Booked a room last night. So far no complaints. Nice quiet room near shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was okay, the waffle batter was too soupy and the biscuits and gravy were cold. Other than that I give it a 4 star rating. P. S. I'm still here while posting this review after eating their breakfast on my birthday!

Very clean and updated hotel. We were in a disabled room on first floor and shower flowed into the rest of the bathroom. Went through all of our towels drying it up. Breakfast area was super clean and had the friendliest lady working it.

Hotel is well worn… and needs a refresh. On the positive side. They had a room available (checked 3 other hotels in town and they were fully booked) The sheets were clean The towels were clean The shower was hot My car (which was packed with stuff). Was not broken into. Areas for improvement… Hotel is old Furniture and fixtures need to be upgraded Get rid of smoking floor. Breakfast was weak. And coffee not so good. It ain't the Ritz… and it ain't the shitz…

It's a quiet location, but the parking lot is small. It is actually warm in the pool room unlike the other hotels where you freeze, but it smells too strongly of the chlorine. The breakfast isn't that great. The water pressure leaves a lot to be desired. Walked barefoot in my room and my feet turned black. They definitely need to step up their cleaning game. The staff is very friendly, though.

There were few guests due to the weather and we got an upgraded room, which was a nice surprise. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Location was convenient with many food options nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. I would consider staying here again.

Absolutely the best service I've had by far. Ms Vonnie she is awesome she went above and beyond for not only me and my beautiful wife but I seen how she was with everyone. We will most definitely be staying here for sure. Great comfy beds and pillows. Y'all will not be disappointed staying here. Safe travels everyone.

Good hotel, nice staff, room was nice & clean, bed was not uncomfortable pillows were soft, pool was nice. Big fridge in room. Breakfast was not bad eggs biscuits &gravy, waffles muffins cereal, orange juice etc. Filled us up! Only think I didn't like was pool bathroom was out of order. Otherwise it was overall a good stay at a decent price!

Very friendly staff. Average room size very clean bathroom kind of small. I like having the vanity outside the bathroom big plus! The entire staff is very friendly and well-trained. This is a good property excellent value! They are remodeling and I believe it will be really nice when they are done. I will stay here whenever I'm in the area.

The workers were jerks wouldn't even give us new bed sheets as soon as as walked into our room we could see stains on the blankets. The water is nasty wouldn't suggest taking showers. They let guest smoke too. The drinks and foods taste horrible rather eat garbage and drink sewer water. Not only the but there was a couple having sex in the hallway and when we reported it they did nothing. Would not recomand that place to my worst enemy.

Great hotel. It was being painted when we stayed. So we know it was being updated. Very friendly staff, warm shower, best sleep ive had in a while, cold fridge, great pillows. Definately on my list of places to stay.

We had a rough experience during our visit (was now five months ago so may have changed). Felt very unclean. Our room smelled musty. Staff was not very professional. Morning meal was not great, but acceptable given the budget type hotel.

Had a good clean room. Slept well. Had a hearty free breakfast before we got back on the road.

Nice place and friendly desk staff. Spent one night while traveling West. Was given recommendations for a place to eat and a 10% off coupon to a Mexican restaurant just down the street. The hall to our room smelled like a smokers' floor, but the room was fine. Breakfast was fresh with the usual variety of choices. I would stay here again.

The room I stayed in was GROSS! COBWEBS between the bed and the wall, looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months… Not even the mirrors we're cleaned off… Black mold around the vent in the bathroom, the entire room smelled like a dingy cement basement. Seriously had I not been trying to save up my choice hotel rewards points, I would have changed hotels right away. The outside, the breakfast area, the lobby, and the pool looked new and nice… Wish I could say the same for my room…

Unbelievable quality for the price offered. Very clean rooms, well-decorated and refreshing appearance. No odor and well-cleaned and maintained. No ice machine on the 3rd floor, but not a big deal at all. Nice little pool area as well. Well-located right next to a Wal-Mart, a restaurant/tavern, and a gas station… For people visiting the nearby Starved Rock, this should be your hotel of choice by far is you want something affordable.

Very good hotel! They randomly upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi and it was wonderful! The roon was very clean and smelled amazing. The bed was huge and the pillows were nice and squashy. They had a decent variety of things to choose from for breakfast, but I was sad to see there was no bacon. Ha ha. My only complaint is that there was a dust bunny that appeared in the jacuzzi afterward, I can only assume it was stuck in one of the holes and that can't be helped. And the fact that such a nice hotel was polluted by the funky smell from the smoking rooms bugged us. Otherwise, I we are very, very happy with our experience. Would totally recommend.

The rooms are ok for the price. Breakfast is included. My stay was good. My only complain is about the receptionist who seems to be also a maid. She clearly hates her job. I felt very uncomfortable in the breakfast because she was cleaning up violently.

Check in was quick, and the room was spotless.

The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival and had great idea for food, you even get a 10% discount at Applebees. Breakfast isn't to bad and hey, it comes with it! We got our first room, smoking next to the elevator so we asked to switch to a non-smoking and different location. They happily moved us but had no non-smoking rooms available so a huge bummer but not thier fault. Where the two stars come in is both rooms. Both were dirty even right after cleaning, both had visible and current water damage with signs of mold. If you have breathing issues I recommend another place, my asthma has been terrible since we arrived. Hallways also smell heavily of cigarette smoke and everything is heavily outdated for claiming a "recent renovation". TLDR; Friendly and helpful staff, great for one night or if you are a smoker, not so much otherwise.

From check inn it was a nightmare. Got a smoking room, I don't smoke. Then woke up with 7 bed bug bites. Did an inspection, discovered that the mattress protector had stains and unidentifiable black specs. Alerted the front desk that they had a bug problem. The bad thing is, I have a allergic reaction to the bites.

The staff was pleasant but the property has definitely seen its best days come and go — some time ago. I had no real problems, but the value per dollar seemed low.

Booked a reservation online (through my smart phone) as we were coming down I80. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the accommodations and the size of the room (double). It was an easy and comfortable stay. Given the prices of other hotels within a 30 mile radius, I'd highly recommend stopping here.
