Absolutely terrible service, my wife checked in on March 1st with a checkout of March 2nd, holiday inn held a 93$ hold on my debit card up until I called about it on March 20th. After getting off the phone a additional 20$ was subtracted from my card on top of the 93 they previously had. The 93 was removed today March 22 but the 20 is still on there and no one has a clue what it’s all about.

Friendly. And nice. Love the breakfast pool is warmbeds are comfy.

Very good place to stay I have dr hereto see and I stay at this hotel.

Way too pricey for this “place “ the beds were awful and the breakfast is a joke way too pricey for this hotel.

Eric at front desk early morning was not professional at all. But what made it worse is when I talked to the manager Melanie, she yelled at me and said she didnt have anything to do with it, rushed the conversation and hang up the phone. I felt really disrespeced. Very unprofessional.

Erik Mogan at the front desk called a taxi for a guest early in the morning. He was rude with the dispatch. Refused to communicate with the guest. Refused to give dispatch a call back number or connect them with the customer. Hang up the phone on their face. And gave a one-star review even though it was his fault. We have all calls recorded. As an employee of a big Hotel chain he needs to be more professional in dealing with people. Taxi dispatch should not be treated in such a manner.

Perfect everything. Employee named Erik Mogan made the whole experience 100× better.

Friendly staff close to campus and downtown. Will stay again. Rooms were nice and clean.

Had a two full size bed, they felt large enough. The breakfast in the morning was just fine. They have some items that rotate through, like the meats. There is a machine that makes pancakes, they are decent, not fluffy. Bedding was comfortable along with the towels. The staff has friendly and helpfull. Not walkable to many restaraunts, but, plenty that are drivable. This was my second time and I chose to comeback.

Room was very nice and bed slept great. Pool area was nice as well except the hot tub jets were not working. I would like to see vending machines on at least one floor… maybe the third. Enjoyed breakfast both mornings.

The location of this hotel isn't the best — but it's not the worst either. BUT, this hotel has to be one of the quietest places I have ever stayed — and I stay in lots of hotels. Staff were very friendly and helpful and hotel was clean. The breakfast didn't look that appetizing but then again, I have yet to come across a free continental breakfast that I liked. I would rather sleep in anyway. There are several restaurants within walking distance for food and a great little market within walking distance.

Not bad… But not really downtown. At. Least the rooms on one side get a. Lot of noise from the freight trains. Breakfast not bad. Even some ham and eggs. Personnel friendly.

We live in town, but had an emergency so we had to stay overnight. I was impressed with how clean everything was, we loved the hallway lights that focused on the door without being garish beacons. The breakfast was tasty but a bit late (6:45). I would definitely stay there again. Great value for price!

Fantastic IHG property located very close to the UK campus. Very friendly staff and very clean/ well maintained facilities. Parking wasn’t a hassle, as it is most places in downtown Lex. Was able to use points also to discount a stay, not always available in busier properties. Breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay again!

Stayed at this hotel many times in the past, pretty good location in general. Many good restaurants in the area, but they all requires some driving. Hotel decor is pretty standard for Holiday Inn at this point, prices are reasonable as well. Not my favorite bed, which is why I went 4 star. Hard to find good bedding in these hotels. Lexington is a great town to visit!

The room was comfortable and clean. The door took an extra push to close (like it was off it's hinges a little? ). The complementary breakfast was delicious.

Nice, clean, newer hotel however rooms were smaller than most holiday inn express hotels and you could hear every footstep, toilet flush and door shut all around you.

Upgraded to King Suite! Nice! Staff super sweet and is a great location. Right beside UK.

Nice hotel. Great location when visiting Shriners Childrens Hospital.

Was nice and clean. Only problem was there were guests smoking on multiple floors. Hopefully not a regular occurrence.

Had a great 2 day very clean and staff is very nice great breakfast will be back Robert was one the staff and he was very nice and very helpful and the rest staff was great also thanks for a great stay.

Hotel less than 1/2 mile off of Broadway (the main street thru downtown). Free parking with grocery and other stores within walking distance. Clean and well lit rooms with microwaves and refrigerators. Complimentary breakfast with variety of hot and cold items. Easy online chckout. Would definitely stay again.

I wish towels were softer. Could use better water pressure. Breakfast — Coffee was not hot, apples were going bad, soft on the outside, I threw them away. Employees were nice, especially Kayla.

I left a review about my stay online, the name is under TwoGun & it is not correct. The review says “would not recommend to a friend”, that is false & it will not let me back in to fix that. So I’ll say it here: “I WOULD recommend to a friend, great staff & great hotel. ”…

Clean, quick check in/out, convenient location.

Very nice. Good beds, close to hospital down town, almost new Holiday Inn, Wi-Fi, plenty of charging ports everywhere in the rooms. Good ppl at the front desk, good breakfast for sure!

Check in was quick and the staff was friendly. The room was clean, but I found it strange that a ground floor room had no black out curtains. The breakfast was well stocked and the coffee wasn't always full.

Stayed here because it's walking distance to and from the Kentucky Wildcats football stadium. It's in great condition and they provide good service. The only con is that they increase the rates exponentially during game day weekends.

Stayed here while on business. The service was excellent and the room was clean. The nice young lady helping me at the front desk was so kind and helpful! Thank you.

Came in on an early flight for a business trip and stopped by to see if we could check in early so we can deposit some equipment in the room. Lady at the counter didn't even look up when we asked and just bluntly said "no". We've been to other HI express and they've accommodated us or at least checked their computer to see if a room was available, it's called customer service. So far this hotel lacks it and we haven't even checked in yet. I will update this review over the next two days we're here if there's any improvement.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was just a tad dated but some amenities were modern. I slept on the sleeper sofa and the mattress was pretty thin but I give it a pass since that's to be expected.

I just checked iinto my today the room is great like always, the customer service was great. The location is great close to my son apt.

I had to stay overnight in Lexington Ky to have a heart procedure done at St. Joseph Hospital. Of course my husband, son & myself stayed @ the Holiday Inn Express. The room was clean & comfortable as always. Staff was professional, neat & kind. This hotel is my favorite & we will be repeat customers for years to come. Thank You to the owners & staff. The check in process was quick and seamless. The hotel room was clean and comfortable with modern furnishings. The location was right near campus downtown, so it was easy to get to most things. I will definitely look here first the next time I stay in Lexington.

It's a very nice place, the rooms are sparkles clean and have everything you need, but we stayed on the bottom floor and couldn't get a good night sleep because a buch of people upstairs were running a marathon all night long, also when we got to the breakfast we had a couple omelets, and turkey.

We cant say enough about our experience. The staff is awesome. They were wonderful to our basketball team. We will be coming back in July and for all future stays in Kentucky.

This Holiday Inn Express is freshly remodeled as of May 2016, and has been brought up to standard with the new image of Holiday Inn Express. As per usual with HIE, the complimentary breakfast is enjoyable if not a little processed (but what can you expect? it's free! ). The fitness center is lacking, with only a treadmill, elliptical, and bike, but at least it's 24/7, but there is a heated pool and spa area to make up for it. The guest service is great as usual, and the perks for opting-out of room service are nice if you're a member of IHG Rewards. Would recommend, it's also next to a Lucky's Market if you need to get snacks or lunch when you're at the hotel and just want to walk somewhere.

We went to meet up with family. The Service was professional and the location was clean and well put together.

We've stayed here on numerous occasions. The hotel isn't bad. Most of the staff is friendly. We have had a couple of rude people working the front desk. The hotel is currently under construction for renovations.

The rooms are so spacious and comfortable. So clean and nice. The staff are polite and nice. I would recommend it to my friends and family.

The toilet was not secured in my grandmother's room. There were very few towels. Breakfast was cold. The staff was not helpful. They checked us out of our room before check-out time even though we had not turned in the key cards. Will never stay again.

It is on a good spot — near the airport, the university and shpping center. Nice rooms and nice staff. Maybe the gym could be a bit bigger.

Check in was quick and easy. Got up to our room and noticed that one side of the bed comes almost completely off the floor when sitting on the other side. Then the plug in the bathtub wouldn't stop up. Called to get moved to another room. Again, quick and easy. Bathtub plug worked, bed was stable. Went to get a bottle of water before bed. Every vending machine on every floor either took our money or returned it without dispensing. Person at the desk couldn't help because someone else services their machines.
