Hilton staff bent over backwards to help during our recent stay. I am wheelchair bound and my husband fell and could not walk as a result. They helped countless times to make our stay the best. They were the hotel we expected from the Hilton name plus. Thank you .

Beautiful spacious room, wonderful staff, excellent drinks, very reminiscent of days gone by but very much geared to comfort. Appears to be from the era similar to The Drake in Chicago. We’ll be returning.

Dog friendly ☺️ Old fashioned in a great way! We spend the last 2 months on the road and wanted something classy and this was a great choice. Awesome live music in the beer garden and at the bar 👏

I have stayed in multiple hotels in Milwaukee area alone. At least 2 times a month I stay in a hotel there for work. I stayed here for pleasure, and in my honest opinion it is not worth the $200 a night you are paying for a tiny 1 bedroom. Here’s why: -The lighting in the room is low & when you open your window there is not any privacy since majority of the rooms are all facing each-other and you can look inside your neighbors room. -You have to pay for parking, $28 a day. (Other hotels in Milwaukee have free parking) -There’s no real amenities, only a small workout area. (Other hotels in Milwaukee have a washer/dryer room, a pool, computer rooms) — There’s no free breakfast. (other hotels in Milwaukee have free breakfast) This hotel however has a nice miller bar located inside for a reasonable price and a historic look to it. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend.

Outstanding friendly staff. I had an issue that was quickly resolved. This place is stunning. This is the place to stay in Milwaukee. This my second stay and I am coming back. Reasonably priced as well. I would highly recommend. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Horrible. Outdated. Overpriced. Poor management. Unfortunately have had to stay here because of many “stay to play” sporting events and proximity to the City Center, but I’m hopeful that will change as more people voice their dissatisfaction with the hotel, scamming policies, overpriced and tired (disgusting) rooms. Paying $500 for sleeping on night not even 12 hours in a room is ridiculous!

Stunning architecture of the Art Deco period. Beautiful lounge and great Bar with amazing food and drinks. A must stay.

Racist and Unprofessional Staff.

I stayed here Friday, September 3, 2021 and checked out Sunday, September 4, 2021 in room 758 in the king suite for my wedding. The room was super outdated, the pull out couch was disgusting with all sorts of unknown stains and blood stains. Due to that a member from my bridal party couldn’t sleep on it. House keeping never came to clean the room as well. Horrible newlywed experience.

Would rather stay at a Motel 6.
Would have gotten more bang for our buck and would have been treated better.
For a Hilton this place is very disappointing. Behind the beautiful entrance and the Bartender Ryan this place felt like the hotel from the Shinning!

The hotel itself was nice, clean, and friendly. Except for when they wouldn’t answer the phone for hours? I will however not be returning here ever again. While I know it’s partially out of the hotel’s hands, this place isn’t safe. Multiple people were assaulted with BB guns from moving vehicles all day Saturday, and when we made a report of it happening the hotel failed to increase security… and the next day someone was wounded with a real firearm here. I wouldn’t go back unless you plan to carry body armor.

Melissa the director of rooms was very rude hung up on me twice as a Hilton member I will no longer return. I called back to speak to a manager she refused to transfer me said she was in charge of the whole hotel.

I loved my room the Royal Suite. The room was not only huge but beautiful. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in and the staff was pleasant.

This is a totally unresponsive unpleasant hotel experience. I’ve been trying to get my room cleaned for two days. They have never come despite my request and confirmation. What exactly are we paying for in all the fees if not a basic room cleaning especially with Covid and especially when all your public areas are closed?

I love the decor and it was aeasy walk to nice restaurants and the waterfront.

Friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous hotel that is sparkling clean. I love that there is water with either fresh fruit or fresh vegetables offered in the hallway for guests. Very comfortable bed. Pillows were comfortable but I would prefer they were at least a full size versus how small they were. I definitely would recommend the Hilton. It is very close to a lot of places and has plenty of restaurants and bars within the building so you don't have to leave the hotel if that is your preference. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

I stayed in a deluxe room on 16th floor. Nice rooms, multiple places to dine within the hotel. Live music during my stay at one of the bar/lounges. Friendly staff. Also, did a great job with the holiday decorations. Will stay there again!

Beautiful building very friendly nice room.

Was a clean place to experience WEMSA. Seating areas throughout hallways had places to charge phones, etc. Easy to navigate to find different conference rooms and easy access with the skywalk to two hotels.

Lovely vintage hotel in a fantastic location. Parking was convenient, our room was clean and the front desk staff was super helpful. We also enjoyed our room service breakfast, and found the pricing less than anticipated.

Loved the atmosphere, and enjoyed meeting Millie your 3 year old pup mascot! Rooms clean, service was great and location to transportation and other things was very convenient.

The front desk supervisor is amazing. She puts in extra efforts to ensure customers are happy. I will definitely come back.

This hotel is definitely my go to Milwaukee hotel from now on! Stayed here recently and everything was absolutely amazing. The room was very inviting and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We ate and drank at the Miller Pub downstairs everynight. It was overall perfect! Thank you Hilton City Center!

No, staying here now and the lobby is beautiful, but the room was dusty, not at all what I expected, disappointed!

Room service was excellent. Breakfast was off the chain good. Rooms were very nice. Wonderful place to stay.

Do not stay here if you actually want to sleep. Noise from one of the multiple weddings below is so loud and constant (at 12:50 a. M. ) that my bed’s upholstered headboard is actually vibrating… yes, I’m on a lower level and two doors from the bank of elevators (opposite of what I had requested and assured I’d receive in my chat session upon booking the room back in August), but there shouldn’t be guest rooms that are in use if noise from events below is clearly going to impact the ability to actually get some sleep.

This Hilton is not an elegant hostelry. It is large, old, and a ghost of its past self. Yet, the rooms are refurbished, water pressure is excellent, a decent steak house anchors the first floor, and the location is in the heart of Milwaukee. Best of all, the price can be very reasonable. We paid $127.00 per night for a deluxe king room. That is a steal compared to other decent hotels in the area. Our room on the 24th floor was quiet, large enough, with okay storage, and an older bathroom. Sure, the TV was small, the furniture worn, and everything seemed stale. But, we paid $127 per night! I did park a block away to save a few bucks, but who cares. For $127 a night, I will stay at this Hilton every time I'm in Milwaukee.

Very nice bldg, nice beds, bathroom and great location. Great bar and restaurant. Upset about my room. A/C is old, terrible and noisy. The doors all squeaked, the Wi-Fi was slow, no mini fridge and the TV is outdated. I’ve stayed at other nearby 4 star hotels and I would definitely recommend checking them out if you want a room to match the star rating.

Good hotel. Was here for a conference. Love the Art Deco style that was all over the hotel from the chandeliers to the gilded ceilings. Escalators and elevators are super convenient for those attending conferences. Friendly staff, and love the Starbucks just downstairs along with the restaurant and breakfast place for convenient foods.

Now don’t get me wrong the hotel is beautiful but… sate saying goes “everything that glitters is NOT gold”. The insulation is horrible you hear EVERYTHING, the people walking the hallways sound like they are inches away from you, I stayed on the 14th floor and still heard traffic noise, we didn’t get our room serviced until after 5 pm and the experience was hand and hand with any $59 per night stay not even close to what we paid for our stay.

Location is central to everything downtown, with easy to access parking in the attached ramp. The hotel itself is great — big old-style vintage and kept up very well. Most of the rooms, however, are dated and could use some renovations. That's not to say I don't like staying here, because I do, but it's very obvious it's an old hotel. There's a fridge in the rooms, and the views are generally good if you get an outward facing room. There is no pool, but every other major amenity is available including some pretty decent room service from the the shared restaurants. Highway access is easy, and it's only minutes from Miller Park, the casino, and both the State Fair and Summerfest grounds.

Rooms are clean and nice, but I'd like it better if there were fridges in the rooms, and if the labeling of where the ice machine's location was clearer. The lobby is beautiful and classic. It gives me a sense of elegance and glamor even though I'm from a working class family I also loves the resident dog. What a cutie! Overall good and kind staff. Would definitely visit again ❤️

As a flight attendant I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This hotel is wonderful! It's beautiful, the staff is more than cordial and friendly, and the food is delicious. Most of all, Millie The concierge, a mini golden doodle, makes visiting here the absolute best! She is such a doll! Her owner, Rusty, could not offer more friendly, professional service! He shares his pup with the public and she has become quite the icon! Do yourself a favor if you are in Milwaukee, take the time to visit this beautiful hotel! You'll be glad you did!

Elegant art decko hotel restored to good condition. Conveniently located, and upper floors have a great view. Rooms are a little on the small side since the hotel is older, and the shower heads are at like 5'6". Service is dicey — a couple nights room service didn't give us any towels when they cleaned the room… had to call 3 times (and wait 45 minutes) to get some. Heard window washers outside the window the first morning of our stay, but the windows never got cleaned. They left their rope hanging the whole time though… overall an OK hotel.

Nice Hilton hotel located conveniently in Downtown Milwaukee. This hotel was built in the 1920's and it certainly shows it in its character. Lots of gold trim, large curtains and opulent finishes. Lots of meeting space if you are looking to host a small conference or set of meetings. There are also 3 restaurants on the bottom floor: the Hotel restaurant, Miller Time Pub, and a steak house. The Miller Time Pub and horel restaurant are very good, speaking from experience.

This is an example of how a city cab preserve the beauty of older buildings while staying relevant with current technology. The Art Deco decor helps maintain the historic feel of the hotel and it adds to the appeal. The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms have hot water and good water pressure. No part of the hotel feels old or unsafe. You will see character everywhere and attention to detail that was obvious from the time the building was erected in the late 1920's. I'm glad the city of Milwaukee has created a favorable environment for businesses to maintain the existing buildings to keep they unique feeling of downtown.

I was not an overnight guest but was here for a wedding. The venue was great. Food tasted very good, wait staff were courteous, bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of places in the lobby to escape the noise should you want to. I'm not sure if the DJ and music were just loud, but once music and dancing got going the whole room was loud. Still had a fantastic time overall.

Stopped for a snack and drink at the Miller Time Pub & Grill at the hotel after a concert at The Riverside theatre. It was about the only place in the area serving food at 11pm. I ended up getting a Maker's Manhattan and the Cheeseburger. The drink is the worst Manhattan I've ever been served. Tasted like all Vermouth. Nearly undrinkable. The burger was actually pretty good. Seemed like handmade patties and the bun was soft and doughy like I like them. The fries on the side were not great. I was happy that somewhere was open for a late night bite but I wish it could have been a bit better.

This is the worst hotel in my last 500+ nights traveling. Stay away! The rooms offer barely enough space to change your mind… even that is too late… smaller than my bathroom at home. There is NO climate control, despite the decorative wall ornament one might assume was a thermostat. The staff finally admitted they are not connected. The mattresses are fine if you like sleeping on a rock. Easily the worst night stay you could imagine unless you judge solely on the beauty of historic lobby, which is unquestionable. But if you want a decent night sleep… Stay anywhere else!

Check in was smooth and the monarch bar is nice, I'll say that. Otherwise, here goes… The room 1. I was placed on the 6th floor — above the event level where the ballroom and meeting rooms were located. So, I had the pleasure of hearing doors slam and plates fall throughout the night. Avoid this floor if possible. 2. Not only was I above noise, I was BESIDE it as well. My room was next to the housekeeping closet. So, I was awakened in the wee hours of the morning. No sleep at night and no way to recover in the morning. The bathroom 3. The toilet was very close to the door. Now, for a short person, you'll be good. But, if you're 5'9" like me or taller, you'll be uncomfortable each bathroom visit because your knees will be against the door THEN, your head will hit the doorknob as you lean forward to "wrap up. " 4. The vanity is small. My items barely fit so a couple or a family would have to go in one by one unfortunately. There's no way I was putting my toiletries on the little bar over the toilet. 5. Dirty towels. Enough said The hotel 6. The hotel is old and despite the updates, you still know it's old. The biggest indicator is the carpet. Its dirty and sticky. The other indicator is the ceiling. Also, the lights in this hotel are dim — it's not bright and vibrant. I want to see bright lights when I walk in and feel like I'm in a clean place. I was here on business for a meeting. I would not choose this place for leisure.

They have Millie the dog as a concierge assistant as the cherry on top. This place is great, the architecture is 1920’s Art Deco and all of the staff bends over backwards to make sure your stay is top notch. The prices are well worth the location and service you get here. Honestly you can’t get much cheaper in down town Milwaukee.

Husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding almost a year ago. The waterfront view is definitely worth the $$ if you're looking for a special experience and memorable view. Since it's a boutique hotel they pay a little more attention to you and have pretty fantastic service: handwritten note, bottle of champagne… We're going again this year to celebrate our anniversary!

Downtown. Excellent Steak Restaurant.

The hotel has a vintage charm, but there’s a fine line between vintage and old. I had a corner room on the 21st floor with two windows. The room was small, cold, and sparsely furnished. The only heat was located under one of the windows and no heat at all in the bathroom. I paid extra for a deluxe room (which means on a higher floor with views of the city). I did have a city view durning the day, unfortunately at night the spotlights, they strategically placed directly outside each of the windows, kept me from seeing anything and filled the room with light. And because the heating fan ran continually (blowing the curtain) keeping the light out was nearly impossible. On the positive side, this was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in, not just in the room but everywhere I went.

This hotel is in downtown Milwaukee and super close to the Convention center. It has nice staff, a couple of restaurants and a Starbucks. It has decorations from the city (e. G. Harley Davidson bikes) and there is even a "concierge dog" (a poodle).

Great hotel! Has 2 resturants on lower level, a Starbucks, and breakfast buffet available at additional cost. Conveniently located downtown. Every room is different due to the nostalgia of the historic building. Clean rooms and friendly staff, plus you have to meet Millie! Their famous puppy that greets you when you check in.

I've been staying at this location with great regularity for the past 15 years. Hotel is steeped in history and looks great during the winter Holiday season. Rooms are clean with a slightly dated layout (simply due to the age of the building) but does not take away from the comfort or staying pleasure. Honors Lounge is also decent.

I'm a Marriott guy, but I stayed here for the night, and was not disappointed, the beds were nice, and the blankets were warm. The bathroom was a tad small, but the bathtub was massively deep, it was pretty nice, if you wanted for whatever reason to take a bath, you definitely could submerge a large portion of yourself. We ordered room service, I got the cheese burger, and it was cooked to perfection. Room service took 20 minutes to come to our room but we were expecting much longer. All and all when I come back to Milwaukee, this will be my first choice of Hotel for my stay.

Stayed for Valentines Day Weekend — would return for awesome lobby. The room was nice enough, a bit basic, but we were just booking a place to stay for the night. We loved hanging out in the lobby bar, its beautiful and great atmosphere. We missed seeing Millie the Dog but total reason to return. Location is great for travel and parking is very easy. Saved $5 by parking across the street with Spot Hero.

Great staff, Marc was an extremely helpful bellhop and the dog greeting everyone was a fun experience! The rooms were clean but the heat was way to hot. I tried to turn on the A. C. But it didn't do much in the middle of winter. Overall would recommend.

Always feels like a classy experience rooming at the Hilton. Few other hotels can offer the same feeling without having a huge price tag behind it. It's also conveniently closest to the Wisconsin Center.

I love this hotel. Whenever I come to Milwaukee I stay here. The service is always excellent and the accommodations are as well. It's quiet even though it's right downtown which is rare. I love the fact that there is always jazz music or other standards playing through the public areas and the elevators. I love the old world charm of the place.

A very nice, clean, updated older hotel. Staff is unfailingly cheerful and helpful. Millie, the hotel dog, and official greeter is a joy! Our room was very adequate. My only reservation which held me back from 5 stars was difficulty in the room with Wifi, which worked fine in the lobby (it was included with the room). Staff tried to help, and I tried many of the workarounds posted online, but no success. Otherwise, a great stay.

The holiday party I attended was lovely. The ballroom fit the cozy cabin theme perfectly. The food was nice — delicious apple cider! — and the banquet servers were friendly. Each member of the staff was courteous.

Great historic hotel. Recently renovated rooms. Beautiful lobby. The elevators all appear to work, which is a huge bonus, I never waited more than 20 seconds for an elevator. Room 2404 is set apart from others and the long, skinny layout makes it seem bigger than it actually is. Parking is steep for Milwaukee, but allows in and out, and is convenient being connected to the hotel. The lot across the street is only a couple dollars cheaper for overnight. We enjoyed the snacks and breakfast in the VIP lounge. Be sure to check it out if you're eligible! We know where we'll stay next time we're in Milwaukee.

Room was very nice, clean, good view. Doorman was friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the cafe was really good. Location is great, right in downtown, just a walk away from a lot of cool stuff. Parking was convenient but would have been cost prohibitive ($25) if I didn't get it paid for by my hosts.

My Husband booked this room again without my knowledge. However, I'm always willing to give a place a second chance though. This time around, the room was a little bit better. The manager never called me from my last day but that's just fine. The biggest gripe I have this time is that we were harassed by the housekeeper. He was stalking our life! There is no reason for a housekeeper to stalk you at 8:30 a. M. In the morning and check out time is at noon! He came back knocking 3 times. We had a late flight got in late and this is what we had to deal with. They put us by the loading dock and it was extremely noisy. They need to have microwaves and refrigerators in the room. Smh!

Great location, withing walking distance of many good restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Good views of downtown to the east and rest of mileage in other directions, particularly from 15th floor and up. Staff cordial and helpful. Clean simple rooms with comfy, but slightly broken in beds. Standard bathroom with tub/shower unless starting in a suite. Awesome lobby with bar/lounge. Great historical architecture. Room service is speedy and friendly, good coffee, avoid the food. Overall would stay again.

This hotel is so incredibly beautiful. It has been kept in great condition and has friendly staff. The rooms are on the smaller side. The the rest of the building is amazing! If you need a place for an event or conference I would suggest this elegant hotel.

Nice hotel. Historic building, so it's built around that on the inside, meaning rooms are small, but adequately sized. Rooms were clean and had good views of downtown. Hotel is close to lots of restaurants, Harley museum and river. Miller pub downstairs is good.

I was at The Hilton City Center for a wedding. The venue for the wedding was absolutely gorgeous and the staff for the event were great. Being from out of town I stayed the night at the hotel as well and that is where my experience very much was lacking. The walls are paper thin and the guests next door were not courteous at all and were very noisy and hotel staff did nothing to accommodate by either moving my room or telling them to keep it down. Also, the room had cobwebs and dust every where and looked like it had not been cleaned even though there was a card saying it had been and the curtains had so many holes that light came through as if the drapes were open. Finally, there was only 1 towel in the room upon arrival which seems ridiculous considering the room was booked for 2 people. For the cost of the room I am very disappointed in the cleanliness and overall experience staying at this hotel. I would recommend it for an event, however, as that was wonderful.

Very old building, with a beautifully decorated lobby. However, the age of the building is clearly evident in the rooms. Aside from the desk and bed-frames, nothing else has been updated. We switched rooms hoping it was a one off, but both were in similar condition. Note, in both rooms, the light blocking blinds don't block much light, and there is only one layer of curtains; if you are sensitive to light in the morning, don't sleep here. I've never commented on uncomfortable beds before, but both my wife and myself woke up with lower back pain. At literally 8:15 am a member of the hotel staff knocked on the door and tried coming in to my room. If it were not for the safety door latch holding the door closed, he would have come opened it completely (he tried). To make matters unforgettable, upon leaving the room for good, we found condom wrappers next to the desk. Won't stay here again, had much better experiences at the Hyatt two blocks to the east. For those that do plan on staying, there is no valet, only self-parking. Save the hassle, and simply park yourself literally across the hotel at the huge, visible, easy to find, cheaper, lot across the two-lane street.

I stayed at the Hilton for a weekend trip to Milwaukee. The hotel is very old and pretty, and the rooms have been updated. The room I stayed in had a great view of downtown. However, it did not have a closet, luggage rack, or hair dryer. The hotel had a shuttle service to the Brewers game which was very convenient. From this hotel, you can walk to the Pabst Mansion, Marquette University, Milwaukee Public Market, and the Riverwalk. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay!

I am a diamond member. I checked in online for a room that I knew would be on the quiet side of the building. When I went to my room using my digital key on my phone the door would not open and I could hear voices coming from that room. My phone stated that my room was 1516 and not 1546 that I checked into. When I went to the front desk they lied and stated that my room was not ready so the gave me a room that was. This was at 5:30 pm so saying the room was not ready was a lie. They gave the room to someone else. If you are a diamond member do not expect to be treated like one. I will not be back.

I had a reservation for one night. My dog was injured in an accident before I left home. I ended up having to put my Dog down. I called to cancel my stay for the night. I was told I couldn't because I had checked in with my digital key. Mind you I said I wouldn't arrive until 8pm when I checked in on the app. I never even made it to Milwaukee. Oh, And the staff put me on hold for way to long just to come back and tell me I couldn't get a refund. I'm a Gold Member. Don't tell me there is nothing that can be done.

Beautiful building, amazing decor, friendly staff, great food, spectacular view, walking distance to downtown Milwaukee shopping, Bar and grill restaurant's, theatre and more. Also Pet Friendly!

I bought 15 rooms at this hotel for my wedding. While the rooms were fine, every single aspect of the reservation process was painful and horrible. I had five different associates assigned to me in the span of 7 months. Every new associate helping me I had to walk back through the whole process with. At first, every room reservation was accidentally doubled. Then I needed to make some changes to the reservations. I called and after an hour long conversation was able to make the changes (I thought). When we checked in however none of the changes I made actually went through which resulted in my husband and myself having to wait at reception while our guests checked in to make sure every one of them actually had a room under their name. Lastly, I wanted to pay for the rooms and even though I filled out the online form, at check in I still had to walk through every single reservation number with the front desk (took over 1.5 hours the day before my wedding when I had many better things to be doing) and still two of my guests were charged. The rooms were fine, but the quality of service was so horrible that I will never go to this hotel again.

Great location for exploring Milwaukee, just steps to the river walk and great dining options. The room was clean, however, there was no mini fridge in our room and there was an adjoining room w/ door. No mini fridge and no pool were a bit of a bummer, but for a one night stay this hotel was a good stay. Parking is $25 per night. The rooms are quite, we slept very well in the King sized bed.

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the city. The rooms were clean and roomy with all the necessary amenities. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because we had to call for room service to bring us extra towels the next day. Was hoping for more speedy service. Other than that everyone was really nice and courteous.

First and most important the hotel is great — clean and plenty of amenities. Beyond that the staff is awesome. Special shout out to the front manager Mike. He took what could have been a situation and acted quickly to fix it and make me feel at ease about the situation. Can't wait to come back soon.

I totally I thought the place was nice. We ft a great deal on our room. Out bed linens were stained and there are cobwebs all over the room. The toilet has something nasty caked under it and also the floor around the dirty appeared dirty. The staff was great and the beds are comfortable. There is no mini fridge or blow dryer in the room either.

Really nice common areas, good variety of places to eat/drink on site and super close to other downtown restaurants. Room was nice, wish it had a mini fridge though as seems to be default for most newer hotels. Same for bathroom, it's fine, but smallish for today's standards. Lastly, I read that free Wi-Fi was not included, but my wife and I connected 3 devices with no issue. Bottom line would not hesitate to stay again.

Attended a wedding reception here. It was amazing! Great bartenders! Beautiful venue. Wait staff was only okay. Some we're kind of rude to my nieces. Not cool, but others were great so that was nice.

Friendly and courteous service. Clean and comfortable room, and a nice hot shower. All the things I needed on this trip to make my stay a pleasant one.

This hotel was built in 1920 and is beautiful. It's a great location and has a bar and cafe, though we didn't visit them, though I did not visit them. The parking was expensive, but there is a cheaper alternative across the street that was great.

Beautiful hotel. Great location. Awesome staff. Hilton honors breakfast was better than most. I did not partake in the full breakfast… It was downstairs and looked nice. I was wakened several times during the night from the racket the AC made. Otherwise great stay.

The first room we were given was not the king room we reserved, and the main entrance lights in the room didn't work. I went down to change the room type as per our reservation and to tell them about the lights. And they said it would be $15 upcharge per night. I said fine because the double beds were very small and we wanted the king room in the first place. In the second room we were given, the shower didn't give out hot water nor was there ANY water pressure. We asked maintenance to check while we were away. Apparently (as we found out much later) he just turned the faucet on and said "well, water is coming out, so it's fine" and left. We complained again the next day after not being able to shower and a different maintenance guy checked it and said a part needed to be replaced and they wanted us to wait around while he fixed it (it was late at night and we were tired and wanting to sleep). I said no way, you need to give us a different room. They finally gave us a different room and said they would drop the $15 per night "upgrade" charge and parking fees. I said fine, since we were already spending WAY more than what these rooms are worth (small rooms, falling apart, etc). Terrible service, terrible hotel experience, run-down rooms… We will NOT be returning.

I stayed there for 3 nights for my convention. The staff was nice and friendly, the rooms were nice and clean, and the beds were nice and soft. Even though my first room key didn't work, I was able to get a new one. I hope that I can get a chance to stay there again.

Rom was nice, king suite. Lacked a refrigerator of any sort which seemed odd since it came in the less expensive rooms. Bed was nice, heat and cooling in the room did not work well, was set to 65 degrees (we were roasting) and it never cooled down. Even turned the fan speed to high with little improvement. Clearly was very old equipment. No breakfast included and the 16 dollar buffet was not very good.

The cafe had a good selection of food that was freshly prepared. I got the granola and a friend had eggs Benedict. Both were very good. The staff was very friendly and the parking was convenient. The beds were clean and comfortable, free Wi-Fi was available, coffee machine with coffee and tea were stocked daily in our room.

Nice place, great accommodations, facilities were good, every thing we were looking for. Bar service could have been faster, but they were very courteous.

One of the best hotels I have ever visited. Not only is the Art Deco decor beautiful, the rooms are comfy and reasonably priced, and the staff is genuinely amazing and kind. They are fantastic!

I come here every year with a group of 15+ friends for an annual get together. Brittany at the front desk did an amazing job at keeping our separate rooms all together and was kry in making this a great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff and always look forward to my visits here.

My wife and I stayed here a few weeks ago, and the experience was excellent. On arrival the bellman helped unpack my bags and bring them up to my room. I don't usually do that, but it was my first time at this hotel and it was a great help. I opted to check-in at the front desk, but could have just checked in via the Hilton app on my phone. Check-in was quick and I was up in my room in short order. The room was clean and updated, and in great condition. My room package included $50 of on-site spending per day. We ate that the Miller Pub and the Milwaukee Chophouse in consecutive nights. The food and atmosphere were great and the food was excellent. Overall the service and value was exceptional for me. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was beautiful built in the 20's and the architecture was amazing. The staff was excellent their customer service was above expectation.

One of the most beautiful Hiltons for sure, it is a gorgeous historic building and close to everything! There's. A starbucks in the lobby, 2 great restaurants and a miller's pub with some of the best food I've ever tasted plus live music. It's within walking distance of everything. Everything is a mile or less to shop or eat. I'll be back for sure.

I always have a great time whenever I stay at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. It is my first choice whenever I travel for business or personal reasons. The rooms are always nice, clean and comfortable and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. However, what sets the Hilton apart from other hotels is the superior quality of their customer service. Everyone that works there from the people at the reservation desk to the garage attendants, always greet you with a smile and go out of their way to assist you. I have also hosted and attended events at this location. Always a pleasure doing business.

The room was clean, elegant, and the view from the 22nd floor was phenomenal. There is plenty of cheap parking and it felt very safe.

It was very nice and fancy.

The room smelled smoky but the bed was comfortable.

My friend purchased a room for my birthday, and we had a wonderful time. This hotel is spectacular, with a beautiful guest lobby and bar area. One of the better stays I have had in Milwaukee.

Love this hotel and the style. Absoutely beautiful and classic lobby (love the old fashioned mail system remains intact). Then transition into more modern guest rooms. We will definitely stay again.

The front desk was friendly, the room was nice. Until we were woke up at 5 a. M. By three people in a room next to ours who were having a domestic dispute. Screaming, pounding on the door, and apparently breaking things (a broken lamp was sitting outside later). It sounded as if they were in our room. It was so bad, it woke up my daughter who was 6 rooms down. When I called the front desk, they said they were aware, it was an emergency call and people were on the way. 15 minutes later the screaming, yelling and beating on the door was still happening. It took another 20 minutes before the cops showed up — of course the people were gone by then. This problem was happening long before it woke us up, so I'm not sure why it took so long to get someone up there. I don't think anyone from the hotel ever showed up, at least I didn't hear anyone. There was also a terrible odor of pot all down our hallway. The restaurant/bar in the lobby is really good, but expensive. Parking fee was a bit much.

The bellman was not very friendly. The front desk staff did give me a great room after I requested a change. Hotel is a little less Hiltonish to me, but does have some cool features, mainly the elevator system. The hallways are dark and kinda gloomy make me feel like I'm in the shinning. The beds are comfy tho.

Nothing entirely bad about my experience with this hotel, but I would not come here again. Rooms are small and the hotel is in need of updating. Parking in the garage costs $24 for a night. Way overpriced in my opinion. Staff was friendly and helpful to me though.

The front desk staff was not very helpful when I checked in. They seemed more interested in charting with each other than helping me and I waited a couple minutes for them to notice and check me in. They could have been more helpful when I asked about parking. They told me to use the lot across the street which in addition to charging me a fortune, fined me because my receipt wasn't placed on the dash. There wasn't good signage there and I would expect the hotel staff should have known and warned me. Instead I ended up paying a large fee. Thanks a lot, Hilton and Milwaukee. You suck.

From the moment we pulled up to the hotel until we left the staff were rude and not the least bit helpful. We could not even sit outside the hotel to wait on shuttle because of the amount of homeless people who are very aggressive and bothersome. The staff does not bother to put up No Loitering signs nor do they even care to ask them to leave as they are badgering the guest. I am very very disappointed with the length of my stay to endure this kind of treatment. I was told by others that their experience at the Hyatt, across the street, was nothing like this. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I spoke to 4 different people over the phone, not a single one could answer my VERY simple question of "what is the room rate for a single occupancy for this evening? ". If they can't even tell you the room rate how can they even run a business? I then called back and asked to speak to a manager, he never once apologized or sounded sympathetic. I calmly explained that I was transferred several different times and not one employee could tell me what the room rate was for that day. Very confusing. He made it very clear he didn't care what happened on my previous phone call and gave me the room rate and hung up! And I was very polite and calm hoping that would help me get my answer. No such luck with these unnecessarily rude people. I travel often with large sports teams and we will never allow our groups to give this hotel our business. Take it elsewhere, don't condone this sort of behavior folks.

Amazing venue for our wedding. Maggie — wedding coordinator and staff was flawless throughout our whole experience. The food was excellent — service outstanding, bartenders friendly and service staff responsive and engaged the entire evening. Could not have been a better experience. EXCELLENT pricing for a wedding.
