Love the hotel. They are very nice.

The room smells, the furnishings are old, worn and dirty, no USB ports to be seen. No bottled water in room for Hilton Honors members.

According to the staff, or at least “Anna” the “manager for now”, booking an accessible room means a SMOKING room. I’ve traveled extensively for work over the past ten years, never had my intelligence insulted by the desk staff.

Is a nice place and quiet.

Great Stay. Friendly and attentive staff. They had convenient shuttle service while my visit & will stay again. Pool and jacuzzi was a plus.

Charming rooms and installations, quiet neighborhood, beautiful views around.

Nice clean place. Straight forward modern room. Pool was clean, a little cool but I would say normal. The hot tub was equally clean and maintained. The breakfast was one of the best I have had a hotel. There was a great selection and nothing was cold or overly processed. The staff was extremely polite and very personable. Linda? was very easy to talk with and genuine. Thank you.

On our way back from a trip we booked a room. The staff was friendly on check in, with a well lit parking lot, although the location is tucked back in between a few different business complex buildings. We asked for more blankets and was told that there was only one person working the front desk, they don’t bring more blankets to rooms, and we would have to come down to get them. Not a big deal, Ive just never stayed at a hotel where they don’t bring you small items that you request. Overall it was a decent place to stay, but the bathroom had a musty smell and one of the windows was stuck 3” open. It was 9pm at night and my kids were bombed so I wasn’t going to bother with asking to move rooms. The breakfast was good and had a good variety. It was a good deal for a holiday weekend, but there are better hotels with better amenities for the same price (non-holiday weekends) close by this same location.

Outdated rooms and less than welcoming front desk clerk. I arrived late in the evening and was greeted as though I was an inconvenience. Being a Diamond member with their HHonors program meant nothing during my visit to this property, not even the usual bottle of water upon check-in. The morning staff were great; during breakfast one lady walked around introducing herself while passing out stickers to all the kids. Hilton/Hampton properties as a whole are consistent with their welcoming service and room quality. This particular property was the exception. Hilton Brand of hotels deserves 5 stars. This particular properties night staff deserve a 1 and their morning staff a 5

Check in was easy. Rooms were clean and the ac was kicking. Pool and hot tub were clean. There's an inner courtyard next to the pool where we hung out. Breakfast? Good! I would say the only thing that wouldn't make this a five star review is the beds were super firm. I felt like I was sleeping on a pool table. But, maybe that's just my preference to have a softer bed. All in all, good start stay!

Beautiful and spacious! The check-in was quick and the clerk very polite and helpful. There was plenty of room in the suite, with a huge bed that was absolutely comfortable. The towels we're soft and the soaps were an actual name brand. The only thing that was a negative was that there was a light right outside my room, and it was hard to get the room dark enough to sleep well.

The breakfast was impressive! They had everything there: hard boiled eggs, mini egg omelet, cereal, donuts, bagels, juice, milk, waffles with ham and chocolate to add. It was awesome. The seating area was a good size, but it was packed and they had to open the meeting room for more seating. We slept in a king room. The bathroom seemed luxurious. The bed was cozy. We were right next to the elevator, but didn't hear it much. I could hear people talking clearly outside our door, though. The ice machines were all empty, the 3rd one I found finally had ice.

Clean room. Nice people. Good breakfast.

This place always surpasses my expectations! Friendly staff who will go the extra mile to ensure your stay is amazing. Breakfast is made to order, and delicious!

Location was in good area. Room was nice… no issues. Breakfast almost caused rating to be a 3. Needs a lot of f improvement. Bagle was the best thing.

Very good hotel for a reasonable price. Rooms are large and bed is comfy. TV is great size for room. Easy access to tollway and lots to do in area. They also offer a shuttle to area attractions. Would stay in again.

Location is great and close to restaurants, gas stations and especially Dunkin donuts. Room is clean and staff is great.

Stay in alot of hotels. And this is one of my favorites. Linda at the front desk is always a joy to talk to, and can always help with whatever you need.

A nice hotel for price. Clean and efficient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just alright.

Clean. Friendly staff. Pool is small and Jacuzzi is just ok. Not really warm enough to be therapeutic. Breakfast was above average for pre prepared items. Make your own waffles and fresh fruit salad (maybe frozen but not canned) were highlights. Room was very nice and beds were comefortable. Pillows were way too small.

My family of three and I stayed 6 nights at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Hoffman Estates for the New Year’s holiday. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, all the way from the front desk to the house cleaning staff. We had an issue with our room when we first arrived and needed to change, which the front desk quickly accommodated, which was crucial with a 1 year old who needed to nap. The room was clean and we received a crib for our son to sleep in. The crib, unfortunately, did not have a mattress or sheets fitted to the internal frame, but it worked for us for the stay. The morning breakfast included with the stay was decent, with a nice array of yogurts, hot foods, and of course, the waffle maker! One thing that was very nice about the lobby was the fireplace, although it was also quite drafty and chilly, and so in the morning, one needs some warm clothes for breakfast. The room itself was good, although it was not in the best upkeep. The suite in which we stayed for part of the visit was very low on power outlets, and given the extremely cold weather, the heater ended up condensing water. Overall, we had a nice stay for a good price, but several things could be improved.

Room not very clean, we saw old underware on side of dresser, drain in shower blocked with hair, and air didnt get very cold and was really loud. Breakfast not good, coffee worse. Staff was nice.

Stayed here while stuck on a layover in which my bags were checked with the airline overnight. They were so accommodating, providing toothpaste and toothbrush and just everything I needed. Great staff.

Pretty far from the airport. Clean room. Refrigerator and microwave were in working order. Friendly staff. Great complimentary breakfast.

Already settled in didn't want to change roomed and they didn't offer anything for the inconvenience

And I was visiting family for a sweet 16 for 3 nights.

I like this Hampton, perhaps because it is always where I stay when I come to Hoffman Estates and I am a creature of habit but I do believe it is mostly because of the friendly staff and consistency in comfort. It is a nice property, located in a business park area. Lots of services/restaurants (hello Starbucks) within a mile. The rooms are always clean and comfortable… I love their pillows. The staff — — over the last few years that I have stayed here, the staff is unwavering in their service and friendliness. All the staff. The free breakfast is solid… I am a Hampton Waffle junkie so I am pretty easy to please… but their oatmeal is pretty darn good too. It is a Hampton, not the Ritz… but it is a four star Hampton for sure.

UPDATE: Increased to four stars because of the amazing housekeeping staff! The rooms were clean and the housekeepers were so friendly! I absolutely love the rooms, but the service was not the best. The front desk lady was rude and even though we had called ahead weeks before to reserve rooms on the first floor, they said they only had rooms available on third.

I was assigned a room (233) directly above the "pump" room, and immediately noticed (low rumble, like a muffled subway, that shook my room whenever the system kicked on). So I asked for a room change, which they agreed to. When I got back to the first room to gather my belongings, that first key card no longer worked. I called the desk and asked if they could come open the door so I could move my stuff to the new room. The person said he could not since he was the only one on duty, which was odd since there was another person on duty with him just moments before. I told him I'd been traveling/working since 4AM and somebody needed to bring the key to me as I'm a little worn out, thank you. He repeated that he couldn't, and I explained if I had to return to the desk I'd be leaving the motel and re-booking somewhere else. Which is exactly what ended up happening. Oddly enough, the second person on duty was there when I dropped the keys off to leave. I had booked the room for 4 nights this week, and another 3 nights in two weeks, and likely more after that. But I guess the folks here didn't really don't need the business.

Great room for the price. I've stayed at the Hyatt next door too. The Hyatt is slightly nicer, but not worth the extra cash. I've also stayed at the la Quinta near by, and hawthorn suites on the other side of the highway This is my favorite. Breakfast in this Hampton is very good. The bagels were nice and fresh. Very good oatmeal and toppings. Our suite had a kitchen, but not many dishes. The suite was large and beds were comfortable. Clean pool and hot tub. For $99, I feel like I made out very well. I'd stay here again rather than the Hyatt.

Great experience. Plenty of room for our large family. Friendly helpful staff and great free breakfast. Hotel over all has a great "home" feel to it. Felt welcome from the start. Rooms are spacious and laid out well. Construction was a bit tricky around hotel but overall would stay there again!

The Hampton Inn & Suites is Home away from Home, especially at the one in Hoffman Estates! Our Daughter was married, their reception was at the Seville so it was a very stressful day Saturday, 6/24/17 and everyone at the Hampton was accommodating and helpful! Whenever we needed assistance, they were right there for us! Such wonderful staff and a beautiful place to stay! Thank you for such an awesome experience!

The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had everything we need in the room. The breakfast selection in the morning was very good. Waffles, eggs, meats, cereal hot and cold. The location was ideal for our stay in Chicago. I would definitely stay at this hotel or recommend it to a friend.

Horrible customer service! Do not go here if you plan to have things fixed in your room, accomidations made when they messed up or a fun experience in the pool area. Do go if you want to have Linda the front desk (almost a manager) clerk threaten to call the police because you ask to speak to the real manager Myra, who will allow Linda to talk over her and not do anything to rectify the situation except say if you are unhappy you can check out no penalty of course… Also she either has an eye condition or she really likes to roll her eyes at you. Also she will finish the entire experience by tellibg Linda she has never had to deal with "people like us"… not sure if its a race issue since other than the fact that we are different races there is no other distinctive difference between us. I believe they get their training from United Airlines sinces it is apparent that customer service is not their main priority. It is packing rooms illegally (king suite 6 people) and not making the appropriate accommodations when they need to. Shame on them. I will be showing corporate the video of Linda threatening me and Myra telling us to go elsewhere. Sure hope this isnt how Hampton wants to be represented.

My g/f & stayed here last night & tonight for our anniversary… very nice jacuzzi tub in the room, very friendly & helpful staff, good complimentary breakfast choices in the morning, just awesome for our anniversary.

Feel pretty bad for it cuz there was no body there because of the construction but it was really nice. If you're in the neighborhood you should stop by.

I give five star out if five cause the service went beyond my expectation. The exterior of the building is humble. But they keep the focal thing that I want very well: Air, cleanness if the carpet, sheet, and desk. The carpet from the entrance to my room looked like new. The air was clean and the AC was quiet. The bed sheets and towel was clean. The desk in the room was quiet spacious and the chair was stable so I can keep my writing done comfortably. Though the bath towel looked weary, they keep it clean without any smell.

It was nice. Wish we would have brought our swimsuits since they had a hot tub. Breakfast was decent. The refrigerator was noisy. All in all it was a fine stay. Not the best Hampton I've been at but couldn't ask for a better value.

Delivered what was expected. There was nothing wrong with my stay. They did put me in a room next to the elevator and my profile was set to away from elevator. Front desk staff at night if check in was efficient but not friendly. Nothing would keep me from staying here on business again.

The hotel was very clean, and there was a large breakfast selection. The location was convenient to what we needed, and the price was reasonable. My only complaint was the window wouldn't shut, and we didn't realize the problem until the morning. The issue was obviously on file because someone came to fix it before we reported it.

Clean and updated. Nothing fancy obviously, but it's a great value for the price. Came in from downtown around 8:30 and had no problems with traffic. Checked in online on my smartphone which was nice and efficient. It seems like only the whiners come to wag their tongues on here, so I just wanted to say we had a quiet and pleasant stay. Thank you!

This seems to be an older Hampton Inn, but it was clean and comfortable. Only gripe is that the insulation between rooms seemed pretty poor as you could hear everything going on in neighboring spaces.

The continental breakfast was quite good. The location was a little hard to get to from the interstate, but it will be easier once construction around the hotel finishes. However, the room was amazing. It felt like an apartment, not a hotel room.

I would like to give this hotel more stars, but I can't. I stayed for a week (Sunday-Friday) and there was a large group of us so we had the hotel almost at full capacity… I tried to be understanding about a few things that went wrong, but the staff just did not care and was not willing to be very helpful. While the breakfast staff was amazing and always kept up with the busy dining room, the same cannot be said for the front desk or cleaning staff. Not only did my roommate and I find dirty clothes in our room the night we checked in, but also dirty dish rags that the maids had used to clean (apparently) soaking in one of our chairs. The next day we found a pillow pet (stuffed animal) that did not belong to either of us. We reported it to the hotel front desk on Monday, I had to report it again on Tuesday, and I was told they'd send the maids up to "deep clean" our room. I even put everything in a pile with a note on top stating that this was not our stuff and we wanted it removed. On Wednesday, I had to stop by the desk again since everything was still there. Thursday morning (stuff still there), I notice we did not get our towels restocked, so I called down to ask for extra towels and was told that the worker was the only one there, so unless I came down to get them myself, I couldn't have them. Thursday I had to leave before the manager came on shift, but I was told she would be there until 5pm.
