The staff were very accommodating hotel. Managed to get a room on short notice.

No soap in room. Was told they ran out due to Covid. Should have provided something.

I wasn't to impressed with all the kids running up and down the halls till midnight. We went into the bar to have a couple drinks and there was many kids in there even at 10:30pm. and then at 2AM our "neighbors" woke us up fighting and screaming. What was supposed to be a nice quiet night away turned into a loud chaotic night. We should have just stayed home.

This is the first time we have stayed at Stoney Creek and we have been disappointed. The room was dirty. There was a set of fake eyelashes stuck to the bathroom door, the bed sheets didn’t stay on the bed and it seemed like they weren’t the right size. The refrigerator was turned off and we didn’t discover it until the next day after our food was in there all night. The heater/air conditioning unit smelled musty and the fan didn’t work. The bathroom light was flickering and the toilet seat was falling off. There was a swarm of fruit flies next to the juice machine. It was such a disappointing experience overall. We likely won’t be coming back to Stoney Creek again or at least the one in Sioux City.

A neat venue that has lodging, near by eating places, nice large room for events & neat indoor/outdoor pool & hot tub. And meeting rooms.

The wait was pretty bad 2 (hours) after originally check in. But they gave me 2 free drinks and where very polite. Clean and beautiful building.

Person named Leo claiming he was the assistant general manager was very arrogant and disrespectful to my wife and after charging her credit card asked her to leave. My wife calls me bawling her eyes out because she just lost the money for her room in a city we hardly ever frequent. I called and the guy hung up on me. So I booked my wife into a room in a different hotel because there is no way I would allow her to stay in a place that treats there customers that way with staff who are arrogant. Disrespectful, and think thy are walking on water and better than the people who pay there wages.

Over charged and was lied to. I have called and left messages for a call back and no one has called. Furbiture was all stained and broken. Curtains broke. Room was filthy and no one jas been honest or nice for 330. Its ridiculous
still waiting for someone to contact me. Suppose to give me 50 percent off. But hasn't happened yet
would never stay there again
also dog poop on the porch. Ridiculous.

We enjoyed our stay the room was really nice and the hot tub was very welcoming.

Great place! I would definitely book again. Selena at the front desk was wonderful when we came in. Friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. I think she’s a great lady and the the place is so luxurious and comfortable. Peaceful as well with the quiet and the lobby setup. Can’t say enough. Thank you staff! Where I’m from, this place would be the top of the line!

The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel staff were always friendly and asked if there was anything we needed during our stay. They even gave helpful directions to the local nightlife.

Great place. Nicest room is right above the main lobby. Also has a beautiful view of the city. Has a nice jacuzzi, very nice beautiful room. They came and checked on us 5 minutes into our visit to make sure everything was up to par, being that we're in their highest rooms available. And if anything needed changing to call them and let them know. I also called them to see if I can get some plates and some silverware, and they came up almost immediately and brought me those items. Sweetest staff. Best stay. I'd stay here over and over again.

Do NOT buy gift cards from here! Whomever ends up with the gift will still be forced to reserve the room with a CARD. It ends up being a gift that causes the person to have to still have the FULL funds for the room, which in the end ISN'T A GIFT! I don't fault anyone but the hotel itself, this is a bogus policy that doesn't help anyone. (Reply to response… not everyone has a credit card to reserve rooms! ) We ended up being able to use the gift card with help from my parents. That being said I am glad we didn't have to pay for our stay. I do not feel the rooms are worth the price they charge. The staff that I dealt with did not act like they worked at a "nice" hotel. We were pushed out of the breakfast room because we were 5 minutes early and I felt rushed during breakfast as the lady that pushed us out early hovered close to our table with her washrag. I do not plan on using our own funds to stay here.

We had our wedding reception at Stoney Creek this past weekend. They were so easy and great to work with through our entire planning process. The day of they went above and beyond to make it the best day for us. We really felt we got the most for our buck too! Thanks Stoney Creek and staff!

Nice place, good value easy access. Staff very helpful and friendly. Had a bit of a problem with reservation at the online site, but just called the hotel directly and everything went very well. Pet friendly but a little high pet fee. This was our second stay at this location. On the down side, the worst shower head ever. Will stay again but hope they deal with the shower heads. Daughter and her party really enjoyed there stay also. Maybe next time we'll try a suite. Best regards, Gene G.

Very friendly staff which makes any stay that much better. After driving 12hrs to find out our room at another hotel got double booked we got sent here. Glad we did because this is a great place. Keep up the good work staff. You all rock!

They don't air condition any of their interior hallways to the rooms. Always humid and sticky. Rooms are fairly standard size with a woodsy wilderness feel and decor. Beds were comfortable. AC in room worked great. TV's don't seem to be a true high definition. Most stations looked washed out and murky. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special but breakfast room is private from lobby and quite spacious. Rear of lobby was fantastic and favorite place to spend time. Large fireplace, large leather sofa's, an assortment of easy chairs and love seats. We were in Sioux City for a funeral and family was able to congregate in that large social setting comfortably and privately. Hotel staff were friendly and courteous. Thanks for the complimentary hair spray. It was a life safer. Parking is free and ample. Overall, convenient to most everything on the edge of downtown Sioux City.

Excellent hotel. Very nice clean rooms. Amazing courtyard. Extremely polite and courteous staff. Good hot breakfast. Good internet speeds for a hotel. I definitely will stay again if I'm ever in town. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for 1 night over Mother's day weekend. We checked in late around 10pm but were quickly accommodated. Room and bathroom were very clean, with a nice view to the courtyard outside. I enjoyed the rustic lodge feel as well. Good location near I-29 and the event center.

This is my this is my first five star rating of a hotel. Stoney Creek was a fabulous place. It was decorated in wonderful Lodge decor. My room included two double beds a refrigerator microwave and a beautiful bathroom for about $130 for the night.

Amazing hotel! We stayed in a theamed suite and had a birthday get together with family. My brothers room had a massage chair in it, very relaxing! Kids loved swimming and the hot tub in the room. Thank you Stoney Creek!

This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at! From the service to the rooms and the swimming pool. Loved the scene will definitely recommend Stoney Creek.

Liked the rooms. Liked the themes of the rooms. Sheets did not stay on the bed. Bed had to be made several times during the night. Liked the pool with the waterfall to the outside. Breakfast was well managed. Food was hot. Good variety and selection.

Attended an afternoon meeting here. Location was right off the interstate which was convenient. Located downtown so there's a decent enough selection for lunch. Facilities were clean and accommodating.

Well maintained. Very clean. Friendly staff. King sized bed is really comfortable. The pool is AWESOME. The pool goes from the inside of the hotel to the outside. Also, there is a very nice pond to relax next to as you enjoy the weather.

I stayed there when my Mother was critically ill at Mercy Hospital. The staff went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible. It helps to know that a place to stay is one less thing to worry about. They were very flexible when Mom's discharge date was changed several times? I really don't know what I would have done without Stoney Creek!

Nice place stay. Breakfast isn't served until 0630. I needed to leave before that, but they offered me the breads and cold breakfast, which they didn't have to. I would stay there again. The bathroom is just that. It has the toilet and shower. The sink and mirror are in the main room. Since I was traveling alone it didn't matter. I can see an advantages and disadvantages to the vanity being in the main room.

Very nice, clean place to stay. Architecture of hotel is very nice including a fireplace in lobby and friendly knowledgeable staff at desk. Definitely will b back due to location.

A friend had a surprise party in the Admirals Retreat Suite and it was a very nice experience. The suite was decorated in a unique way and it was absolutely massive. After the party we went to the bar for drinks and the bartender was nice and the decor was nice and cozy. I plan on going back for a staycation in the near future and highly recommend it.

Love this hotel. Wilderness Lodge decor is wonderful. Friendly staff. Clean uniquely decorated rooms with comfy beds and your own Keurig. Very good breakfast. Will stay here again and again!

Never stayed there. Looks nice, heard the rooms are kinda pricey. It is a walk away from a hot dog shop, Hard Rock Casino, and Tyson event center, so I'd say it may be worth the stay if you are from somewhere else. Plenty of other things I didn't mention within a mile, including movie theaters, restaurants, bars, car shops, post office. Basically has anything you could want within easy walking distance.

The hotel is in the middle of a remodel but you really couldn't tell. Our room was already done and it was pretty nice. The pool area was nice as well. Breakfast was average. The biggest downside was the TV service was very out of date. Maybe that's part of the remodel who knows.

We stay here alot! They are always fantastic to us and the rooms are wonderful! Try out the pizzas or chocolate/cherry Martini in there bar! Amazing!

The room was very clean and nicely themed. The front lobby area is gorgeous with a nice peak-through fireplace. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet, good service, good stay!

We stay here multiple times a year. This is the best hotel in Sioux City. The service is always great and the hotel and grounds are always clean. They have a very good breakfast. My kids really love staying in the bunk beds too. I highly recommend Stoney Creek Inn.

This was my 1st day of working at Stoney Creek Hotel, Guest Services Front Desk. I loved it the hotel is beautiful, and EVERY ONE is incredibly kind and helpful from top management on down. The employees and guests were happy and smiling. It's like a family and I'm so grateful to be there and a part of it all. Employees and GUESTS know how important their total experience is.

We have stayed here several times and done conferences and weddings. The conference center is spacious and has 3 smaller breakout rooms for smaller gatherings. The rooms are a lodge theme and they have bunk beds for kids! Great place for a vacation or a stay-cation!

I just love the feel of the place. I love going there for just a weekend away or time with the kids. Kids love the pool and hot tub. Food is good. I always look forward to another visit.

One of the best bang for buck hotels I have ever stayed at. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds in the Executive King room. Very clean. Breakfast was very good, enjoyed the scrambled eggs and peppers. Pool was small but fun. It is a indoor/outdoor pool that you can walk back and forth in. A waterfall separates them. The kids enjoyed playing behind the waterfall. This is our second stay at a Stoney Creek. I will search for them whenever we travel.

Comfortable clean bed. Fridge, microwave, and TV. Sink outside of bathroom near door. Bathroom and shower nice. Carpet freely shampooed but not properly dried meant a very damp atmosphere and sticky floor. Wore sandals the whole time. Pool was awesome and hot tub. Walking distance of everything you could want. Great breakfast every morning. Friendly staff and service. Had a very pleasant stay.

Very clean, nice, the rooms are very comfortable and modern. Hot and basic breakfast available. Coffee and you available all day. Very friendly staff. There is a lot of parking and it is in good place in Sioux City.

Great hotel. Great price and helpful staff. Rooms clean and spacious. There was a cute giraffe waiting for me in my room which I added to my bill for my daughter. Unique experience. Downtown you can walk to bars and restaurants.

Absolutely loved the suite! Jetted Jacuzzi big enough for the whole family, closed in balcony sun room and open space for the little one to run around. The atmosphere and decor was very rustic and welcoming. It was a busy weekend with a concert and conferences but it never seemed loud or crazy. The breakfast could be better for the price of the stay and showerhead replaced but overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Rooms were nice and clean. Kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool. Shower heads were mounted over 6 feet tall which was a welcome change from many hotels. Breakfast was decent.

Great rooms with charm, nice beds, a large shower which is my must haves for me in looking at a place to stay while traveling. They also have an indoor/outdoor pool and spa and a fitness center which are enjoyable. Good location too just off the freeway within walking distance of multiple restaurants, an art center, and a casino.

I travel everywhere as a firefighter. This hotel is one of the best in the country when it comes to service. Clean rooms, great atmosphere and very accommodating staff. If there is ever a mix up of any kind it is resolved immediately. The front desk lady Sarah is on it, she deserves a raise! Highly recommended establishment.

I have stayed a couple times now and have really enjoyed it. The rooms themselves are fantastic and very clean. The staff is very nice and helpful as well.

The rooms was very nice. However, when we first got into the room we found a doughnut and nail clippings and our phone was missing the cord from the handset to base. Outside from those minor things it was very enjoyable. When we informed them about the doughnut and nail clippings when checkout the felt really bad and gave us a discount for the state the room was in. Overall I would recommend the hotel.

I had attended the concealed carry course that stoney creek hosts several times a month. The staff was incredibly friendly.

The conference rooms are definitely nice. There were some technical difficulties at the event I attended, but I feel that was more the presenters' faults than the hotel's.

The location is great, a walkable distance from lots of great restaurants and bars. The rooms are nice, flat screen TV's, jacuzzis and porches for the bigger ones. The staff us helpful and friendly.

Rooms are spacious, modern & clean. Service was wonderful, including the wait staff in the banquet rooms. The parking area is large enough to accommodate the many events that they appear to host at one time. Great place to stay overnight, as well as to attend events in their banquet or conference areas.
