Rooms are quite clean and spacious. We used a booking website to book one room and when extra family needed space, the hotel was nice enough to give us ajoining rooms (and at a discounted rate! ). The breakfast is fresh and fantastic — make your own oatmeal with mix ins, fresh omelettes, waffles, fruit salad… A far cry from most "toast and dry cereal" offerings at other hotels. Beds are VERY comfortable. AC and heat both work and cool/heat the room as needed. We definitely plan on staying here again the next time we visit Mendota/Peru.

The hotel was beautiful! Very clean environment. The pool was very nice! Hot tub was great but broken so no jets but the warm water was still comforting. We ordered pizza and a housekeeper helped us set up to eat in lobby and got us highchairs for kids and cups of ice and napkins. Very kind of them. The rooms were stunning! I had an excellent visitation the Hampton Inn.

Nice pool area. Clean lobby and rooms. Nicr staff. Close to a bunch of restaurants you could walk to. Only con is the freeway noise.

Wow. The staff is so Friendly! I needed help cleaning up a mess I accidently made & a maid named Bridget immediately stopped what she was doing to help me. She was friendly & said it was no problem at all and she was happy to help. I wish all hotels had great employees such as her.

Overall, a decent hotel, but several small annoyances/faults: slow/intermittent internet in rooms (at least in room 407), TV channel guide next to TV was completely wrong, and there was no indication when switching channels (also veeeery slow) which channel was on, and the breakfast in the morning had eggs, cheese, and ham all mixed together — sorry vegetarians. In addition, there was some nasty-looking red mold on the shower head and tub corners, and the American flag waving just outside our window was in tatters — needs to be retired (properly) and replaced.

Right near the interstate offramp so noisy all the time. Sink was broken but just repaired, not replaced. White residue on the wallpaper that wouldn't clean off. Dust on mirror, lamp and ice bucket. Ice bucket! Noisy spot near closet when you walked on it. Same spot upstairs so when someone walked over it, you can hear it, too. Not a Hampton quality hotel.

Excellent hotel with great rooms, staff and breakfast. Parking and breakfast are free and plenty to eat nearby. Working in the area and was always well rested.

Nice property convienently located just off the interstate. Lots of restaurants and stores in the area. Staff is friendly and helpful if you need suggestions for things to do while in town.

It's a standard Hampton Inn. Clean rooms near the interstate. Standard breakfast. Good internet. Nothing to complain about, but nothing special.

Excellent location, just off I80. Clean facility and friendly staff. If possible select room with an odd number, because those room face the parking lot and not the noisy interstate.

We were greeted by a lady that did not appear to appreciate having to work. Led us to believe the hotel was booked and our party couldn't all stay on the same floor. Upon a app inspection it was not booked up. One of our party came early and wouldn't let her check in even though the room was under their name because someone else made the reservations. My husband makes reservations for me all the time and they let me check into the room without him. Hmmmm. They breakfast person was also in a bad mood. We asked for several items and were told they didn't have anymore. But later they that morning someone else has the item. Hmmmmm. Someone also called a room at 9:30 at night claiming they lost everybody info in their computer and wanted us to come down right then to give their credit card. We are diamond so this was some kind of scam. They have a card on file. Very disappointed in this location.

This place had a crappy breakfast. The bagel where not fresh. The general manager would not let one of our family members check in unless the person who made the reservation was with them. We have never had to do this before. I would never stay here again. The pool was nice though. The TVs were terrible when you turned it on you might have sound and the TV screen is black or the screen will have something on it and no sound so you must turn the TV off and back on to get it to wreck.

Best Hotel in the area. Clean rooms Wi-Fi, cable a pool & breakfast in the morning! And the staff is amazing! Helpful and kind!

Nice, comfortable rooms. Nothing overly extravagant, nice people! Breakfast wasn't great.

I stayed here a night for business. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I had to leave for my job site before the breakfast officially started, but the staff member allowed me to take some food to go. Great quality hotel and worth the money.

We stayed for 3 nights total, the first two were in a queen standard room then decided to stay another night and do to availability had to switch to a king suite. The first room was ok. The TV channel guide did not at all coincide with what the channels actually were which was super frustrating. The dead bolt on the room also did not function. We tried to check in early to the upgraded room, but waa unable to because it was still occupied, but Noelle at the front desk was really great and even apologized when we were walking out that we had to wait on the rooms availability. The king suite was very welcoming. It was odd that there was a different television service in that room but I was excited thinking that the TV channel guide was going to be correct for this room. But, I still had to flip through all the channels (around 60) to find what I was looking for. It was comical but also frustrating that the info was completely wrong with two completely different services.

The room was clean and everything was impeccable upon arrival. The breakfast was great, with the ability to make fresh waffles with all the sides and pastries, there is always coffee and hot chocolate available in the lobby which is one of the best parts of Hampton Inn. The only frustration was one of the front desk workers gave misinformation about the availability of a suite for a stay extension which could have affected our plans if we did not instead check the Hilton website and book with them. She also shared personal unnecessary inappropriate information and was unprofessional. The rest of the staff was pleasant and helpful.

My husband and I stayed there two nights while we hiked Starved Rock for our anniversary. We loved the room and the hot tub! The service was good. The breakfast was OK for my husband. I am gluten intolerant, so there was very little for me to choose from. There was only one gluten-free cereal, but since I am also allergic to dairy, I ate the rice crispies dry. It would be nice to see more options that are gluten and dairy free since these allergies are more common than they used to be. But in all, we had a fabulous trip and loved our stay at the Hampton!

A good Hampton. Has all the services and amenities you'd come to expect.

It was very nice room and had great breakfast, however the hot tub jets didn't work well.

Good rooms, pretty decent breakfast, and comfy beds. No complaints.

This is a great place to stay. I have stayed several times in the 4th quarter of 2015. It is always clean and reasonably priced. I would recommend it to anyone.
