The staff was very nice. The rooms were well kept up every day. The Conference rooms were great for our retreat. This was my third year coming and I will come again. Forgot to mention the food that was served was excellent.

So far very nice, they even give you fresh baked cookies but no jacuzzi!

Staff was amazing. Breakfast was great! And extremely clean affordable rooms! Decor was homie and adorable! Can't wait to travel back through this area again because we will Definitely make it a point to stay here in the future!

We stayed here after our wedding. The room was clean. Loved the jacuzzi tub! Breakfast was nice the next morning. The otom was clean and had everything we needed for a low price. Very happy!

Staff really friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size. Mostly clean. Found a pretzel on the floor of my room when we didn't have any pretzels. Pool is decent size had a lot of crickets in it though. Located near several restaurants and stores. Thinner walls able to hear what's going on in the hall. Overall good night's stay. Price was decent.

Loved this place. Front looks like a cute little cottage. Staff was very friendly. Everything was clean and the beds were super comfortable! Will absolutely stay here again.

The service was great no problems every one friendly. The room we stayed out was nice no problems other then the TV was fuzzy but no big deal didn't stay there to watch TV. I only had one problem the pool is kind of small it's made for maybe 6 people we went there and it was packed 20+ people. Other then that great place to stay.

We came down for a short two day much needed respite. We were greeted warmly, the staff were all spectacular, I wish I could recall their names, they were busy when we checked in, but staff took it all in stride! Gave us great directions and recommendations, went above and beyond In everything they did. Easy to see they all loved what they do and take great pride in their Inn. We will recommend to all we know! Thank you for making our short trip exceptional and full of great memiries.

The rooms are a little bigger than you would expect for a standard room. The staff is really wonderful. The breakfast was a definite plus. The hotel has great Highway access. The hotel shows a little bit of age, but nothing that sends you out the door.

Great conference rooms. Lunch provided was also perfect. Would go here again for a conference.

Not a bad place for a conference. We were there for a daylong training. Only a few restaurants are in walking distance, but several are not too far of a drive. The facility itself was nice — what one might expect from a conference facility.

Located close to most things the city has to offer (food, entertainment). Friendly staff, clean rooms. Odd thing about our stay was that each room was slightly different; the room we stayed in seemed unfurnished. Specifically, the room was very large, and seemed empty. Inadequate lighting. Just. A bit off in comparison to bigger chain hotels. All in all a fine time, especially for the price.

I stayed in a suite with my husband and 3 kids. We were very comfortable and happy to find the main bedroom was able to close and lock! Lol there was an area with a sink microwave and mini fridge with small counter space which was nice to have! The staff was all very kind and helpful. The breakfast area was well equipped with lots of choices however there was a very long line on Saturday morning! The pool was however disappointing bc there were so steps for a more shallow end for small kids just ladders and my younger kids couldn't touch. Also there was no Jacuzzi which would have been nice! My overall 2 night stay was a good experience!

It's nice. It could use some updating. The 27 inch TV is a bit small for the guest rooms.

Very nice stay. Staff was superior. I had sought help with the heat in the room and they staff came back twice on their own to ensure that the heat was improving and quickly offer another room if I was not satisfied. No problem, everything was fine. But it was nice they came back on their own to ensure I was happy.

We didn't get in until about 1am, but had no problems checking in. Breakfast was pretty good but the heater/ac in our room was extremely loud so we had to shut it off. The curtains also didn't work well for blocking light, having gotten in so late it would have been nice to have some light blocking so the 3 yr old (and us) could get some extra sleep. Overall, not a bad place.

Attended a banquet at this facility. The venue was nice and clean. There is a restaurant connected directly to the hotel that you can enter without going outside. This is a plus during the winter.

Staff was friendly and h3lpful. Continental breakfast was very good with many things to choose from. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed.

Great value. Fantastic room which must have redone well recently. We had the king suite which is great for our young family, and the only down side was that the sofa sleeper sagged a bit which is normal. Also no freezer in the mini-fridge. Good breakfast, which included eggs and sausage and waffles as the things that made it a hot breakfast.

Very clean and well priced. Only stayed from 9pm to 6am. Nice breakfast in the morning. :)

Arrived and checked in. We had a groupon for a Jacuzzi suite. Perfect relaxing weekend. Everything was clean! If I had one suggestion it'd be to figure out the chlorine mixture for the Hot tub. Too much haha. No safe. No mini bar in our suite. Has all the other amenities and plenty of towels!

All the people were exceedingly friendly. But the second shift guy Nicholas was about as friendly human being as I've ever met. Would go back solely because of him. But the place was nice and clean and they did a great job.

The city met me with a handful of poor/dry customer service experiences—something I’m just not accustomed to in the Twin Cities. But this was a GREAT three night stay! They had no problems giving us extra blankets and towels when we asked, they keep iced lemon water in the lobby right next to the coffee, and the continental breakfast was pleasant. There were three waffle makers, eggs, bagels, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, bread for toast, yogurt—and the woman running the kitchen was sweet as ever! She really added a special “home-type” feel. I appreciated that. The pool was clean, warm, and plenty of towels! Look. If you want to spend your money wisely, stay here. You won’t regret it.

Stayed there for 3 nights. Great breakfast every morning. Friendly and helpful staff. I really have no complaints.

We stopped overnight here on our way to Saint Louis. Great location sorta looks like its part of this Mexican restaurant, but better rooms and service. Waking up in the morning to breakfast was amazing. I slept so great in the bed and the showers were nice too. Overall I give it 5 stars.

Looking forward to our second 3 night stay at Northfield Inn, in a Jacuzzi room. Our stay here in May was such a great experience! The staff here is so friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Our new home away from home. :)

We had a lot of help in planning the event. The price was perfect for such a gorgeous space. The room was clean, and everything ran smoothly for once. The event coordinator even helped set up and tear down. We weren't even disturbed during the event. Amazing experience! I wish I had had my wedding here.

Reception help was amazing! Completely made my first moments comfortable. Included breakfast… not just cereal but eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, toast, yogurt and more! I door pool. Kids were comfy and liked it, a huge plus! Will return here when back in Springfield! Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect little hotel smack in the middle of so many restaurants, lots of shopping, and even a flea market just around the corner on Saturdays and Sundays! So many stores and good eats within walking distance too. The rooms here are very clean, and the staff is amazing. Everyone is very friendly. No complaints at all!

The rooms were very comfortable and spacious with great service and even better decor. There were chandeliers everywhere and the hotel staff did a great job hosting FBLA's event.

We were very impressed with this hotel. The room was nice and big for our family of four. It was very quiet and clean. Our kids enjoyed the pool. The staff was very courteous. The breakfast was also very good, with a lot of different food options. We will definately go back again if we are in the Springfield area.

The customer service was pretty good but my room was dirty. Stains on the mattress and lots of hair in the bathroom. My alarm clock was a half hour off and there was dust on many surfaces. I was a bit disgusted by the lack of cleanliness.

Appearance and location of this property are good but that's where the good ends. The rest is adequate; nothing to write home about. Staff were aloof, reception when we checked in was just someone going through the motions who seemed to be annoyed by our presence. Despite 4 cleaning hampers in the hallway rooms were not serviced until middle of the afternoon. Business center has no printer. Walls are thin and our first night there were teenagers running the halls well after midnight. All in all just a fair experience.

The front desk staff is always warm, inviting, and very accommodating. I have stayed at Northfield Inn & Suites numerous times for work events and have always enjoyed my stay. I would definitely recommend!

Evryone at the hotel was very nice and polite. Rooms and hotel area were very clean. My wife and were visiting Springfield for our anniversary and had a wonderfull time. Couldn't be happier with this hotel.

Rooms were very clean atmosphere was nice. Great breakfast only complaint had a street light aimed right at my window even the curtains couldn't block out.

This place has nice rooms and a good staff, however the free Wi-Fi is horrible and the rooms are no where close to sound proof. Drunks on both sides at 2 am being very loud and using horrible language that my kids should not have to listen to. Continental breakfast was ok.

Worst hotel stay ever! After calling to see if we could check in a little early and being told no, we had to wait forever to check in. There were children running the hall at a late hour, children not being monitored and respectful in the pool. The noise lever was ridiculous and after complaining twice we still wasn't moved to another room. From desk unhelpful/unapologetic about this terrible experience. Don't stay here again or recommend it to anyone looking to stay at a decent hotel where they expect to get any sleep.

This was the best experience at a hotel I have ever had. We were greeted by friendly staff, who were always willing to help. There is a restuarant attached to the far end with great mexican food, although it was more then we expected to pay. Breakfast included traditional muffins, pastries, pancakes, waffles etc. But also included eggs and sausage, fresh fruit, 3 juices, cereal and milk, delicious coffee, tea, and cocoa for the kids. The pool was the perfect temperature, although stairs would have been nice instead of ladders to make it easier for my 6 and 7 years old to get in and out. A hot tub would not have gone amiss too. You can forget your own shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap (i did, oops! ) But the ones provided were clean, and did the job for my difficult and long hair. And the lemongrass scent left me and my family feeling refreshed and content. My only complaint is I wish we had booked the king size room, and could have stayed more then one night. With our young family it was a perfect mix of family friendly and class. We will make it a point to stay there on our next trip north.

My husband and I used northfield for our wedding reception, and they were amazing! They allowed us unlimited access the day before our wedding to decorate the hall and even dried our table covers to get the wrinkles out for us. When we arrived the night of the reception they were there to do anything for us offering to get me water while we waited to enter and taking a bag for me to hide behind the head table. The food was delicious, and I got several compliments on it. They got the food out quickly and cut the cake for us. Our room was clean and the free breakfast was good. If given another opportunity I would use them again. Their accommodating nature was a highlight of my weekend. I would highly recommend.

This place is a find. I was in Springfield for 2 days on biz and located NI&S after some on-line search. It is really a high-end hotel but priced in the medium range. My room was immaculate and tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Cheryl at the front desk is very professional and one knows — and practices — how to make guests feel they're glad they came her. I'll return on my next trip to Springfield.
