Awesome front desk staff. So friendly and upgraded us at no cost plus waived the pet fee. Room was huge and very clean. Will definitely be back.

Indian owned. Nasty place. Zero management. I booked 2 rooms four days ago for 5 total people from Choicehotels. Com. Only to find out 1 room was no longer available at check in. We got one room for 2 people. Scum bags sold my room, a suite, to accommodate the 3 other people. I write this as I sleep in the car with the other 2 people. It’s 35 degrees outside right now. This hotel should never be trusted. And it smells pretty odd. Choicehotels. Com, you and your CEO should be ashamed. Seriously.

Great place to stay. The rooms are clean and quiet. I will be staying here again.

Staff was very friendly. Room and bathroom were clean and nicely decorated and the Wi-Fi was fast. Simple breakfast choices of cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee, honey buns, and toast. Great place for the money!

Stayed there last weekend and it was great. Rooms were cleaned, beds were comfortable staff was nice and helpful. If im in ottawa kansas again this is the hotel ill be staying at.

Great clean room. Price was excellent and cheaper then the other hotels in the area. Front Desk staff was easy to work with and very polite. Thanks for 2 great nights.

Have stayed here countless times in the past year sometimes for multiple days while my truck is being worked on and ever since new owners have taken over recently we have been treated like dirt beneath their feet. Unfriendly, unprofessional and uncooperative, unaccomadating. This is just a basic 2 star hotel which fit our needs while in town, but I'll be da__ed if I'll give my hard earned money to some place that doesn't give me anything in return much less respect for supporting their business / livelihood. Do not waste your money here, for the few extra dollars support other hotels in the area for their good business practices. Being a long time Choice Hotels member makes no difference to this property either evidently.

Great place to stay, a bit dated but have never had problems at this hotel, we stay here whenever we have diesel work done at H&H diesel, Brian and John are the best.

The room was nice if a little small. The breakfast was also very small. More like snacks. The staff were friendly however and the price was good.

Staff is a little bi-polar. They are either really nice or they sometimes act as though you are bothering them. Owner is terrible.

Great value, room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that the TV would not work upon arrival, but they were able to fix it.

Stayed at this location on September-2-2017 Room 103. There were dead bugs on the carpet. Dead bed bugs under the covers. I got pictures to prove it. These pictures were sent to Choice headquarters. A Mr Patel, the normal Indian slum Lord owns this motel. If could rate it a negative star I would.

I only use Choice Hotels because of my Choice Privileges rewards, and this is one of the best Econo Lodge branded motels I've ever stayed at. Nothing fancy, just a good place to stay for the night, and the staff has been amazing. Plus they have three bed suites!

Its a nice place but the shower head is really short placed.

Hotel decor and fixtures are older and could use updating. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Location was quiet, no highway noise. Staff helpful in allowing room inspection before check-in and helped with carrying bags in. This hotel also allows dogs, which is a plus. Overall a decent night's sleep for a good price.

Clean. Comfortable bed. Checked in one hour too early for next day stay. Had to be out by 11am, even though I came in just before 5am.

Terrible patch jobs on walls, terrible bathroom and im pretty sure someone skeeted allover the carpet in front of the tv. I travel for work sometimes in a different hotel every night and I have to say this is probably the worst one ive ever stayed in.

Rooms smelled like bug spray, rocks would have been softer beds and the breakfast made me literally sick all day long. I will never stay here again. If I could give it less stars I would.

Staff is friendly and efficient. Nice room. Great nights sleep. A little dated or it would be 5 star.

Did NOT have a good experience 06-10-16. OLD food in the fridge that had been there for a period of time and when you opened the fridge it WAS AWFUL, smelled up the room and the hallway. Bathtub dirty, room not in cleaning order. Enough said I do believe. The only nice thing, was the pool. Unfortunately bad experience. I do not recommend this hotel. Understanding us and them understanding you would be nice, did not speak English, so hard to communicate as well and front desk gentleman was very RUDE! The Southwest door was broke, no SECURITY, anyone could come right in, the hotel SMELLED mil dewy and dirty, we wanted to leave but the gentleman wouldn't give us money back or offer us another room for the night and on top of that, they had housekeeping come in and spray air freshener in the room and fridge, air freshener in the fridge… WHAT. Unsatisfied Customers for sure!

This place is nice but they need someone that can understand and speak English and knows basic math! I will never stay here ever again!

Cost was reasonable, and the services are good. Overall was a good experience.

Nice room at a reasonable price. Only issue is that it is close to the highway. There was noise from that.

Was told by older gentleman that room was $54 plus tax plus $15 pet deposit. Ended up paying 66 for room and 17.53 for per deposit. Ridiculously rude gentleman at desk young man was trying to assist him and he snapped at young man and said "MOVE" THE KID WAS JUST TEYING TO HELP! ACTUAL RATING 00000 DUE TO RUDENESS.

7/05/2015 — We were tired and needed a place to stay. This hotel accepted pets, but was otherwise, a horrible place to stay. The room smelled of mildew and there was mold on the shower curtain. The West entry door to the building did not lock, making us feel less than secure. The staff was not very welcoming. Breakfast was ok, but at a rate of $69 plus $15 more for the dog, This hotel is far overpriced for the nasty conditions.

Ramesh's Econo Lodge — Every penny counts! Literally counts each cornflake you eat and coffee cup you drink. When we arrived at the EconoLodge at around 9pm the owner was at the desk. He tried to charge us a higher rate than the rate quoted to us on the phone that morning when we made the reservation. After a 20 minute, tense discussion he finally agreed to give us the original rate. Only $6 disparity, but to me it was the principal. We checked in and went to the room. He called us liars. The family went to get coffee IN FRONT OF HIM in the foyer. We hid nothing. He never asked how many children. My 11 year old daughters apparently will eat all his generous portions at breakfast. I gave in and told him that he wins, we just want to lay down as we are a traveling family gospel band. We stay in many hotels. No problems. At our first disagreement, and attempting to avoid a conflict, I asked Ramesh if I could return in 15 minutes (after I looked at other hotels). He unequivocally stated we would lose our hard fought discount AND our reservation if we didn't book right then. I was trapped as I didn't know in fact there were other rooms available in town. After we arrived in the room the owner continued his harassment, stating that he was going to charge us more for our 2 kids. We did begin to feel less than welcome. Not sure Tom Bodett at motel 6 would be able to keep the light on for us with Ramesh as franchisee. Needless to say, my wife felt utterly harassed.

Was told we would get the CDL rate. Front desk told us this morning that she didn't know about it and said that the rates are higher on the weekend. Never answered the question of why we still were not given the special rate and then she blamed it on a new operating system. Regardless if you're learning new software, the. Prices don't change and you would know your room rates. And they charged tax to the pet fee. First time ever that has happened and we stay in hotels across the country. We left with no resolve to the over charges and was told to call later to speak to the owner. No. Apology no nothing. Otherwise, the room was hot when we got in and tiny. The shower head is very low. Overall pretty clean. Hallways are hot and steamy and smell. It was ok there but. Wouldn't stay again unless we shut down cuz of snow.
