Health department should be called on this place kids are running it very unprofessional people. The staff need some Serious training.

Overcharged! I was supposed to be charged 101.46 for 1 night stay… they charged me $110 3 different times and $90 once. I’m still waiting for my refund and every person I talk to treats me like 💩 and is NO HELP IN RETURNING MY MONEY!

Courtyard is always our go to in any state. The rooms a spacious, clean, comfortable and safe! The beds are always wonderful!

I want to start by saying my mother who had a reservations for April 3 2021 at your hotel did not receive welcoming service after she travel over 600 miles to visit her son in the ICU she was treated like trash at ur establishment. The check in clerks where very rude and didn’t want to service her my mother is disabled and elderly and was treated like crap this is very disturbing and I would like to thank your company for showing us we are not welcomed at your hotel.

Excellent hotel, I recommend it.

Room smelled musty! You have to walk a mile to get to lobby. Breakfast is included is a joke unless you like oatmeal soup!

Small conveniences like ordering movies don’t work. Front desk unhelpful. Can’t even call front desk from room because the buttons are missing from phone. TV is old and quality is bad. No duvet beds which is what Marriotts are known for. Do not recommend this place.

Very nice staff. Beds were clean and comfortable. But the rooms themselves were kinda dirty.

Helpful and friendly staff. Rooms, lobby, and halls all looked, felt and smelled clean. They encourage eco-friendly habits and offer rewards for things like skipped room service.

Really, really nice hotel. From the size of it I thought ehh… it isn't gonna be that great. But I was wrong. Had a living room and decently sized room, balcony, pool, gym, bar, courtyard (like in the name) … a lot. Plus the employees were great. Recommend.

I loved that they had nice soap and shampoo in the hotel. Green tea shampoo was nice, they have it in a fixture to avoid removing it from the hotel which is a great exchange for having quality stuff in the shower. No microwave, which would have been nice but overall it was a good experience.

Enjoyed my stay but nothing fancy. The place à little run down. The units can a bit cleaner. The staff are generally friendly and helpful.

Rented a room for bridal shower and it was very lovely. Reasonably priced a nice size face for 40 people and the staff was great.

Nice lounge! I was pleasantly surprised by the lobby which had a coffee shop/bar/restaurant. Everything was modern and clean and the staff was very friendly.

Overall not a bad hotel. The building is a little dated, but the rooms and lobby are up to date. Staff was very friendly as always. It's a good location with a lot of restaurants within a short drive. Parking kind of sucks because you have to park in back and walk around to the front.

Nice facility and clean, easy access to rooms, as expected with typical courtyard by Marriott. Convenient location, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, etc. Very short stay with a room it’s only problem was that the deadbolt wanted to stick out every time I walk out, so had to turn around and twist my arm to fix it… annoying. Loved the breakfast I ordered, though it came with high calorie. Staff can show a bit more hospitality imho.

Very Beautiful hotel! Jake, who checked us in was very knowledgeable and directed us to our rooms with ease. Even told us where to park and what door to use to get to our rooms easier. My room was gorgeous! Loved my balcony! And had plenty of extra towels I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family!

An okay Hotel that seems to be accommodating. A snow plow ran all night next to my room so besides for that the stay was pretty good. The little restaurant / bar was kind of pricey for what you actually got.

Nice hotel but what's with the elevators at the complete other side of the hotel and not right by the lobby? Comfortable, CLEAN ROOMS with balcony nice touch! NICE STAFF.

Really nice place to lodge. The receptionists were very helpful. They went out their way to make sure I was able to find Budget Rental car. Just so friendly.

This is my favourite hotel in the Rockford area. Modern, clean, quiet, great room&beds, great pool&hot tub, nice gym, very good breakfast. Staff have always been courteous.

The four stars are for the staff. Everytime I've been there (5 times now) the staff has been super helpful and welcoming. (This is not a native Rockford trait, at least when I lived there) I left off the fifth star for maintenance and housekeeping issues. I was able to write "dust me" on the side of the dresser… Night stands were even worse.

The hotel is in the same area as all the other Rockford hotels, we honestly just choose this one for the pool. This time our room was incredibly dusty. Like you could write on the dust on all the furniture.

The actual rooms were nice and the gentleman at the check in was nice and did his best with what he could. The reason for low rating is because we went to check in for a gymnastics meet, as this was the hosting hotel listed and they didn't have a room for us. This was the hosting hotel and we had rsservations, and it was 8:00pm. We waited 30 min in the lobby and they were able to come up with a room and get it cleaned. The receptionist apologized multiple times and said he would give us free breakfast in the morning for all of the inconveniences… we went to breakfast the next morning and long, behold… no free breakfast. So we then spent $9 on 2 muffins and a glass of orange juice. Nice rooms, but poorly planned/set up for a hosting hotel for a large event.

Once again very pleased with the courtyard branding by Marriott beautiful rooms outstanding service everything you would expect from the Marriott brand of hotels.

Not sure what the others were talking about with good rates. This place is crazy overpriced for the Rockford hotel market. It's right off the highway but pretty far from the downtown area. Room and hotel were clean, but very small for the price. Bottle of water and soda costed $9.12

Nice lobby and rooms. Don't love the breakfast selection. Also the gym could use some mats for stretching and floor exercises.

Very nice accommodations. Hotel has a pool, and an extremely nice workout room. The restaurant can be hit-or-miss. During my last day they were closed on a Thursday night due to a call in. No backup.

Friendly staff, and nice location (close to highway and shopping). You can tell they have recently updated the hotel and are still in the process of updating parts of it. It's a good value but there are likely newer hotels nearby for comparable prices. The layout of the hotel with only one elevator and the large courtyard in the middle dues make it a challenge to get to your room quickly if it's not located near the elevator.

Checked in for a wedding. The place itself was nice but was surprised they didn't have complimentary breakfast. Food was overpriced. Only thing to complain about was the fact that many of my family members had reserved a room way in advance, and they show up (from a 2 hour drive) with no room to stay. Very frustrating that they tried to give them a room for free. From red roof. Place & value doesn't even compare!

We stayed last night,,, we have to pay if we will watch TV and there's a breakfast but we have to pay,,,, but it's okay as long as we have a room to sleep. The first hotel that we ever stay that they don't have free breakfast and can't watch tv… but good thing it's free Wi-Fi and we don't need to watch tv…

We stayed at the Courtyard and loved it. Everything was clean, everything worked, the staff was friendly, the environment was relatively quiet. The biggest issue staying there is finding the side street off of Bell School Road to get there. You can't get there via State Street.

Pretty good hotel. Prices are reasonable, breakfasts could be better though. All in all it's pretty old and needs to be refreshed. It has a small swimming pool inside and really nice & cozy patio.

I was visiting the hotel to meet with friends before going to a wedding. I had not gone into any room at this location, however while staying in the lobby the hotel from what I saw was a very nice hotel. While sitting in the lobby I overheard the staff talking with some potential guests, of which the hotel overbooked. The hotel offered the guests to stay at a hotel nearby at the expense of the Courtyard by Marriott Rockford. Where it stinks that the guests where not able to stay at the hotel they booked, it was great the hotel offered to pay for their stay at the other hotel. Since I couldn't see everything the hotel had to offer I would rate the hotel 4/5 for what I saw. The staff and policies of the hotel I would rank 5/5 for how helpful they were to me and the guests I overheard from. Overall 4.5/5 for my experience at this hotel.

Super super nice friendly staff. There is a nice courtyard to hang out and a nice indoor pool. We came as a family for a soccer tournament. The hotel was full but it was still quiet which was impressive. The room was nice and clean. It was a nice place to stay.

My stay was very enjoyable. The room was nice, clean and the bed was especially comfortable. Staff was polite. I didn't have the chance to use it but there's an indoor pool and a cute outdoor courtyard. I would definitely stay here again.

I paid $125.00 for a room and that was a deal through Groupon. This place is beautiful and the room was wonderful. Beautifully designed… the latest in tech support. The pool was clean. I paid a premium price for this room and was surprised when the Marriott does not offer a continental breakfast of some sort. In fact, I paid $3.95 for a 6 oz. Black tea.
We enjoyed our experience but will not return. We have too many choices out there for Marriott to had this extra expense on top of what is already highly priced room. Connie.

Nice, updated, big rooms. Mini fridge was a huge plus. Facilities were newly renovated, the lobby had a nice breakfast and bar area, and the location is great.

Courtyard Rockford is a very spacious hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly service.

Nice clean rooms at a resonance rate. Workout room, pool, and food drink bar all were great, clean, and convenient.

Nice staff. Room was very clean and tidy. Nice view out the window into the center of the complex.

Mark at the front desk was awesome. I was part of a flight crew that got stuck on Rockford for the night. Mark actually gave me his personal phone charger to borrow.

We spent a week visiting family in Rockford and the Courtyard was the best place to stay. With their Courtyard so beautiful and welcoming. We gathered there. It was like our own backyard. Great outdoor furniture. Our room was wonderful. The staff worked around our grandsons nap time for cleaning. And a huge bonus was having Starbucks available. And I want to mention that it was very reasonable to do our laundry too. Thank you for the home away from home feeling for the full week. Your desk staff was so accommodating and made you feel like you were their owown personal guest. A great visit. We will stay there whenever we can.

The worse of the year/el peor hotel del año/ l'hotel le plus nul de l'année. I have booked this hotel for full week and they put first in a dirty and noisy room after been to the reception they offer an other room but as noisy and dirty as the first at list the bill was not correct and they charge me extra price over the original I have to complain and they didn't apply the right rate. It's not a three star hotel no real breakfast room from ages … A V O I D preferable to book local bed and breakfast.

I am mystery shopper. I called in today amd spoke with teddy. She was very sweet and gave me the weekly rates. She was very upbeat and listened to all of my needs. I will definatly be staying.
