I'd like to give it 3.5 stars, but it's definitely not 3 stars. On the surface, the facility looks a bit better than it is. Our experience was above average, but that's it. The good: Rates are fair. Room was clean, large, and modern, with a full kitchen, desk, and couch. The Not So Good: They allow pets, which is fine, but there was a dog that yapped for hours straight across the hall, clearly owners were not there. The breakfast was fine, but they had fruit sitting out in open casserole dishes, like if you were having family over. Only this is not with family, and rather in a public place, with strangers. The Bad: One of the elevators smelled like a dirty diaper.

Stayed here multiple times and I have been delighted by the attitude of their staff each time. Rooms are modern, neat, spacious and features a kitchenette. Internet connectivity is a bit slow but works for the most part. Good value for money. I will definitely come back.

The staff persons were nice and friendly, but we had several issues that we told the staff about, and they did not have someone come by to fix them before we left. The service was not prompt, and we had to call them multiple times for the same requests that were not fulfilled. See below for the unresolved issues or requests we had: 1. When you opened the dishwasher, the top shelf of the dishwasher caused the whole dishwasher to fall out of its setting. 2. The toilet did not flush properly. 3. We asked for extra towels but were given less towels. 4. We asked for the sheets to be changed, but they did not do that. 5. We asked for extra toilet paper, but they did not refill the one toilet paper dispenser. The room was very spacious though. The floor was slippery though.

Very pleased with this place. Was not supposed to stay here. Was scheduled to stay at another place but once I got to that place I would of slept outside before I slept there. I starting calling around to try and find somewhere else to stay and Home 2 Suites was able to accommodate my entire stay. Nice big suite. HUGE bathroom. The breakfast was the best I have seen at a hotel before. I liked the fact that you had to use your key to get the elevator to go. The only negative thing was the housekeeping. The first day we never even had housekeeping come into the room and from there on out the only thing they did was pick up the dirty towels and put new towels in. Never emptied the trash or refilled the soap dispenser. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

When we got into the room the trash had not been taken out and the shower soap and shampoo dispensers had not been refilled. The sheets kept coming off the bed during the night. When we got back from dinner to put away our leftovers the fridge was dirty with splashes of old food on the walls of the fridge. The shower would not stay hot for more than 3 minutes and would go cold and then 3 minutes later it would be scalding hot, and we were not the only ones who had this issue, when we checked in someone was already complaining about the their hot water situation in the room near us. The only thing good about this trip was the front desk staff, they were kind and accommodating when we asked for more things and our questions. The pool was also nice but it was almost like a hot tub with how warm they had it. The breakfast was also good, I was impressed by the fresh fruit. Overall it seems the staff was nice but they need to really clean and take better maintenance care of their hot water issues.

The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is attentive. The complimentary breakfast offers a nice selection above the standard fare.

It is a great hotel… Its very people friendly and also it is very clean.

Really enjoyed our stay, great last minute room. They were very accommodating for us and our service animals. Would stay again. Also is located a mere parking lot away from a Trader Joe’s.

Fantastic place. Kitchen was stocked with plates, bowls silverware and glasses. Service was excellent! Breakfast crew so friendly.

If you can avoid it, I don't recommend a suite on the first floor. The over head noise is a bit much. Other than that. My family and I enjoyed stay very much and will most likely stay again. Very enjoyable establishment.

Amazing stay! The nicest staff ever! Very attentive and accommodating managers and attendants. I'm pretty sure Chad and Sierra would have given us the shirts off their backs! You could tell they took pride in their work. CLEAN, comfy, and spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast and the staff attending to food was so kind. I don't typically do reviews but I was really impressed with everything and we will be coming back. We have little kids and the rooms are set up with lots of counter space and shelves perfect for laying out everything you need. Kids loved indoor pool, bring your bathing suit! Do not bother going anywhere else! :)

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was also clean and fresh. My room had a refrigerator, microwave, and a dishwasher. Five star service, everything except the mint on the pillow.

Rooms are very clean, staff is friendly. Decent Breakfast. I really wanted to get in the pool, but it didn't look very sanity.

Awesome fitness center and saltwater pool, beautiful rooms with super cozy beds and blackout curtains, a lovely patio with a fire pit, and hands down the best continental breakfast I've had at any hotel. The staff are also really great!

Located in a great part of the city with plenty to do within walking distance. Very clean and modern feeling. Customer service was great and the room felt very spacious. Will choose them again!

I’d really like to go with 4 Stars but it’s the little things that stick out here unfortunately. While the staff are super friendly and outgoing it’s not enough to jump up to a 4 star. My family and I stayed 2 nights recently… Shower bar broken and not fixed after request. Shower faucet broken and not fixed after request. Not enough towels for the number of guests that were checked in. I did get them at breakfast the next morning. One of the towels was stained somewhat (probably rust). Also the temperature controls for the a/c are deceiving as I fiddled with the wall control for the entire night trying to cool my room down only to find out that I had to use controls in the a/c itself. Breakfast is self serve by using a microwave to heat the food and is surprisingly good but definitely not homemade.

Great place that is centrally located and the staff is great too. Very modern layout. Has a laundry room as well that came in handy.

Very comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Jake checked us in and he is truly wonderful and sincere about incredible customer service grandkids loved the pool and enjoyed the fire pit.

Great rooms friendly customer service. Poor view. The swimming pool was down on one of the hottest days of the summer.

Art Deco is in… Nice change from business beig colors catering to corporations. This location is clean, colorful and staff is friendly. However do not expect a full breakfast. It will be a high quality Continental breakfast. However there is a Trader Joe's grocery just a short walk across the parking lot. King bed with sofa sleeper, big screen TV, large refrigerator, Microwave oven, cups, glasses, dishes and silverware, dishwasher and desk. There is a pull curtain separating the king bed from sofa sleeper… lol. Works well enough with family of four for short overnight stay. I wanted to try it because it just looked different from the normal hotel boxes. Price is reasonable for what you get. I will stay again on my next trip.

The hotel is very nice but we had a couple of issues with our room. The drain in the shower was clogged and we had to clean it out because the water wouldn't go down. Also, the bathroom door kept coming off its track. It's a sliding door not a regular door. Also, The pool is more of a hot tub than a pool, very small. The staff was very wonderful and the breakfast was fantastic.

Our travel baseball team reserved rooms for Thursday through Saturday nights (June 15-17). The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped; the complimentary breakfast was filling for my high school son; the laundry facilities were very convenient; and the staff (especially Jessica) was friendly and helpful! I would stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

Stay here frequentlywhen I am in town on business. Close to grocery stores, restaurants and University of Kentucky. Staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms are roomy and stocked with cooking and eating supplies. Hotplates and pots are provided if needed. Good location, close to New Circle Road.

We stayed there for 7 weeks due to a medical situation and this is a great, wonderful place. No problems at all. Courtney and the staff were awesome!

Really large suites. The rooms were huge with a really nice pull out couch, large bathroom, full kitchenette and adjoining bedroom. The staff was friendly and helpful. Had an indoor pool.

My stay was great. The hotel room are nice and updated. The water was coming in spurts while I was showering and washing my hands though. It was normal colored and smelled fine though. I really enjoyed staying here. It felt safe because you had to have a key to even leave the main level.

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at. The location is prime. The facilities are clean and modern. And the staff is extremely friendly, and attentive. Conveniently located on the main road between the University of Kentucky and the prime dining and shopping district this little gem is tucked away in a peaceful side street. I travel all over the country staying in hotels most every weekend and this is in my top 5 locations.

This place was fantastic, stopped here on our way up from Florida. Room was a fair price, the room itself was awesome, bed super comfortable, staff seemed genuinely helpful and happy and complimentary breakfast in the morning was great!

Convenient location to other businesses. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were really nice and fresh beds were comfy and lots of space.

Service was very prompt and on time. Very friendly workers, hotel was very clean and neat and tidy. Plenty of restaurants around to choose from. It was in a great location, would recommend it to any one that goes to Lexington to stays. Reason we went was for a doctors visit at UK and was only 2 miles away from the hospital. Just over all was a great place to stay. Highly recommend to any one.

Fantastic and beautiful hotel! Rooms are huge, modern, and have all the comforts of home including a kitchen with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, burner upon request, dishes, flatware, cups, pans, keurig with kcups, you name it! Breakfast was delicious. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return on future visits to the area!

I have not stayed at Home 2 but I have great regard for this facility because they preserved a most spectacular tree on the property. I watched this building go up and worried greatly about the potential demise of such a grand tree, I inquired with one of the workers and he said they were keeping it! Victory, our great old trees are such a treasure and I commend Hilton Home 2 Suites for respecting this vital part of our community and world. I stopped in to get the contacts to write a letter and commend them, I must say it is a very nice place and I will recommend it to everyone.

The place is a very nice place. The place is modern. The staff is very nice, outstanding customer service, and very accommodating. The pool, gym, lobby, and bedroom are all very nice. The best part of the room are the small things such as no shower curtain, a divider between the bed and sofa bed, the full size kitchen, and USB plug ins… One downfall, breakfast was good, but more choices for kids.

Stayed for Breeder's Cup. Absolutely Fantastic! Rooms were Brand New and had all the amenities (full kitchen etc…) Staff was friendly and so helpful with recommendations to local restaurants and directions to attractions — especially Ryan. He is awesome! Made you feel so welcome. Trader Joes is right across the parking lot which also came in handy. Thanks for a Wonderful Stay! Teresa in housekeeping also did a superb job!

Awesome visit to the brand new Home2 Suites in Lexington! The lobby is amazing, rooms are beautiful, and the fitness center could not have been better, but the most impressive thing is how welcome the staff made us feel. We visited with our Corgi and it is so nice to find a hotel that welcomes pets! We will be staying here every time we visit Lexington!

This was the best hotel stay, I have ever experience in a hotel. The staff was wonderful, Words can describe the way the gentleman name Ryan handled my visit. I really love this guy. This is the best hotel ever. The room was very spacious and very clean. Nice new appliances in the room, it made me feel like I was at home.
