My husband and I had the BEST experience at HGI with our wedding on 7.31.21. The venue is just beautiful, the event staff and manager was top notch, our guests had nothing but great things to say about the food, hotel rooms were nice, and the list goes on. Everyone we worked with when setting up and tearing down was so helpful and kind. If we had to do it all over again, we would return to this venue without a doubt. Wanting to give a huge shoutout to Carrie McIntyre, the wedding coordinator. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND from when my mom and I first met with her 9 months ago to ensure the day would be perfect. She is so polite, patient and fun to work with. Whenever I had a question or concern, she got it answered and taken care of. Just what every bride needs!

Highly recommend NOT getting married at the Hilton Garden Inn Sioux City Riverfront! The staff and customer service is awful! Employees admitted they were hired through a hiring agency and have no idea what they’re doing. They walk around with AirPods in, got orders wrong, broke some of our custom decor, offered drugs to our guests, failed to set up some decor that we paid extra for, and never served the headtable food!

Really liked this hotel had a fun time with our kids.

I did not stay there. I had to cancel our reservations and did not know that this hotel has a 48 hour requirement to cancel. I canceled within 24 hours. I was charged $141.00. This is more than the room rate. We will be in Sioux City later this Summer. I will not be staying here. Very disappointed in this. Guess I will continue staying with Radison Hotels.

We utilized the Hilton Garden Inn for a hotel room block for our wedding guests and our wedding ceremony site. We are so happy we did! Our guests were so happy with the accommodations! The staff was super friendly. The hotel rooms had recently been remodeled. Beds were super comfy. Crave was attached to the hotel which was convenient for out-of-town guests. It was great! Our guests booked out 95% of the hotel that weekend so it was a great atmosphere for everyone to …remain close by. Our ceremony space was gorgeous! Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Missouri River. It snowed on our wedding day so we had our ceremony inside, but there is an outdoor option for those interested. We were able to have chairs set up in a unique way and were able to set up the day before. They had a new AV system so the music worked and sounded great. We loved it! Accommodations and ceremony space were fantastic, but hands down the best part was working with Allison and Kelsey! We often had random questions or thoughts. They both worked with us to accommodate our needs and solve any problems that arose. They were both so kind, understanding, and cared about making our day one to remember. We would highly recommend anyone to utilize the Hilton for accommodations and or ceremony/reception space.

Very new looking and clean. Crave is a nice bar and restaurant excellent food but bar needs more TV’s for sports viewing.

This is a very chill, low key kind of hotel. They do not have adjustable beds like their website description says, but that may be a good thing — beds were perfectly comfortable with no adjustment needed. Blackout shades are fantastic, and something every other hotel should copy. One thing to keep in mind that apparently bothered other guests: HGIs do not offer free breakfast. Instead, they do a $10 cooked to order breakfast with omelets, pancakes, bacon, etc. Much better quality, and even more worth the money if you pay for breakfast when booking the room. (Was about $10 more for the whole room, so $5 breakfast for both of us)

Went to the restaurant for dinner. Great looking place. Very modern. Nice atmosphere. Food was great, just a little pricey.

Very friendly staff and very accommodating, also the view of the river is beautiful. They even called up to our room to check and see if everything was going okay and if they needed to bring us anything.

The front area was very well kept and tidy. And the room we were put in also looked very nice. I would say the hotel overall had a very clean professional appearance to it. It was ideal for the professional event that they held there.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast at the hotel was really good, and there's a full restaurant attached to the hotel's convention center (I didn't eat there, however). There was plenty of free parking. The hotel is located right next to the Missouri River and there are some nice views from the south side of the hotel. The place is very easy to find and is right off the Interstate. There's even a marina nearby if you're traveling by boat.

We stayed on a Saturday night and it was pretty loud. The window view to the river was mostly blocked by cars, which was a bummer. The room itself was lacking. Not overly clean and in general pretty run down. Breakfast was sufficient although we expect a made to order breakfast and only had the option of buffet. The restaurant connected to hotel was very tasty with lots of variety. Even though there was a wedding at the hotel there was plenty of parking. Over all, I would say that I was less than impressed for staying at a Hilton property, but it did the trick.

The employees at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly, even though they were very busy. The hotel itself was very clean and in good condition. They also had very nice landscaping.

I'm native from the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska living in Chicago, my 83 year old handicapped father and I were attending my nephews graduation in Sioux city, seeing my sister does not have handicap facilities we decided to rent a room for a few days and found the Hilton garden inn was available, when checking in, we provided credit cards, senior citizens discount card and my tribal I. D. That's when the rudeness started and attitude towards the beginning of our stay started, I asked for an extra pillow and towels our first night, the attendant said they were already in the room, "look for them", then in the morning they called and requested my father who can barely walk come up to the front desk and either check out or pay to stay when it was discussed we were staying for 3 days, then after we dressed and got ready to leave for my sister's house, I went to the front desk and asked if they can straighten up a little, the manager told me, " you're too late, housekeeping is gone for the day", I said, " at 1pm in the afternoon"? she then told me to get up earlier. This happened a year ago, and it still bothers me, that this type of attitude is still alive and well in the Midwest, and especially at an establishment that is supposed to be well known for hospitality, it's really sad.

Love how calm & peaceful the environment is here… Also the staff are respectful, kind, courteous, patience, & willing to help. Great Work Everyone!

Great service with amazing rooms. Location fairly close to the hard rock casino. Breakfast was great. Very pleased with the experience.

Attended a Rev-tac course on Saturday here. Nice setup, the room was comfortable even though we kept having to add chairs because so many people showed up for the class. The class was great and the Pre-tac guys were entertaining as usual. Learned a lot as well, so highly recommended if you enjoy guns and want to understand your rights in possessing them.

Love this place. Love the swimming pools especially the kiddie pool and the hot tub also have a sauna. Nice rooms.

Coffee maker broken. Shower handle broken. Room was dirty when we arrived. Ugly view of the freeway and industrial area. We asked for a different room, and were told that there were other rooms available that would not be filled… but we couldn't have one because we booked through a 3rd party and they couldn't change anything on our reservation. Rude!

Nice place. Went to a beautiful wedding reception there. The food was great.

First time to crave. It was ok. Service was my the best and we were in a medium size group about 7 of us. Food was ok the the best I've had but I don't eat sushi so that may different. People with me did and said that it was very good.

Went there for my husbands work event. It was a nice relaxing environment. Buffet was what was served for dinner. Excellent food choices, most was served to perfection, potatoes were burnt a little. Overall we would go back.

It's a great place. Friendly staff and beautiful rooms. The swimming pool water was just perfect with a hot tub and a separate pool for little ones.

So far so good here. Beautiful hotel, perfect pool. Laundry, gym and rooms super clean and staff are super nice and accommodating. We are visiting from Florida for Christmas.

Went to a wedding, the food was cold, wasn't cooked correctly, potatoes were hard as a rock. The service was slow, they wouldn't give me a box to take my cold food home. The drinks were good as long as you were willing to wait 20 minutes to get one. A wine bar opened and you were served quickly and had to bring your wine glass back to have another. None of the wines were poured in correct glasses. The bathrooms were not kept clean, drinks spilled all over, clogged toilets. People were drinking outside, glasses all over. You actually had to walk by the kitchen with orders sitting right there to get to the bar in the restaurant. Unreal. If not for family I would have left. The banquet.

We really enjoyed our stay here and the place is clean and updated. My husband thought he lost his wallet when we checked in and the hostess was so nice, she told us we could go to the casino and have security look at the cameras. We did just that, Shawn was the head of security, he was very helpful, we found the missing wallet (right where my husband left it last) … in the car. Thank you to all!

Super friendly staff. Helpful, bent over backwards to make sure our stay was a great experience. Multiple areas, indoors and outdoors, for groups to relax. Comfortable beds. Stayed there with a large group, believe that we all would give the hotel and staff 4 to 5 star ratings.

Very nice place. Had a wedding there. Prices for food we're kinda high. And would be five stars if they had a free breakfast. Cost $10 for 12yr and older, $5 for under 12

Check in was easy, and our room was amazing. The kids had a great time but the pool. The shuttle to and from the casino was nice too.

I didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't tell you much about the rooms, but they're under renovation right now, which should only make this beautiful hotel on the river even more of a gem! Now on to the restaurant (Crave) : The service was great! Drinks were always full, and the food actually isn't that expensive, and they give you generous portions. Great beer selection, and nice atmosphere both at the bar and the restaurant area.

Very clean and welcoming lobby. It smelled fresh and clean. The exterior had a nice area for sitting and chatting with the family. We used a room for a business meeting and it was great. The AC worked very well. The room was spacious. The restrooms were also clean and sanitary. I didn't see a single thing to be upset about. Even the girl at the front desk was wonderful.

I have to give it an excellent. The staff is amazing, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing, the rooms are oh so comfortable. The only thing is — is that it's by The Riverfront and you gonna get boat traffic early and kinda late if facing the River. Not bad though but I'd definitely recommend this place and will be back when I'm passing through!

Beds, pillows, and sheets were absolutely top quality. A very nice place to rest your head, the attached Crave restaurant is magnificent in quality and service if you enjoy seafood. However, the manager on duty at check-in kind of harassed my boyfriend for not joining Hilton Honors. We stayed on the first floor and our hotel room bathroom smelled like a mixture of candle wax, chemicals, and smoke. He tried the bathroom fan on with the door closed for several hours, yet the foul odor persisted when showering or using the facilities. The pool, hot tub, and sauna are very nice, definitely quality craftsmanship with a beautiful view and a patio to boot (bring your hotel room card to get back in)! You can watch the sunset and sunrise from the windows in there if you make it on time. The hot tub and half moon shaped wading pool has a row of jets you can turn on which shoot straight up. That's designed to be fun for kids, but the four attended children who we encountered in the early morning and late into the evening seemed to love crowding the hot tub (unattended by a parent) or splashing everyone in the pool. It wasn't the relaxing experience we paid for. Their pool is open until midnight so I'm very annoyed by the fact that there are no 'adults only' swim hours.

I can't review the hotel accommodations nor the staff etc. I was there for a reason other then being a guest at the hotel, unfortunately… I say this only because what I did see of the hotel, amenities the grounds and the scenic view of the riverfront was spectacular! When I do return to Sioux City I'm more sure about where I'm staying then why I'll be going!

Excellent mid level hotel that punches above its weight. Very friendly staff and the rooms in good shape. Very pet friendly and a rare hotel that not only is pet friendly but is set up for pets.

Excellence is my perfect word. The staff is attentive, the breakfast is great, 2 kinds of eggs, 2 meats, waffles, pancakes, biscuits n gravy, breads, fruits, yogurt, cereals, salsas, coffee, and didn't have to make anything. There is always fruit infused waters & coffee in the common area. Our room was clean, bed absolutely comfortable, Keurig coffee brewer in the room. I recommend staying here for the service & comfort definitely.

Traveling musician Kellie Everett is a client of ours who spends a lot of time on the road and in hotels, so she knows what it takes to be a great hotel property and this place has it all! The room was large and comfortable, and the sauna was a great place to relax after check-in. There was also a nice restaurant which made it easy to find food before load-in. The staff was super friendly and the location is excellent!

Loved this place! After having a terribly bad experience at a nearby hotel, I booked a few nights here. Best decision! Room was extraordinarily clean and cozy. The bed was super comfy and soft. I loved that there was a separate sitting area from the bedroom, so that I could watch TV without disturbing my company. Excellent location. At the foot of a river with really pretty view from my room. I definitely recommend!

Front desk service is sarcastic and un helpful. The front desk women repeatedly was sarcastic and acted as if I was 4. Room service is easily too busy but the food is exceptional.

The rooms were wonderful the pool/spa area was great and the inside and outside were beautiful.

I am a Hilton hornors member and I would recommend this hotel to anyone travel to or through Sioux city. It located in a very serene environment and it has a very good on-site restaurant.

Was kind of relaxing but not after being woken up early morning because some kid was in the hall screaming and crying. Bed was hard.

Went to look at a wedding venue told them the date number of guests and after arriving at my appointment to see the room fall in love with it they tell me it wont accomadate all my guest and its booked the day I need it complete waste of time.

Nice hotel, but when I called to retrieve my phone charger that I left on the nightstand, they refused to follow up. Warning, don't leave anything in the room as they consider it to be their property after you leave.

Nice property but poorly maintained. Faucet in bathroom wasn't even attached to the sink! TV cable was broken. Front desk couldn't care less. Were told there was no maintenance staff on duty.

Management goes above and beyond to make you happy. Don't pick the Whirlpool room, unless being desk-less isn't a problem. Also, choose the river view.

For a "luxury" hotel, the furniture is beat up, bathroom is small, the hot tub had warm water. The bed however was comfortable with adjustable firmness levels.

We are diamond members for the last 5 years or so and have stayed here 3 times in the last 2 months and have really enjoyed the property. I would say the cleanliness and appointments are typical for an hgi which are really good. The employees we have encountered are a notch above though. They seem to go out of their way to help. Katie Anne especially comes to mind. In addition to the employees, the hotel restaurant and bar "bevs on the river" is exceptional as far as a hotel restaurant and bar go. Standalone I would call it good but when staying in Sioux city I don t think you can beat this hgi or the employees.

Bottom line up front: if you're looking for a place to stay in Sioux City, don't waste your time looking at other locations. I have literally stayed at every hotel/motel/you name it in this region, and Hilton Garden Inn Sioux City Riverfront is by far the finest establishment. Most of the establishments that I've stayed at smelled of smoke, were unkept, in disrepair, or otherwise should be classified as a hazardous area. Of all the places to stay in Sioux City I keep coming back to this location and as such would highly recommend it. The rooms at this location are nicely furnished. Some of the furniture shows minor wear/tear, but otherwise is aesthetically pleasing. The beds are new, well furnished, and extremely comfortable — when you lay your head down, you can actually relax and unwind, not shuffle pillows or toss and turn until you find a comfortable spot. The bathrooms are fairly decent, my only complaint would be that the small details should be attended to (caulking around the tubs is old and worn, some screws are rusty, but overall they are pleasant and unless you're really paying attention you may not notice the small details). The regular rooms have a comfortable chair to sit back and relax in. There's a great writing desk along with a fantastic chair with great lumbar support! Every room I've stayed in comes with a Kuerig coffee maker, and a few extra K cups compliments of the hotel (nice touch Hilton! ).

One of the most accommodating and well kept hotels in Sioux City. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The convenience of Bev's is great to go relax at along the Riverfront or order room service. The rooms are very clean and the view from the riverfront side is great! I definitely recommend this hotel.
