Nice lobby and pool area. Rooms are older, few pieces of tile missing in the bathroom. Upon check-in our TV in our room didn't work. We tried to call the front desk and phone didn't work either. Front desk sent someone to fix the TV but they couldn't figure out the phone (so anytime we needed anything we had to walk to the lobby). Day 2 was where it went downhill. Came to rest for the night and no power to what looks like floors 1-2 nor any power to the automated building doors. Pried open the door by hand as it opens by keycard only. Wi-Fi was spotty entire time, went on the balancy (using personal hotspot) when my partner explained we had to evacuate the hotel due to "electrical fire". The building smelled so bad like smoke it made me nauseous. After waiting in our cars for 30-45 minutes with no information people wandered back in because fire department shut the alarms off (not sure if thats even safe). Now, at this point all I wanted was to stay outside by the heated pool to get away from the smoke smell, then, no power on pool or hot tub — Fine, ill go take a hot shower. Realized no hot water anywhere in the building. I decided to ask what was working and what was not so I didn't get in the way or anything. Of course the desk has no idea — at that point it had been a few hours so they should have knew SOMETHING. I ask if I can use the laundry they say they aren't even sure its working but im welcome to check.

Marriot rewards program is a big scam. They continue to give me the runaround on points. I have stayed at Marriot for 5 years and long stays. They will drag you out and not honor what they say therethey will do. Message me for details before you decide to stay. I will continue letting others know until they do what they say they will do. They will not promote to the next level in rewards rank nor give me over 150 days worth of points. I would stay somewhere else.

Celebrated mom’s 90th during the pandemic at the Courtyard. Our hotel room leading out to the pool was perfect! Great choice!

I always enjoy my stays at this hotel. Although older, it’s very well maintained. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The pool and hot tub offer a great way to relax and unwind The bistro offers excellent food and great service for breakfast and dinner The staff at this hotel is top notch.

The staff was very helpful and friendly! My room was clean and spacious. The pool area was kept clean. I was only down a 2 night stay this time before I boarded my cruise, but I would definitely stay here again!

Very friendly hotel, close to the store, and a lot of choices for restaurant, close to the beach, swimming pool perfect, I will come back.

Meticulously clean and so quiet. I was sitting on my balcony looking at the pool this morning. Men were sweeping the deck, cleaning the tables. Courteous staff at check in. I frequently visit family here. Will stay here again.

From the check-in staff to comfortable rooms everything is at an amazing standard. It's where I choose to stay during my visits.

5 stars aren't enough! Upon check in we were greeted by two very nice ladies. They both were friendly and attentive to our needs. I was there for a medical procedure and was nervous and my pleasant check in experience greatly welcomed. The hallways and sidewalks impeccably clean as was our room. Thank you to ALL the staff at the Courtyard East Ft Lauderdale. We will be back again and definitely will recommend this hotel to all our friends back home in Key West.

I was treated like gold by Amoy and I even got to meet the general manager the awesome Mary Apple. This gem in the heart of beautiful Lauderdale by the sea has become the secret getaway of me and my friends and we never leave disappointed. Awesome awesome awesome.

Very Clean comfortable room❇️. The staff all very nice and accommodating. Shelby was a great help to us and we appreciate all her extra effort. Location excellent as well, close to shopping, restaurants, beaches etc. Will definitely go back. Thank you courtyard Marriott.

Shelby at the front desk is cheerful and full of options. I needed a room quickly to finish a report, away from the office where I telecommute, and so I booked the room at 9:30 am and told her I'd be there in an hour. She still held the room even though I showed up an hour late (two hours later). The breakfast is tasty, made with care and they have two newspapers. Easy parking (unlike hotels in the Fort Lauderdale downtown near las olas blvd) and I look forward to the next time I need a room in a hurry. THIS MARRIOTT is a charmer. Rooms are clean and the mattresses are THAI SPICE restaurant cannot be beat. Look for cute ducks in the area, too.

Had an excellent stay here. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Easy to get to and near many great restaurants and a short drive to the beach. We'll definitely stay here again in the future. The prices were very good too.

These folks came through for us when Allegiant air F'd up our reservation! Nothing worse than walking up to check in and the front desk says "we don't have your reservation". DAFUQ! WTG Courtyard. We loved our stay!

I stayed here because I had a funeral to plan/attend. My family and I were there for 14 days. The rooms were clean, however almost every day I had to ask for a 4th wash cloth. There were 4 of us staying in a double queen. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Lori at the bistro was amazing and when she first met me she could tell I was going through a lot having lost my mom. She prepared apples as a snack for my kids, hugged me, and told me that God will comfort me. Her customer service was extraordinary! I would definitely recommend this place.

Nice hotel. Modernized and updated. Room was big with a small seating area. Staff were extremely friendly and went out of the way to be helpful. Only issue I had was that the beds were firm. They were comfortable don’t get me wrong. But they were firm and that’s unforgivable. Hotel beds are suppose to be like sleeping on a cloud. A place where physics doesn’t make sense as you fall asleep to the gentle swaying of the great abyss. Anyways great time. Will stay here again if I’m the area.

Comfortable, and very close to the airport of Papano.

Good service, but the hotel is located too close to 2 big boulevards. So there is a lot of car noise and a police siren or ambulance, especially since there is a nearby hospital. Not the ideal hotel to have peace.

Good location and sofa bed was actually comfortable. I'm a big guy and I slept great.

I liked the very spacious room and the bathroom too and we had also a balcony.

Exceptionally friendly staff and hotel workers. The food they serve is great just a little pricey. But all in all it was a great vacation experience for me and my family.

Would of given them five stars but they didn't seem to care what my status was. I stay at the Marriott chains because of the level I have reached. Customer service is supposed to be their thing. I will try them again because of the location one more time.

Decent quiet room for sure, however, too bright. Too much light coming in under door and around door jam. Could not stop it no matter how I tried. Excellent pool and hot tub / whirlpool.

The last two times my family and I have stayed here, we have not had many issues. Great location and the restaurant Sea Watch by the Ocean is absolutely Amazing, the hotel gives you a percentage off your meal there for just staying at their hotel. The pool is terrific, especially with kids. The rooms have been in tip top shape and if we do not want cleaning service done, they leave fresh towels daily and bedding. The front receptionist Shelby has always been a joy to be around as well. She treats us as we were family and that made my family and I feel so welcome. A few things I wish would have been a little better would be, the hot tub was cold in December and yes its Florida but coming from Michigan to there and wanting to enjoy the hot tub was not comforting. I wish they had a little more food to offer but with that being said, the food they do have is amazing. We can't wait to go back in a few weeks.

Rooms were nice and spacious. Had a nice balcony view of the pool. Beds were comfortable. A few downsides were no microwave in the rooms and the refrigerators are a bit small. Close to the beach.

Our room key kept messing up and couldn't open our room. We had to fix the key like 4 times in 2 days. Though that did lower the rating, the best part of the hotel was the pool. It is an outdoor pool and at night it's even nicer. It was very relaxing just swimming in the pool at night. Overall it was an ok hotel.

The lobby was nicely decorated, it even has Starbucks Coffee. The customer service was great, we had lost our key card three times and they were nice to keep giving us another key card without any trouble or extra charges. The pool were clean for swimming, love their long open hours till 10pm. Negatively, the room didn't come with a microwaves like others hotels I've been to, their location is on a busy street that makes it very difficult to get out of when leaving.

I don't know what it is about this particular Marriott but this one always seems to attract a the smokers. Whenever you get a room that faces the pool you can always smell an array of smoking aromas coming from the nearby balconies, (from the pool deck below too) … The other problem for the rooms facing east are the extremely loud noises caused by all the traffic on federal highway… You simply need to stay off the balcony and keep your sliding door completely shut. They also run out of pool towels every time we stay here without fail. The price for The rooms however is usually pretty good with surrounding comparisons.

Loved It! The outside looks kinda shady but once you get it in… it's beautiful! The lobby is beautifully decorated. The room is colorful and well lit. Everything was in place. I loved my stay. I slept so well. It's also in the perfect area. Close to beach but not close enough to walk. Lots of restaurants around.

Nice location for where I was going. Nice rooms. Everything (coffee maker, ice bucket, cups…) was stashed in closet but front desk neglected to mention that. No complimentary breakfast but there's a nice breakfast spot nearby called Mom's Kitchen. Courteous and friendly staff.

My husband had been hospitalized for 12 days in Ft Lauderdale. As I arranged a private flight to get us home to Michigan, he was released to my care. This hotel put us in a handicap room, gave us a wheelchair to use and offered anything to help us. Every single member of their staff from front desk, to the restaurant and housekeeping were so kind and compassionate. We were comfortable and the room was quiet and restful. The restaurant offered very nice choices and went out of their way for us. I've long loved Marriott hotels but have to say, our experience here was beyond any expectations. During this difficult time, we could never ask for more.

We stopped here for the night in from Seattle headed to the Florida Keys and Dry Tortugas NP. The biggest issue was the restaurant was subpar for a Marriott. The Bistro concept doesn't seem to fit the brand. Very fast food feeling. Not recommended. The beds were comfortable and shower was walk in and half moon design. Nice. Extra feather pillows always adds more comfort.
