We stayed two nights here when our daughter went to the state fair for 4-H. The room was great and the staff was awesome. Amy was the lady at the front desk, she was wonderful! Breakfast was great, the kids had all they wanted and the pool was clean and very nice. We will stay here again.

Everyone at the hotel was wonderful. Amy, you were so sweet toward our group. Terry, Bruce, the owner, and housekeepers were all fantastic! You all definitely made our visit a memorable one. Hope that we find a reason to come back to your city! Can't say enough on just great our stay was.

Very nice stay in Springfield Illinois Best western.

There was some evidence of bed bugs in the mattress seams, but we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt for the night. I woke up to a trailing bite on my left arm. The air conditioner struggled to keep up with the 94 degree temperature. Continental breakfast had a decent selection, but not much for special diets. The egg patties tasted very artificial, and the bacon was limp. The room did have excellent hot water and good water pressure, and our stay was undisturbed. Bed and pillow quality were good if not for the unwanted pests.

Really liked the location of this hotel. It wasn’t real congested with traffic and overly busy parking lot. Very quiet and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and breakfast was wonderful. Wish they would use all white bedding and not such dark items. But no complaints.

On May 23, I was there for a night. At first, something was skeptical because of the proximity to the highway. However, I have to say that you have no harassment whatsoever as a result. It's very quiet.
The number are very clean and the staff friendly and competent.

While this is not the fanciest hotel, and the location is just off the interstate, we were extremely pleased at the cleanliness, the decor, and the excellence of the staff. If you keep your expectations in check, you'll be very comfortable here.

Nothing to complain about here. It looked newly remodeled and was very clean. The service that we got from the front desk was friendly and helpful.

Stayed here one night for business and it was a great stay with no problems. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Breakfast was average for most motels which offer eggs and meat.

Excellent hotel! Very pleased with the location, staff, pool, breakfast and everything else. A perfect location for a family get together and only 10 minutes from downtown and the Lincoln sites. Highly recommended.

Not bad if you're stranded by a snowstorm. It's much better than sleeping under a bridge. I had been traveling for several days in an area devoid of Starbucks and there was a very nice one in close proximity. Also nearby was just about every flavor of fast food you could want, if that's what you wanted. Plumbing was definitely below par.

Friendly Staff. Clean Rooms and Pool. Great Breakfast. Awesome Suite with 2 rooms. Lots of stores and restaurants near by. Easy to get to, right off the interstate. Great Place to Stay!

Desk check-in lady was helpful in directing us to an excellent restaurant Chesapeake Seafood. She gave us directions to Lincoln sites and made suggestions of where to park and eat. Sleeper sofa was uncomfortable.

Owner/Management yells at staff if the use a paper cup to drink out of. They also yell about their paper note pad if the house keepers try to write something down. When it is above 85 the owner/managers yell at house keepers if they turn on air units. Both owners park their cars under the owning and tell you to move if you are parked there waiting for stuff. Very hard to navigate their already small parking lot with out their cars taking up the entrance. They don't even serve waffles. It's powder eggs or cereal.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, the beds were very comfy, the amenities were what we needed. We will recommend to others and we will return next time we are in Springfield.

Best Western at this location was awesome! We arrived at 8pm and Mary (front desk clerk) was fast, efficient & friendly. She let us know about the pool, breakfast & check-out! The rooms were clean and beds were comfy! The kids enjoyed the pool until 10pm and we will return to this location! Thank you Best Western!

Absolutely love this hotel! Everyone that works there is nice and very caring. Love love their breakfast. Love coming back into our room with a note from the housekeeper after she's cleaned our room. We go to Springfield about every three months. & I do is call and give them my name & they give me the same hotel room and price for stay before. Highly recommended.

This hotel is very different than a traditional moderate chain hotel. Building seems old, but lobby and rooms very well maintained and up to date. Hotel theme is contemporary decor, which works nicely for the place; retro without just feeling old. Staff very friendly, lobby is warm and inviting. Room spacious and bed very comfortable. Breakfast very good, but dining area feels a little cramped. Basic fitness room in basement, no pool, small bar/lounge off lobby. Located right across street from capital building and walking distance to all downtown spots. We stayed for an event at the prairie convention center and was an easy walk. Will definitely stay here again next year.

We had a great stay here. The hotel was very clean and the pool was nice. We were upgraded to a king suite at no charge since we are a new rewards member. The staff member who greeted us was from Oklahoma as well and very friendly. On top of this great stay, the staff went out of their way to accommodate me since I forgot my printed receipt in the room when we left. I called a few days later, and the clerk graciously emailed the receipt to me and also faxed it to my employer. We will be back if we're ever in the area.

The staff is nice but the appearance of the hotel is out dated. The beds are old and uncomfortable and the Wi-Fi network is poor so you will be not be able to get work done if your traveling for business.

The room was very nice, but the entrance way into the hotel, and hallway corraidor had a funny order.

By far my best experience in a hotel. Hotel was able to change their routine to accommodate my crew while staying. Very friendly staff and management. Indoor pool, microwave, fridge, and a great hot breakfast. Highly recommend if your on the route and in need of a better then average stay.

I stayed here one night recently during a long trip. The room was clean, almost to a fault, and I was impressed. The lady at the front desk was fast and efficient and the breakfast offering was in line with the accommodations. There is an indoor pool, if you have kids. My experience with hotels is extensive. A clean room, an ice machine, soft pillows and a quiet place to sleep and wake refreshed is what I would like at the least, and the Best Western delivered. They also have like a thousand channels on the state-of-the-art TV to choose from. They will also knock a few bucks off if you have AAA. If you want a Four Seasons experience, stay there instead. And pay more.

This stay was not pleasant. The rooms smell like smoke. The facilities are old and run down. The breakfast was poor. The workout room is not up to date. The staff was very unhelpful and unwilling to accomodate a late checkout even when it had been pre-approved upon reservation. This resulted in me having to find another place to stay and sit for 3 hours until my appointment began. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The price was far too high for the quality of room and the service provided.

Worst experience ever. Place smelled like an old bar or back alley. I refused to stay there. I had booked a non-smoking room, all they had were smoking rooms. Could not stay there, Manager refused to refund my money or cancel the reservation. This will not end well.

Very nice rooms and very afordable. House keeping wasnt buggin u before u wake up either.
