The people were friendly and helpful. Vanessa was awesome at the front desk and hooked us up. The bar was easy and bartenders were on top of it. All good here.

Overpriced food, recommend Happy cafe or San Pedro Brewing and they’re easy walking distance. Internet was spotty! Hotel Checked us out of our room super early I couldn’t use my room key about 6 am after leaving gym on checkout day. Older hotel. Fair price and nice location to walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. Next to cruise port.

Great place for business and close to Harbor "Great hotel, spacious rooms and very friendly staff” The beds are very comfortable and the views executive lounge is absolutely gorgeous. The Crowne Plaza Los Angeles Harbor Hotel has a large outdoor pool and hot tub on second floor with ample seating and views to the Harbor! The place is centrally located to very close to Harbor make battle location for business. We love their several food and beverage options.
We really enjoyed it and highly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly staff, good food.

Not a good place to stay. The first night we had a plumbing issue and the air conditioning was loud and not putting out cool air. I called in the morning. They said it would be fixed. My husband fixed the drain and the air did not appear to have been touched. So a 2nd night without air. No fresh towels. No cleaning of the room. We are on night 3. We had left air on to possibly build up cool air. Room stunk of a chemical smell. A/c still loud. Also plan on paying over $16.00 per night for parking! Is this Manhatten or San Pedro? Does this sound like somewhere you would like to stay?

I have stayed at many hotels but this one is the best so far!
I booked online through a 3rd party site and got misinformation about the room. So after 2 days on the car with little kids I was not ready to get to a room with only 1 bed!
However the front desk was ready for anything and without any issue they got me a room with space for all of us and it only took 5 minutes!
I will definitely be coming back here when we are in the area.
Any hotel can get nice things, but its hard to find a hotel with incredible staff as well.

Clean and spacious suite with king bed. Got everything we need for a comfortable pre cruise stay, including a refrigerator for hubby's eye drops. Had an excellent meal in restaurant on site, a bit more expensive for burger and sandwiches.

We really enjoyed are stay friendly staff very clean nice room and pool The Restaurant and Bar were wonderful. Hope to stay here again sometime in the near future.

The hotel is so close to the harbor, museums and other attractions. I only have the one picture on my phone, taken from my room on the sixth floor. Very comfy bed, soft water & soft towels await. Staff is helpful & friendly.

Held our ShellCon infosec conference there in 2018, and will again on Oct 11-12 in 2019. It is a laid back venue and they gave us great service.

We enjoyed are over night stay. The happy hour wings were hot and so good. Just love it! We get on the ship soon and sail away for a week.

A broken down, dirty mess, with a counter staff that were unresponsive! Close to the cruise port, but not worth it for the grunge… not staying here again!

The main let down was the bar which closes at 10.30pm. Makes you feel privelaged to beg for a drink. I thought as a resident I would not be treated like a naughty child and put to bed early. You have a captive audience which you do not utalise. When asked the barman said he did not have the footfall which was true as he sent them all away. Scandalous this day and age.

Great hotel beautifully remodeled. I happened to get a handicapped room. Although I didn't need it. If I had I would have certainly appreciated how well the shower was set up for someone who did. Staff was great and very professional.

I don’t know how this is a 3.5 star hotel according to Hotwire. We booked a room with 2 double beds and mind you, they were comfortable for sure but I had an issue with the service. Our bathtub was clogged the whole time we were there (3 nights). We told the front desk the next morning because we arrived at the hotel extremely late and we were tired. We told them the next day in the morning before we went out. They told us that they would fix it and nothing happened when we returned later that afternoon. Again, we told them and they said they’d send someone to fix it. So they did, but at the end it wasn’t really fixed. We basically had a clogged bathtub for 3 people which was extremely disgusting. Definitely not as pretty as advertised.

Great location with shops and restaurants walking distance. We had a nice view of the ocean, the linen and bedding were very comfortable. The facility has a roof top pool on the second floor; a gift shop and restaurant on the first floor. Upon check-in, we were given a voucher for a complimentary breakfast buffet. They were a short staffed with only one valet to park cars and the same guy to bring in for luggage. The restaurant did not have a hostess, the guy serving water and coffee had to do both jobs. Be prepared to wait to be seated and to get your car. Hopefully, they will hire more employees.

I really like this hotel! I am very picky about which hotel to stay in. The room and bathroom are clean. I received a text message from the front desk making sure that my room is to my satisfaction. I requested a sheet amd blanket for the let out sofa in the room and it did not take long for me to receive them. Satisfied customer!

Just checked in. Hotel looks like it is in shambles due to renovations, which is understandable. Unfriendly check-in staff. Once we found our room, a king suite that I thought, and VERIFIED after booking, was a two-room suite, turned out to be one room. The room is nice and modern, but the whole reason I chose the 'suite' was because we have our toddler with us and we would set him up to sleep in the separate room. When I called the front desk and very politely mentioned and inquired that I had thought we were in a 2-room suite. Jamie (female) at the front desk was NOT helpful and extremely rude. She informed me that they only have one King room like that in the hotel and that it was booked. Ok, understood, so I asked if they had any queen suites or any other rooms with two different areas to which she snapped: "Like I said, we only have one room like that and it was booked. " Very unimpressed with the staff here.

It was a nice Hotel close to the Port of Los Angeles nice comfortable bed the only reason I’m not rating it a five star is because our room didn’t smell as fresh as it should have.

First time at the hotel. It didn't make it worse in the States. Dirt is everywhere. Everything needs to be repaired.

Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Rooms and hotel in general is very clean. 3 stars because only 1 elevator was operational during entire 3 night stay and because this place is in need of an overhaul. Several outlets in room were not working, touch up repairs needed. You should also be able to order movies and view bill on room TV, in a hotel this size and we didn't seem to have that option. Because of staff, cleanliness and room comfort, I wouldn't mind staying here again!

I believe they have just remodeled. The rooms look great and the beds are comfortable. The indoor pool is huge. There is a restaurant inside the hotel that I hear is very good. They provide shuttle service to the airport.

Was not impressed. We had booked 2 poolside rooms weeks ahead of time online. When we got there, the rooms they gave us were on opposite ends of the pool. The room my daughter and family stayed in had a note on the TV saying it had been repaired, but when they tried to use it, it did not work. Then when we got the bill after our stay, it was about $100 more than what the online confirmation was. When I went to checkout and explained it, they said only a manager could fix and nope manager was there until the next day, but he would call. 2 days later, still no call so we had to call them to get it straightened out. So… I was not impressed.

Sorry but this place needs some work but the staff is friendly. They were down to one elevator from four. The air-conditioning didn't work well in several places in the building. There restaurant needs more choices. It's at least close to several good restaurants. My over all experience was good. The location was convenient for the tour's we went on. I appreciate the hotel writing back. I have no plans to return to the area at this time. Thank. You.

This was the nicest hotel I've stayed at in a long time! I've been all over the USA! The hotel is being updated and its incredibly nice and modern. I plan to stay here in the future.

Met some friends here for drinks and dinner. The service was just okay in the bar as we sat out on the patio and there was only one server working the night we visited. Dinner in the restaurant was good and our server was very attentive. The Club Sandwich was excellent and reasonably priced. My only major complaint was that no one was at the valet stand and after waiting 10 mins, we ended up having to park on the street. I'm a Platinum Marriott Rewards Member and I was a bit disappointed as customer service at most Marriott properties is usually 5 star, so I expected better.

Location is super convenient because it is right off the interstate. The rooms are Immaculate, I especially like the laminate / tile floor rather than the carpet. All of the staff were friendly, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Older but nice enough They were doing some work so there was a bit of that. One suggestion is that they do a better job of keeping the hot tub clean. Really comfortable bed!

Great service. Was beyond impressed with the staff. Can not say enough good things about the staff! The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were excellent. The shuttle service was also excellent. We were able to get to the mall of America and airport no problem.

Very nice hotel. Currently being renovated, but not super noisey or noticable. Our room has clearly been updated and was very nice, modern and comfortable. Location is great and close to shopping and downtown. Seems like most places are only 15-20 minutes away. Very happy with our stay.

Overall I'm very pleased with this place. The pool area was great. It's located in a great location. Just a few miles from MOA. Great restaurants & coffee shops in the area. I'll definitely be staying here again.

My stay was ok room was nice would have liked it better if had a microwave in it and it was rather loud at night cause of 2 buses full of military stayed that week I was there.

Great convention space. The hotel was pretty empty during my stay. Rooms were adequate but the walls are thin. Could here next door guests and outside my room easily. Not much of a view on my side of hotel. Pool, gym, store restaurant all good. There is a battle ship Iowa docked where you can tour but no shopping or other activities close by. Some other restaurants around the area but haven't tried. Staff was fine no complaints with housekeeping. Over a good stay. I stayed here for business.

At first the hotel looked nice and clean. After a couple of days staying there, my kids and I started noticing itchy bites on us. We thought at first it was probably just mosquito bites. They kept getting worse. I started looking up bed bugs, and our bites match the pictures perfectly. We now are covered in bed bug bites. I called the hotel and asked to speak to the manager. I was told one would be calling me back. I have yet to hear from them. We checked in on 4.4.18 and checked out 4.10.18. Rooms 403 and 405.

This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. They also have an amazing, and huge pool and hot tub. The rooms are clean, decorated beautifully, and very modern and updated. This hotel is very luxurious and worth every cent I paid. Will definitely stay there again.

One of the worst experiences ever. The walls are so paper thin you can hear a chip bag being opened in the next room and every word spoken and hear the tv. Never had this experience at a hotel before. Looks nice but not quality. Very dissatisfied.

It was very good experience, somewhat uncomfortable the fact that the ice machine is on every two floors. The elevator sometimes gets stuck and it's hard to make it go to the desired floor. Out of there, nice room, very clean.

They're under construction, so take that into consideration when booking. The room was not worth the price, considering construction and remodeling. My room's window was cracked, with tape put across the cracks. The wallpaper is peeling, which I'm sure will be replaced with the remodel. The elevators are extremely slow, I waited over 5 minutes at one point. There's 3 elevators and not many floors, so it's not that they're busy, they're just actually very slow. The staff is friendly. That's the only positive thing I have to say about my stay. The shower wasn't cleaned well, and I found someone else's hair on my linens. I'm sure it was just the maid's, but I still don't want to find hair that isn't mine.

The location was lovely and quiet which is the ONLY reason why they have 3 stars BUT the hotel itself was dirty, under construction and smelled weird. The hotel staff was not very friendly or informative, they couldn't even tell me how to use the parking key. At the end of my stay they tried to charge me a daily rate for parking and I didn't even park in the lot because I didn't know how! Oh yea another downside, you have to pay for parking which they have none! AND they share a parking lot with a car rental company. I'm not putting off ALL crowne plazas, just this one. Don't waste your time.

My husband and I stayed here on a Saturday night while we were in the cities. We had probably gone to 5 other hotels with no luck because everyone was booked! : (finally we found this one and were immediately impressed. There is a beautiful modern fireplace in the lobby area and the pool is very big! We only had one complaint and that was that our air conditioning/ heating unit was not working and so it was chilly! We told the man at the front desk and he gave us a fair percentage off our bill! I would stay here again!

I stay frequently. Better than most other local options. Getting a little long in the tooth and in need of renovation. It's nice that there's a restaurant and bar on sight.

Nor normally a Crowne fan, but this one was great. Easy access to critical businesses, clean, and the staff was Minnesota-nice 100% of the time. The bar is fair, but the pool and conference facilities were great. I completely recommend this for business travelers.

Normally I would give this a 5. But it's under construction and when you normally get a good room and yours is cold and the farthest from the elevator when your profile says not to do that. They are leaving IHG for Marriott. But if this is how they are handling transition for frequent guests, I'll go back to Starwood.

Not sure why there are negative reviews. Maria checked us in early and was very helpful. Room is great. Only lacking a microwave but one is available for a fee. A. C. Worked great. Bed comfortable. Lots of bathroom amenities. Haven't tried the restaurant yet. Will return again.

Overall the hotel is nice and has a great pool. It was under renovation during my recent stay and was not given the room type I reserved because that type no longer exists. The hotel staff was accommodating.

Give 3 stars as this hotel is really nice. Unfortunately I had to ask for certain things at different times and was told it would be handled. Unfortunately it wasn't. Had to keep following up until needs were met.

The room does NOT have carpeted floors. The card reader outside the building is broken with no sign and a maintenance person had to let me in and tell me it was broken. The room is clean but the air is extremely dry. Internet service is decent speed though.

I cannot begin to explain how blessed I am by the front desk at this hotel! Their customer service is above and beyond anything I have ever experienced at a hotel. I booked our stay through an outside company and I mistakingly booked it for the wrong dates. Completely my fault. When I arrived and was checking in they informed me that my reservation was for the following week. While I was in their lobby trying to get a hold of the third-party reservation company, they were so kind, so patient, and so generous with my children. I am so pleased with how accommodating they have been. They recognized that I needed some space with my children (ages 4 and 7 months) so while we figure this whole mess out, they checked me into a room so I can work this out comfortably. THANK YOU so much to Rhyne and the sweet lady working with her so hard at figuring this out with me. I appreciate you and will absolutely be staying here again!

Very nice. Nice evening bell hop/parking. Underground self parking on the back side. Elevators use hotel room "key. " My room really heated up in the daytime when I pulled open the curtains. Self contained A. C. /Heater unit. Sadly, the pool was closed, but it looked pretty.

It seems like this place was nice at one point. And then no one bothered to update it after that. As soon as we walked in, the fire alarm went off and not one employee even batted an eye. We asked later and they said it was a false alarm, but it didn't seem like they ever checked. The beds were decent enough, but there was a small bug in the room, so it didn't feel as clean as most hotel rooms do. Then the next morning at breakfast there were tons of gnats on all the buffet food that wasn't covered. Though, to be fair, the spread was varied and the food did taste good. Just make sure to grab the fresh stuff as soon as it comes out. Also, the elevator was clunky, the vending machines only took cash, and the hotel restaurant staff was inattentive. If you only need one night and get a good deal, not the worst hotel but I'm sure you could find much better.

Hotel all right, outwardly and pool moderately out of date. But breakfast gets a lot out again.

Outdated sweat box. They have no virtually no air conditioning. The hallways were 90 degrees. Their response was to open the windows to the 100 degree outside. The room c1970 air conditioners haven’t been updated since they installed and simply don’t work. Had to change rooms twice to find one that came close to working. They are “green” which means they turn off the air conditioners in the rooms so when you get in them it’s too late for the crappy ac units to cool them down. Manager was indifferent. Obviously this is a common complaint if you look at all the reviews. If you actually need sleep when you go to a hotel then go somewhere else. If you want to pay $150 to sweat in bed, then this is the unmaintained sauna box for you.

Great staff. Easy check in. Great pool. Clean room. Great set up. First hotel with actual bags in garbage cans. Only thing is I stayed two nights. Asked for my bed linens to be changed. But it wasnt. And yes, I do know for sure. Also requested for some items at the front desk (over the phone). Waited 30 min and the items never arrived. But I had to leave so I left n never recieved the items.

Amazing service, they clean everything when your out of the room and restock everything. It's just amazing.

Stayed three nights in business and was pleased with the room. Bed was comfortable and view from the 6th floor was nice. Will be back in Bloomington next month and will stay here again.

My family enjoyed an extended vacation here and were pleased with the hotel room and pool. The kids enjoyed the resturant attached to the hotel, just note the breakfast buffet doesn’t state there is a limit on orange juice. We asked for a second glass and got a scowl from the waitress saying they used to charge for the second 4 ounce glass. Other than that he hotel is close to the highway and in a great place to be able to visit the cities!

I'm really not a very picky person, but what a dive. Ice machines are on only half the floors and half of them don't work. Worn out everything. I think I counted at least six "out of order" signs on various items. On one elevator no buttons work at all. Plan on having to swipe your key card 10 times before your door will unlock. No staff in sight. Although I did get help from "Gregory" when he saw me frustrated about ice. Looks like management stopped caring about 10 years ago.

Very expensive hotel very close to cruise ships. However, bad experience. Air conditioning in rooms doesn't work welk. Everyone complaining. Hall ways have no air conditioning at all. Bathroom sink dis not drain at all. Toilet had to hold down handle extensively to even get it to swirl and still never flushed. Pulled aside bedspread and there was SAND on my sheets at 11 pm. Ugh. Gross. Left over from prior visitor? Not sure but nasty.

Decent location if you hired a car. The hotel is nice enough if a little tired looking in places. The staff are very nice, and the pool area is very pleasant.

The hotel was great atmosphere… Rooms were delightful… customer service were good, but the receptionist did not know there area or sure rounding to give out of town guest subjection on were to eat other than the regular resturants.

It looks nice from the outside and in the lobby… but it stops there. The parking garage is scary. The elevators are creaky, some buttons don't work and the floors are cracked. The rooms themselves are comfortable… but there are minor details that could easily be fixed that would greatly improve the overall look at feel of the place.

Stay (arrived) Fri/09-08-2017 through Sun/09-10-2017 (checked out Mon/09-11-2017). Simple maintenance and or repairs have quite obviously been neglected for a long time. Example: Ninth floor smelled dirty, musty, funky, unclean — as soon as I stepped off the elevator the smell hit me. Room entry door was loose in the frame and required heavy-handed pulling/pushing to close the door completely in order to lock it securely. There was no spring loaded toilet paper roll cylinder. Housekeeping kept placing the roll of toilet paper on the top of the toilet tank. The first time I used the toilet it took me a few minutes to find the toilet paper. The brackets that the cylinder fits into was in tact. All that had to be done was to place a cylinder in that bracket. The hot water control handle in the bathroom sink did not turn the water off. I had to back up from what should have been the off position to find a position where the hot water would drip only but would not run in a solid and continuous stream. Pillows had more air than actual filling material in them. It took four (4) pillows to provide enough head and neck support to sleep comfortably. The refrigerator door had shelf railings missing which resulted in items falling off shelves and onto the room floor whenever I opened the fridge door. I was very disappointed since no Crowne Hotel I've ever been a guest at presented me with such poor conditions.

Had a business trip for a few days. Service was great! Bar and restaurant had great food and the employees were very nice.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Bloomington with my husband and his parents. Luckily the room we were given was close to the elevator and exits because my mother in law is limited in how far she can walk. The room was nice and clean. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel to the Mall of America was perfect. It maybe took a 5 minute drive to get to the mall, but they also have a shuttle service if you don't have a vehicle. I would stay there again.

Stayed for two nights, and it was alright for the price, but it could have been much better. It feels like it was a four-star hotel, but maybe ten years ago. My room smelled faintly of cigarettes. The pillows were a little worn. The toilet handle wouldn't return to a neutral position on its own. The Wi-Fi was terrible; mobile data was better. The tub was a little dirty. And the towels looked like they could have been cleaner. Room service was offered, but the room book didn't include the full menu. Passable and better than a motel, but not somewhere I'd stay again.

The room was nice and clean. Reception was super friendly and the shuttle drivers were prompt! I would stay there again.

I have stayed here several times when I've been here for work. It's a really nice place, I wouldn't come back if it wasn't. There are plenty of options in the area. The staff is always helpful and the amenities are great.

The hotel itself was very comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. The corporate customer service was HORRIBLE! We had added on an extra night in a separate reservation, in case my conference ran late. We were pre-charged for the reservation and unable to cancel! I called 36 hours in advance, and was told the reservation was unable to be cancelled after the confirmation email was sent. Couldn't even move it to another Crowne Plaza hotel at another location! WILL NOT BE STAYING AGAIN!

I was in a first floor room (109). The window had a thin curtain I could see through, I'm assuming someone on the outside could see in. I couldn't find an opaque curtain to solve my problem. The room was located adjacent to the parking lot, so I dealt with the lights of the parking lot all night. There were noisy guests in the hall until 12pm, no I didn't call to complain. Aside from that everything else was fine.

The lobby is nice and glitzy but our room and rest of the hotel was a bit basic. Employees were friendly I'll give you that! Shower drain was a bit clogged and would fill with water during a shower. You have to pay for parking and we could barely get a spot anywhere. Also, all the shops and places to eat around the hotel are very weird, small, old, creepy. Overall it was a decent stay but not sure if we will return next time around.

Business travelers love this hotel. The barkeep is a delight and the food at the restaurant is solid. The rooms are serviceable and spacious. Do not get s poolside room unless you have children, don't mind their noise, and enjoy the smell of chlorine.

Wonderful hotel! We stayed one night and left our car while on a cruise. The front desk personnel are exceptional! We had come off a three hour traffic jam on the Grape vine due to an accident. They offered us a free drink and upgraded our room for an incredibly restful night's sleep. They took us to the ship and picked us up promptly when we returned. Our car was safe and protected. Can't say enough about the wnderful lady who assisted us at the front desk.

We had a wonderful stay. We were given a beautiful two-room suite with a view of the harbor with our Park and Sail package. Good food in the restaurant and very helpful staff! I would recommend staying there.

It was a good stay. No issues checking in. I didn't had to pay for parking. I was able to drop off my luggage very early since I had plans later that day and wasn't able to check in early. The only issue I had was the vault and I couldn't reheat my leftovers. The vault kept on giving me an error. So the next day before we left for our plans I wrote on the piece of paper if they can fix it. I came back to see that the vault was not fixed and the sheet of paper not there anymore. When I wanted to reheat my leftovers I couldn't. I asked the front desk to see where I can reheat my food and they said that they can send one up for 15 dollars. I might as well buy a new meal with 15 dollars. Overall good stay just 2 issues. Ok neighborhood and great pool. We liked the view from where we stayed.

Very accommodating. 5th floor (and maybe 6th) are dedicated quiet floors, which is great! Sai the bartender and the hotel bar is a lot of fun!

The staff in all areas were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. There is also a bar and restaurant in the lobby.

It was great. Staff was friendly and hotel rooms were clean. Breakfast in the morning was good and run very well by the staff. Pretty much a normal hotel experience but just better at everything.

I would have gave my stay five stars except for the fact the elevator from the underground parking to the lobby was out of order. So they wired open self closing fire doors for guest to use instead… Violation of NFC and IFC.

Clean spacious lobby, tons of parking (free, too — which is rare for airport hotels), and very nice rooms. There's a big pool area that's nice if you want it, but if you want quiet, just ask for a room away from the pool (which there are tons of). Really enjoyed my stay here, and I'll come back next time I'm in town.

The hotel is mordern and up to date, beds and cleanliness are fine. But my entire stay my keycard was deactivating. They said it was becaise it was by my phone or wallet but ut was in my back pocket alone the whole time! Could not get into the room with out stopping at the front desk for a new card. Also, they used to have breakfast included and now they supposidly do not serve it anymore. Completely disappointed. Hotals ALWAYS have breakfast. Its the cheapest thing to provide. They want you to by breakfast like any other meal in the sit down restaurant. I here you pay extra to include it but I was not told that when I booked! I didnt even know till I went to eat what was going on because there was no communication that it had change and no offer made to include it with my stay. My fire alarm battery died in my room when I showed up. One of the cleaning staff was dropping off our mini fridge and I asked about gettinf it fixed cause it was beeping nonstop. The man smile and shook his head "I dont know" and walked away. I then tried to call service and was put on hold for 12 minutes, I hung up and went to the desk, and they werent even busy! Looks nice and is comfortable but only stay here if you want to motel experienced service.

First this looks recently remodeled, and it looks great. The rooms were clean and the staff very nice. The reason I have it 3 stars, and I thought of giving it 2, is how they charge for everything. First I booked through a third party website. They said it would cost a certain amount, when we checked in, it charged me $35 extra. I went back to the counter and they said that was for a deposit. I have stayed at many hotels and have never had that. But the worst is that they did not notify me. I had to find out on my own. So they basically charge for things in your room when you use them. I wouldn't recommend using the things in their rooms, like the Fiji water, or they might charge you. The worst part is their breakfast. It looked like a nice breakfast buffet, for a hotel. We started to get food because no server was around. When we sat down a server asked if we wanted it charged to the room. Come to find out, the breakfast is $14 a person! That is outrageous! Or you could get just the cold stuff for $9. Never once did they say breakfast want included, just that it stated and ended at certain times. So the room was good, just beware if the extra charges.

These pictures are outdated, they have completely renovated this place and it looks amazing! Edgy and modern and the rooms are way better than this shows. The staff was great and valet was 10 bucks for all day. This hotel was close to everything, a free aquarium along the beach cool shops breweries, my husband and daughter had plenty to do. Also they have babysitting. We were loved every minute. We had my husbands clothes dry cleaned for 50 bucks with same day return. You will like everyone it is swear. It has a charming small community feel with a big city feel.

The room was nicely updated with a tile shower. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks at the lounge were a bit more pricey than I would have liked ($12 for a small signature cocktail). The open firepit was nice but I won't be going back there.

The FOOD was to die for! I stayed there for a week, everything on that menu is exquisite. Truly recommend everyone to come to a dive into fruitful magic. Thank you cooks for all the amazing home feel meals…

Check in time is fast with nice rooms and a nice bathrooms. Very clean. Good size room but the bathroom is a little small tho. There is a bar downstairs. The best part about this hotel is the pool and hot tub they are huge compared to most hotels.

It was nice, you could just feel that we were in a low quality room. The doorknob located on our bathrook door was loose and moving off its hinge, there qas also writing on the mirror I assumed left from other guests stating "help me" with a hamd print that matched none of my families. I slept well, but it didnt convey whole royalty feel tha Most hotels give out in this day and age.

Reasonable rates. Great location. Staff was very nice and easygoing and accommodating. The pool and hot tub area was roomy and clean. The kids enjoyed every minute. Will recommend this place to anyone! Thanks Crown Plaza Bloomington.

Staff was very friendly and always available. Rooms were very clean and were newly remodeled with modern decor. Had a roll out bed for our toddler at no extra charge. Hotel is in a great location and this will definitely be our go to hotel to stay in when we are in town.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to San Pedro or universal studios. I tend to travel quite a bit and with a wife who used to be a manager of a cleaning service it is always interesting to see if a hotel passes her clean test. This was by far the cleanest room we have stayed in in a long time. Bed was comfortable and the manager was very nice and personable. I will defiantly be staying here again I'm the future.

Room was comfortable and up to date. Whats up with the ice machine not on all floors. Felt like I was in the wis dell's with the ice machines I'n the parking lot.

The hotel is located close to the Mall of America. They offer free shuttle service. The room was nice, clean, with updated features. Though I did not use it, the pool looked nice and there's also a hot tub. There's a restaurant right off the lobby. All in all very satisfied with this hotel.

Pretty disappointed. Their website says free parking and airport shuttle but when we get there they said they no longer offer it. Unfortunately that was the main reason we booked there.

The stay was spectacular. Reasonably priced room with a great free upgrade to a huge suite with a jacuzzi and king bed. It was a great time and will be staying there again as soon as we are able.

Location was fantastic, the hotel was beautiful. The pool and hot tub area was so much fun, plenty of room for lots of people. The bar/ restaurant was really great, service was spot on! The front desk staff was amazing, friendly, fun when you needed something. They were available when you needed anything. The room was a bit small for 4 of us, the beds mint need to be replaced. Otherwise a great stay!

OK rooms. Service could be better. Had an issue with hairdryer and had to call multiple times until they replaced it. Parking is also horrible. Not too many spots and are very tight.

Older decor but friendly staff. Clean room nice patio overlooking pool area room could use a update though. Blu is the hotel restaurant. … nice atmosphere food was just okay… I had calamari appetizers nicely seasoned not over cooked then short rib flatbread … it was not hot barely warm even on a plate the server said was hot.

Rooms were clean and quiet… Service was courteous and efficient.

The location and amenities this hotel has available is very convenient. The rooms are very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this location to all business travelers.

Stayed one night before a cruise. Room was dated and worn. Plumbing problem in the morning with a toilet that overflowed. Staff was ok and the bar was nice. Parking was just as expensive as the cruise terminal with a additional shuttle charge. Close to San Pedro brewery which was the only upside. Will still somewhere else if we do it again.

My room was great. We had a king bed and a sofa with microwave and fridge for $65/night. The room and hotel overall was clean. The only negative is that there is nothing around here to do unless you are going to the mall or airport.

Really upset with how the hotel manager handles certain situations. His whole business is hospitality, let's work on those communication skills.

This is the best San Pedro we have stayed at so far in the USA! The rooms are brand new, the staff is so friendly and accomodating and they are PET FRIENDLY! We appreciate clean rooms and great service and are LOYAL La Quinta guests, but this location is exceptional! Great value and great location.

Great hotel, staff was extremely helpful, the rooms were nice and clean and the pool area was definitely a fun place to be.

I booked this on Priceline so I got it for 50 a night. Thank God, because if I would have paid full price I would have been livid. No refrigerator, no microwave, walls are paper thin and random people walking down the hallway woke me up several times in the middle of the night because of it. The only redeeming quality was the free parking and free Wi-Fi. 10 for breakfast buffet? Absolutely ridiculous. Do yourselves a favor and stay somewhere else if you expect perks, but like I said, for 50 a night, it was perfectly priced.

The quality of this hotel is in comparison of a sketchy motel on the side of an intersection. After receiving the key to our rooms, we walked to find our room doors wide open without the lights turned on. The bathroom was disgusting. There was old toothpaste from the previous room-renters still on the faucets that were obviously uncleaned. We had to use tissues to turn on the faucets. The bathroom floor was sticky and there was an odd smell to the room. We could obviously see that there were cob webs on the lame shades that ran up to the ceilings. The pool and the hot tub seemed to be contaminated and unsanitary for the water did not look clear and had an odor of algae. The hot tub. My family and friends did not dare to step foot in it. The stay at this hotel was utterly disgusting and unpleasant. I would not recommend the stay of this hotel to anyone, not even if I was desperate. Sleeping in a car seems to be more satisfying.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip. When I saw that they had an all woman's floor with chocolates, a robe, and an aromatherapy kit I was very excited. As a mother of two, I don't travel as much as I used to and I thought I could treat this as a working vacation. Soon after I got here, my hopes and dreams of relaxation were crushed. There is absolutely no way this room was designed with a woman in mind. The bathroom is cold and dark. There is only a shower, no tub. Good luck trying to shave your legs in that thing. I hope you're an expert in yoga if you do attempt it. I had to put on my makeup using my iPhone flash light for extra light. It's not only that dark in the bathroom, it's that dark in the entire room. The "chocolates" was one old, previously frozen chocolate that even Super 8 manages at some of their hotels. The aromatherapy is a sample of a lotion and a cooling gel. It is by far, not the basket they promise. Mini fridges are $10 so don't expect one in your room unless you pay extra. I have a lovely view of. The gym. Also, there is a scale in my room. Because women just love to workout and weigh themselves while on vacation, am I right ladies? DO NOT EAT HERE. Take a $70 cab ($35 each way, trust me on this) somewhere else to eat. Or go to the Mall of America every day via the shuttle because besides the airport that is the ONLY place it goes. What's that, you don't want to visit that tourist trap every day just for food?

Just Married! My wife and I pulled up in a tuxedo and wedding dress right after our wedding and nobody helped up with luggage. I asked if they could help and the guy pointed over to a cart and told me I could use it. We were in the suite too $400 a night. No fridge and no microwave. They have comfy beds and good water pressure tho. I give them 2 stars because service was good in the morning.

I haven' t even been to the hotel yet and disappointed in the customer service. Received a promo from Princess cruises a coupon towards my room. Called on a couple questions and was "this a fly and sail program? " I was put on hold 3 times. Can I have early check in? Hold-" I'll put in the request call an maybe they could do it. 2. Did you offer a complementary breakfast? hold-"not unless you booked the fly and sail program just our restaurant" 3. Last question hold_can I make arrangements to be picked up at the airport-"no only if you have the fly and sail. You'll just have to find a shuttle".

Just came from this hotel last night, very bad hotel to stay at. Everything has $10/night associated with it, you need a double bed instead of single king $10/night, refrigerator $10/night, microwave $10/night, bathrooms were pretty old, chipping paint everywhere, no exhaust, surroundings are pretty average, lots of crime activity right next to the hotel, I saw atleast 4 police cars every night at the corner of the street. Staff was ok, explaining and comparing about rest of the hotels whenever I took some request to them all in all a NO — NO place to stay.

Room is nice and clean with comfy bed. Service is very unfriendly and aloof. Both checking in and checking out. You can stand in line for hours, they won't look up. We waited 45 minutes for a bell man to bring a cart to check out. We finally gave up and got the cart ourselves. Shame on the HR director for these employees. (Yes YOU "Edison". ).

We have been here before five years back for a cruise park program. Just did the same. Wi fi is available and free, no problem with it. Bed is ultra comfortable with great pillows. Heat did not work well in room is my only complaint. Service was fine with easy check in and super staff.

I will start off with the fact that the people I spoke with were very pleasant and this review is not a knock on them, only the hotel. We checked in on Friday with the intent of staying until Tuesday. We didn't realize that the room didn't have a fridge (all of our stays have been at Holiday Inn Expresses until this stay) so we ordered one at $10/stay. Got back from Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant with leftovers and asked if I could use a microwave to heat up the leftovers (no microwave in the room). They would not allow me to use one but I could have one in my room for $10/stay. Coffee? After 9am I can get it in the restaurant. For a charge. Beds? 2 double instead of queen. Toilet was low to the ground. Kids couldn't hook up the X-box because the hotel won't allow you to change inputs. They apparently want you to buy the games online. We ended up checking out on Saturday and checking into a Holiday Inn Express which includes all the things we needed for our 2-week driving vacation. I'm not sure if this is typical of Crown Plaza. If it is, I won't be staying at them any more.

Stayed here for weekend and had a very enjoyable time. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, pool was awesome, and overall a great place to stay. However, when we returned home and were unpacking we found a dead mouse in our luggage! It was in one of our bathroom bags, we packed that bag Friday morning and did not open it until we were at the hotel and it sat on the bathroom counter all weekend. There is no way that it came from anywhere but the hotel. When we contacted the staff to let them know, they were very rude. Did not even apologize, and I think they doubted our story. It was a baby mouse, so I am sure that there are plently more. It is really a shame because the hotel was great and I really enjoyed the stay. The way we were treated by the staff after the fact is the worst customer service I have every had. Also, knowing that I was sleeping in a hotel room for two nights that was infested with mice will probably make staying in any hotel in the future difficult for me.

I had a portable device to hook up to the TV in the room. It turns out that it was locked down, and when I asked for assistance, they said that I wasn't allowed to connect other devices to the tv. That this was for my own benefit. So that I wouldn't break their cables, or my device. This was extremely insulting and unhelpful. They suggested that I watch a movie from their selection for the low low price of (starting at) $4.99. I had an injured ankle for my stay, there was no help with my luggage, and no seating while I waited for the shuttle.
