Rooms are very dirty, obviously not cleaned and bedding definitely not washed between customers.

Made a reservation online a month in advance. Go to check in and are told I don’t have a reservation. I supplied my reservation confirmation and ID only for the worker to have a not my problem attitude. Come to find out they allowed someone else to check into my reservation and there was nothing done about it. Construction workers started early our stay has been horrible. Do not recommend!

Absolutely disgusting. Hypodermic needle caps laying on the floor. Rooms filthy. Sheets dirty. Very unsafe environment. No refund given.

This place was so so so nasty. From the parking lot, to the lobby, to the FILTHY room. DONT waist your money. I left after 2 minutes of getting to our room. The owners should be shamed!

The hotel is very dirty, the manager is rude and they blame everything on covid instead of admitting they run a horrible hotel! don't stay here. Only thing good about it is its location.

Disgusting. We checked in, walked towards our room and then turned around and left. Dirty floors, prostitutes, smoking going on indoors, just gross. Smells gross, looks gross… and we didn’t even make it into the room.

This place is absolutely disgusting. I would love to know which hotel they took the photos from but it sure isn't this one.
The staff seem annoyed with their jobs and inconvenienced.
the smell of cigarettes and weed are so strong it transfers into the rooms (we booked non smoking).
The walls are paper thin and there is loud noises all night long.
The carpets in the halls are filthy. Doors broken, and trash everywhere! people come in and out the broken back door as they don't need a room key.
My first experience with Wyndham and I will never book again! I tried to get my money back on the second night to go to a different hotel but they would not help me.

The jacuzzi near the pool wasn’t working properly and the drinking fountain was a safety hazard because it was spraying water everywhere. The handicap room was not very efficient and it definitely was not accommodating. We will not stay here again!

Stayed there paid a 25$ deposit after paying Priceline, rooms security lock was broken and room was dirty and 4 days later haven’t received my deposit back! avoid!

They changed my card for cleaning and they sell drug from that hotel I will NEVER stay there again rude staff and very unprofessional!

Avoid this place! We booked a room through a booking site and got what I thought was a fantastic deal on a 3-night stay Friday night to Monday morning checkout. The photos on their website and booking sites are lies. Pool and hot tub had scummy stuff all along the top of the water from lack of cleaning, ceiling falling apart in a few places. The carpet in the entire hotel is stained and filthy — spills of crumbs and dirt that we saw appear in the hallways on Saturday were never vacuumed and still there when we checked out on Monday. Same with the elevator, just gross. Several entry doors to rooms were torn up, missing plates that looked just ripped off. Our room had broken drawer handles, mildew in the shower, microwave dirty, a missing towel bar (some of the pieces were screwed into the wall, but no bar), a coffee pot that was missing pieces, tabletops and surfaces covered in smudges and crusty stuff, and sheets with stains and holes. I opened the window to let in some fresh air, expecting it to only open a few inches, and found it opened all the way, with no screen or any kind of locks or safety devices, on the third floor. Saturday morning I made the manager aware of the mildew in the shower, the coffee pot, and the towel bar. I was told, “We’re moving the towel bars. ” Okay? About everything else, she just said, “Thanks for letting us know. ” Returned to our room Saturday evening to find a new coffee pot, in an unopened box, sitting on the table.

We stayed here for 4 nights visiting family. After reading all the bad reviews we almost switched to a different hotel but decided to keep it because of the 2 room suite that was nicely priced. We had a nice stay here. The one thing that I didn’t like was where it was located. It’s behind a Mattress Firm and La-z-boy so it is easy to miss. Just look for the Mattress Firm sign and turn there. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work but was no big deal. There is no TV in the king room for the 2 room suite but there is one in the queen room. We just took the TV from the living room and put it on the rolling desk and put it in the king room. This isn’t as horrible a place as people make it seem. It did smell like weed but only outside by the door. The pool and hot tub were nice and the jets were on and working. We did ask the front desk for more towels for our room since only 2 were provided and they brought them up quickly. The breakfast is continental and free. The only thing you have to pay for is if you wants eggs, bacon, etc. It’s a $2 fee which isn’t all that bad. Cheaper than going somewhere else for breakfast. The Wi-Fi worked great on all our devices. Overall I would give it 3 1/2 stars.

Power went out in the middle of the night for a bit, so it was pretty noisy with people in the hallway with no AC or fan to drown out the noise. Not terrible aside from that. Wi-Fi was kinda spotty when we first arrived. Typical airport area hotel. Shuttle service is provided, but double and triple check your reservations to ensure they will be ready, it seems there were “communication issues” even though I was pretty clear. 2.5 stars out of 5

We stayed here the lobby looked very nice. The bartender that worked the bar should be wearing a uniform so you can look more professional. She was just look causal. The lady the lady that checked us she gave us wonderful suggestion for pizza and breakfast. She was very friendly. We found she was the manager. It hard to find the lobby from your room the signs are around to see well. The carpet in the hallway was dirty. We noticed the side door was suppose to locked but it’s the main smokers door so they have it duct tape so you need a key to get back. When we got all settle in and order food we notice our ceiling leaking. I called the front desk the lady ask if it was water. I told her I’m not going to taste it. They got maintenance over and they had the manager move us to another room. She was nice to help lmove. It just pain after getting all settle to repack and go down the hall to another room and you just order food. Then we got our bill and there was no discount for the inconvenience. Plus it is very loud. I would find a local restaurant for breakfast and skip the hotel breakfast.

Just got there tonight so I'm excited. Pools open until 11 (for adults) Breakfast is on until 10, yea! I found out this information from the bartender in the lobby. Impressed that she had good training, when I asked her if breakfast was good her response was "I don't know I do this" I didn't get a smile but I did get an eye roll. To bad they can't train for attitudes. At least my garbage man smiles at me every weekk.

"Yuck" is the first word that comes to mind. I've stayed is very expensive rooms and very inexpensive rooms and to be honest, I'm great with both if they are clean & well maintained. Upon arriving on the shuttle, I noted it was located behind some other businesses. Typically, not a problem for me but it was dark and a little scary at night. I was greeted by a very nice receptionist who got me checked in. She sent me with some very odd directions; something to the tune of 2 rights, a left to get to the elevator and then several more turns to find the room. I'm thinking "how big is this place to need directions like that? " Well, after dragging my luggage down several disgustingly stained carpeted hallways, I find a rather scary elevator. Yes, the only one I am aware of. I find my room and find the door has quite a gap and perhaps has had a plate removed from the face? I look around and find this is the case with many of the doors. I'm not feeling comfortable about this. I enter and the smell of smoke fills my nose. No! I haul all my things back down to the front desk and she gives me a new room. I haul all my things through the dirt halls again and find a new room with a better latch and very little smoke smell. I will say the room was clean and the bed was somewhat comfortable but there was makeup on the cover, which was quickly removed. But what sealed the deal was the next morning when they couldn't "find" the shuttle driver and nearly made all of us late for our flights.

This is not a good place to stay. The room they gave me the first time was not clean yet. I had to take the suitcase all the way to front desk and ask for another room. The 2nd room I've got, strong smell of smoke in the air. It must had been a smoking free room from the past. The bed sheet and pillow cases were used before. This place spends very minimal effort for hygiene. Not happy with it even I am only here for one night. Never again.

It was comfortable with very friendly staff. It felt a little dated (but not bad) and the shower didn't drain well. After a few days home, I found a charge for the room on my credit card that was not supposed to be there. I was there on business and the person who invited me to Grand Rapids paid for the room before I got there. However, when I arrived at 11:30 p. M. The front desk said they needed my card or my host present with their card. Being late, I handed over my card as to not bother my host so late at night. Over the next couple of days, I was assured twice that the room was switched over and my host talked to the hotel to ensure the room was switched over. There is no reason for the room to be charged to my card. They either double charged the room to me and my host, or they couldn't simply switch the room over to my host's card. So, now, my host and I have to handle it instead of the hotel front desk doing their job.

Have stayed here a few times and loved it. Rooms have always been spotless. Today, not so much. Found bottle caps on floors. Part of a towel shredded under the sink area and there r spots on the tile which looks like it hasn't been mopped. still 1 of my fave places to stay tho :)

We've been staying in different Wyndham locations for the past week, this is far and away the worst. Service is good, but the owners clearly don't put money back into the place. The room we we're in has poorly patched holes in the wall, the ceiling is peeling away above the shower and the door to the refrigerator barely functions. I'm sure this place was nice at one time but that was a while ago. Update, while the hotel was less than great, the Manager, Sarah, was fantastic and took care of us.

Great location and very comfortable bed, easy to get around the area. Breakfast was good continental with waffles. Very clean, kept up nicely and newly remodeled. Very friendly. Got directions to Costco, but they were not accurate. Good stay.

If you're a Wyndham member — this is your best spot to stay in GR. The lobby was excellent and staff was very friendly. Bar actually had someone working it in the evenings. Rooms are decent but a little dated. The only elevator is a WALK to get to if you're carrying bags — grab a cart if you have a few.

Not bad but kinda a run down outside. Inside and the people werre nice. I did appreciate how friendly everyone was. Nice hotel. Nice room but maybe not a 10/10 experience.

Beds were comfy, the pool was heated and staff was nice. Other than that. Our room wasn't stocked with towels. Definitely had things falling apart in our room. Room was dirty and the entire hotel smelled of weed all night. So strong at times that it woke me and my son up! Terrible place and experience for what I paid.

Well you asked how our experience was the Wyndham Garden hotel in Grand Rapids near the airport, and I can say that it was not all that pleasant. First night we were there the heater in our room went out. Their solution was a space heater at midnight. Next day still not working until after 6 pm. No compensation for any of it. Just an I'm sorry. Maintenance was sent to our room 3 times. The receptionist said they just fixed it. Really! The hotel its self was nice and clean. Staff was mostly friendly. Won't stay there again. I have bad arthritis and my 65 yr old mother was with me. Tries to find contact info on the website only a number. No email to follow up. At almost $400 for a weekend You would think it would have been a little more accommodating. Very disappointed.

The hotel is set back off the street and difficult to see and find. Service was wonderful. We were expected and got a room right by the elevator as requested. The room was beautiful and very clean. We loved the bathroom layout with the toilet\ shower in a separate area/room from the sink. Easier for two of us to get ready at the same time. Our schedule didn't allow for it, but they have a bar. Free continental breakfast offered in a beautiful dining area. Hot items are offered for additional cost through their restaurant. Wonderful place. We would go back and certainly recommend it.

Great stay, if there were any problems, he would solve them immediately.

Very disappointing. When I first checked in there were no standard queen rooms clean so I waited an hour, so finally I was upgraded to a "Queen Suite". Headed to the room and the keys didn't work, so I had to go back to the front desk: (Once we did get into the room I was so upset I felt like I booked a room for the cheapest motel ever, but it was for the kids to enjoy swimming for the weekend, so I tried to stay positive. Headed down to pool area and it was pretty decent. After 3 hours we were ready to head upstairs to order food and it was getting late, but of course there were no towels. Called front desk 3 times. After an hour they finally brought some. So now its bed time and the heater doesn't work. I just called it a loss and couldn't wait until the morning to check out. "Never Again"

Would not come back to this hotel hot tub is nasty pH level. 0 and there is not a free breakfast hrg for eggs bacon and sausage in the words of my kids this is food I eat for snacks trust this place if you would like to I will never return.

I expected more from a Wyndham hotel, but I had a horrible experience. After showering, I went to dry off with a "clean" towel that was hanging. After drying my face, I noticed there was a huge yellow stain with blood and black/brown spots (what looked like a sex stain). I was horrified! And I still feel sick. I voiced my complaints to the manager. She stated that there was nothing she could do since I booked the hotel through Priceline. I had to contact Priceline. The hotel stay was refunded, but this is still unacceptable. ALL personal care items should be removed from the room and cleaned between guests! No exceptions. Other complaints include the hallway reeking of marijuana and the towels in the pool area not being stocked.

Overall, this is a decent hotel to stay at. The rooms are, for the most part, clean and the price was fair for what they offered. They do need to keep in mind sanitation when it comes to bedding. See below. Staff: The front desk staff is right to the point. They do not do the routine chit chat as they check you in. Overall, they are not abundantly friendly or welcoming, but they are efficient. Amenities: Pool / Spa Tub — The area as well as the pool/spa tub are kept clean. Towels are stocked regularly. Very nice. Gym — typical hotel gym. It was pretty clean and everything in working order. Breakfast — bland as far as food options go. Room: Appearance — picked up, spacious Smell — not musty, overall it smells fresh and clean Bathroom — there was ripped shower curtains in the room I stayed at (317), but everything else seemed fine Bed — firm, comfy pillows. We did request a late check out time on our last day. I always tidy up the room before leaving, because I am aware that by me checking out late, it messes up house keeping's schedule. So, I bag the trash, gather the towels, and strip the bed for them. I was appalled to find SEVERAL large red/rust colored stains throughout the mattress. It was completely soiled and should have been tossed out… not be kept in a room for guests to sleep on.

The hotel itself was decent enough for the price. The room was clean and the bed was firm. Drinks were amazingly priced at the hotel bar. The issue was the second floor smelled strongly of marijuana and air fresher. The scents were overpowering and caused my allergies to act up. Front desk was apologetic but denied knowledge of the issue.

The room was huge with plenty of space for a family with kids, but hotel is very old and hasn't been kept up. Bathroom had an enormous jetted tub, probably the first ever made. The beds were extremely hard, like sleeping on the floor so it took forever to fall asleep. Climate control didn't work so I boiled all night. I did get a handful of hours but I definitely hurt all over. My only recommendation for this hotel would be a cheap weekend swimming with the kids, or stopping after a long road trip at a two-star hotel on a 1-5 scale. Our particular room was kept clean. After reading other reviews about price of hotel, I would run. We used Wyndam Rewards so were not out any money. Thank God for that or I would have checked us right back out and left. Pros cons for sure.

Room was not very clean. House keeping kept knocking at my door when do not disturbed Sign on handle. They charge $6.36 for breakfast. Tasted terrible and not much of a selection. I asked for O. J. Only to be told we don’t have any. The French toast they offed was hard. The bacon was cold, the eggs were terrible, the potatoes were hard. Almost like it had been sitting for hours. For that price I could have gone somewhere else and had a great breakfast. I’ve stayed at this hotel in the past. It was much better service. They didn’t charge for breakfast and it tasted better. The bar restaurant was supposed to open at 4. I arrived at 4:05. I was told I’m not ready yet by the staff. Was told to give me 15-20 min. I came back at 4:30pm I was then ignored by the staff for another 5 min. Their was one other person at the bar. Then attempt to order a beverage only to be told we are out of that. Very disappointed in my trip to this hotel. Will consider other options in the future.

Do not pay cash, they take the money and say you never paid for the room. When we checked in I put deposit on a prepaid card and paid cash for the room. The next day at 6pm tried saying we owed for the first night still. How do you check someone in a room without getting payment for the night up front? I asked to see the camera's because I know I gave her cash and they wouldn't show me. Scam and I'm out $100. The rooms were dirty hairs in the sheets and dirty carpets. Kids partying in the back parking lot and throughout the rooms down the hall.

You get what you pay for, but the location is great. Pros: Right next to shopping, friendly front desk staff and a really nice pool and hot tub. We stayed here because of the price and well maintained indoor pool. Cons: Stains on all the carpets, it is hard to see from the street (tucked away behind some other businesses), the lock on the back corner door near the elevators is broken so you could just walk in, the inside is very run down, our room was not very clean and we found a lighter in the sheets. This was fine for the weekend we were here but I would never stay here again.

Check in staff was nice. Lobby looked great, promising. Room was a huge disappointment, both of them! One was bad so we got an upgrade and that wasn’t much better but at least we had heat! No heat in first room, thermostat broken. Black hair on clean sheets. Went to use fridge, full of black, assumed mold. Fridge wouldn’t get cold. Microwave unplugged, so went to plug in… but no outlet available. Had to move microwave across room to desk to plug in and use or unplug TV. Window screen full of holes some large bug in residence in upper corner. Took kids to pool after I let desk know about fridge & heat. General Manager happened to be at desk getting ready to leave for night. Apologized said he new trying to get place together. We got an upgrade and switched to a larger room w/ jacuzzi. Kids excited. Hassle, we had to move our stuff. Late and need to be up early. Get to other room, fill tub, turn on jacuzzi, brown mold poured out of jets and filled tub water! Tub drained super slow so called front desk. Said maintenance would come. Really late and didn’t wanna deal, so just cleaned it out myself and used shower. Mold on bath ceiling. Bath ceiling paint peeling and hanging by exhaust fan. Fridge super small and dirty. Woke up at 5am to get 3 kids out to gymnastics meet and there was milk all over floor by mini fridge! I open fridge and our breakfast was frozen! Seems mini fridge busted along with my milk bottle!

Worst night in a hotel ever. The room is old and run down with stains everywhere on the hallway carpet, definitely not a 3 star hotel, I've stayed in nicer 2 star ones. When we get to room there are 3 big red stains on the carpet. Called front desk, they told me no rooms were available to switch. I never got an apology or anything from them. We were in a room with 2 beds but we only had 1 set of towels, just glad we didnt need to shower. During our stay the bathroom reeked of weed smoke, disgusting. Called front desk again, they sounded annoyed and again no apology. You could hear everything from outside the room all night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, EVER.

The room service was very good! Only thing that was. Tray was left in hall for Over 24 hours. There were loud partying people everywhere on Friday and Saturday night. A normal guest could not rest or sleep quietly. Marijuana was being smoked in some rooms. Permeated the hallways. In general a weekend party motel type place.

I booked this hotel because my sister had stayed here a few years ago, and I wanted to stay somewhere that had a Jacuzzi. I read the negative reviews, but was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. Very disappointed. The room was clean enough, but when we went to the, Jacuzzi, the jets wouldn't work. Had to get a maintenance person to fix it. Next, they serve a continental breakfast, but the muffins were inedible and there was no hot water for tea or oatmeal. There was …also some strange, man with an extremely large dog hanging around where they serve the food. The pool was supposed to be open at 8am, so when we went down at 820, it was locked. We went to the front desk and we were informed that the, maintenance man had take the keys home with him and He would be In at 9 to unlock the pool room. The staff seems mostly clueless, unable to handle the most basic problems. This was going to be a romantic getaway for me and my husband for our anniversary. Very disappointed.

They sold the original room with the bugs again there was no way they got the bugs out of there that fast.

The location is good and the room was kept clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were a nice mix of firm and soft. The fridge and microwave were a nice touch. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The layout requires guests to walk from the lobby to the elevator by almost all the rooms on the first floor. If your room is on an end this means walking well out of your way to use the elevator. The ceiling could more sound proofing. We heard creaking at all hours. The TV channel lineup was lacking many common channels like ESPN. Probably not my first choice, but I would stay at this hotel again.

The room was decent, but not particularly clean. We found a pill laying on the floor in the room, which tells me it was not thoroughly vacuumed between guests. The bathroom (especially the shower) was horrible, with the grimiest bath mat I've ever seen and paint peeling off the ceiling. The building is also very poorly laid out, with an absurdly long walk from the lobby to the elevator, which is very old and poorly maintained. The pool area was pretty nice, but not nice enough to make up for the room. Overall it wasn't terrible, but I will not be staying there again, nor recommending it to anyone else.

Doesn't even deserve a rating worst hotel experience ever! I was moved to 3 rooms due to the lack of cleaning from the housekeepers. I asked to speak to a manager regarding my stay and there was never one available. I've called and asked and got the same response. The rooms wasn't vacuumed at all the microwaves and tubs had hair all in them. One of the beds in one of the rooms the sheets wasn't changed it had food stains all over. I was sent to a room that smelt like mildew it was extremely hard to breath in there. When I spoke to the man at the front desk he never once apologized for all the inconvenience he said there wasn't anything that could be done about it all but moving me to another room. There was never a accommodation made I'll never return there.

Much better places than this! Do not stay here. It's dirty with horrible customer service. I went to the desk to complain about 3 issues we had within the hour we were here… and two other people were complaining at the same time. It's not clean, the management/ staff is rude and if we could have left we would have. Only thing keeping us here was because all the other places are booked. It's a dump. My rating is no stars.

We stayed here during an extended power outage. The staff were nice, the room was clean. I called immediately because the room was so cold, maintenance came within 10 minutes (though I had already fixed it — used the wall thermostat to adjust temperature, not the actual air conditioner). The pool was small but clean. I used the fitness room, which was well stocked with towels and cups. Overall a good experience. I would recommend it, if like me, someone had a discount code. Not sure I'd pay full room rate and be satisfied.

I can't really say anything bad. It was very nice. You can tell it's an older hotel which was redone, but all we really care about is cleanliness. We stayed in the king suite with our toddler who slept on the couch. Nice pool and courtyard too! Good quiet tucked back location near ALL the stores.

When looking at this hotel from the outside its beautiful but as we know looks can be deceiving. I think the landscaper/ grounds guy is the only one doing his job. I stayed here for one night for my sons baseball tournament. When I walked in to go to my room we were met by a housekeeper that had bags of trash piled by the door I was told would be the best one to use by the front desk. We go to the only elevator in the hotel that had trash piled by it as well. I walk down the hallway to my room only to see trash and crumbs all over the floor… (check in time was 3pm) so there is no reason they could not vacuum. The actual room was nice, besides the bathroom it was not clean! The refrigerator worked but not very well, it barely keep my sons drinks cold. The pool had an overwhelming smell of chlorine that you could smell from far away. When my kids got done swimming and walked barefoot back to our room on the carpeted hallway and directly went into the shower they made black foot prints on the bath tub floor… This causes me to think that carpet is the dirtiest ever. I went to check out when I walked up the front desk guy was talking on his personal phone. I did not receive a reciept (he could not help me with this and had to call another front desk person over that was at the bar?!? ) she told me since I booked my stay online I would get emailed a reciept… Still waiting. They were very unprofessional. I would never stay at this hotel again.

I was at this hotel for a professional training event. The hotel is set a ways off the road, which is nice for less indutrial feel. The hotel lobby and conference room were clean and well maintained. The bar in the lobby seems to be well tended and stocked.

I requested a 2 room suite. I even asked for the suite to have seperate living space from the bedroom. However, I was given a double bed with an sink, mini fridge and microwave in one room. The next morning we woke up to wet carpet near the sink area. The sink had fallen out counter and there was a leak. House keeping and maintenance walk around in street clothing. So I wasn't sure who was a guest or faculty. I had to request a new room and was finally "given" a suite. Although, I initially requested one. While, in the suite my daughters and I were talking I'm the kitchenette when a large tile from the counter fell off the wall. This hotel is very poorly maintained and I would not recommend this location.

Front desk staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Room was clean, little noise and ideal location. Wi-Fi was weak and caused internet to run slow. I had to switch to data on phone. I would go back and recommend hotel.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff and awesome shuttle driver that picked me up at airport, drove me to/ from dinner and back to airport early the next morning. Very, very helpful after my flight was cancelled and I was stranded for the night.

We came in not knowing what to expect, with a few mixed reviews that we saw. We got there and it seems like a fairly normal basic Hotel. The desk staff was courteous and knowledgeable, and help me answer any of the questions that I had before check-in. Our room was fine, the TV was a little small but it didn't matter because we didn't really care that much. Everything in the room worked fine and it was clean. The pool was great, as was the hot tub. We enjoyed our time at the hotel. We would stay there again, and we probably will the next time we are in Grand Rapids. I would recommend this to anybody who is looking for a basic overnight Hotel.

We stayed in the two-room suite, which was more like a 2 bedroom apartment! It was quiet all night, it slept 6 very comfortably, had a huge marble counter kitchen and marble counter bathroom. The beds and pillows were like clouds and all had a great nights sleep. The pool and hot tub were clean — unlike other places that have dirt rings around them. The staff; Ms. Johnson, Rebeka, and Ashley, all were friendly and helpful in everything we needed. The food is great too! The large portions on the chicken strip basket made my daughter say, "the chicken strips were larger than chickens! ". My cherry Coke was made to order with cherries. We will be back!

The bathrooms were very old our toilet was broken and grout missing in the shower area. The restaurant could not pay me to eat at it. Housekeeping let someone into our room with no questions and then left. Thank goodness the person someone that we knew. We won't stay there again.

Service was good! However walls were very thin, A/C was very loud, and the pillows were extremely flat and uncomfortable.

The staff was very friendly both at the front desk and at the bar. I loved the memory foam pillows.

It was clean and nice also like hot tub.

The room is nicely equipped with a king bed and nice bathroom but the actual construction of the hotel is the worst I have been in. Staying on the second floor you hear the people above you walking around their room and running around the halls. Initially changed rooms due to being next to the elevator and having very poor sound isolation from the hallway people talking. If you do stay here make sure you're on the 3rd floor and at an end so it limits noise.

We were at this location for 6 days and it was not an easy stay. The staff is extremely professional and courtious, with the little exception to the housekeeping staff, they can be a little loud when doing their rounds which is probably due to the lack of oversight. The hotel is very under staffed. Service at the restaurant is not awful just a little slow, as well as at the front desk. The hotel is obviously renovated and it is noticeable. Online it says free breakfast but that is not the case. The breakfast is pretty good, we had no complaints on the quality or pricing. The pool is overly chlorinated but otherwise decent. Our room was good except for the bathroom. We got a handicap room so it is a little different. There was mold on the shower head as well as on the walls. We are use to roughing it out so this was not a huge issue for us but for someone who might be susceptible to diseases or bothered by it, well it is unacceptable. Finally the Wi-fi is useless, even on a phone loading the most simple of pages took forever. If you're staying here and plan on getting work done online… good luck maybe it was just our room. Besides all the glaring problems with our stay we survived but if possible avoid this hotel if any of the issues above bother you.

Great service and value. We really enjoyed out stay and the super friendly staff. My family got stranded in Chicago and could not make it to Grand Rapid to check in for our reservation and the night was waived so that we could use that money for hotel in Chicago for the night. We did a big team BBQ in their courtyard and the staff was super helpful with utensils and other items we needed. I was helped by young lady whose name starts with an "A" on 7/22/2015. All the staff was wonderful though. If I ever visit Grand Rapids again we will definitely be staying here. I would recommend to anyone.
