Definitely not the best hotel in NOLA that I've been to. The location is decent, though as it's close to the French Quarter and Canal street. I stayed from Oct. 15th to the 20th and every night at some point in time, my toilet wouldn't flush. Most times, in the middle of the night. Maintenance had to come up and fix it one morning, and it still wasn't working correctly. A maintenance guy was supposed to come up to fix it, told us he'd be upstairs in a few minutes, and never did. My husband had to go back down and ask again, causing us to miss our arranged pickup for an attraction which, was not refundable. My husband constantly lift the toilet lid to jingle the handle and pour water in the toilet to let the water out in order to get it to flush. Not only that, some nights our ac unit was so loud, I couldn't sleep. We had a corner room with a window (room 227) and the way the room is positioned, you have to carefully open the entrance door and bathroom door so you don't trap someone in between. There is no dresser in the bedroom, only a long bench. The only good things about this hotel is housekeeping. They cleaned our bedroom daily, in a timely manner. However, you only get 3 bath towels. The bed was fairly comfy but, I found a long strand of hair in the sheets which, wasn't mine. My hair is very short. The view sucked, the room was a little dark, but, I did appreciate the blackout drapes. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll book here, again.
