Whoever was that super sweet lady at the front desk last night, she was amazing! I usually don’t make the time to review hotels but I have to do this one for her :) She truly went above and beyond, … nice to see there are some kind people left, not to mention ones with pride and strong work ethic. Thank you so much!

Great breakfast, cool gym great customer service close to everything restaurants, stores freeway.

Very nice rooms. Comfortable, clean and very modern. Even a phone in the bath room.

Good breakfast, early for the soccer kids. They understand games start at 8am, so hot 6am breakfast is important. Clean room, stuff works. Bring power strip. Don’t expect to link device to room tv.

Stayed at this hotel for a wedding. Every staff member was friendly, polite and helpful. Pool is a bit small, but clean. Nice continental breakfast in the mornings.

Nice, clean and quiet hotel. Easy to get to from the highway and only 15 minutes from downtown Rockford. Good value.

This place is visual great. Rooms appear clean and spacious. The lobby is beautiful the interaction I had with staff is great now here I why the 3 star review… Your beds are so uncomfortable I tossed and turned all night. They are as hard as bricks and I think the thing I need most on vacation is a good rest. The beds need updated so bad and I find myself super underwhlemed by the quality of the bed. Why have all this nice stuff to be let down on the main attraction. If I was rating the beds alone they would be 1 star just because you have good pillows. Please tell me your working on replacing these god awful beds. I'm not so much looking forward to my next two nights here.

The room was a good size and breakfast had a good variety of food, but the mattresses were to hard for our liking.

Accommodations were great, no issues checking in, and the breakfast was not just bagels. It was omlettes, eggs, bacon, bagels, yogurt, coffee, OJ, etc. All in a buffet style. Everything cleanly.

Great location, Renee at the front desk is awesome. There was a fire drill but the situation was explained and staff did what they could to mollify guests.

Location in anywhere USA unless you like chili's or other chains. Totalling depressing area. Wish there was a downtown option. Hotel was clean but carpets dated. Hot tub broken. No stairs to be found anywhere. Elevator only convenient option even for second floor.

Everything was great. And super fast wireless internet (but for some reason wired/Ethernet was slow and capped) and loved the hot tub.

Check-in was quick and easy. The night staff does an amazing job with customer service. Rooms are clean, easy location and room service is Awesome.

The location was easy to find. Service was excellent. My husband is a Marriott member and they offered me and him a free water. They even called our room to make sure everything was good for us. They have been the nicest employees I have come across when staying at a hotel.

The only bad thing about this place is the tiny pool and it's not open 24/7. When I stay at a hotel I'd like to enjoy to pool with little to no people. Other than that everything is great. Clean rooms, great breakfast, and nice employees.

Big room, very clean. The bedding was clean and soft. The bed was comfy and pillows fluffy. More expensive than other places, but the quality was with it. Wish I could've stuck around for breakfast, but I left early so I am just rating on room quality.

It was alright! A very typical Fairfield but what really shined was the customer service. The staff was courteous, and helpful, and I'm sure they'd do everything they can to make sure your stay is nice, too.

Easy, swift and congenial check in. Room was clean and contemporary. Beautiful new and cheerful botanical carpets. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Overall a great experience.

This is a pretty nice place to stay in Rockford. I come here every so often for work, and this is one of the nicer places. The price was surprisingly low.

Nice hotel, good location. Room were fine, but like most Fairfield the pillow and bed are firmer than my liking.

Comodo. This Hotel, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Rockford, offers a customer service fairly friendly. The hotel is located quite near a gas station with convenience store (convenience store), which is convenient to make several purchases necessary last-minute.

Decent affordable place to stay. Allowed late check-out which was great. Probably the best Marriot in the area. Downsides: pillows were really squishy and uncomfortable, ac made a whining sound all night, and curtains let a great deal of light in.

Beautiful hotel with modern, cozy rooms and very comfortable beds. Everyone had a great nights sleep and an enjoyable breakfast the next morning.

Great stay. Service was awesome. Breakfast was great. Kitchen staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive. Room was clean and comfortable.

No microwaves in the rooms. They also locked out ALL the ports on the back of the TV's. So if you have children, or yourself, like to use a video game or Firestick, don't go there. Why would they do this? After my initial review, the management and staff have bent over backward to try to make my stay (going on three months now) as comfortable as possible. Aside from the TV problems (which they tried to resolve) my stay has been wonderful.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was good. The only tiny issue was that the AC seemed to want to stop during the night.

I have had had multiple 1-4 day stays at the Fairfield Inn in Rockford since Jan 2017 for business. The hotel is clear, modern, with competent friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is consistently excellent. Location is excellent with many restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this hotel especially for business travelers!

Excellent Property, Clean, Up to Date, Stylish and Comfortable. Friendly staff, nice location for dining and shopping. When we need a night away, Rockford is far enough to be interesting, but close enough to be convenient. Despite it's reputation, Rockford is a great city with hundreds of good restaurants, and more than it's fair share of great restaurants. The Forest City Queen Riverboat — along with the riverfront in general — is a gem, and the Anderson Japanese Gardens a…re a beautiful and tranquil escape. Cherryvale Mall and it's environs have everything that my girls need for shopping. If the rain comes, Showplace 16 is close by if one wants to catch a flick. Whenever we come to Rockford, we always stay here, and we've never had a bad experience. Plus, it's close proximity to Steak 'N Shake makes for a great midnight snack. The city and the hotel are highly recommended to anyone.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Nice, clean, very well maintained property. Rooms are spotless. Alice, night stuff manager took a great care of us, personally assisting with a check in process. Good breakfast, roomy space. Definitely will stay again! Thank you guys for making my stay very enjoyable!

The service was perfect. They asked after every need, and offer help that I didn't know they could offer. The conversations were real and genuine. They made my wife and two sons feel at home. We will come back for sure.

The staff was welcoming upon arrival. The hotel was clean inside and out. Got in late so checked in, slept, got up, breakfast, and checked out. The breakfast had a nice variety. Bagels, bread, muffins, and fruit was fresh. Staff was pleasant upon checking out, too. It's in a super convenient location close to the highway, plenty of choices to eat, fuel nearby. I'd stay here again if the need arises.

Clean hotel with a very friendly staff. King room is very tight though so recommend a suite if you need more space. Overall a decent stop near the highway when traveling. Close to Road Ranger gas station and many food options. Would recommend the Machine Shed restaurant if you have time.
