Rooms were dirty and the TV didn’t work. No pool or restaurant.

This hotel is awful. Heat didn't work. The pool isn't open. The bistro wasn't open. TV didn't work. Phone didn't work. Nobody seemed to care at all. It's too cold to stay and they expect us to pay even though we didn't/ couldn't stay because it was way too cold! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Clean hotel and friendly staff. Recommend!

Very comfortable beds! I want to take it with me.
Breakfast was not good. They need someone that knows how to cook eggs and potatoes.

Great place! The new management did a great job renovating after the change in ownership. The interior is updated and the rooms are clean. Very nice people at the front desk.

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Bathtub creaked with every movement when standing in it but shower worked just fine.

Just recently stayed here for a basketball tournament that we do every year in Aimes and will most likely continue to book here. Can tell they recently renovated the place and has a great feel to it. Staff members were friendly and very engaging. Had dinner in the restaurant, food was great and very accommodating. Rooms have a great feel to them and felt very comfortable and relaxed especially after a long day. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for a couple days for my brother's graduation and rooms were nice, comfortable bed. I came in thinking I would get the normal stop and go service in a smaller town but the staff were super nice. Food was good too. I'm used to the basic free morning breakfast with the old eggs and stuff but I went into the restaurant and pleasantly surprised.

This property is just “ok”. I would rate as a two — star hotel. All extras require payment. No welcoming coffee or water in the lobby. The $10 breakfast was on par with “free breakfast” at most hotels in this class. The remodeled rooms stopped when they got to the bathrooms. Our toilet ran all night. The tile and shower stalls were old and stained. The good — nice staff and comfortable beds. I would not pay over $99 a night for this property. Hence, the reason we canceled ISU graduation reservations. Love the Radisson Blu Aqua in Chicago. Took a chance on this Radisson and were sadly disappointed.

We ate balsamic chicken for dinner yesterday evening and it was delicious! You will also love the Iowan skillet for breakfast! Staff was very friendly and courteous!

Best bed I've slept in in a long time. Cable didn't work late at night but was in in the morning. Very clean and comfortable.

Enjoyed my visit. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the surroundings. The bed was super comfy and the room was spotless! I will definitely use this hotel every time I am in Ames.

Great Rooms, friendly staff and clean hotel. Slept great on the new mattresses. Nice selection of draft craft beers.

The new renovation came out great on this property! Proximity to the research park and bike paths were very helpful for biking / walking to get to meetings.

Wonderful experience at this hotel. Courteous staff, clean spacious room, amazing breakfast. Definitely my go to hotel in Ames!

The rooms were nice. It was a nice and close for our special Olympics events at ISU.

Nice staff, but outdated workout room… I think from the mid 80's. Continental breakfast is not included in stay, thought that was a bummer, haven't been to a hotel that hasn't offered that, at least on the same level as what your paying for here.

Held a conference there for work, the staff was friendly and helpful. They were quick to provide me with everything I needed.

Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms. Easy access to Iowa state university.

Rooms were well kept and room service left candy for me. Main lobby was a bit dull.

Food can be better and the carpet can be better it looks old.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights. Did not have any problems the whole time we were there. The only gripe with the room we got was the view. When looking outside of the window, we saw the ac unit and other appliances on the roof. Other than the view, our stay was pleasant.

I visited this hotel to participate in a focus group. It was clean and provided a good space for the event.

Not a bad stay. Clean rooms. Decent staff. Would stay again. The prices were however raised due to the campaigning.

It might look a bit dated, but it is a very comfortable hotel to sleep in. And, the breakfast is superb.

Very nice! Clean and comfortable! We got to the hotel before the official check in time, but they were able to get us in early. Then on the day we were scheduled to check out, they worked with us and let us check out a little later. Staff was very nice!
