Great location, quiet, built well and a beauty, but with great function. A/C was awesome, elevator… Truly a gem. The Breakfasts are not to be missed. Outstanding. Really a great stay. Homey, but not home!

Beautiful, cozy and very comfortable. The Inn is full of charm and character. Amazing hospitality from the staff. Elevator available if you don’t want to use the stairs. Room was very clean and tastefully decorated. A hanging basket of homemade cookies was on our door handle when we returned later in the evening. Breakfast was amazing! Will definitely stay here again!

The staff at Inn at 835 are friendly and hospitable. They leave freshly baked cholcate chip cookies on your door knob every night and they were delicious. The rooms as well as the suites were beautifully decorated, clean, the beds were comfortable and the towels were fluffy. This was my second time staying at the Inn at 835 this past weekend and my stay was awesome as the first time. I will definitely be returning to the Inn at 835 again. :)

Spent the night for just a short get away. This is an amazing Inn takes you back in time with all the modern amenities. Loved sitting out on balcony. Beds were so comfy. Fireplace in room Just a perfect place to relax! We missed out on breakfast due to Covid Will definitely go back again!

I have stayed at this beautiful hotel several times in the past sixty days. It is my new hotel of choice when traveling to Springfield. The staff is so accommodating and the rooms are beautiful. Every detail has been attended too… especially enjoy the evening cookies delivered to my guest room.

A friend suggested coming here and it could not have been more perfect. The staff was unbelievable; each one made every attempt to make me feel welcome. Melissa was amazing; from the very first contact she made with me. I hadn't stayed in a bed and breakfast before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was amazed at how she responded to my emails so quickly. Julia was such a delight to talk to and she gave me the grand tour when I first checked in. The warm chocolate chips cookies left on my door were a nice touch that made me feel right at home. The breakfast was fantastic and different each day. My husband and I plan to come back for our anniversary in November or maybe sooner.

We had such an amazing experience with Julie and all of her staff this last weekend for our daughter’s wedding. They were open to crazy ideas and modifications due to all of the Covid fun. Beautiful suite for Allison and the bridesmaids the night before. Everyone was helpful and eager to make her and Mason’s day perfect. Thank you all! Stayed in the Lavender Suite for a long weekend getaway and it was perfect! The room was clean and quiet, the staff (especially Melissa) were AWESOME! Truly went above and beyond to make you happy. Even delivered fresh-baked cookies to my door every evening! I will definitely make this an annual trip.

It's a beautiful property with unique and pretty rooms each with their own personality. What really made our stay great, however, was the friendliness of the staff. They are clearly working very hard during the pandemic but they maintain a positive attitude and were incredibly thoughtful and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was great, and while we would have loved to have eaten it on the beautiful veranda, pandemic rules made that impossible. But, we'll be back to do that once things return to normal. Highly recommend staying here. You won't regret it.

The staff was exceptional during my stay. Although limited on hours and staff during the pandemic, they provided extras that showed just how thoughtful they are. The Wisteria room was beautiful, peaceful and private. I'll definitely be back to visit sometime to experience the place when the world is back to normal! Thank you for a beautiful get away.

This is a beautiful and amazing place. The employees are wonderful and friendly. The atmosphere is true to the early 1900's. I haven't tried the breakfast yet, but reviews say it will be awesome too!

My husband and I received a two nights stay anywhere as a Christmas gift from my father-in-law. We decided to go back to the Inn because its a charming historic which reflects that in every detail. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cook served some great food. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

The Inn at 835 resides in a beautiful historic building. The inn is quiet with clean rooms. The staff were kind and friendly. The cook served an excellent eggs Benedict.

My husband and I love this place! We always stay in the Hyacinth suite and it's the perfect overnight getaway while the grandparents watch the kids. Highly recommend!

A charming and spacious early 1900’s home. The remodel maintained the character of the original house. The house provides ample off street parking with secured locked outside doors. There are three floors served by an elevator. A stocked, honest policy, fridge with beer and water. Happy hour upon arrival wine, cheese, andcrackers. Enjoyed in a comfortable fireplace room. A gourmet type breakfast. A basket with four homemade chocolate chip cookies attached to our door after dinner.
It is all good, except if you’re a light sleeper. Trains run all night long, blowing the whistle continually through town. It is also on a busy street. The walls are paper thin allowing us to enjoy the conversation in adjoining joining rooms.
The entire staff was engaging and helpful.

We had our wedding reception at the Inn at 835, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Julie and Nick were both great to work with and made the planning process easy. The ballroom looked absolutely beautiful, the food was excellent, and the servers and bartenders were great. We heard guests saying that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and that's due in large part to the Inn and their amazing people and service. I highly recommend them!

Let me be clear. I have never stayed overnight at the inn but have attended many functions there including having a sons wedding there. Great venue. Wonderful facilities. Whole heartedly recommend.

Amazing stay at this Historic Bed and Breakfast. Came to Springfield for the Oyster and Beer Festival and it was really convenient since it was in the Hotel Parking lot. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Defiantly put this on our list to stay at again.

When I visit Springfield again, this will be the ONLY place I will look to stay. The staff is AMAZING! they go above and beyond for any needs you may have, and they make you feel like you're at home. Comfortable beds, I slept so good. Great food, super clean rooms with all the comfy, home touches. Special THANKS to Liz and the beautiful young lady who worked with her the weekend we were there. I was sad to leave as they felt like family. Thank you for everything! I will be back to visit with my girlfriends for a girl's weekend! One small suggestion, can you serve granola and fruit with the yogurt? Be well everyone and see you again soon.

My husband and I got married here on June 22. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the wedding was and how amazing the food was. I know a lot of the credit goes to the Inn at 835, Julie, Nick and their staff. Everyone was so nice and accommodating even when the weather was being less so. This was a special place for my husband and I before, but it’s beyond special now. I truly had the wedding of my dreams and the inn played a big part in that.

We stayed in the Delphinium room. It was absolutely great! The overall experience was perfect. The staff was super helpful and the breakfast in bed was delicious. I highly recommend this place. I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

My friends and I just did a girl's get away in Springfield. We found this gem by location of some of the plans we had for the day. I have never stayed in B&B before always conventional hotels. Wasn't sure what to expect. We had an absolutely great time. The inn keepers were wonderful, friendly and so helpful. The wine and cheese in the evening was such a nice surprise and I can not say enough about the breakfast, it was wonderful Linda! We sat on our veranda off the Iris room just enjoying the evening. I don't live far from Springfield but this is prefect for a quite getaway. Highly recommend this inn.

We were at Inn at 835 for a celebration of life for a dear friends brother. The food was so amazing. The chicken florentine was so tender with perfect spinach. Appetizers and desserts were lovely in both flavors and texture.

Attended a family dinner there, which was delicious. It was a large group and they took good care of us. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some issues with the air conditioning made it a bit uncomfortable, but they tried to accommodate.

It is a 13-room bed and breakfast. Super cute and sophisticated decor. There is a great reception hall that's perfect for weddings!

My favorite B & B! We've been staying here for several years and every visit gets better and better! In the Hyacinth Room we really enjoyed the fireplace at the foot of my bed and the HUGE jacuzzi tub. Wisteria is our favorite! Excellent location. Love the complimentary wine and cheese in the evenings. Breakfast is great! Liz and Emerald went above and beyond at our last visit to make our anniversary extra special. Won't ever stay anywhere else when visiting Springfield! We very much look forward to our stays!

Nice facility for events and receptions. It can't accommodate huge crowds, but the venue and servers were great. The food was delicious too!

Took my fiancé here on her birthday. The staff was very friendly and set up a bottle of complementary champagne while we were out to eat, she was in tears. The suite we stayed in was absolutely beautiful my only regret was having to check out.

A very upscale place to have an event with an outstanding staff. they were falling over themselves to assist me in any way possible and I'm just a vendor I can only imagine how they treat their customers great people all the way around would highly recommend.

Inn at 835 is amazing! I've stayed in the Bell House which was a beautiful and cozy space (plus the cookies you get are delicious! ) I've also been to several weddings and parties there. The people are fabulous and the food is always amazing. My husband and I are photographers and travel all over the U. S. This place is in my national top five places to stay!

My wedding day was incredibly perfect, all because of the Inn at 835. I have wanted my wedding at the Inn since I was in middle school because of the rustic beauty, calming atmosphere, and amazing food. Their staff is undoubtedly the best and I cannot imagine our big day without all of their help. The elegance of the venue room, pairing with the high reputation of the catering options is something that makes the Inn way over the top from any other venue in the Springfield area. The night of our wedding, I had so many guests talk about how amazing the food was and it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Plus, with their seasonal tastings, there are multiple opportunities to taste their selections, but seriously, there is no bad option with their food.
Also I would love to point out how helpful and thoughtful Cody was during the night of our wedding, he handled everything with such ease. The servers and the bartender were so incredible to my family and friends and just very attentive to the night which was great that I didn't worry about anything.
Julie is incredible. She works so very hard and met with my family and I multiple times and was always attentive to changes, even at the last minute. She has so many great ideas and is very knowledgeable and experienced which was super comforting. From the very start I knew I was in great hands. I sing nothing but the highest of praise about the Inn and I cannot imagine my wedding any other way.

We just had our company Christmas party at the Inn at 835. It is a great place for a big event. We like having the coat rack outside of the party room. And also having a separate room for the bar. Food was good and service was top notch.

I attended a wedding there. Service was great as far as the food and bar. They even opened an extra space so we could buy and watch a boxing match. After midnight we set-up tailgate style out in the parking lot and ordered pizzas. The Inn was perfect for the event.

The Inn at 835 is a very nice B&B. Rooms are very good sized and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I've been to 2 receptiosn in their hall and both have been a lot of fun, with amazing food. Would definitely suggest it to others.

Attended a wedding that was held at the Inn. Even though the event was moved inside at the laSt minute everything was great. Bartenders and bar manager were outstanding. Added to the list of venue options for my own wedding.

I had my wedding reception at the Inn At 835 and it was perfect. The guest rooms were all very nice and comfortable. The food was delicious at the reception. The staff were great. The setup was perfect. There were no complaints. The breakfast the following day for Inn guests was a great home-made breakfast. The atmosphere of the inn was very welcoming.

This is our third stay here. Each time, we have opted for a different room, as they each have their own aesthetic and charm. The food is airways good; the staff helpful; the drinks tasty. Overall, we love it here.

The Inn at 835 is located near the central sights in Springfield. The building once housed luxury apartments, and there are a variety of rooms/suites available. The decor is arts and crafts with many elegant touches throughout. WIne and cheese is served every evening, as is a bedtime snack. The breakfasts are well prepared. Parking is available on site. The only distraction is that there are frequent train whistles, which may interrupt light sleepers. A lovely respite for adults in Springfield.

We stayed on a December night and had the most memorable experience. The staff was friendly and while it wasn't a busy guest night (they did have a party downstairs) we felt like two lucky church mice. No disturbances or interruptions. Breakfast was delicious and friendly. The young lady took time to talk and visit. That's the best part of meeting people. Our room was clean and everything I expected. We splurged for the Rose Room and it lived up to its name and splendor. Thankful we took a chance and stayed local! Just a short drive for a ton of fun. Visit the Dana Thomas house while you're there. You won't regret it.
