Stayed there for only one night. Even though I had a nonsmoking room on the third floor, the hallway smelled like smoke. The room looked dated. The tub had rings around it and the water in the bathtub was slow to drain, like about ten to twenty minutes. The breakfast was mediorce and very limited in a small dining area. I was disappointed I didn't see cream cheese to spread on my bagel. However, I only needed a room to stay for one night. The room was cool, quiet, and peaceful. I didn't want to get up to check out the next morning. So, if you're looking for an affordable room to stay for a night or two, it's a good choice for a restful sleep. Yet, if you want luxurious room, then you're going to have to pay extra and go somewhere else.

Larissa who works the front desk at the hotel was so rude. I was booking rooms for my managers at work to stay there and she had an attitude the entire time and did not do her job or what she said she was going to do and then wouldnt let me speak to her manager when I asked. Also told me that if I was not happy about her not letting me speak to her manager that I could cancel their hotel reservations. Poor customer service all the way around.

Good location. Average quality inn. Felt safe and secure. When I got to room only one towel and I had to get from front desk. I would stay again. Air worked good, lots of hot water, fridge and microwave. The staff was nice.

Bathroom was dirty, with old soap still on the wall, dirty bathroom sink and nightstand. They gave me another room and I went straight to inspect the bathroom and again, found long hair in the shower. $75 it’s not the cheapest in town, but I’ll think twice again to stay here.

The service was great. Everyone was friendly. The breakfast was the best I've had.

I normally love Quality Inn but this one didn't have any fitness center. The juice machine broke this AM too. Things happen. Still a friendly clean place.

The beds are very comfortable with decent pillows. I liked that the room seemed clean and I couldn't find evidence to prove that wrong. Rates are low during the week and makes dor a good weekly stay. Would return here if needed.

The staff was great, our room was nice and comfortable as well as super clean! Very quiet and breakfast was great! Will definitely be back when needing to stay in Lake Charles!

Rooms were clean and well maintained, staff was very friendly, and the location is near the casinos. When I first got there I had an issue with my TV not working in the room. As soon as I reported it to the front desk a lady I think named Tiffany came right up to fix it. After she couldn’t fix it she offered ia discount for the night and was able to switch rooms. To switch rooms we went to a lady name Keisha which was able to get us an upgrade to a suite room for the rest of our stay. These ladies went above and beyond to please us and gave us outstanding customer service! Will definitely return in the future.

The staff was very friendly and worked to make sure our stay offered everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and we loved the extra deep jetted tub. We'd absolutely stay there again.

Staff were super sweet and friendly. Sadly, the facility is in dire need of an upgrade or at least a very deep cleaning. The room smelled extremely musty. The carpets were worn through, the carpet between the bed and wall had not been vacuumed in quite a long time and the caulking in the sink was mildewy and mostly gone.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Wi-fi was fast and reliable. The hotel was clean and well maintained. All the staff were kind and helpful. Check-in and check out process was fast and efficient. Great location with several fast food options and restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean and well maintained. I had no issues staying here and will look forward to staying at this hotel in the future.

Had a great experience during a weekend stay there. Friendly staff, Room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Any request I had, the staff was very quick to respond and give us the best service. Overall a great experience for a good price and will definitely come back when in the Lake Charles area.

One of the best hotels around the city! Customer service was just great and they were very helpful. The food was really good too. I recommend this hotel for everyone who comes by Lake Charles!

Sorry but not so good. First, there were no towels. Had to go to desk to get them. Bathtub & shower wall area all needs thorough cleaning. I know it will come off, as I scrubbed some of it myself. Room has musty odor. Staff was pleasant, breakfast was good & bed slept good This was my free stay night, but was not a treat.

I stayed here this past weekend for a family reunion. (Deridder quality inn) When we return to our room Saturday night it had not been cleaned. The trash had not been taken out, no clean towels, bed was not made. I paid 72 dollars for this night the owner said he could not give me a free night but could give me 15 dollars back. (Wow) then they went on to say we could move you (after ten right) so I slept in a dirty room. This was not cool at all. May consider not returning.

I experienced several problems at this location. 1. Check in process was a horrible experience. I stood waiting and witnesses two front desk employees disagreeing in front of customers. 2. My room smelled like smoke (reported to front desk and no one seems to care. 3. Could not get through hallway because maid service had all kind of things blocking hallways. 4. One of the sprinkler heads was completely missing and wires hanging in my room. This was my worst hotel experience.

This place was the unorganized. The receptionist got my name confused with another guest charged his card for my room then came up to my room at 7am knocked on my door and told me my card wasn't charged for the room. Umm I was sleeping! So instead of paying with card I thought I should pay with cash to lessen the confusion. No apologies at all. There were men and women outside drinking beer and smoking cigarettes in front of the entrance from the time I checked in (8:30am) until checkout (11am). I am a reasonable person so I understand that many people have lost their homes from natural disaster but we still need public decency. My whole floor reaked of cigarette smoke. The breakfast was good hence the one star. I will not be returning to this location in the future.

I made a reservation for a downstairs room with a king bed. I got there an was placed in a downstairs room with 2 double beds. I moved all of my luggage into the room before noticing it was the wrong room type. The desk clerk never told me it was a different room type nor was l offered a refund for the price difference between the two room types. After I was moved to a room upstairs on the 3rd floor and moved my luggage as well, I received a phone call from the front desk saying that I was put there by mistake and that room was reserved for another guest. I went down to the front desk yet again (while my takeout that picked up after being on the interstate for 6 hrs got cold) and the front desk clerk called the hotel manager who basically told me that l needed to move rooms a 3rd time. The room type that I was in was the room type that l reserved and had already paid for. They wanted me to leave it to accommodate another guest who had reserved the same room type but had not arrived yet. I refused and stayed where l was, but l will never frequent this location ever again.

Fairly inexpensive compared to others in the area. Room was clean good for a night to sleep. Tv is small and on a small table so not too comfortable to watch. There was a pine smell from the entrance and in the hallways. During check in, stay, and check out. Not a good one. Other than that it was pleasant.

My stay here was exceptional. It was my first time coming to Lake Charles and the staff at the hotel were really friendly, smiled, welcomed me and made me comfortable. The rooms were well-lit and clean. I could tell that the rooms were recently renovated as well. There was also freshly prepared breakfast the morning after, which was great. I would definitely return the next time I'm in Lake Charles.

We stayed here for a little over a month while looking for a place to live because we are new to the area. I have a newborn baby and had a clutter so didn't ask for the cleaning service much. Both times I did ask the housekeepers where very rude. They would get aggravated when all I would ask for was clean sheets. One day I asked them to change my sheets and she said sure I have two rooms left and I will be there so I jumped in the shower real quick when I got out she knocked on the door I told her to give me a second to put my shirt on she replied back I'm leaving for the day. I told her to give me one second I got my shirt on and opened the door she was gone. When I went to the desk the SUPERVISOR OVER HOUSEKEEPING was very rude and screamed at me and pretty much told me I was lying. She then said she would change my sheets when I returned from picking my husband up my sheets had still not been changed. When I went to the desk they said she had already left for the day and handed me my sheets to change myself. When we were getting ready to check out a few days later the manger Amber asked me if we found and place and I told her yes. She then looked at the SUPERVISOR OVER HOUSEKEEPING and said you here that they found a place with a little grin on her face. In other words very rude. Armani one of the girls that works at the desk is very sweet and did an amazing job making us feel welcomed. She really needs the manager job!

Good staff. I had some inconsiderate guests above me. I spoke with the front desk about it and it was handled shortly thereafter. Thanks gals.

Terrible service, very unprofessional, actually heard the assistant supervisor say in the hallway after I'd asked why they were being rude to me after I came in in my army uniform and with my dog and girlfriend say "That's why you don't mess with Quality inn employees" when I came out into the hallway and asked her what she said she continued to fold towels and didn't answer. Refused to plunge my toilet for days and is now trying to charge me for it.

The place is great priced and the staff is extremely kind. We stayed for 2 nights in a king room and will be staying here any time we are in town. Some of the furniture could use a bit of TLC but the room was in great condition and we will be coming back to this location.

Booked through choice hotels, arrived 4 hours from home, they claimed that the online service overbooked them. A reservation doesn't guarantee a room here. Just so this doesn't happen to anyone else, Shop elsewhere.

Big rooms friendly host clean hotel and rooms.

Went to check on clerk was rude 5 people in front of us only One clerk was a mixup with the online reservation didn't get a room have stayed here many times before but not again.

We are currently staying here right now. The bed had fleas on it (under the covers) and the fitted sheet has a blood stain. The bathroom has who knows WHAT stains/residue behind the trash can and plastered on the walls. It's now currently 11:15pm and people keep slamming their doors and talking in the hallways. The doors and walls are so thin in the rooms, you can hear everything and everyone. We are booked to stay until Sun AM. But we will be leaving at first light and speaking to manager to fully refund our money. This place is WAY overpriced for what you get here. (Should be priced at less than $50/night) Everything is dirty! The hallways smell of smoke and the rooms smell of mildew.

Had a great, spacious room that looked clean. Television worked great.

The hotel front desk clerks are rude. The hotel carpet and hall ways are filthy and smell of smoke. The room floor is filthy and the comforter had a burn hole in it for a non smoking room. I forgot my shirt in the room at check out. I called a few hours later and the clerk stated that they found it. I asked for it to be mailed to me and it was given to the manager Kimberly who promised to mail it. Needless to say I never received it. When I called to inquire about the shirt, Ms. Kimberly was very rude to me and stated that they were not responsible for items left in the room. In other words,. I take it she is keeping my shirt. This was a very expensive shirt.

Booked a double bed room with Expedia for $80 and got to the hotel relatively late at night. When we got there we were told that they didn't have any double bed rooms left. They ended up charging us on top of what we paid for the room we never got through Expedia. Ended up with a king size bed and fold out couch, which was the most uncomfortable thing ever. I considered sleeping on the floor but shot that down once I realized that the floors looked like they haven't been vacuumed since the place was built. The hallway carpet was so nasty and the entire place smelled of body odor and cigarettes. The tub had holes and mold. The blanket we used was rough. Let's just say that this place was the dirtiest QUALITY of Louisiana. Definitely not worth the money. Sleep in your car over staying at this place.

This is a decent enough place for a night's sleep. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and reasonably well appointed. The hotel was built in the last 10 years but is already beginning to show signs of age, the obvious result of shoddy construction. There were no huge, glaring faults but the many small deficiencies left unattended gave me the impression that management simply didn't care.

My friend says the Wi-Fi is trash.

Definitely top notch! The Staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They are working on remodeling, will be back in the future so that I can see the completed work. Very close to shopping and restaurants and not too far from the Casinos. Thank you for a great stay.

BEST Hotel in the Lake Charles area! I have stayed here for a long time and I have been able to see the improvements being made. They are renovating on the hallways, but it does not have any affect on the rooms. The Front Desk was such great help and also the housekeeping was friendly. Rooms were clean and smelled fresh. Will continue to keep staying at this property when ever I am in the Lake Charles area.

Booked two nights which I confirmed upon ckecking in Friday night; went to the karate Tournament on Saturday morning and when I returned Saturday afternoon, my key cards did not work. I had to wait outside my room while my son went to the front desk to get them rekeyed. There were three other groups of people near my room who had to do the same. Ran out of clean towels because there were only enough for 2 people in a room with 2 queen beds. Room small for price. In the future, I will shop around for a larger room for the price. I booked my room on the phone and had the pleasure of being assisted by Amber. She was very professional, pleasant, and helpful. The staff was pleasant. The room was clean.

Do not stay here! read my experience! the worst hotel experience i've ever had! ashes all over the night stand, garbage on the floor in the elevator, and the ac didnt work, by about 1am I couldnt stand it anymore so I called the front desk ( (no answer) ) by then I had had it and packed my things to check out when I went to the front desk I waited for about 5 minutes ( (no one came) ) so I left and continued to my destination in the middle of the night, a few days later looking at my bank statement they had charged me twice! so I called and spoke to the girl at the front desk who was so rude and then the manager who was even more rude, they would not refund my money back I had to file a claim through my bank I hope I get my money back because they charged me nearly $200 and I had only been there for 5 hours.

Rented 5 rooms because a large group of us we were attending a meeting being held in Lake Charles, and I regret that we selected this place. Smelly and unclean. 2 of the 5 rooms had air conditioners that did not function properly, so we had to relocate to other rooms. The security latch and the deadbolt for one of the rooms were broken. There was also NO security from persons wanting access into the facility through the rear door on 1st floor because the lock was broken. When I notified the front desk of this, they advised that a maintenance ticket had already been submitted. Each of our rooms had to request additional towels as they only provided enough in each room for 2 people (our parties consisted of 4 persons per room). Never again! never.

When I first called to book I was told to call back in a few because they were busy. When I called to book my room I inquired about the pool because I was coming to town to on the next day to meet with a friend with kids and we all wanted to swim. I was told that the pool was ready to use. Arrived, went to check in there was no booking under my name. I had been booked for the previous night. I was then checked into a dirty room. There was still dirty towels on the floor, the bed was unmade. I left and came back to my room a few hours later. The room had been cleaned so we changed and headed to to pool to find it filthy and green. The water was so dirty that we couldn't even see the first step to get in if we had wanted to. The check in staff did not look or act very professional at all. Over all, I was very unhappy with my stay.

The rooms were relatively clean but not worth $80 bucks per night. There is a small staff managing the hotel looks like one family. The decor is dated and the appliances are worn, and there was paint peeling from the ceiling in my room. Also the phone didn't work and the tub drain backed up when I showered.
