Very friendly and when I walked in the door late late last night I was welcomed by a nice fire (electric) and beautiful decoration! the rooms are always at a great temperature and very clean!

Very friendly people that work here. Will be back!

Matt treated us with the most up respect anyone could offer he knew my problem from a different hotel and made us feel welcomed. The service we received it amazing awesome. Thanks for the good hospitality and highly recommend this hotel. For sure will be back.

The Front desk employees are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable and I loved the down like comforter. The pool was very nice, especially after a long day in the sun. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

This Port in the snow storm was a lovely experience at a very stressful time. Matt greeted us as warmly as the large roaring fireplace. Every nook and cranny was more than clean, there were surprises around every corner that made me smile, like the wonderful Memorial on the way to the pool, the many refreshing coffee and water stations and cookies too! We enjoyed the rather extensive complimentary self serve breakfast and the hot tub was perfect also. The staff were so kind and welcoming. We would definitely stay again!

Great staff and awesome atmosphere!

We came here for just one night as our 12 year old granddaughter is having surgery in morning. The staff was extremely helpful, supportive and encouraging. We will be back again when we can enjoy the facility to its potential.

Great service and a wonderful room! Want to start by saying Noah at the service desk was extremely helpful! My husband made the reservation for next weekend, and Noah got it straightened out with ease.

The hotel was great. Our room was in the perfect location by parking, an entrance plus breakfast which was delicious. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperatures could not have asked for a nicer stay.

Wow. Awesome hotel. There are secret places in the basement. Really cool. My meat eater friends say the breakfast is okay buy vegans have an option for fruit and oatmeal and a few other items for breakfast. Place is clean and comfortable.

Great hotel. Amazing staff. Wonderful breakfast, gourmet lobby coffee and cookies! Loved the suite. My only suggestion is it's time to upgrade the sofa and chair in the suite. Very dated and stained.

We had a wonderful time while staying at Country Inn & Suites in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our room was above what we expected. It was very large with a separate sitting area which included a comfy sofa and easy chair. It had everything I needed to accommodate my wheelchair and disability. I can't wait to stay there again.

Great place. Went there for a business trip! They have an arcade, a nice pool and a hot tub! Very friendly staff and the best free breakfast buffet I've ever had a hotel.

Laid back affordable hotel. Nice size room and pool. The staff is super friendly and accomodating. A staff member helped me w the vending machine when my candy was stuck.

The hotel it's self very nice well Maintained and organized, friendly staff, cookies always restocked and breakfast was never without any items. However some of the other guests, at least during my stay, were very rude loud and just obnoxious. I understand people get together for family thing is and such, but my family and I were staying at this hotel and paid our money just as much as you and we would like to take advantage of the pool area as well. We went down to use the pool and they were drinking, which is not allowed and so freaking loud I could talk to my daughter and try to explain to her they were being to ruff and would not allow us to use the pool as they could.

This place was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Most of the staff was helpful and the cookies are always a nice touch. If I had to go back to Grand Rapids anytime soon, I would definitely think about staying here again!

$95 a night for a king room, this has to be the best value around. It's located right off I-96, so hopping back on the freeway is effortless. Had hands down the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The free breakfast in the morning was the nicest one I've ever eaten at. They had a waffle/oatmeal/yogurt/toast stations along w/ hot breakfast item too. They have a pool & fitness center. The front desk staff was super friendly. Oh & free cookies at the front desk all the time! Bonus! The bed & pillows weren't too bad, I didn't hear much other noise from the other rooms & was able to get a good sleep. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay! A friendly staff, clean spacious rooms, a fantastic free breakfast, and a large indoor pool. They also have a decent workout room. The only negative thing is the low water pressure in the shower.

Our stay was pleasant. Rooms were comfortable and well kept. Staff was attentive and corteous. Breakfast offered had a variety that met all preferences in our family. Location is close to several great restaurants.

Stayed here for one night in a standard room. The staff was friendly, the room was lovely and clean, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the complimentary breakfast was better than I expected — they even have a waffle station. I didn't try any of their other amenities, but I would highly recommend this location based on my experience there.

Second time staying here. The stay itself was pleasant. Our first stay, last year, had a decent breakfast. However, this second one wasn't as good. Hope to be back next year to test again!

This is a wonderful place to stay! Free breakfast is really nice with tons of variety. Most comfortable beds I can recall from any hotel chain. Plus… free cookies and coffee all day and night! Super Appropriate for families with small kids. They even have games out to play to keep kids entertained.

Front desk was very nice. Room was clean and large, with large refrigerator and microwave. Perfect for our needs. Great value.

The overall stay was nice. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The walls between rooms are not well insulated. They did provide earplugs in the night stands. The free breakfast is always a plus.

Nice staff. But tubs could use some Clorox on. Blackish in tub corners and outside along floor. Breakfast was awesome.

This place is great! Fair prices, clean, friendly, pool, hot tub, arcade, and free breakfast with a lot of diversity. They treated this veteran and his family with dignity and respect. We're coming back.

This was hands down the best hotel experience we have ever had! The hotel staff is ridiculously kind, friendly, and helpful. They made us feel welcome and at home and were happy to suggest nearby food options that were delicious. Our room was spacious and crazy clean with a comfortable bed and all the amenities you could hope for. There are even board games and books available for guests in the lobby and and cookies and fruit infused water available at the front desk 24hours a day! Breakfast was delicious and when I asked about gluten free options they had a whole list of things that they could make! The hotel is located right off the freeway with easy access to anything you might want to do. Long story short: BOOK THIS HOTEL NOW!

The location is great. All the places to venture too are close in proximity of the Hotel. Clean, staff was great rooms very spacious. Would make a return visit.

I would definitely return to this hotel when coming back to town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I came here for work and coming here after a long day was definitely relaxing. Very clean and welcoming establishment.

Stayed here for a conference, the hotel was very clean, breakfast was amazing and all the staff were very nice and accommodating. Stayed on the 5th floor, couldn't hear interstate traffic because I had the air on to mask it. Bed was comfy had six pillows in the room too! No issues during my stay and I would definitely stay again. The downstairs is very homey with nice chairs and free cookies.

Stay often for business. Have never had a single complaint. Front desk staff is always friendly, room is always clean, Wifi connection is good for work, and breakfast is great. Love the sheets and pillows, wish I knew where to buy them. Someday I will take advantage of the pool and or hot tub. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Large clean rooms, and a very friendly staff. I'd recommend this place highly to anyone. However, I've stayed in many places just as nice for less. Places like in San Francisco and Seattle for instance. Sorry Country Inn and Suites, but Grand Rapids doesn't compete with either of those places with attractions. That's the only reason for 4 stars. Otherwise it would be a 5.

Great pool & hot tub, delicious breakfast. Room was comfortable & well laid out. Love the fridge & micro set up. Big closet with hangers for swimsuits & towels to dry. Great location to downtown & Papa John's pizza delivers right to your room.

Stayed the night after attending a wedding in town. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the pool was nice. The breakfast bar is open late-ish (10:30), so that was nice too. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

Excellent place to stay. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet is huge with lots of choices. There is a fitness room, swimming pool and hot tub, laundry and game rooms, lounge with lending library, outdoor patio with fire pit. Beds are very comfortable. Fridge & microwave in the room. The lobby has water, coffee, tea and cookies 24/7. We will come here anytime we are in Grand Rapids.

This is a 5-star hotel in my opinion. It is one of the cleanest hotels we have enjoyed in a long time. There was only a little dust on top of the lamp finial and in the corners of the carpet where a vacuum won't reach. There wasn't offensive air freshener over nasty cigarette odor… it was truly clean. The staff was extremely courteous. The air conditioning was comfortable, unlike the heavy, humid air conditioning in many other hotels. The only reason I rated 4 stars was because of the continental breakfast. They had wide selection, even eggs, sausage, and gravy. However, the quality of those were poor, in my opinion. The eggs tasted like reconstituted, powdered eggs, and the sausage had very little "real meat" taste. I would recommend going to Real Food Cafe instead; the breakfast there was very tasty!

Convenient location just off the expressway made participating in a friend's wedding easy. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, I was even allowed to check in early. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I found non-down pillows in the dresser drawers. The pool area downstairs looked nice but due to time constraints I did not get the chance to swim.

I had a nice time, was there with Wellspring Lutheran Services Hospice Conference. If I had more time I would have used the pool and spa. I loved the beds they were so comfortable I didn't want to get up. The Front Desk staff was professional and curtious. The Continetional Breakfast was good. There was plenty and a variety of food. I loved the fruit bowl. The only problem I had had was the Orange Juice, the sign on the machine said 100 % Orange Juice. And it wasent it was so watered down it tasted more like water. I am a diabetic and I needed some Orange juice that morning.

We were celebrating my friends 40th Birthday and had a great time! Only 2 faults… 1 — She had asked if could have music and played at descent volume for dancing. They had stated YES, Not a problem and they even showed her where volume could be played at specific level. About hour or so in our party and they came down telling us was too loud and needed turned down. Which we didn't even have at the level they put at. It was lower.
Then 2 — The burners under the food, something malfunctiond, flames got pretty big and burned the pan pretty bad, freaked us out for a minute but we took care of it. Other than that, everything went real nice and everyone enjoyed theirselves. Especially our Birthday Girl!

Great place, good breakfast, gym, pool and jacuzzi, laundry, candy machines, staff is attentive, the room always smells clean, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is good size and with tub, the service of T. V. It's good, the internet is free and good speed, … Great place!

I have stayed at this hotel on 2 separate occasions, and it has been wonderful each time. The staff is friendly and kind, the hotel is absolutely spotless, the beds are comfortable, and breakfast is delicious. I couldn't give this a higher recommendation, you can truly relax while you are here, the atmosphere is fantastic.

My husband and I came here for our first anniversary. I think we are going to make it a yearly thing. The room was clean and hotel was quiet even with our room right across from the breakfast room. We never heard much while sleeping. We were on the first floor. Only thing was minor and not bothersome. The location is great only a few minutes away from many activities and restaurants. We got a king whirlpool room. The breakfast was not my thing but my husband said it was good. We would recommend this hotel. Only thing we didn't do was go to the pool. They do offer complementary coffee 24/7. Lots to offer. I have worked in a hotel for years and I am very satisfied with my stay.

Stayed at the Country Inn and Suites this past weekend. My soccer team had an Alumni game and a few of our Alumni stayed at Country Inn and Suites at the East Beltline location and it was GREAT. The accomodations were great, the staff was great, breakfast was great… just an overall tremendous experience. Perfect.

LOVE this place. There are no words to describe how friendly, amazingly sweet, genuinely nice and graciously accomodating all of their staff members are, regardless of the area they work in! Rooms are clean, beds are soft, breakfast is yummy and the pool, laundry and game room are on the lower level, where there are no rooms, which cuts down on noisy traffic through the hotel itself. We're in the area often and have stayed at numerous hotels here, but now that we've found this one we won't be staying anywhere else!

The stay is very homey, as we stayed in one of the suites. The room had a pull-out couch, chair, separate bedroom, king bed, two TVs, a fridge, microwave and desk. Everything was comfortable and quiet like I prefer. The hotel also had a nice pool/hot pool, gym, and even arcade. Finally, it's nearby any and all of the attractions in Grand Rapids.

I had a good stay there, the breakfast was decent, but the only problem was the drain to the shower was clogged a bit, but that can happen with time so we let them know.

If I have a choise, I always choose to stay at a Country Inn & Suites. The breakfast is great the rooms are great the service is great. The only problem is that their prices sometimes are a little too high.

One of the best run hotels in GR. There rooms are wonderful and there facilities are great for meetings. Our company uses there conference rooms for meetings four times a year. There service is the best! Ed Wilson and his staff are very accommodating. I highly recommend the Country Inn and suites for a night away or a business meeting!

My company had hosted several out of town employees at the local Country Inn and we used their conference rooms to hold team meetings all week. The setting was not only super convenient, but also clean and comfortable which added to the success of our meetings.

It was in the Chicago area. It was clean nice and a place I'd visit again. The staff was more than helpful and even provided a free upgrade. Love the free Wi-Fi would go there again.

This is a great place to stay. Whenever I come to visit the town this is the place that I stay because of its great location just outside of downtown but also close to Frederik Meijer Gardens. Great breakfast clean rooms, friendly staff and a pool. What more could you want?

Actually a pretty good value. Country Inn was clean, staff were nice, lots of complementary coffee, excellent breakfast options, great location, and just aa laid back safe environment. Would definitely stay there again.

Heated indoor pool and hot tub. Great service and an amazing brekafast with both hod and cold food options. Rooms are comfortable and clean. A little pricey but great in comparison to some of the downtown options.

A close stop-by after taking the highway. The staff is friendly, helpful and give a lot of effort! Overall, the rooms are clean and accessible from the parking lot anywhere. Internet is strong, complimentary breakfast has more choices than any other Country Inn. The location is also close to nearby restaurants and shopping places. Definitely worth staying!
