Reviews of Radisson Hotel Duluth-Harborview 3*
I travel 9 months of each year, and I have never encountered such a condescending front desk associate! We chose the Radisson Duluth-Harborview because it is the recommended hotel for a trade show we are exhibiting at. I booked for 7 nights and was told upon check in that housekeeping is only available every 5 days, (all printed material says 3) but if we needed anything, to just request it at the front desk. On day 6, after a very long day at work, and no housekeeping having been in my room, asked for 2 bottles of water. The front desk lady asked me a few times if we’d “already drank the 2 complimentary bottles of water” that were in our room upon arrival. I told her that we had, but we’d already been there 5 nights and that we had run out of our own bottled water that we arrived with. She then told me that I could have the tap water and that “most hotels charge for water. ” She flippantly pointed at a water urn at the lobby coffee station, which hadn’t been wiped down and was gross. She was extremely condescending, snide, and actually seemed angry because I couldn’t understand why we couldn’t have 2 bottles of water. It was incredibly offensive. So offensive that I have cancelled my room for tomorrow night. I rarely leave poor reviews, I prefer to go to the manager if there is a problem, as I run a travel company myself, and appreciate the opportunity to make things right, if ever I have a dissatisfied guest. This lady takes the cake though!
Celebrated my girlfriends birthday with a nice steak dinner, she had the ribeye steak medium rare and a few drinks from the bar, and I had the filet mignon medium well done with a nice cold pink lemonade. The atmosphere was pleasant. We both recommend the steaks.

By far, the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. First of all, the place is filthy. No housekeeping unless you stay for 5+ days. We had hair in our tub on arrival and they never sent anyone up to clean it. Our AC unit was broken. We asked for a cot for the room and they literally just left it right in the door way. Made us set it up ourselves. Zero hospitality. But here’s the kicker — the washrooms. There is absolutely zero slip protection. No bath mat. No grip strips. No handle bars. My mother slipped and fell in the tub and hit her head off the tub resulting in a hospital visit. We are from out of town — so I had to run down to the front desk and ask where the nearest hospital was. The general manager — told me where they were and seemed to show very little concern. I told him my mother slipped and fell in the tub and all he said was — ok. What do you need from us? I asked him to write down the names of the hospital and for towels — since my mother was literally bleeding everywhere. He then said “good luck” as I ran back to the room to get my mom. He Showed very little compassion and said to my mother that no one has ever asked for a bath mat before. I’m sorry — but what type of empathy, hospitality, or compassion is that? My mother also asked for an incident report to be done and he said he didn’t need to do one — however — my mother insisted. She watched him write the report, but also has a concussion anf stitches in the back of her head and forgot to ask for it.
