Clean, comfy, safe and functional. A little pricey? But it's Annapolis so it's expected. My only recommendation is cheaper parking facilities — so if you're staying here I recommend walking two minutes and parking in the $10 overnight garage next to Lemongrass. Or risk street parking and a $40 ticket.

Expensive hotel for the limited amenities. Room was average, somewhat worn looking which would be fine for a less expensive hotel. Cold water barely tricked out of the sink, so you either had to wait 5 minutes to fill a glass of water or fill it with hot water. To top it off, there is no pool and the parking was an extra charge. The service, however, was impeccable. The restaurant was fabulous and I couldn't recommend it more. If the hotel was less expensive I would highly recommend this it, but you just don't get your money's worth here.

My wife had made reservations at this hotel one month prior to her actual check-in date for a legal convention for attorneys. After driving four hours to the hotel when she attempted to check in they informed her that she no longer had a reservation because there was damage to her room. Normally this would be understandable because things like this happen. However, what was absolutely outrageous was what occurred next. Rather than attempting to find her another room they simply informed her that she did not have a room and to please step aside so that they could help other guests. As she was standing there a guest informed them that they were not happy with there room so the hotel apologized and offered them a stay at the Marriott. When my wife asked if she could also be transferred to the Marriott they ignored her send simply informed her that she would need to figure it out. Keep in mind that it is dark outside when this is happening. They then informed her that she would need to figure out her own transportation to where ever she needed to stay. While she was waiting outside in the dark by her self not a single member of the hotel came to check on her to make sure she was safe. After a period of about 40 minutes of waiting a cab finally arrived and took her to a place called the 1 motel which absolutely not a place you want to be as a single women.

Great hotel, very nice venue if you're thinking of having an event. Rooms were clean and spacious. Only stayed one night, but perfect position to go out around town.

Rather nice place. We didn't stay at the hotel but went to a banquet. We had to pay for parking at the hotel so I found a place on the street. This was the hardest part. The staff and food were good. 4 stars because I am trying to save 5 star reviews for the exceptional.

But there is a parking garage a block before the hotel that's a lot less expensive.

Upon our arrival, the staff was very nice and accommodating. The rooms are large and comfortable. They have a late night menu through 6am, which was perfect because my husband and love our late night snacks. Room service, was very nice as well, in addition to the valets. I would definitely stay here again. Show less.

Had a great mini-vacation in Annapolis, Md, at this hotel. The hotel is on the route for the free bus that takes you around downtown Annapolis. This is great as parking is difficult in downtown Annapolis. The hotel is close to the historic Statehouse which is very worth visiting. The downtown area is so historic we are hoping to go back in the spring. We left my car with the great valet Eddie, at the hotel, & took the free bus around downtown. We had two issues that arose, but management took care of it when notified. It's young staff are friendly, but do need to learn more about downtown Annapolis and how to show empathy when a guest brings a concern to them. That being said, YES we will go back!

Friendly staff and clean services, but lacks the wow factor that should come with the price. Stayed here for two nights with my new bride as a mini honeymoon and honestly the stay was just okay. The valet service was nice and easy, and the bell hops were punctual and kind. The negatives were that fact that our shower faucet leaked out of the back and sprayed water everywhere, and that the television was glitchy the entire time (Missed the last 20 seconds of the Panthers NFL game and a lot of the opening monologue for the Golden Globes). The restaurant in the hotel was also completely dead when we went for dinner. Not a bad place to go, but for the price you can probably find other places that may offer more.

I wouldn't exactly say it's overall well managed. I did however get a very warm welcome from everyone including valet, front desk, and the at the restaurant by the sweetest hostess. An older woman with more style than anyone I've seen in the area. Very friendly and helpful. I certainly look forward to the hospitality upon my return.

I booked two nights at the Loews hotel in Annapolis for the night of the Military Bowl and the following night to the tune of $320.00. As the date of the game approached the weather forecast became increasingly cold and I no longer wished to walk around the waterfront in Annapolis the following day. I called well in advance of their 24 hour cancellation policy to change my stay from 2 nights to 1. I was told that my new price for 1 night was $460.00! I asked how it was possible that the price for 1 night was $140.00 more then the price for two nights. They said that they reserved the right to change my per night price if I altered my reservation even though it is not mentioned anywhere in their cancellation policy. I asked if there was anything they could do since I was not changing the dates of my stay, just reducing my total by 1 night. They told me sorry no. They receptionist even had the gall to tell me that my best option was to keep the two night reservation and just leave a day early. The worst part is my mother in law had called to reduce her stay for 2 to 1 nights just 12 hours before me and was only charged $160 for her one night stay. Needless to say I cancelled my entire reservation. I would advise anybody reading this to stay away from this hotel. There are plenty of other boutique hotels in the Annapolis area. If they treat their guest this bad before the even arrive I cant imagine how they treat their guest once their on the premises.

Went here for a business Christmas party. Self parking is along a narrow parking lot, so be prepared to walk a little bit. Once you're inside, most everything is nice. Food, staff, and drinks. However, each floor is rather small, which doesn't really lend itself to crowds. All in all this wasn't a bad place, but definitely not my favorite, due to the size of the floors.

The hotel was wonderful! Parking was a bit odd. The parking entrance goes into a garage, but as soon as you get into the garage, you're forced to enter an open parking lot to the right, or pay extra for valet. We had to park about 200 feet from the garage entrance. Not a huge deal, but we paid about $12 to park in an open lot and walk a good bit in the snow. The garage entrance was a bit misleading.

Great venue spot. Was there for the mayor's ball. It was a but crowded for how many people they had there (about 300-400). It's beautiful and the staff were fast and constantly working hardm.

Beautiful place to stay. A must stay, staff is super friendly and helpful. The food at Baroak is amazing. Had the crab dip as an appetizer that was out of this world. My wife had the salmon that she said was the best she ever had, and my bacon blue cheese burger was awesome. The hotel was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Hats off to the all the staff from the valet parking to maid services all are top notch. Thanks you for a wonderful time look forward to coming back.

The Lowe's Annapolis was in a great location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was fantastic. Unfortunately we didn't get to eat at the restaurant, but we did have several meals from their catering and the food was excellent. Noise is a minor factor for rooms facing the atrium/central event space, but the events end at a reasonable time and the view into the event space from our room outweighed any noise issues.

Stopped by for drinks after a wedding. Great place! Good atmosphere, friendly stafff.

It was a very quality hotel. Only issue we had was we did not have maid service one day. They some how missed our room. The hotel made it right the next day by offering free parking. They did not have to do that.

Meeting facilities are good. Room deco is up-to-date. Shampoo, lotion and conditioner are good quality. Bring your own slipper though if you don't like to step on carpet with bare feet. Most good hotels provide slippers but this one don't, not sure why.

Very pleased with our stay. Courteous staff! Baroak could have been better but had great drinks.

Staff was friendly, accommodating, and made sure to open all doors for everyone while they were around. The room was great as well. No complaints!

The floor in the room was kind of worn and a little dirty, the tub didn't drain well at all, the towels shed like CRAZY, the room service salad was wilted and way overpriced, and the iron leaked water everywhere when I tried to use it. Other than that, it was a nice stay. Good things: The staff was courteous. Public areas were clean. Bedding was quite comfortable (worth 1+ stars by itself). Robes were provided. In-room kuireg (if you like that).

I stayed here for 2 nights. Everything was excellent. It was right in town, an easy walk to a hundred different shops and restaurants. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, both of which were very good. If I'm ever back in Annapolis I would definitely stay here again.

Very accommodating services. We arrived early and valet held our bags while we went out on the town to kill time while our room was made ready. The room was exactly what you can expect from a hotel. Great stay. Would recommend to anyone.

Expensive drinks, decent selection of draught beer, no circulation server in bar area but busy enough to justify it, staff very pleasant though.

We reserved the private room at the restaurant for a party. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious.

Room is spacious and hotel location is convenient. But dobt expect scenic views.

We ate food at the restaurant in the lobby. The bartender was knowledgeable about the beer selection and menu items. He was also exceptionally friendly. I would recommend to friends.

Nice place. The staff is very friendly and excellent customer servants. Lunch in the restaurant was delicious and room service breakfast was awesome. Spaceports rooms and the bed slept wonderfully. The hotel could use some minor beautification touch ups in the rooms IE (water stains on bathroom ceiling, lite corrosion on bathroom fixtures.

Nice rooms, excellent restaurant, nice space for meetings and events. Staff are very pleasant and professional.

The hotel is in a nice location, close to downtown, and common areas (including the restaurant) are great. Our room was pleasant and comfortable despite being slightly worn down. There was an event Friday night in the atrium, which was quite loud (but ended around 11). Overall an enjoyable stay!

The banquet staff were extremely professional and the valet guys were very quick and courteous.

Great hotel with excellent service. Rooms were in good condition, and there weren't any surprises. Be sure to stop at Baroak too!

Great location. Very nice room. The staff has been great.

The key to a great stay here is to get a room where the window does NOT face the atrium. Our premium king suite wasn't much more than we'd paid last year at the Maryland Inn, and this room was light years better in every respect. The sitting area was closer to the atrium, so we knew how loud that placement could be, but the French doors worked beautifully to block out any excess noise from the holiday event below. Combine that with reasonably priced easy access on site parking, and our stay here was worth every penny.

Everything was awesome rooms, service went above and beyond. Called for early check in taken care of immediately. Live music Michelle Raymond in cafe was amazing staff in cafe especially at the bar was over the top personal friendly and humorous! Love this hotel guaranteed!

There are many wonderful places to stay in Annapolis — this isn't one of them. We travel a lot but this was our first experience with Loews so I was looking forward to experiencing this "luxury hotel" (as they describe themselves). The room was filthy — the carpet was dirty, the ceiling had several places where the blown texture had fallen off and their idea of repairing it was to paint over the gap. Their "city-view" was a parking lot (if you don't have a view from your rooms, that's fine — but don't advertise a "city view" when you, in fact, do not actually HAVE a city view to offer). The decor was very Holiday Inn — nothing special. We had purchased a special package online — and they couldn't fulfill it. We had to ask about the missing pieces of the package TWICE and they said they were looking and never got back to us, either time — no offer of a refund, nothing. The only things I can say positive about them is that they provide nice toiletries and most of their staff is great (not the persons we dealt with at the front desk but everyone else). Very disappointing experience — I won't try any Loews again.

Two weeks ago I came to the Hotel with my wife for the businesses show case party. No Valet was available when they have valet. Had to park couple blocks away. In the VIP lounge area at the bar only one attendant there with a long line only to see low quality drinks. For this kind of Hotel — it was poor. The whole area was very crowded. I know there were more people there, the hotel should have opened more area for the event. Never seen such a poor show in a place like this in my life.

My family and I stayed at the property on April 10th. It was a fantastic experience while there. After returning from our trip I realized that I had possibly left a jacket and pair of sunglasses in the room. I called and spoke with Darlene at the front desk. She was extremely helpful, thorough and helped me to locate my jacket. I had also misplaced my sunglasses and thought they were in the pocket of the jacket. I asked the housekeeping representative if they were in the pocket and she said they were not. We ended the conversation and within a few minutes I received a call back from the rep asking me for further information about my glasses and said that she will investigate further to try to locate them! Fantastic service. Thank you so much! We will definitely return when in the area again.

Went to a users' group meeting here a few months ago. Meeting facilities were very nice, as were accommodations. Wifi was incredibly slow, but they offer a pay option that is supposedly faster. The location is incredible, within easy walking distance of all the history that Annapolis has to offer. Beautiful city, and a nice, well-run hotel.

It's certainly a high quality hotel with very comfortable and quite luxurious rooms. However, for a hotel of that type I found their breakfast to be a bit appalling. Tiny room, tiny collection of breakfast snacks, nearly nothing left when arriving about 45 minutes before the end. I am sure they can do better.

Not worth the price. Rooms are outdated and dirty in comparison to other hotels of this class and price. Upon check-in we found mold in the bathroom, dirty curtains and carpet, all things I would overlook at a modest priced hotel, but for the price we were paying over $300 per night, we decided not to stay even one night. I also agree with the other reviews that the front desk staff was rude although management was very nice in processing our refund.

Absolutely the best place to be in Napptown. Stayed here twice this year for gigs at the Rams Head on Stage. Lovely walk to venue from hotel. The wait staff of Jamar Oliver and Bartender John made us feel welcome, accomodated our every request expertly. Talk about customer service experts. They both make Loews look great.

We celebrated our 22nd anniversary at Annapolis, and stayed at Loews Hotel. This was a great surprise. We were welcomed and pampered. The staff were friendly, well-informed, and very helpful. Our weekend experience at Annapolis was a great joy and success because of Loews. We will definitely come here again in the future, and recommend this hotel to everyone.

I had booked a room for our wedding night of July 5th 2013 weeks in advance. When we arrived we were told that the room with the king size bed was not available because some people had not left the hotel on time. We suggested upgrading us but, no rooms were available. They told us there were no rooms available other than a room with two double beds (seriously on our wedding night! ) We were told that any other available room may not be safe. Finally after after a long discuss they gave us a room with a queen size bed. After getting to the room we found the temperature set to 92 degrees, which made it unbearable. The breakfast was substandard, and the service poor. On checkout we were told that a reservation is only a suggestion and they don't have to provide what is requested. This turned out to be a two star hotel at the most. Never again will we stay there. There is a nicer hotel right up the street.

The staff was okay, the hotel was horrible, they charged us for everything, the Wi-Fi, parking, water. I was surprised we were even allowed to walk on the carpet without having to pay a user fee. It was ridiculous. When we pulled up they asked us if we wanted Valet or Self Park and we said Self Park, and the hotel employee said "Oh you want to park all the way in the scary alley? " It was very unprofessional. There was a huge party on Saturday night and the hotel allowed them to party all night without telling them to quiet down. I would never in my life recommed this hotel to anyone that I actually like.
