The people that work here are great. Nice, friendly, try to help with what they can, but… this is a trip back to the early 70's without the amenities! No elevators, stuffy halls and rooms. Carpets dirty. Locks to doors that keep unwanted visitors out of bldg do not work, ice machines all broke. Hair in towels, so bring your own. Limited electrical outlets. There were no other hotel rooms available close by. So I was stuck here. I did have a roof over my head and I was warm and dry.

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. This hotel is disgusting. The only thing that’s been updated is the lobby. Our room had mold on the floor by the AC and on the ceiling above the shower. The floors were wet the entire 3 days & never dried. It smelt. The sheets had stains on them. Not sure if they were ever even washed. The AC would not blow cold air. Just felt like humid air blowing the whole time. We expected more being that It’s owned by Wyndham. But they are obviously more worried about the money they have coming in every week rather than fixing the problems it has. The ice machines did not work. The pool & hot tub were out of service. They said hotel breakfast was served at 6am and they weren’t even near ready when we went down at 6:10am. Absolutely DO NOT STAY HERE! I left sick. I don’t know what I was breathing in while being there.

Pool was closed by health department! Not communicated to us till checkin. Morning continental was a joke. Luke warm coffee, milk, equal, dry cereal and powdered donuts… Older building that had seen no remodeling… very disappointed. Room wasn't cleaned once… in are three day stay, and they never answered the phone at front desk. Only positive is the location and a nice photo montage of young Navy personnel that have stayed there.

The staff was friendly, the room cooled down pretty well, and the bed/pillows were great. The pool was shut down by the health department, for "immediate health concerns", which did not make me" feel better about staying there. Visually, the hotel, halls, and rooms were not appealing. There was an odd smell, that may be from the hotel being old. The carpet definitely needed shampooed in our room and the shower pooled at our feet, it did not drain well. It definitely needs a lot of love. But it had and excelled at the basics.

This was a tough one, the people working the front desk are so nice, helpful and seem know that the hotel is falling apart. Bless your hearts! Strong work, I know you all must deal with complaints constantly and some scummy people with your hotels cheap price point. All the best to the staff of this hotel. However, and this is hard for me, this hotel is in terrible condition, water damage, smell of mold throughout, my room was dirty, like sleep with my clothes on dirty, and the place is noisy full of inconsiderate people who booked the cheapest rate in town. I honestly don’t think the facility is up to code, health inspectors will probably shut the place down. Corners in the room were bulging from water damage and upon closer inspection, visible mold. Popcorn ceilings are sloughing off material that may or may not have asbestos depending on when the building was constructed. Again, wonderful staff I interacted with 3 different folks and they were just great. But I cannot with good conscious recommend staying at this hotel for any reason.

I made sure this place had a pool. I was a late check in and asked the man what time was breakfast and what time the pool opened. The next morning I came down for breakfast and there was none. There was no one at the front desk after waiting 15 min. For someone to come it was the manager. She said that I had misses breakfast. I told her the hours I was told and who had informed me. Her response was oh well he is new. She then told me their pool was closed for maintenance. Which the man did not tell me or the person when we booked. The house keepers never came to our room. The next morning I made it down to breakfast with the hours that the manager gave me. The breakfast was a joke. It was only cereal and a gallon of milk. I was scared to even touch the milk that has need just sitting out. I then informed the manager that housekeeping never came and I would like clean towels to shower before I checked out please. She assured me that someone would bring then right up to my room. Two hours later and still no clean towels. It was time to check out. Again the same manager at the front desk when I checked out. I told her I never go the clean towels. I was very unhappy with my stay. Sad that the manager herself did not even try to accommodate me or try to make my stay more pleasant. I will never go back to this motel again.

Air conditioning was not working properly. There was a horrible smell in the building. They do not serve breakfast on weekdays or holidays which is not stated on their website. Wi-Fi did not work for more than 5 minutes. If you want a place to sleep and leave, it's cheap and tolerable. Cleanliness was not great but it was okay. I suggest avoiding it if you can.

It an okay hotel, the price is somewhat ok Friendly staff & no rude neighbors. The hotel cleaning is horrible; the carpets are old and dirty with stains not like the pictures, the tables and window are half cleaned and the walls and ceiling and paint are old and peeling and rotten. Honestly for the price it should’ve had a better look. The gym is very old and ok. I recommend this hotel if your just staying here for a day or two and they have comfy beds. I just checked out today.

Horrible experience. Made reservations ahead of time to get there and be told our reservation were accidentally canceled. The customer services we received to address this issue is was horrific. We were told to come back by multiple different times to try to reissue a room but of course that never happened. Everyone had a different excuse very poor customer service. It wasn’t the point that weren’t charged. The point is we were badly inconvenienced and had to research alternative hotels at the last minute which took hours with this being navy graduation. And not one person we talked to apologized for the mess up very disappointed and disgusted with this experience.!

I traveled here for my sons graduation from Navy boot camp. I was a little concerned at first because because of some reviews. I booked online and got a great price. Rooms are clean and the staff is great. The guy at the front desk was great and very helpful. The housekeeper and maintenance guy I spoke with were both very nice and polite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone making a trip to waukegan.

The worst hotel I have ever been in. Smells like cigarettes, there's week old coffee stains, doors won't open in case of an emergency. No handicap service. Can't believe the Navy recommends this.

The Hotel as two different sides with two different stays one was great and the staff where very nice and helpfull and the room was very clean and nice and it at a large Flat screen TV your own thermostat to set the room at the the temperature that is right for you as you feel and it is so nice that it makes sleeping a lot more comfortable to handle just as you would be at home. I would say stay at the Ramada for sure for a gateway with the wife. The last few time I was here I had room's that were completely out of date and had so many things wrong in the room's marks on the table, stains on the floor mark's on the door's you were unable to set the temperature in the room the way you would like it and one day I stayed and was going to the room I was given the hall had a really bad smell of pee.

Best for your dollar, only complaint was smelled like an old man or mold whichever. Could not get the free Wi-Fi to work, no one would answer the phone at the front desk when you call from your room. Other than that no complaints. It is very convenient to get to base for graduation.

Terrible! Cob webs on the ceiling but no sign of the spider that made them; the carpet was torn in the entry way. The furniture was about 30 years-old and all scratched up. A floor lamp with no place near it to plug it in; the lamp between the beds had a hole in the shade; the window curtain was coming off its base; the bathroom door was painted dark brown and it was obvious that it had been kicked open from the inside; went to make coffee this morning and the big spider that made all of the cob webs on the ceiling came crawling down the wall to help me. And, to top it all off, the indoor swimming pool was closed for the "season".

I will NEVER stay here again. Rooms are not cleaned properly. There was BLOOD on the back of the bathroom door and door knob. It was not a drop or two either. Disgusting not to mention hazardous! The indoor pool was "closed for the season". I didn't know indoor pools had seasons. The breakfast is a joke. Warning to all. Find another place.

Older motel and shows it. 3 star's is a stretch strong. Front desk service was attentive and helpful, House keeping was good, clean beds & rooms. Had issue with toilet flushing properly maintenance was prompt but did not solve problem but still functional with bowl plunger which staff gave us to use. Indoor pool closed for winter!. Sports bar has good food & drinks. Continental breakfast was a joke unless you like cheap powdered donuts, very ripe bananas and bad coffee. Was her for Navy Graduation put up with accommodation too late for different hotel. 15 mins to base, shuttle runs to late. Would not recommend unless you don't mind being cheap or just a place to lay your head down for the night. Will attempt to get a partial refund not a 140$ night room.

Sorry, not happy, with this kind of trashy hotel. It rates 4+ stars on expedia. I don't see it. Staff nice enough. Our hall reeked of the smell of weed, ice machine distant from room, and no ice, had to go down and around to get ice. Other hallways smelled better, at least.

The bartenders were extremely friendly and the food was great! The location was very convenient and close to naval base. However, there were no elevators so my elder parents had to go up and down stairs, the hallway smelled of smoke and marijuanna, the floors were disgusting, the chairs in our room we're stained, and the rooms were small and gross. I wouldn't recommend staying there. The hotel needs to be updated.

The manager is very nice and accommodating. Which is the reason why I gave this place so many stars. As for the hotel itself, it's very run down. There were ants in the bathroom and the wall paper was peeling off. The beds were very old and uncomfortable because of the sag in the middle. Which made me feel like I was almost folded in half. The room seemed clean but I didn't really want to look to much cause I personally didn't want to know. I've definitely stayed at motel 6's that were better by a long ways.

The staff at the Ramada Inn were very nice. That is the only good thing I can say about this facility. It smelled like pot upon entering. The facility is very run down and smells. They use a lot of carpet fresh to try to mark the odor. The paint is peeling. The floors are filthy. The furniture is falling apart. This was the worse place I have ever stayed. We were there for Navy graduation. We checked out after the first night we had gotten in late or we would not have stayed. This is certainly not the place I wanted to bring my new soldier too.

Whoever is the new owner completely ruined the place from 3 or 4 years ago last time I stayed. They shut down the pool and hot tub for the season and over charge for a room that isn't even a decent room. Employees are under educated and completely bad management. I would never go here again with the new person that owns this place. They ruined a completely good hotel that it was 3 or 4 years ago.

Was here in extreme cold weather, snow and ice nonstop. The floor was constantly wet near the door. I called and complained, they assured me it was fixed. So I walked around the room in my socks. By the time I left every single pair of my socks had gotten wet. This made it very hard to enjoy the newly graduated Navy friend of mine. Wet socks in negative degrees is pure torture. When I told them about the problem they didn't seem to care at all.

The location is on the strip of Greenbay rd motel/hotels the fill during the Greatlakes Navy bootcamp graduation. The staff is amazing and friendly! I encountered the front desk staff, maintenance staff and several housekeepers, and they are helpful, sweet and friendly! The hotel currently does NOT have a pool as advertised, which had been the major reason why we booked an entire week here. The room is better and bigger than most but 2 of outside doors do not work. There is peeling paint in the room and bathroom, but overall the furniture matches and the room is decently to well cleaned. This is a NON SMOKING facility and a $500 deposit has to be put down in order to stay. Nice hotel, there is a bar and restaurant connected with gaming that pays out. Will consider staying again next time we are in the area!

Came to check in, there is a sign on the desk that says "be back in 5 minutes" 20 minutes later a gentleman cones up and apologized saying he was the only one on shift. We check in, come to the room, and go to call the bar attached to the hotel to order food… The phone doesn't work, I pick it up to see if the ohone cord is connected to the back and cone to find out, something CHEWED through it. So I took it to the front desk, and got a discount on my stay. 2 days later I go to get in my room and can't. My keys don't work. Go to the front desk and someone MOVED my reservation to a completely different room on a different floor, and didn't inform me. I have never stayed in a less out together Ramada inn. And I still don't know what chewed through my phone cord.

There was mice in the rooms. The showers are never clean. The phones do not work. The heat does not work and it was 30 degrees outside. There is no one ever at the front desk and management doesn't care. The showers stop up so the tub fills up if you try to take a shower. The bedding had lipstick on it and the towels had a red stain. It was truly appalling and I wish I could get my money back. It seems soooo unsanitary. Extremely disgusted and dissatisfied.

Stay away! rate this hotel less than a star. Started off with walking through hallways and it smelling like water, mold, and mildew. Walked up the stairs to our room smelled like drugs and cigarettes — we requested a non smoking room and it was but apparently rules were being broken. Our actual room smelled terrible we actually bought febreeze to spray throughout the room to help with the smell.   We felt we were taken advantage of having gone here for a family members Navy graduation. My family and I are very disappointed with the hotel quality and the customer service. No housekeeping was done and no breakfast as advertised. Was a decent place to stay. They have a shuttle to the naval graduation, and you can easily catch an Uber to the train station to go to Chicago. Room was clean. The window leaked when it rained and the shower curtain was torn. Also we stayed 4 days and only saw maid 1 time. But I would stay here again.

For the price it was OK. Stained carpet in the room but everything else was fine. Pool area was very dark. Not enough lighting. The staff was very nice and responsive though. For the money I'd say its a decent place. The attached bar was a bonus.

We found this hotel by searching for places to stay for a Navy graduation. The pics online are extremely misleading, I have never been to such a run down place, it was filthy & very stinky. Nothing online matched what was actually on site. Very disappointing. The ONLY good thing was, they refunded our $ without question. They didn't seem to care, or even ask why we were disappointed & never offered to make any changes. Very sad:/

I haven't stayed in a hotel as stinky as this spot since I was a teenager, and that's only because I didn't know better. The hotel smells like there has been severe water damage throughout and it reeks of mildew and mold. The room has the smell and look the makes you immediately check for bed bugs. The smell is so strong that it's making my head hurt. Of course we complained and of course they denied that they even smell what we smell as if my nose brought the smell with us, and of course they claimed to have been completely sold out of all the rooms… and as I could imagine because like myself, I'm here because my daughter is graduating from the navy Bootcamp and I'm sure there are plenty others here for that same reason… and the hotel knows that people travel and come here if not for that one reason alone because the hotel is five minutes away from the navy base and to be forced to stay in such filth is so unfair. We don't want to bring our Sailor here to chill with us… Hell we don't want to be here. I wanted to sleep in the rental. Find another hotel, trust me, you won't regret it. Oh and it was a bug in our room, the tub wasn't cleaned and the bathroom floor was dirty dirty… like for real dirty. And then for the staff to act like they don't smell what I smell is insulting. I'm so upset.

Pictures online look great, but don't let them fool you. Read the reviews before you book. Mold in rooms, crumbs on bed, damp sheets. Smell was absolutely terrible. Bought Lysol to freshen up the room. Walls thin as can be. Front desk was very accommodating to get us a new room, but still not worth the stay. Look elsewhere for a hotel in Waukegan.

This hotel was not the best experience — carpets smell terrible in the hallway and over all just stinks. Carpets in room also very dingy. Outdated and small also does not look like the pictures online. Primarly the stench penetrates everything which is the worst, I would advise to stay here only if on a tight budget.

Lobby is nice, but very deceiving… and the pictures on the website DO NOT depict the true look of this place at all… aside from the one pic of the check in desk… the rest of the place needs serious attention. Carpets smell very musty and dirty both in the room and in all of the hallways. Landscaping could use an upgrade as well, too many overgrown trees and bushes near doorways. Lights outside don't always work, leaving parking areas very dark and dangerous. Needs new paint in and out but smell inside indicates most likely needs to be checked for mold first. Will not come back. Employees did not seem very interested in helping out with questions you had and gave answers such as 'I have no idea' but went no further to help you out. Bar was a joke, only about 6 different bottles — not a full bar like the picture on the website — and had a few 2 liters of warm soda to go with it, served by some guy who was not a bartender. The atm in the bar didn't work nor did jukebox due to Wi-Fi not being available. Just a serious lack of attention beyond the lobby, I can see why nobody seemed thrilled to be working there. Probably glad we didn't get to the pool or fitness center.

The hotel is more susio and biejo that we have been. The pool had the super cold water, the hot tub was not working, breakfast was so poor they had no nothing. And the bathrooms were filthy susios and very bad… I not recommend holian

We not recommended anyone to this hotel. Smell bad and it does not look like in the pictures. I book this hotel for 2 nights and couldn't do it for one more night. Change hotel… very disappointed… would NOT ever book this hotel EVER AGAIN. If I have a choice this place would not even get a star atrek all. The front desk lady was nice but other than that everything was horrible. So who ever is looking into this hotel DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Go to a better hotel.

Room me and my sister got is really bad it's smells bad it has ripped things inside. Recommend you guys getting a bigger nicer hotel the pool is filthy nasty all green just disappointed trying to find another one last min THIS IS NOTHING LIKE THE PCTURES THAT SHOW BESIDES THE ENTRANCE THEY INEED TOO REMOLDE AND IMPROVE IN A LOT OF THINGS!

I had a good stay at the Ramada in not to long ago I frequent their service is always good I was hoping the hother tube was working everytime I go it never seems to be and the steam room was locked but the pool was cool and the lady at the front desk was very friendly during my checkout room is nice size and they gave me a nice amount of pillows which I always like when it comes to me laying down at night all in all a satisfied customer.

Lobby and rooms look recently updated. The rest of the hotel is old and it shows, but the price is right with free breakfast. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

Absolute nightmare! Front desk lady was the only good thing about this place! Our first night wasn't horrible. But still not a fun experience. When we arrived there were absolutely no parking spots left anywhere even near the front door. We did arrive pretty late so it's kind of understandable but we just went straight to bed after check-in. Did notice what looked like mold in the bathroom. Room was very unkept. Meaning it looked like nothing had been maintained. No updates or anything to better the room. Wasn't able to even use the pool the second day because of the very rude and obnoxious kids who were in there unattended. Second and last night (THANK GOD IT WAS THE LAST) we were exhausted and just wanted to relax a little bit at about 9-9:30 pm so we climbed into bed to just watch a little TV before bed since we were needing to be up pretty early the next morning. Then after only about 5 min of peace and quiet there was screaming from going on what seemed like all around us… rooms surrounding us. In the hallway… EVERYWHERE. There were obnoxious kids running up and down the hallway… repeatedly. The screaming didn't stop for over a couple hours. Apparently people were fighting with each other and wanted everyone to know about it. They were slamming doors over and over and over again. We really wanted to just checkout and drive 4 hours home to just be able to sleep that night. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Front disk worker threaten a Veteran with family to cancel the reservation. Hi, I'm a veteran took my family for getaway weekend in Ramada in Waukegan IL, On April 2, 2016, I booked 3 rooms, got there at 1pm, They told me the check in is at 3 pm,, I took my family for lunch in very bad storm wether, came back at 3:30 my 3 rooms still not ready, I asked why, I have 6 kids with me I can't take them out again its bad weather, the room should be ready for us at 3pm. The front disk worker named (Patrica) threaten me to cancel my reservation if I don’t be quit and stay back. She had very bad attitude. Her Co worker named (Josh) asked her to go inside the office, and tried to help us with our rooms, after 20 minutes waiting the rooms were ready, but very dirty, My advice to you all, Don't west your money. I will contact the management about this, also I will post this massage on Youtube. I want every one to know my story.

I wouldn't even give this hotel a star if I didn't have to to make a review. Public announcement to everyone with children or without kids thats going to this location on grand in waukegan il when I say me and my miltary family spent our money at this hotel! let me tell you what happen. On april 3, 2016 we got a room at this location everything looked nice we went for a swim for about in hour. Came back to the room at this time things where going pretty good we went out for dinner came back around 10.00 pm. Around thats time it was bedtime to lay our littles ones down as we laying in there bed I see my little one year keep crying out the blue so I didnt think anything of it just he probably were just fighting his sleep. He stop after a while so we laying there going to sleep my husband and i. Started to feel some crawling on us we got up and turned on there light and there it was bed bugs everywhere all in my kids hair on there clothes under the sheets and our bed to! my baby got bitting up so bed his face was swollen my husband instinctly ran to front desk and ask for a refund the men argure with my husband about 20 min. He gave my husband another room but at this time im getting my kids together to take them to the er. And my husband went to room 212. Were they change the room and guess what bed bug under they mattress and around they head bug. And lamps if I could post this picture and video this hotel would be shut down im filing a law suite at this location.

Terrible & in a crummy area. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I'm shocked that it's a Ramada. It's smelly, a complete maze and had the slowest check-in I've ever experienced. The bathroom was dirty & hairy, they had a long stained throw pillow on the bed, pressed up against the "clean" pillows you're meant to sleep upon & the carpet was covered with stains.

The staff at the Ramada Waukegan/Gurnee where great and you get a free breakfast it's not the best breakfast you can have yet it being free with the room it's not bad at all and the room was very nice and me and my wife have stayed here before many times before thay gave us a upgraded room that was very nice as it has a nice refrigerator and microwave in the room so you can get some food out and make your own dinner and that is very nice to have in the room or any room.

It was fine. Nice bar downstairs. Nice pool. Room was on second floor and it was clean. Looked like it was renovated recently. We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very nice and helpful for directions to Navy base graduation. Thank You!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. This was one of the worst places I have EVER spent time in. Do not book people! We had to switch rooms 4 times. Only to end up in a moldy, poorly maintained room that was indeed an upgrade over the initial rooms. The room keys work sometimes, and the building was musty/funky. Turns out they had a flood and failed to advertise it to potential patrons. The pool/spa tub were both out of order, and the overall condition of the rooms and hall ways are sub par. The best thing they could do is close this hotel, and do a total re-model. Better yet, demolish it and re-build.

It sucks I had to give this a 1 star just to write a review about this place! It dont even deserve that! Halls are smelly walls and floors are dirty smells like smoke and mildew. Our TV wasnt working right buttons didnt work! They had the pool closed because chemical treatment. Which was one reason we came here to swim. This place is a joke and dont understand how Ramada could accept this place as a chain dont be fooled with the front check it out before you come here! There is so much moisture in the rooms feels like the floors are wet. They should be embarrassed to running it like this! I wonder how there personal homes look! Beware this place isnt worth it drive to gurnee which is another 10mins away more hotels u may pay more but worth it!

The purchase was solely due to a Hotwire deal. As a result, I may never use Hotwire again! The decor was horrible! The room and the hallways smelled of mature mold and mildew. The shower had what appeared to be black mold above it. Needless to say I lost money, because I definitely checked out I could not stay another night in that hotel. Do yourself a favor just don't.

Can I put zero stars? This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in hands down, mold everywhere. We have transferred rooms twice, because of unsanitary. Still the current room we are in is a dump. We have had 4 sets of key cards, because they can't seem to get a decent key/card system. I feel like I should be getting paid to stay here.

We were in town after a band we were seeing switched venues suddenly. Had I done more research prior to booking the room I definitely would not have chosen this hotel. We booked an executive king room and It looks like we received one of the remodeled rooms in the hotel. The room itself was clean and the bathroom was recently redone. However, the rest of the hotel is a different story. The halls smell of a mix between mold and garbage, the carpet is dirty and upon exploring the entire hotel there are halls with exposed pipes, and minimal lighting. While walking around we passed a conference room with the door propped open, when we looked inside it was clear a party had taken place and the entire room was strewn with half empty liquor bottles and garbage. The hallway to the pool is covered in what seems to be saw dust (even though I saw no construction going on) and has a busted window as well as the pool area having a busted sliding glass door. The secured back door was broken and propped open slightly allowing anyone to mosey into the hotel. One hallway off the lobby has a huge cut out in the ceiling exposing rusty water pipes, and according to the OSHA paperwork hanging on the wall below it, asbestos debris that fall out of this hole. This hotel also does not appear to be in a great area in town either with apartment buildings directly behind the parking lot.

Staying here currently… Walk in the front entrance and looked pretty decent. Got to the area our room was in and mold was everywhere, smelled like a moldy room. All the floors (including our room) were dirty, dark brown spots every 5 feet. You should see the windows, soo moldy and disgusting… The bed frame broke once we sat on the bed. Everything is very dirty and outdated. Do not stay UNLESS you plan on just sleeping and leaving right away; not being in your room. Also the staff is pretty unprepared, they seemed as if they were clueless to any question being asked. If the room and hallways are this bad I wonder what the breskfast or restaurant is like!

DO NOT STAY HERE! The staff was very unprofessional. On the website it said indoor pool, which is one of the reasons I booked there, but upon arrival it was obviously under construction. That is something that should have been noted in detail on the website. Had I have known that, I wouldn't have booked there. I have small children that like to swim. The room was decent besides the intrusion of ants and spiders. I called down to the front desk to inform them of the situation and asked that someone come spray but no one came nor did they switch us to another room or even call back to check to see if we were still having bug problems. We ended up putting our things back in our car so we wouldn't take any extra "passengers" back home. I always recommend hotels to my friends but this one WILL NOT get my recommendation. Under new management? Try again.

The staff is very unprofessional. Corporate workers are unprofessional. Every time you call you get a different story. I booked a room so my children and family could swim. The pool was down for maintenance and the hotel did not want to refund me. There was a lot of back and forth and I had to dispute the transaction with my bank. Very bad experience. Do not book a room here. You will be sorry.

Worst hotel to ever be in business. If you're a navy family staying in Waukeegan for Navy graduation, do not stay at the Ramada. They will take advantage of you because you're a Navy family. The place is old, smelly, has very bad customer service, and they falsely advertise their hotel on their website. Do not stay here.

I spent a long time searching for a hotel to stay at for my son’s Navy Graduation and read so many reviews for surrounding hotels it started stressing me out. The price range I was looking for was pretty low because I was paying for multiple rooms and couldn’t afford one of the $100/night rooms. Ramada has a pretty good reputation so I decided to stay with them and used my dad’s AARP discount to make the total cost even cheaper. There were lots of good and bad reviews for this hotel so I am going to write a VERY honest review and hopefully this will help others out. We were able to reserve adjoining rooms so when my sailor could take liberty we were all back and forth in the rooms. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could the rooms have used some touch up paint – yes – but I personally really didn’t care about that. I was more concerned with clean rooms. We needed more towels and they were brought to our room right away and the correct amount (plus the extra) was replenished each day. Yay! The front desk staff was very friendly and even let us checks in early because there were some rooms available. There is a little “store” next to the front desk that had Navy t-shirts and some other incidentals that could be purchased. There was a breakfast buffet each morning that included fruit, donuts, waffles, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and most mornings there was also scrambled eggs and bacon.

I rated this place a 2 because, my bf and I stayed there for NYE 2014 and they wouldn't honor the $64 Orbitz price, but instead they charged us double. We were too exhausted to drive so we really had no other choice. The room was awesome but my bf and I feel very much so taken advantage of.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience here. The only reason for the stay was for the Navy Graduation. Wow, Where do I start! 1. BED BUGS! Yes Bed Bugs! Unfortunately had to stay 1 more night, since we were leaving early in the morning. Even when I complained, they wanted to give us a smaller room with double beds. Eventually we got a larger room, but we were still very cautious and checked everything. Believe me, we did not sleep well at all, ugh! If we could have found another hotel, we would have left Running out of this place. 2. Personal Item taken from room, just be told that they were never found. 3. Rooms are old and smelly. 4. Outdated rundown hotel. 5. Trash cans in hallway to catch the water dripping from the ceiling. 6. Asked for extra towels, was told they didnt have anymore, seriously! Your a hotel! 7. Had dinner at the hotel 1st night, it took forever to get our food, in the end it was way overpriced! 8. When coming in from the back parking lot door, we didn't need to swipe the card to get into the hotel. We just opened the door. Not sure if it was broken or just never worked at all. Maybe it's there just for decoration. 9. Back parking Lot dark and no security seen. Not really gated in. So its open access to the side street. Im not one to complain, actually my 1st, but im sure many families will come from far to come see their Son/ Daughter graduate from boot camp as we did and not realize what a awful smelly unpleasant place this is.

Worst hotel stay ever. Do Not Stay Here! Dirty, smelly, mold, mildew, leaking toilet, dirty beds, hair on pillow, mildew on pillows, mold in air conditioning vents, screens on windows broken and falling out, room keys given for rooms already occupied. Do not stay here. Stayed for boot camp graduation and literally the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Cleaning people are not doing their jobs, entire hotel smelled bad, had 2 rooms, switched them both due to unclean condition. Upgraded to newly renovated suite, toilet leaked first time it was used, hair on pillow cases, rooms are not being cleaned. Actually saw a toilet brush laying on the rug of one room we passed by on the way to our second room. Would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

I booked this hotel a week early for a cheap price. When we arrived, there was music blasting throughout the bottom level for a quincinera. The clerk checking us in smiled and said to let us know if we had any problems, almost like he knew we would. Every hallway smelled musty, and as we entered our room, we instantly noticed that the room was not even clean! The carpet was disgusting, dirty towels were laying on the floor, and there was literally sh*t still in the toilet! We were out of there in an instant and demanded our money back. I had to call Expedia and cancel and have this hotel confirm, which was another huge hassle. We also learned that the hotel severely overbooked, and people with reservations were being turned down for walk-ins. One group had reserved over $600 worth of rooms and were not given their rooms. This place is a joke and not worth staying there for free! Stay away.

1) Free shuttle service drops off at 9:30 AM and picks up at 9:30 PM. 4th of July weekend the park was open late for fireworks. We had to pay for parking — the sole reason for staying with Ramada was the free shuttle service. 2) We asked to talk with a manager. We left 4 messages with our names and 2 different phone numbers. Day and still waiting for our phone call. 3) Hallways were dirty and smelled.
