Nice, Clean and up to date! Lots of space to move around and especially like the separate sleeping room from my grandkids. I will definitely stay at the Homewood Suites again.

The rooms here are all clean and tidy. The staff are professional and friendly. They include free night time dinner/snack, Tues to Thurs. And breakfast 7 days a week. Both have delicious options, with the breakfast even offering rice and Kim chee!

The people were nice and I was able to relax.

Rooms and grounds were beautiful and clean. Lots of room for my family. We had a less than stellar nights sleep but it was due to noisy neighbors and not the hotel's fault. Their customer service went above and beyond making it right. I would stay there again!

This hotel is located next to Walmart and it has good location to other stores and restaurants within 2 miles, the room is very clean and good design, it has kitchenette, microwave, dishes and silverware. I gave 4 stars for one reason and unfortunately it is everywhere or in the whole hotels and that is the pillows, the pillows are very soft and after minutes they turn to thin layer and you barely sleep because this reason otherwise everything very good.

Homewood is my favorite Hilton hotel. They have a nice renovated lobby. The best part was the reception in the evening. One night they had Mac and Cheese and pork sliders. They also do serve drinks. Right next door to Walmart. Owners do a good job maintaining the property. Love the ceiling fan in the bedroom. Will be back.

I love staying at Homewood Suites, the place is super clean, the staff is very friendly and their breakfast is always hot and delicious. It is also close to a lot of shopping places. I highly recommend this place…

Very affordable hotel, clean and friendly, helpful staff. The room was spacious and clean, and most importantly the bed was comfortable. For a few nights stay while at an away hockey tournament, this was ideal. Would definitely stay here again.

Really have no complaints. Good location. The rooms were as advertised. The staff was great. The free breakfast was also a very nice perk.

Just performed a murder mystery show here today for the first time. Had a blast. Place looks magnificent.

Staff is excellent, we were checked in and out by an exceptional employee by the name if Piper. Piper was so friendly and genuine. We have stayed there three times in the last month and each time we get a warm friendly greating. The kitchen staff is also great, attending to our every need. Thanks again to Piper, Katisha, Mercede and Kailey. The cook is also fantastic but I don't know her name because she spends most of her time in the back preparing fantastic food.

I had to visit Detroit twice within a 3 week period, and while I initially chose this hotel for its proximity to my work site, I chose it on my second trip because it met all of my needs. Not only was the staff warm and welcoming, but the rooms and beds were comfortable. I had a room with a bedroom and a king size bed on the first trip, and a room with a queen size bed on the second trip. Both rooms were great. There is a wal-mart in the adjacent parking lot, within easy walking distance even in sub freezing temperatures. That makes it easy to get food and other necessities. The hotel also has a program where they will go grocery shopping for you and deliver your groceries to your room. I did not need to use this option but I can think of times when I wish that I could have. This hotel is definitely tops on my list for needing to come to Detroit and stay near Troy.

Feel like home … room are excellent, spacious with small kitchen with utensils, oven, bread toasted, refrigerator, dishwasher … morning breakfast monday to Thursday 7 to 9.30 am complimentary breakfast with different menu’s daily … night complimentary dinner 5 to 7. Pm… next to the lobby you can get natural coffee, sparkling water … walkable distance Walmart store and pharmacy … this place is awesome.

Very professional and friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast is delicious and they also have complimentary dinner. The suite has a fully equipped kitchen.

This is a nice place to stay if you are in the area. I called and made a reservation about 15 minutes before I showed up, and check in was very smooth. They actually upgraded my room for me, and the room is quite nice. There is more space than most hotels, and you have a little kitchen. I would stay here again.

Room was very clean with all the amenities you could want. The pool was clean and the breakfast had a very nice amout of food all for a decent price.

We were not very convinced but were surprised by the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms. Great suites with own kitchen. Very good pillows.

Wonderful hotel and staff. Breakfast was great. Only complaint was that all the handicapped rooms where located at the end of the halls on all floors a great distance from the elevator; which made coming and going difficult.

The hotel is old though they are making arrangements to improve it. The staff is quite inattentive, the breakfast and the "dinner" included in the stay are hilarious. The keys never work, 3 times I had to return to the front desk to fix the card code, obviously carrying the suitcases because there is no one to help. Most hotels in Detroit are rather austere but to this one, I definitely do not return. The room is spacious, at least.

Room a bit antiquated but no deafening blower during the night unlike other hotel. Indoor pool. Gym. Good breakfast. This is very good overall.

Charged me $50 at check in for “Incidentals“ – said it will be refunded once I check out. To be clear: this is apparently to cover if I buy a soda or candy bar from their little snack shop. So they are holding my $50 for ~4 days? Interesting way to try to make money. How about you just charge me for a hotel room and I pay for a hotel room? I buy anything else, I will pay you then. Despicable.

Everything was fine with the exception of the pillows on the bed. They were far too big and they were very hard and uncomfortable. I don't know why they don't have some smaller pillows that are softer. I can't be the only person who finds huge hard pillows to be uncomfortable. Plus the breakfast offerings are not as good as they used to be. I stay at this hotel every Christmas with my family for the past several years. In past years they had individual single size Greek yogurt offered in the dining room for breakfast. This year they had a big covered trough of yogurt that had a plastic cover over it. I was not about to eat any of the yogurt from that. The woman in the dining room said that 'corporate' decided to change the way the yogurt was offered from individual sealed containers to the big trough with a ladle. She said that some guests had even put a scoop of the yogurt in the waffle maker not realizing that it was yogurt. This loses points with me because I really enjoy a few containers of Greek yogurt with breakfast and was quite disappointed when I got down to the dining room and found that there wasn't any.

We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the amenities, but we were impressed with our room. The suite with kitchenette was lovely, clean, and comfortable; we will look to stay there again when in the area.

Great environment. Comfortable bed. The rooms look like they are due for a remodel. Looking kind of old. Stayed here for a week long business trip. The breakfast was good. Gym has enough space. Overall I recommend.

A very comfortable hotel with great amenities such as stovetops and kitchen cutlery. The staff was amazingly helpful and very friendly, and the beds were quite comfortable. The downside, at least in the room I was in, is that it's loud. The walls are much thinner than I would expect for such a nice hotel. I would definitely stay again, but I would try for a top floor room.

It was a nice place, and the staff was friendly and greeted me whenever I passed them in the halls. The biggest issue was that the "no smoking" rule was not strongly enforced. There were people smoking right outside the entrance, in front of the sign that said specifically not to smoke by the entrance.

This hotel is the best! Everyone works hard to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Jessica is so wonderful and really cares about all the guests. Mendy and Brittney make certain that you enjoy your breakfast and Cynthia is always available if you need something for your room. Mark is always helpful if you need something fixed. What more can you ask for! In my opinion, it's the only place to stay.

Very nice place… we got it very late the guy at the desk was super nice. Wish we would had more time to enjoy our room were only there 1 night.

This is a great place to stay for a few days. It's a bit pricey but the rooms are spacious and lots of amenities including the kitchen sink! My place to go when in town… Rochester, Royal Oak area.

I have stayed at this Homewood suites on two separate occasions. Once with a Certain SPECIAL gentleman and our room was well equipped. My second visit was an extended stay (2 1/2 weeks with my daughter and we born enjoyed fresh home cookies in, I enjoyed it the free cocktail hour and they also serve Asian well as dinner Monday through Friday. There's a Hollywood Market across the street and it's close to Somerset mall and a Star as well. I'm not sure a Wally World shopper, but there is one locate only a few yards away from the hotel.

My husband and I were matched at the last minute with a mother to adopt our baby girl. We chose to stay at this hotel, and we could not be more grateful to the staff! The room was amazing and perfect for us as we adjusted to having a new child in a city far from home. We were treated super kindly by everyone at the hotel. The staff accommodated our changing needs and were quick to bring us any items we needed in our room. We even had staff members volunteer help unsolicited which was incredibly kind. And we were floored when the staff delivered a gift basket to our room for our daughter congratulating us on our little miracle. The stay in this wonderful hotel has altered our view of what hotel stays can be like forever. And in the future anytime we need to travel, we will certainly be looking for a nearby Homewood Suites. Because truly — no other hotel can compare!

I was visiting a work colleague who was visiting from overseas and was being put up in this hotel for 4 months. The room offered more than a typical overnight room you might see at most hotels. There was a full sized fridge and a stove which made the place much more livable for an extended stay. The bedroom was pretty spacious even with what appeared to be a king sized bed. Daily housekeeping visits meant the place was always looking tidy. It seemed like a rather pleasant thing to come home to after a long day at work.

Great staff, very friendly, clean, and quiet. The rooms are great and set up like small apartments, 2 tvs living room, kitchen, a comfy bed and business center, breakfast, and dinner. Will be back!

The location was a little farther out than I anticipated, but it was still central to malls, restaurants, movies, etc. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and professional. The room was lovely and had more than enough space. I will definitely choose this hotel in the future.

Room 143 is horrible! It's right next to the employee lounge and they are very loud. At 11pm someone started vacuuming right outside of our room. The walls are thin and so is the ceiling. It sounded like a herd of elephants were above us. Just a bad experience.

Homewood suites is a great place for family or business related stay with a good complementary breakfast on all days and Mon to Thu dinner. This place is strategically located with access to great shopping places close by.

I was very pleased with the service. Free beer during happy hour is a plus!

Amazing experience, clean fully stocked room…, friendly staff, lovely just lovely. I love that the have a coffee maker in the room with your choice of decaf or regular … Love waking up to a fresh pot of coffee. And I love that they have an alarm clock, and the bible in nightstand. Best hotel I have yet to stay in.
