Location and cleanliness all around.

My flight was cancelled and booked a room at the Wyndham by the airport. When I got there, they had no rooms but they had already charged my card. They sent us to another Wyndham further away from the airport. They gave us a single bed when we paid for a double. Took forever to get us into the right room. This was all after 2:00 am! In the morning, the shuttle left us but was still in the parking lot but wouldn’t wait for us. Had to spend $40 on an UBER. Terrible experience.

Great staff at front desk, pretty big room for the price was expecting something smaller actually comfy beds very clean and neat.

I think guest services could take a refresher on hospitality and friendly service. Hotel is great! Employees rude…

Here for training course. Utilized the meeting room all week. Clean, good space. Helpful staff.

Stayed here for a birthday trip. The hotel was very good if not missing a little shine. The breakfast was nice and had some hot elements that was refreshing. The Wi-Fi was nice and fast. The water pressure was adequate. There were a few things here and there that cheapened my perception of the experience, like a chair in the hall being visibly stained, the grout in the bathroom missing in areas and the paint above the shower peeling away. All in all these were merely visual blunders and the staff was very nice and attentive. I would stay again.

We had a party of 16 staying there. Total of three rooms. The checkin was great and easy, and the front desk was friendly. They even baked the kids with us warm cookies. Fairly clean rooms and the breakfast was good. I would stay again.

The location is perfect, surrounding by many shopping centers. We have the one king size bed with Jacuzzi on the first floor. The room is clean, spacious bath. Good service.

Eh… It's OK. It was a loud place with people running in and out all night. There was a hole in the wall on the first floor that was fairly unsightly… And don't get the suite. It's right by an external door and the ice machine. Nothing says expensive suite sleeping like listening to the drunk guy fill up his cooler at 3 in the morning after dragging in what sounded like his whole house from outside. Breakfast was also disappointing… It's all microwave fair you could get from a gas station. I'd only stay here if you're in a bind for a place to stay. It's tolerable but just barely so.

Nice clean rooms. Only issue was loud people above us but that isn't something that they can control. Nice place reasonable prices would stay again.

My room was nice and clean. I don't understand one thing when someone book room for 5 people why they put only 4 towels? Breakfast was good. Service is good as well.

Booked a King-Suite for Memorial Sunday-Monday night. The king bed was very comfortable, the room was nice and clean for the price, breakfast was provided and the waffles were awesome. We happened to be there when parking lot was being re-tarred… so that was inconvenient and the smell did permeate the rooms, but overall we were pleased.

Cleanliness is good, beds aren't bad, breakfast is decent. Only downside is it's a little noisy. You can hear people walking above you and the air conditioner is not quiet. But I've definitely been to louder hotels in the area.

New to Illinois and staying while I find a place. The room is very clean, beds are comfy and the rooms are affordable. Hotel has a laundry a gym and a bar. Breakfast is included; choices are normally eggs (scrambled, and hard boiled) bacon or sausage, cereal, milk, apple/orange juice, waffle or pancakes, bagels, bread, muffin, cinnamon rolls, french toast, donuts, yogurt, fruit (orange, banana, apple), oatmeal, and of course coffee. Staff is nice and the manager is awesome!

Three stars says it all. The room is comfortable and clean, but nothing special. The continental breakfast is unremarkable — same as you would get at other hotels. The service checking in was friendly and efficient. Overall, everything was okay. I'd stay there again, if I needed a room.

Great breakfast buffet. Make your own waffles, fruit, and other goodies. The beds are relatively comfortable. And the hotel is largely quite quiet. Very peaceful stay after long days at a convention.

I went in for an event and had no contact with anyone from the hotel. No one said hello as I came in or asked if I needed help getting around. I work in customer service so I know greeting a customer is important. The place was clean and there were no other guests in sight.

The hotel front staff were great. Chris and Dan were an absolute blast, and fun to talk to. The room, being called a suite, was a stretch. Only had 1 bedside table next to the bed. This was very inconvenient for the person who was on that side of the the bed. The showed its age, and could use a little basic TLC. Things like cracked grout, peeling wallpaper, chipped furniture. The room wasn't what we would call quiet. We could hear the room above as they walked around. It was like there was no sound proofing between floors. The breakfast was basic, but very good. It had a wide variety, and the hot items were hot. Based on the room, we probably won't stay here again. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Just ok.

This was a nice hotel for a great price. Nice hot breakfast with a good variety. I have to give a shout out to Patrick, the general manager, who was most helpful with a lost item. He went out of his way to look for and locate my item 2 days after I checked out of the hotel. Then, he personally went to Fed Ex to get it delivered to my home. Thanks, again, Patrick!

Employees (Mike the one who made my reservation) at the front desk were very helpful in describing the room as to what it would look like. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and quite. I found that it was very affordable for the area. Breakfast was exceptional, the overseer was outstanding and made sure that things were always in order. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

This hotel is ok. The room was clean, smelled clean. Beds are fairly comfortable, but bring your own pillow. They are very fluffy and will leave a crick in your neck. The front desk was friendly. The breakfast isn't great. It's basically waffles, bagels, yogurt, fruit, muffins, and donuts that are dry.

Nice place to stay for a great price. Rooms were clean, breakfast every day until 9:30, and late check-outs until noon. Worked well as a place to stay for those navigating the local area.

Very clean rooms and friendly staff. We have stayed here a few times and our group has block of at least 20 rooms. They are very accommodating and let our group use the "Roselle room" to eat and drink and play games.

A wonderful and restful visit. We got a king room with a hot tub! An upgrade to our surprise and it was awesome, since my wife and I needed the relaxing weekend. The room was spacious and comfortable with an updated decor. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Patrick, whom I'm guessing was the owner/manager, was especially awesome. I will be staying here again for sure! And definitely telling all my relatives from California to stay on their next visit to Chicago area.

Clean. Comfortable bed. Bar in the lobby. Nice free breakfast: scrambled and hard boiled eggs, sausage, waffle machine, 4 cereals, instant oatmeal, yogurt, fruit (apples, bananas, oranges), various breads/bagels, etc. Gym has nice treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike and a resistance machine. Cons: Wi-Fi constantly went in and out. Half the time I ended up using Wi-Fi from a neighboring hotel. Some mornings they let the free breakfast dwindle. It's served until 9:30, but Saturday morning supplies were low by 8:45 and they were making no effort to replenish.

Very pleasant experience. Room was clean, staff was courteous, and to top it off there was a very kind general manager who had helped me even after my stay.

Arrived in the middle of the night to simply the best welcome by Kevin at the front desk. It had been a long, stressful day traveling to Chicago to deal with my deceased relative's estate. Kevin was so warm and helpful that the stresses of the day melted away. The room itself was clean, quiet and spacious. The hotel vibe remained warm and welcoming for the duration of my four-night stay. Wingate is now my hotel of choice upon my next return to the Chicago area.

Really nice hotel. Great Wi-Fi, clean rooms, good breakfast. They have a workout center with treadmill s and elliptical machines. It's close to a number if decent restaurants. Good shuttle service. I would be happy to stay here again.

Stayed in room 220. The person in the room above was so heavy footed that I had to call the front desk to complain. Didn’t get much better especially the next morning. The ceilings and walls are VERY thin! Although the breakfast is good the paper plates were disappointing. Would not recommend this hotel there are a lot of other choices nearby.

Was only there to drop off a friend on the way home, but took a minute to take a real thorough dump in the lobby bathroom. Staff seemed friendly at the front desk, but the bathroom could've been better and there's only one exit from the parking lot.

Conveniently located hotel from the airport. The station let us check in a bit earlier and was very helpful with local directions. There were meant nearby shops and restaurants. Room was clean and spacious. Recommended for travellers.

The people at the front desk were lovely and made sure we didnt feel like just any old guests. The room we stayed in was nice and the bathroom was quite spacious. They had free Wi-Fi which wasn't half bad. The hotel looks clean and polished with a touch of modern art and style. All in all, it was a great experience and I wouldn't mind coming back again.

You get what you pay for. Decent sized room. A little musty smell to the room. Free breakfast is bottom grade, nothing great. They do have make your own waffles and several bread choices: wheat, white, english muffin, plain bagel, seasame bagel.

Room is okay. But you hear the person above you walking loud and clear which is very annoying if you are trying to sleep.

My flight was delayed for 4 hours and I ended up missing my connection flight. I was given a voucher to stay at this hotel. Everyone that I encountered at the hotel was amazing. The shuttle driver, another passenger and I shared our horror stories of flying and it really helped calm me down. The front desk was more than accomodating and very sweet to me. They made me some pizza even with their kitchen closed and delivered it to my room with a soda. If I ever xome back to Chicago, im staying here!

Attended a professional training session I'm the Woodfield conference room. Breakfast was (unofficially) provided by the hotel, as was lunch (officially). Lunch was very delicious and there were sufficient choices. Iced water was provided in carafffes and it was near a bathroom. Coffee was available down the hall. Temperature was comfortable as were the chairs. The tables were a tiny bit unstable but otherwise no complaints. The front desk was extremely accommodating.

We had a nice stay. Helpful nice staff. Beds and pillows were super comfy! I only gave 4 stars because the back of the toilet constantly leaked on the floor. Also the wallpaper in the shower was peeling back and showed mold. We plan on returning there for another stay, Would request a different room.

Spent a week to two weeks at a time here for work, rooms are clean and guest services are professional and friendly. Free buffet style breakfast every morning at 6am. Definitely love it here, true home away from home.

I just had an amazing experience there. I stayed there last night with my girlfriend and felt it was a tremendous experience. The hotel front desk I spoke to named Adrienne was so polite and explained the perks of staying at the Wyndham perfectly. She took her time explaining the prices and each room, like I was really important and my stay mattered to her personally. The manager Patrick was also extremely helpful and allowed us to stay a bit later than the standard checkout time because we had gotten in extremely late that previous evening (past 3 a. M. ). I spoke to him after our stay and he treated me like I was a personal honored guest in his home. The room was heavenly, and we had a very comfortable whirlpool and the most comfortable mattress created. The room decor felt like you where walking into a Pottery Barn catalog. The breakfast was very tasty! Not just bagels and cereal but an assortment that will end your night with joy and gratitude. Priced very reasonably, anyone will thank Heaven that they chose to stay at this marvelous gem of a hotel.
