Doug and Ansley were AWESOME. My GOOD THANG and I arrived about 4:10pm and upon arrival, we were told the style of room that we booked online was not available because of so many events going on. To make a long story short, they eventually found the style of room we requested, plus they added a balcony and gave us the room at an discounted rate, two free cocktails and free breakfast that morning at the Bistro Dinning. They are an example of great customer service.

As a former Assistant Manager, this was very disappointing! Marriott has super strict rules. My daughter is on dialysis, so we had a ton of boxes along with our luggage. The valet sat with an annoyed look, because we were struggling to get everything on the tiny cart that doesn't roll on the sidewalk. He just wanted to park the car! Why couldn't he help? Unacceptable! We kept dropping everything trying to get to the room. The bathroom door sticks in our room. My daughter actually got stuck in the bathroom! The room wasn't as clean as it should be. The good news is, the valet we got in the morning helped with our luggage! He made my day, he got a decent tip!

Good experience, good stay. Everything was great. The rooms are pricey every where you go in New Orleans. But the accommodations was great. The rooms are not extremely large. But plenty enough room to not be uncomfortable. Not a bad location as a lot if stuff is within walking distance. However There is parking available thru the motel with Valet parking.

Loved the customer service and comfortable bed! This Courtyard was close to Bourbon Street and other fun things to see. Breakfast was delicious with a great balance of comfort and healthy items. It was a busy July 4th holiday, and hotel staff deserves many compliments — from the front door to the front desk and beyond, the experience could not have been better. I will return to this hotel, for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the the Courtyard Marriott. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had a nice view of the city from our room. While we did not have the opportunity to have drinks or dinner at the hotel, the small convenience store near the front was nice when we got in late.

When I helped check a friend into the hotel we were told that we couldn't get a room with an actual tub. The only room available had a stand up shower only. The location itself was good if a bit confusing with an entire different Marriott right next door. The room itself was fine. It was clean and neat. I will return but hopefully I can get a room with the amenities I request next time.

We loved staying here. The room was nice and the location was perfect for us. The front desk staff and the Bistro staff made us feel so welcomed. We would stay here again.

I was recently there for two weeks holiday. My rating is earned by the cleanliness of the room, its proximity to most places of interest and, not least, the bar services provided by Cley and Shane and all other matters by Doug in the reception area. I also welcomed the guest laundry room, very handy! A couple of drawbacks, the rooms did not have safes and the use of the security boxes was frustrating to say the least. And the hotel bar closed at 10pm.

Location, location, location! The room is a decent size, the finishings are updated and while the bathroom has all the required items the bathroom door/shower struggle is real… The staff is very friendly, the valet is pricey, but again… Location! The bar area/lobby is updated and comfy for waiting out a rain before you head out on your journey. I really liked that you can basically walk anywhere, to anything and come and go from the hotel during the day as needed. If you choose to Uber, most places are less than $10 max. The interior rooms all have windows looking over the interior atrium and the noise that projects up towards the roof is LOUD. If this wasn't New Orleans, with many hotels ON Bourbon/Canal Street which are much noisier then it might bother me more… But you have to expect noise here, and embrace it — Or maybe don't come ;)

Rooms are EXTREMELY small! Bathroom door could barely open all the way. I felt really cramp just being in the bathroom. Noise projects from the atrium, the hallway or wherever, which was very loud at nights and made it difficult to sleep… Elevators were old and not clean. The toilet was very loud. The only thing this hotel has going for it, is the location and the staff I interacted with were pleasant. Plenty of better options close by…

The room at this hotel was less than acceptable even after talking to the front desk and two different people but their answer was the fact. That the hotel was sold out!. The toilet never stopped running. The chair in the room looked like someone had a "good time" all over it. The stone threshold was actually broken and missing a piece and the corner trim molding was broken and the door stop on the bathroom door was broken where I stubbed my toe. This is a Courtyard by Marriott! But Jazz Fest was great and New Orleans was memorable, as always.

The lobby area is a nice place to relax or wait for your room to be available. They had a booth with a TV, and one of the bartenders made a really awesome old fashioned. The staff was nice. The room was cozy and has hard wood floors. The bathroom was small, tho. Good location in the French Quarter.

If you like streetcars like I do, be sure to reserve a balcony room facing St Charles Ave. It was a nice vantage point to watch the action.

My first time in New Orleans and upon arrival there was an issue with the hotel because of a previous problem at another Marriot. We were put up in a Holiday Inn Express for 1 night (paid for) complimentary breakfast and drinks. The hotel staff was very apologetic and everyone was nice. There comes a time when you have to check your attitude before complaining about someone else’s. Things happen and as long as no one died in the mist of an unforeseen issue, all is well.

Great location. Room is very small. We had a bigger room on a Cruise Ship. And the bed is just hard. When we checked in they told us there are no King rooms available. But after asking how that was possible after we had booked the room way in advance. She was able to find a room. Now I wish she hadn't.

Had a great time stay in the hotel, by an incident someone over charged my credit card. Thank god there is a super helpful staff name is Jourdan, give me lots of help and very friendly, professional at her job. Helped me solve the problem. I am glad someone like her take seriously about the work they do for customers. Highly recommend to everyone. Thanks again Jourdan! Good luck in your career.

Everyone was wonderful! Special shout-out to Cedric, who's the friendliest person I've ever met. He was very nice and accommodating and all the housekeeping staff were also sooo nice. Everybody there was very helpful and very friendly and accommodating. Our stay there was great!

Clean room… and they let me check in early (9am) after being booked the night before… and the staff recommended a lot of great places to eat… try the Ruby Slipper… it is within walking distance. Almost everything that you might want to do is within walking distance. Bourbon St and Canal St are seconds away.

Location is great, but that is the only reason to stay here. I’m currently locked out of our room because neither of our two keys work. The rooms are tiny and only one window out to a hallway so it seems claustrophobic, there is a skylight in the walkway, but you can’t leave the blackout curtains open for loft because then everyone who walks by can see in. The bathroom looks like at one point it had two doors, one separating the shower and toilet from the sink and closet, and the other separating the whole thing from the room. Now it’s just the one door separating the bathroom from the room. Because it is open space between the floors, it’s very loud at all hours, with noise from the whole hotel. The pillows are horrible. The plug by the bed doesn’t work. We have hundreds of stays on Marriott properties, this one is a rare miss. Pretty hotel, great location, but that’s it.

It's been a great pleasure to stay at Marriott. I just wish they had a pool. I love to swim after my workout. Next time I will check before I book. Hotel is gorgeous. Bathroom is so small, but shower stall is large and all glass which I love.

Location was fantastic! Room was clean and adequate for our needs. Figuring the parking situation was a bit confusing as there was no deck directly by the hotel. However, the valet staff was excellent and ensured our vehicle was park and retrieved quickly. If you need a clean and convenient place to stay close to the French Quarter this is a good spot!

No parking lot or validation of parking included with room. Paid $38/night for valet parking just to keep from walking 3-4 blocks back to/from the hotel. For that rate we had to wait 55 minutes for the valet to bring our vehicle after requesting it at 5:30am. Also, no complimentary coffee provided in the lobby or lounge area as in other hotels. Pillows included 3 pillows that promptly went flat and a fourth one that would have worked well if I had had 2 of them to put together in one pillow case. The floor in my room had obviously not been swept since the last guest. The comforter on the bed had not been changed since the previous guests and had something like coffee or tobacco juice stains at the top edge that became visible as I turned the spread down while getting into bed. The desktop had been partially cleaned with what appeared to be furniture polish, but I had to use a wash cloth to wipe up the excess polish before sitting my tablet on it. I would recommend the housekeeping person who "cleaned" this room be retrained and inspected regularly. My room entrance opened onto a balcony/walkway that overlooked the area near the Bistro and main entrance. Consequently, the loud voices and other noises from the area 2 floors below could be heard from inside my room. Out of 50 Marriott stays this calendar year, this one ranks at, or well below, night I am almost always happy with my stays at Marriotts, but I would not recommend or stay at this location again.

I stayed in the third floor. The was construction during the day, but most of the time I was already gone before it started. Sometimes vacuuming in the hallways occurred late (9-10 PM). Rooms were clean and well cared for by housekeeping. Beds were comfortable, showers well maintained. Never had trouble with Wi-Fi. Staff was friendly. Stayed 7 nights.

Construction on the hotel has now finished, so reviews mentioning that can largely be ignored. However, the hotel is still not recommended. The rooms are small, and the staff is unhelpful and condescending. At night, the noise from the hallway was so loud in my room that I couldn’t sleep. And about half the time, their new “RFID” keys don’t open the door! Horrible experience. If I was staying longer than two nights, I would have abandoned the room after the first night and found a new hotel. As it is, it’s not worth my time to deal with for just one more night. I will never stay here again.
