We definitely would stay here again.

I don't quite get what all the bad reviews on here are about. We stayed in room 128 on the bottom floor and it was great. I'm not sure what the whole "small bathroom" complaints are about. The bathroom is definitely a bigger one for a hotel. Only difference from most hotels is it doesn't have a mirror for hair drying and that outside of the bathroom. The room seemed to be well taken care of and the beds were comfy. Checked the beds multiple times and they seemed clean each time. Definitely happy including the great breakfast and amazing staff at the front counter. When we forgot a comb they had one for free. I would definitely recommend as a great hotel near Cleveland and the lake. Also only 5 minutes away from 2 big shopping complex.

Little dated. Rooms are nice but small. Breakfast was good. Main thing I have a problem with is that the elevators make you feel like you might be stuck in them for a day once they start moving. They are ancient and struggle to get one person up a couple floors. I get scared when multiple people get on.

I am so disappointed by my stay 2 weeks ago. I spent two nights at this hotel and my room had bed bugs! I woke up with extensive bites on my toes, legs, hands, and arms. I didn’t realize what they were from at first, but it was confirmed when I found an adult sized bed bug crawling across my bed the morning I checked out. I trapped it and immediately told the concierge, who initially denied that it was a bed bug. I left my cell for the Manager to call, which he did not. I wrote an email to him that night, which was not promptly responded to. I called two days later but was directed to an insurance company to record my “claim”. Since I missed the insurance adjuster’s first call, I have left several voicemails yet still have not received a call back over a week later. I emailed the manager again explaining that the insurance company was not returning my calls, and he has yet to respond to that email as well. I understand that bed bugs can happen to even a nice/clean hotel. My initial disappointment is now becoming more of an outrage at how this is being handled. I had to throw away my suitcase and all its contents because I didn’t want to risk them infesting my home. They should be proactively taking action instead of passively waiting for me to reach out (and still with no recourse). The financial cost and burden of having to replace my luggage and other belongings needs to be compensated. I would not stay here. I should have stayed at the Hyatt like I usually do!

Nicely appointed hotel with a breakfast service that is not just continental. Room was clean but, the bathroom has no fan so it gets humid in the room; and the bathroom is TINY and a bit dated. Coffee service and fruit are offered in the lobby but, no water is out. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Overall, a pleasant stay and we'd come back.

The rooms are really nice. I wish SO MUCH that I can got a king sized bed in my room at home and it was so, so nice to have one here. I do wish that there was a pool, but the hotel's kept pretty well. I didn't make it down in time for breakfast, but it's nice that they offer free breakfast.

The beds were so comfy. The rooms were clean. It was real close to crocker park. Very safe area. The breakfast was good. The hotel staff was so friendly. We were sad to leave. We will definitely stay there again!

This place is on the plus side of adequate. So far (2 out of 4 nights) the desk staff has been helpful and courteous. The room is nice, but for the money is smaller than we're used to, with no fridge or microwave. But very clean and in good shape. We're here to visit family so as I said, it's not luxurious, but is more than adequate.

Older Hampton. Nice staff but rooms and hotel smelly. There is absolutely no Hampton sign on the outside of the building and it’s tucked back from the road. Also be sure to check out the newer Hyatt Place on Crocker by the Cheesecake Factory.

Staff was great. King sized bed was comfy af.

Clean, nothing wrong with the room. Staff polite. They have many hygiene items available at the front desk if you forgot something. They even have a little sign in the room that says you should ask. Unless it is a tampon. Then they don't have it. IMO that is not acceptable.

Room was very good They gave hot complimentary breakfast which is also very good. They should however get small refrigerators in the rooms, t he ebice offered onveach floor did not cut it.

For what we paid it was exceptional. Great breakfast and staff was all so extremely nice.

Very nice place to stay when we visit family. Front desk employees are friendly and the breakfast that is prepared by Chrissy is amazing! She does a great job and makes you feel right at home! Hats off to her!

Hotel was very impressive. Rooms were very clean and very spacious. Only real complaint is that rooms weren't very soundproof because of the suite doors and the breakfast was very disappointing. Otherwise, very good experience.

This is our home away from home when we visit family in Cleveland. It's welcoming, clean, comfortable and quiet. Within walking distance, we enjoy Crocker Park.

Staff was friendly and the room was nice and clean. Room was quiet and we did not have any problems. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is in a good location for people traveling on I 90. It's also close to a lot of retail stores and restaurants, but be aware there is a lot of traffic in the area. We stayed two nights in a good sized room with a king bed for $82 per night which was the AARP rate. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom sink area was small but acceptable for 2 people. For a short term stay at this price and for the location I would stay there again.

The room is fairly small, relatively old. The window overlooks the parking lot, which means leaving it open/unshaded isn't really an option. Found a dirty washcloth in the bathroom. The bathroom is a bit small as well. Service at the front desk was amazing. The breakfast looks good. The lobby is nice, clean, neat.

Check in was great. Very simple and pleasant. Rooms are very nice. There is no included refrigerator in my king room, but it wasn't needed or asked for. Bathrooms and clean and up to date. Room layout is great. If I were in the area I would definitely stay here again.

The staff is always nice and even though we're there for a work meeting they never mind if I take a cookie or some coffee or even tea. The place is always clean and aesthetically pleasing. No complaints I love when we join meetings there for Mary Kay.

My husband and I stayed here on Tuesday (7/25/17). Our room was very nice and clean with a few minor dust issues. The top of the headboard was dusty, the lamp shades were dusty and the hvac unit had cobwebs on each side of it. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. We had a side door which we used to go in and out of. That door was very dirty, the glass had a ton of smudges & finger prints all over it. Great location and we would stay again.

Suite was excellent. Clean environment, clean linens, friendly staff. Bed was a little unstable and it was due to extra soft mattress. Breakfast was having limited and unhealthy choice. Also there was almost nothing for vegetarians/vegans except potatoes. A little overpriced suites.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing to look at. There was a hot and cold breakfast bar in the morning and lots of complimentary items, such a makeup wipe in the bathroom, and cookies by the front desk. Great place to stay.

I've stayed here several times over the last couple years, the rooms are okay. A majority of the rooms do not have refrigerators and are rather small. On my most recent visit I had to call maintenance twice, once to replace my TV then another time to fix a plugged showerhead. There are nicer hotels in the area for less money. On the plus side, the continental breakfast is very good here, nice quality and variety of food.

Need a swimming pool but overall rooms are clean nice location of the Detroit Avenue I would suggest this to all my friends that the Hampton there's a nice place to stay the continental breakfast is very good well cooked everybody's friendly the good view convenient to various locations of the eateries and grills easy access to the interstate I would recommend it to anybody.

Whenever we come to Cleveland we always stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. However, it's the staff that makes the difference. They are the nicest and kindest! They treat you like your a VIP!

The beds are hard and the pillows where to flat. Then the breakfast… well let's just say I have had better. For how much money I paid I expected better. But the staff was friendly and respectable.

Exceptional hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculate. Their continental breakfast was, by far, the best that we've had at any hotel. The breakfast hostess was very sweet and made sure we were pleased and had everything we needed. Very pleased with our stay!

The hotel is comfortable but starting to show it's age. Most rooms do not have refrigerators and the walls are rather thin. There are better hotel offerings in the area for less money. I stay at the Hampton Westlake when my first couple of choices are full.

In town for a wedding so about an hour before rehearsal my sister in law irons her dress and to her horror the iron had something melted to the bottom of it that instantly transferred to her garment. Luckily we had a spare. The hotel stepped up immediately replacing the iron and sending the dress to a local cleaner on rush. Throughout our stay it seemed like we needed something constantly; hairspray, febreeze, etc, etc. The staff was always immediate with their response and enthusiastic about helping. I probably stay over 60 nights a year in Hilton properties on business travel and having a location really step up when I'm staying on leisure reinforces why I choose this brand. Thanks Hampton Westlake for a successful weekend!

Great hotel stay and a nice price for it. I felt lile this was a step up from Best Western and La Quinta but for a similar price point.

Great location right next to crocker park. Clean rooms, good breakfast.

We've had a nice comfortable stay. The mattress could be firmer but the room is clean and quiet. Breakfast was nice as was the staff.

Absolutely the worst Hampton Inn I've ever stayed in! Hotel is old and stale, there has been an attempt to update this hotel at some point, but someone dropped the ball and held to tight to the purse strings. I always stay in Hilton hotel's because they are usually always clean but this one is terrible, The sink in my room drains slow so I removed the plunder and you can see what I found in the pic, but if you can't it's full of hair and soap scum. I won't go into everything else that's wrong with this hotel but Hilton should sell this one ASAP! I for one would not have stayed if not for the Hilton name.

Room is very nice and clean. Front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Great location for dining and shopping.

Everything was great until they charged my card $20. This would have been fine had they notified me at checkout but I only found out when I got a notification.

I stayed here in 2011. I had a good night's sleep, the room was clean, and the staff was polite.

I liked the furnishings of the room, service was good. It was exactly what you'd expect from a hotel.

Rooms was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was on oar with what you'd expect from a Hampton Inn. Close to Crocker Park shopping/dining as well. I'll stay here again when I'm back in Ohio.
