Pros: Staff is very helpful and accommodating. The night receptionist (a young man whose name I can't remember) was helpful even in the midst of very belligerent customers. Cheap? Cons: First room I received was dirty. Beds were unmade and there was a pile of dirty towels by the sink. They put me in a second room that, despite being "non-smoking", smelled strongly of weed. I stayed for two days and the smell never dissipated. This room also had dirty washcloths left over the shower curtain rail and other signs of being dirty.

I live in the area, and after having a rough night I needed a place to stay last minute. The receptionist, James, was kind enough to offer me a well fitted room for a decent price. I briefly told him my situtation and he accommodated me more. I appreciate the hospitality greatly. Getting to the room, it’s small but still cozy. I’m a huge clean freak so I double checked for bugs (like I would in any hotel) and found the room to be spotless! I am impressed. Hopefully I am never in the situtation I was again but I am happy with the deal I got on the room and the kindness James gave me. Thank you James and Red Roof Inn! Highly recommend if you’re simply looking for a room to sleep in.

I drive a lot and can always count on this hotel to provide a great room at a great price! The hotel is being upgraded in a lot of ways. Microwave and fridge that’s cold enough to freeze the ice bucket along with a nice flat screen I use my HDMI cord and watch movies from my computer. The room I stayed in had a desk and nice office chair and free Wi-Fi that was fast enough for a Skype call and great for work and I didn’t have to sit in some position on the bed. Mr. Patel helped me at check out and made sure I was satisfied with my stay. At check-in a younger woman quickly helped book me in from my online reservation finished the transaction and had my room key in hand in a few minutes — love that after a long day of driving! For the great price and newly redone rooms I don’t think you’ll find a better deal.

Very clean. Nice rooms. Worth the money! if you want a fridge and microwave spend a few dollars more and get the bigger better rooms. Loved the premium room! bedding was very clean, bright white, washed with every new guest which you don't see at many hotels. I know because I worked in the hotel industry. Room cleaning every few days. very helpful staff. I am a very particular about the beds when sleeping with my children at hotels I often bring my own blankets etc. No issues here :). I would definitely recommend thank you Red Roof Hoffman!

This Red Roof Inn Plus is very nice! Alicia at the front desk was amazing at getting me checked in! They even have kid snack packs! Room is very clean and affordable and the area is perfect close to alot of nice places! I would definitely recommend this Red Roof Inn Plus!

Come here all the time for a cheap getaway, worth the money and worth the stay I'D SAY! location is right by some of the popular restaurants, also right by the express way. Very nice people that greet you right by the door as you enter, very clean, like-home place to spend your time at. I'll come back for the 1, 000×

Worst staff ever. Quote you one price give you something completely opposite. Front desk guy getting rude with me! Please if you cant work customer service please don't. Hopefully they can fix.

Room was decent. Normal red roof nice with no extra frills. Wi-Fi was however the worse I have ever used. Couldn't even browse the internet.

Friendly staff, clean enough rooms, great customer service. Some of the other guests are quite the characters but if you keep to yourself they aren't too much of a bother. Beds are super comfy and room interior is modern and new. All in all, this is a lovely ran facility with fantastic & accommodating staff!

It is such a nice place to stay for a night whenever we are on the way to the east or south. The location is good, the rooms we stayed are clean, and all is fabulous for our basic needs. For the price, and friendly staffs, we have no complaint at all. For several days vacation in Chicago area, near by Sonesta ES Suites or Hilton Garden Inn that we stayed are fabulous if you are willing to pay much more. We love Schaumburg.

I am currently staying here right now, I’m 8 months pregnant and I am so frustrated at the customer service I have received. 1. We get here to Illinois from a far drive. Tired and drain ready for bed. They give us a “non smoking” room that smells like an ash tray. Finally they moved us. 2. The new room is dirty I had to clean up after others. Next morning we leave so housekeeping can clean up some and we come back and the trash is still in here that we cleaned and bagged up for them. 3. Last night we had neighbors throwing a party, blasting music outside acting like fools I call front desk he says he was gonna check it out but for a couple hours or longer the music was still loud. 4. I am re editing this because now on top of the HORRIBLE experience that I have gotten they are charging me extra! I cannot believe this, I wish someone would contact me. I call and call and the guy doesn’t pay much mind to my concerns. I am beyond upset with everything. And it just sucks because this hotel is right next to my mother n laws house and the drive was great. I am really upset with my stay here.

My experience at the red roof plus was outstanding there staff is respectful and very hardworking Alisha stood out the most ask for her and if I’m ever in the shcaumburg Hoffman area I would recommend this hotel to future guest.

Great location, very close to airport. Comfortable rooms, had peaceful sleep, Alisha is awesome. Friendly. Professional, helpful, offered us coffee and also gave us snack box at the time of check in, as per our request gave us quiet room so that we can sleep well. I was so tired of my all day drive. Well definitely suggest this hotel and will see u again Alisha.

Stayed 3 weeks and was friendly, clean, and fair price. I Had medical issues. Truck parking for 1-2 full size. Bobtail more available.

Where do I begin? reasonable location. Reasonable rate. Everything in reasonable distance. Good will. Marionos market (delicious cheese & chilli & hot food selection) red roof plus first time using the services & with all I am going through, I was comfortable here. Vehicle comfortable in space in front of door. Quiet, with expected guess coming and going. Yes. I would love to be a guess again, and again, and again, and again. Honestly. Yes. Front desk services professional, easy to relate to, and pleasant.

Clean room and good location. Staff was nice. Coffee/ tea available at the lobby. Lock was frozen staff came helped to open the door.

The nicest amenity for dog lovers is that your dog stays free. The parking lot was very clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating especially maria. Rooms with microwave and refrigerator, and coffee machine were also a plus. We were upgraded effortlessly with no change in rate. Our room was large and clean, beds comfortable, all the amenities I enjoy in a hotel room were there. A+++ Will come back with my dog.

Worst hotel, cockroaches, disrespectful employees especially during the daytime. Isha needs to be fired harassed me and my boyfriend 15 minutes after 1 checkout and said she is calling the police threatened me. Said do you want me to call the police. Nasty unsanitary hotel. No fridge or microwave. On the room, I call the reception desk to complaint about people making noise the whole night and they did not do anything about it, wont come back again.

Fair price but not good service. Shower rail was broken and microwave did not work. They were notified but never did anything during our 4 day stay.

I didn't stay I picked someone up! No frills, free parking including handicap parking, handicap accessible, free Wi-Fi, competitive pricing and 1/2 off of her stay in September. Great value if booked online.

Best hotel of all time! I marched into the establishment and that man at the front desk was SO friendly and I felt like a superstar. I'm going to recommend this hotel to my grand kids. Amen.

This hotel is terrible. I checked in and got my key. When I went to my room there was already another customer sleeping in it who I woke up! They assigned us both to the same room. I then go back to the desk and get a different room. There is a police car that circles the building every hour. A bunch of young people on the top floor who are obviously selling drugs and doing a terrible job of being discreet about it. There were no towels in my room and the washing machine upstairs doesn't work. It just eats your money. I wish I didn't book through a 3rd party site or I would have immediately gotten a refund and left.

Good hotel, accessible location. You will find near by Indian restaurants too. Neat n clean room. Happy for Indian staff.

This hotel is horrible! We found a cockroach and showed it to the man at the front desk. He said they don't have bugs. After 3 times for showing him, he offered to switch our room which was at 3 AM. We have a small child who would have woken up. Throughout the 1 night we stayed I captured 13 pictures of live cockroaches, some pictures had up to 5 at once! They were even coming out of the alarm clock. Never been more disgusted. If I hadn't gotten a refund I would have called corporate.

The red roof in is horrible. The only good thing is they take dogs for free. But it is a big drug and prostitute motel. The cops are up and down the complex mabye 75 times a night and will follow people minding their own business and that place is trouble.

Air conditioning kept going out, and for some reasons the lights in the bathroom and the lights by the sink were not working at 7:00 in the morning and we couldn't even see to take a shower, had to take one in the dark. We called the desk to tell them they weren't working and their maintenance person wouldn't be available until 9. So I guess if your air conditioning goes out at night and its hot out, you're screwed.

I had a very good experience here. I had no issues with anything and the room service and room was nice and clean!

Well. Reasonable price was a highlight. But the quality was bad. I had to reply for tons of emails, but they didn't provide Wi-Fi. No, they provided Wi-Fi, but no one could use it at all. Speaking of other parts, they were fine.

This is not a hotel. It's a pay by the hour motel. No hotel put condoms in the ice bucket. The rooms are small and the heat /air conditioner is one of those units that sits out of the wall. The pictures you'll see online is nothing like what you reaerve. I reaerved online with my credit card and still had to pay cash when I got there. Still waiting on the refund for my card… yes they double charged me. I wouldn't recommend this place nor any of their affiliated chain hotels (motels) to anyone. Foul odor in the room, laundry room was nasty and the ice machine was broken. The only place to get "snacks" was out of a vending machine that didn't take dollars, only quarters. The only microwave was located on the first floor in an extremely small room before reaching the counter. I couldn't wait to leave the next day. This place is horrible.

Hotel has been updated and rooms are decent. Cleanliness could have been better as room had dirt and hair on floor.

First night, bed bugs. Cool (not cool) Second night okay, though. Go to leave next day, however, door handle breaks off in hand. Get fed up, booked for four nights, check out two nights early. Booked through Expedia, try to get refund same day as early check out, told to wait 48 hours max as hotel manager would be contacted to confirm. 72 hours later, no refund call again, told that Red Roof Inn claimed I stayed all four nights, despite having 7+ witnesses that could confirm I absolutely did not go back. Crap hotel, crap staff, not worth the money you'll save. You don't have to trust me, I only hope that if you don't, you'll warn others like I am.

No rooms available on the ground floor. No elevator to any other floors. No way to move luggage up the stairs for 2 elderly people. No assistance offered. Had to cancel our reservations.

Staff needs more organized and room had weird smell at first ran air for a while then the smell was not so bad.

It takes a lot for me to dislike a hotel, but this is a pretty bad one. Started with walking into our room and having it smell like cigarette smoke. I asked to be moved and the front desk asked if I wanted to spray "cigarette smoke be gone" in my room. I said no, and got a new room. The next room was vastly different than the first. It had a refrigerator and a microwave, the first room did not. It also had the same cigarette smell. Luckily it wasn't as bad as the first room. I have the feeling that the entire hotel is for smokers and when they have a request for non-smoking they simply remove the ash trays. Both rooms were dirty. The beds are lumpy. The towels are as absorbent as tree bark. We only had two towels in our room. You can't plug the sink drain or tub drain. My wife blew a fuse turning on her hair dryer. No hangers. The curtain is not flush with the wall in any room so people can easily see part of the room even with the curtains closed. The locks on the door was on the verge of breaking. There was a trail of soda going from the third floor down the stairs to the first floor. I almost fell getting out of the elevator because there was a hose stretched across it. I think there is a motorcycle testing facility nearby. After 8 am there was a motorcycle revving its engine at 10 minute intervals until we left at 11am. When I woke up in the morning, there were beer cans and chew cans everywhere. Outside there was a car on jack stands with the front two tires removed.

It's not everyday that you will find a quality place to stay for a decent price, but this Red Roof Inn proved to be that exception. A clean, comfortable room at an affordable price. What more could you want.

Many things werent taken care of in this establishment. At the time I stayed it was going through remodeling of the rooms. Problems I ran into were the bathroom light burnt out and took almost two hours to get a new bulb, their staff took one whole night to get hangers for my two night stay, and lastly they do not send any lost items to you, in my case it was a $70 dollar pair of shoes.

First cum first experience is not so good, though the help received for moving luggage during onboarding was great and memorable — basic external look as if there is nothing else available than just rooms and rooms — no lock for toilet room door — no breakfast, but just cofee — wierd smell when you ON the room heater — reducing volume / scrolling down the channel doesnt work in TV remote.
