Very musty smelling room which had a dual entrance, one from an inside hallway and one directly off the parking lot. The furniture was tattered but most noteworthy, the bedspreads were shot, making the bed more like a hammock. Other than that this was definitely a three star location at best.

A good friend of mine (also a veteran) was turned away after showing her native id. Terribly rude and racist lady at the desk told her that days inn does not rent to "your people". She stated that a native american rented a room two weeks prior and trashed it and therefore all native people are unwelcome. I am furious. I fought for this country. Discrimination and bigotry will not be tolerated. I will be contacting corporate next. by the way she took a video of this rude lady and it is on the internet in case you care to look.

This place is terrible, felt like I was being watched at all times. It felt very uneasy, I wouldnt send my worst enimy there. The workers looked like they didnt shower. Rooms has traces of drug use. And I was charged twice for the same room. It was a digusting time during my 3 day stay. No not stay here. Unless you want to be unhappy.

Pool was decent size for an inn and was clean. Breakfast was standard for a hotel. Rooms were clean. Guest services were responsive and friendly. I chose the place for the price, but I would definitely stay here again. It was plenty good for what I was paying.

Went to check into room and was inloading off of the cart from lobby and before I could get my stuff off I had a knock at the door asking for the cart back was horribly rude over it. Room was not clean and stuff still in drawers. Bath tub had not been cleaned I slipped and fell from the massive amount of soap still in tub. All the staff was horribly rude and uninviting. Wound not recommend this place at all.

Not to high priced Room was ok Have to say was better place that a few other Days Inn, s have stayed at and payed more Would stay again Restaurant, s within walking distance.

Nothing fancy but a decent hotel. Nice pool and hot tub. Breakfast was much as you'd expect — waffles, cereal, biscuits/gravy, muffins, etc. Staff was very friendly though!

Quick Check-inn, Clean Rooms comfortable beds, new towels, amenities&breakfast was perfect. Had a very decent stay:). Happy:).

Breakfast was nothing but carbs, but free. Room was ample but everything was worn. The bed was worn in. A few things were broken. A light bulb was out. The desk chair was not comfortable and would slam down once you sat in it. Built by a train line, so I was awoken a couple times during the night. I thought the place was clean though. Located right off I29. I've stayed in worse hotels.

Rooms were nice and clean but the free breakfast sucks! You only get what you pay for!

I attended a professional event and they were more than accommodating and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about attending.

All I was looking for was a room to lay my head after going to a concert. This place was perfect. Even had breakfast ready in the morning. I do recommend going before 8am to breakfast, otherwise you'll be running into a crowd of late risers. Room was clean, service was exceptional. I have no complaints. Thank you.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Tv was left to the bed so was uncomfortable to watch. The heater was a bit loud and situated between the bed and tv. Smelt like there had been in the room.

It was nice not to fancy but overall would stay again. Room had jetted tub and worked more like a Jacuzzi when you unscrewed the air valve. Bed was kinda shoved in an awkward cubby hole in the room so one night stand wouldn't open but nobody uses them anyway on a one night stay.

Its right off I-29 so is easily accessible from the highway and the rooms were basic but clean. There was a basic continental breakfast and the staff was friendly. Wal-Mart is a five minute walk from the motel.

Lobby was clean. Staff is nice. Breakfast is the usual hotel breakfast. Waffles and biscuits and gravy and then cold food. Pool was nice. Hot tub was good. However, they have a sign out front sign out front saying they're newly renovated rooms. Theh certainly haven't renovated the rooms in the middle of the first or second floor. Torn carpet, musty air from air conditioner, torn shower curtains. For $120+ per night and the renovation sign out front, I was expecting new carpet and new paint and new ac at a minimum.

The hotel itself was nice but we have never been treated so badly in our 40+years of traveling. We stayed at this hotel on our first nite of a family vacation and after we left found that beyond being charged for our rooms we had been charged $100 for pillows, a blanket, and a comforter! When we tried to talk to the manager about the mistake she was extremely rude and unwilling to help in any way and basically just called us thieves. When we called the Days Inn 800# they were also unwilling to help. Will never take a chance on staying at a Days Inn again.

Friendly staff. Nice pool. Average accomadatiins but we weren't looking for anything expensive. Great deal for the night. Walking distance to restaurants and walmart.

We travel with 2 dogs. This Days Inn allows them for an additional charge per dog. The room was large enough, with new comfortable beds. They should upgrade the pillows.

Right next to Taco Bell. Awesome!

Room was not that clean. 3 year old son picked up trash from under bed that was left over from prior guest.

Despite having confimed beforehand a nonsmokers room that would allow my service animal, When we got to the hotel we were told they didn't have any pet friendly rooms available so we had to stay in a smoking room that stunk because they wouldn't allow my service cat in there regular rooms.

The people here are very rude. They have no concept of friendly customer service. Cindy the manager took my reservation and every word that came out of her mouth was laced with bad attitude and disgust. All of the pleasantries were on my side (please, thank you, have a nice day etc). Here's tip number 1 Days Inn: answer the phone "Thank you for calling Days Inn Sioux City how can I help you"

Decent place but over priced.

The people who work here are rude! I had a family member come over for one night and They made a big deal about it saying Im not allowed to have any guest without permission of the front desk I mean come on what is this? I'm paying for a room and I can't have a guest. Worst hotel I have stayed in!

Nice people, great price, beds were comfortable.

Stayed there with my husband and kid plus in laws, management was rude (both a girl and a guy), complained about my child crying, yelled at us for coming downstairs to watch the storm that was in progress, wouldn't let some of us in the pool, which the pool was freezing already. Also it would have been nice if our hair dryer would have worked, if the bathroom door would have shut, and also if our cards to our room wouldnt of been deactivated every hour! And of course they complained about our cards being deactivated, as if it was our faults.

Does not have an elevator. If you are on the second floor you will have to walk up stairs. So if a guest is elderly or disabled it is not a good place to stay. Our room was o. K, but not great.

I stayed here for 23 weeks while in town for work. The rooms were clean and quiet. The Wi-Fi was good. The hotel even let me have Cable One install my own cable modem and tivo. (Needed my own internet connection for work and Tivo was so I could record programs. Was working crazy hours. ) Most hotels would never let you do this. But they did. The breakfast in the morning was great. Fresh fruit, waffles, English muffins, and danishes. The staff was very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel.

I have to agree with others that it is dirty (shower) and the phone doesn't work to make calls. Noisy neighbors. If you can afford it go somewhere else. Not worth it.

My brother had a hockey tournament here in Sioux City back in March of 2007 and stayed here. When we checked in, my dad payed with credit card. But then he decided to pay in cash. The lady at the front desk double charged him! REALLY? Then the rooms were dirty as I can remember. The pool was tiny and smelt weird. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Even after 7 years. I would NEVER go back. Case closed.

Comfy beds, nice clean room, decent breakfast waffles, muffins, toast, cereal and yogurt and juice.

My husband went here on business and his work originally said that they needed him to work 7 days. So he booked his room for 7 days at the weekly rate. When he found out he wasn't going to be there the 7 days the hotel said that they can't charge him the weekly rate. That the rate if he's not staying a week was 55 including tax. However when he arrived there, after traveling hours to get there and not arriving until after midnight, he was told that the rate was 67 before taxes. And he was told that if he checked out early he wouldn't get any of the money back that he paid for his room with. So basicaly he would have had to pay for nights he wasn't even there. He was so upset he told them to cancel his room and that he's going to stay somewhere else. They then told him that they would still have to charge him for the whole week stay on the credit card on file since he was canceling it after the cancelation time. Well my husband did leave and he is never going to stay there again and wil never stay at a days inn anywhere else. The treatment he received was ridiculous. He managed to find another hotel brand that would treat him a whole lot better.

DON'T STAY HERE! The room was incredibly dirty. I had to go to Walmart and buy Clorox wipes to clean everything! The non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke and was musty! The front desk staff was grumpy because our arrival interrupted her smoke break. This could not have been a more disgusting hotel. We even found some mystery substance spilled down the side of the mattress and onto the floor. Our credit card had already been charged and so no one was sympathetic to the situation. I repeat. Do not stay here.
