Wonderful hotel for such a low price. Rooms were clean everything worked. The pool area is very nice. Pool was clean. It does go from 3 foot to 9 and is out door. Only down side is the walls are thin as motel type places tend to be and the air conditioner and mini fridge were super loud in the middle of the night. Would stay again.

Made arrangements to check in late, I was coming in for a flight. There was someone at the front desk when I arrived who is very helpful and getting me checked in. Room was clean. If you've ever stayed at a Days Inn then you know that their beds aren't of the greatest quality for Comfort (a bit too much spring for me) but daily fresh sheets and a working air conditioner made my stay bearable in 100°+ weather. Wifi and TV went out one day But they promptly got it back up by the next. Plenty of parking while I was there (fcfs) Breakfast was fair for a motel. Biscuits weren't dry and they have a waffle station. Fresh juice or coffee was also available. I did not give four stars because of the bed warm water running out fairly quickly and my smoke alarm battery woke me up one night due to a low battery that they didn't replace but I had to install because they're making this person was out which isn't a big deal for me. The price is fair for what you get I will be staying here again.

Let me start this review by saying if you are looking for a cheap nice place to spend the night rest up and continue on your way this is a very good place to stay. I'm going to start this off with the positive nice room, comfortable beds, clean carpet, pool area was great love the fact that the hotel spent money on inflatable toys for the kids. Breakfast is what it is Hotel breakfast. However this hotel does have a few problems and the main one is when you're taking a shower don't let your kids be in there by them self it seems like everytime somebody flush the toilet anywhere on the property the water would go from warm to extremely hot as it did for me about four or five times while taking one shower. We did find a cockroach in the room.

We booked this hotel Memorial Day weekend last minute after speaking with multiple hotels in Hays. It had the best rate for the amenities offered and the most helpful customer service over the phone by far! The beds were great, very comfortable. Our room was recently renovated and the carpet felt so clean, which may not be important to most, but was a huge bonus for us haha. Breakfast was busy, but had lots of great options. When we pass through Hays again, we will definitely stay here!

We were in town for graduation weekend. Very pleased with this location. The staff was friendly during check-in. We were pleased that we were able to get early check-in. The rooms we had were clean and comfortable. The pillows just were not the best per my comfort level. Took a little bit to get the shower knobs adjusted to adequate temperature. This is a great location for the price.

Noisy and out of date. A/C unit clanked and did not have continuous run to block outside noises. Heard next rooms especially when running water. Nice staff and clean, but could use an update. Bed only ok.

We were satisfied with this place. Very very clean rooms and rugs were very clean. Mattress was very good and breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this place to stay.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Very dirty! Mattress so old it squeaks. Stains on floor. Sheets were dirty. We ended up going back to our car and slept in it. If there were negative stars it would have been truer than giving it a 1 Star.

I booked the room on line and expected cost of around $60, got there and they said room was just one bed. We had to pay extra for second bed and pet charge so room went to $93.15. I could of stayed at the best place in Hays for the much. The room was smelled bad, we had to open a window to put up with the smell. We were able to park close to the room, so that was the highlight!

Clean rooms. Very nice and helpful front desk. No semi truck parking. Pet friendly with fee.

We stayed her for 3 nights, they made us feel very welcome and my furry baby was welcome also. A great breakfast with biskits and gravy, walffels, eggs, toast, juices and coffee.

Friendly staff, rooms are nice but lacking in a pool which can't really be helped. We left an expensive item behind and they did call us and promise to ship it out the day we left. Staff couldn't be better.

Not a bad place to stay. Comfortable beds. Pillows could be better but they aren't too bad.

Had a wonderful stay over the holidays with the family and beastie! Staff was friendly and helpful! The breakfast bar attendant, Red, was super helpful and on the ball. The manager Trina was spectacular helping us while we stayed! We will DEFINITELY be back! Thanks for a nice, clean and safe hotel stay! You guys rock!

Bed bugs! I just had to rush out in the middle of the night because I now have bites all over my body! my entire suitcase is infected. Now no place to stay; on the side of the road freezing. Worst experience of my life!

Wonderful staff! All very friendly and accommodating! Very reasonably priced AND they accept dogs. Super clean, updated rooms as well. I will definitely stay there again.

We have been driving for four days stopping in several states and this is by far the best place we have stayed at. Clean, warm, TV, outlets etc actually work, comfy beds and it doesn’t feel like they only put the bare minimum in your room. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. My husband, myself and our 2 year old are very happy about this place. There is a playground right behind the main building and a bunch of restaurants down the street. We are having the breakfast in the morning, so I don’t know how it is. Would definitely recommend!

Quick, cheap. Good enough bed, good enough shower. Accommodating breakfast. Just passing through this is a good choice.

We stayed here for the Fall Nationals this past weekend and it was a very clean room and the free breakfast was awesome. Red was the worker and that man never sat down and helped everyone who came to eat breakfast… he is definitely an asset to the company… Thank you Red for making our mornings so pleasant.

I thought the motel was easy to locate. The rooms were very clean and very modern. And the breakfast was outstanding.

Stayed here on business. Room was clean, but everything is dated a bit. They still have some leftover things from when it was a different hotel. Flies were a problem in my room and if you tried to move or adjust the television it would shut off (some kind of short somewhere).

The rooms are clean and we were able to bring our fur babies in with us (for a fair fee), there's also an on leash dog park around back of the hotel which is nice.

Place needs some updating, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was courteous and prompt when we called with a problem. Nice stay.

First stop on the our trip for a night, for the price we were very pleased. My favorite part was the dog park area. It was clean and spacious. My yorkie Rowdy enjoyed his walks! Would stay here again!

Days Inn Hays, come for the cheap $75/night rate, stay​ for the mystery! I enjoyed our stay here, for it was like living g out a relationship mystery novel. The door lock was severely damaged, pieces hanging off. Who had previously kicked the door in? Where was the wet dog who had been living there, and left his odor behind? The dozens of dark stains on the carpet, what were they and what caused them? Pee? Blood? Vomit? Who knows! Why was there a hole drilled in the toilet? What was all the black residue laying in the bathtub? Thanks bugs that came out at night and smooshed under our feet in the dark, where did they live during the day? What was th dusty substance that rained off the drapes whenever they were moved? Truly, a night of mystery and adventure,. Like staying at a haunted house. The staff were very friendly, to be fair. I think everyone felt at home. Probably why so many hung out till late hours drinking together in the parking lot.

They have a lot of rooms, a decent continental breakfast, are pet-friendly, and they have a pool. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. They also have cool pictures of old time Hays from late 1800's in the lobby.

Very pleasant stay. Newly remodeled, clean and roomy. Owner and staff very accommodating. Kelsey on phone and in person tried extremely hard to make it a great experience Would definitely stop again and would encourage others.

I was a little skeptical after reading the other reviews but it was a nice place, clean, relatively quiet except for a few kids but you can't do anything about that. The breakfast was good and the manager seemed involved.

Very nice, very clean 2 star hotel. Room was nice and clean, toiletries were all very neatly placed and pillows were very soft! Breakfast was also carefully laid out and tasted very well. Hotel staff was also very nice and accommodating. Overall good experience.

Definitely will not be staying here again. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling. The window of the ground floor room we stayed in was secured by a quarter inch dowell rod. When checking the room for bed bugs, I got a blood blister from one of 3 metal pieces under the box spring that stuck out the side 6 inches. Practically had to force the door open after swiping the room key. Granted, this is only a $75 per night room, but it definitely wasn't "newly renovated" in my opinion. There may have been new carpet installed, and the walls recently painted, but not renovated.

OK room for the price. Advertised queen was actually double sized beds. Breakfast was pretty good. Would likely stay here again.

The room was very clean and looked nice after the renovation. Continental breakfast was good and having someone making the waffles and bringing them to your table was a nice touch. My only complaint is not having covered stairs. It was raining when we arrived and we had to walk up the stairs in the rain.

Stayed there on 5/19/2016 Had to change rooms 3 times as they were doing renovations. 1st room No cable to hook up to TV, 2nd Room had Purple light in Bathroom so you couldn't hardly see and there was a damp cloth on the shower curtain and the sink was dirty, 3 room was up stairs and was clean enough and TV worked. But would not stay there again no matter how tired I am. I felt there should have been a discount on my bill at least for having to play music rooms at 10pm. I just hope I got my rewards points as I am a wyndham card holder but not counting on it Too bad this won't let me do just 1/2 a star because that would be the most I would give since it won't let me do No Stars.

Very clean and accommodating. Had to stay here on a whim due to an accident I was in on I-70. So much better than the Days Inn in Topeka. The people of Hays are so nice!

The owners of this place are horrible. They are new to the hotel industry and have not figured out what to do to make people happy! Do not care about their customers or employees. I would suggest that no one works here or stays here. Completely inconsiderate and unprofessional!

Friendly service clean rooms. They took good care of me when I had a tire lose tread and had to stay a couple days in town while waiting for a new tire to come in.

The front desk clerk was very polite, the bathroom was very clean and the bed was comfy!

The service was very good. The rooms were just as expected nothing fancy but they were clean.

Beds 2/10. Could feel the springs through the thin layer holding everything together. Housekeeping 5/10. Floors were a little dirty in the main area and major dirt in hidden places like between bed and night stand. Did not partake in the breakfast, but it looked like it had potential which bumped this up 1 star. Staff seemed friendly.

Beds are a little uncomfortable but overall the rooms were nice and clean and quiet.

Comfortable room with the necessities. Room design is a bit cumbersome leading from bed to bathroom with the closet in the middle of the room. Unnecessary separation in my opinion but a minor gripe.

Very friendly front desk and breakfast staff. Pool was clean and room was clean and comfortable. BBQ restaurant next door has good food, city park behind hotel has playground, all in walking distance. Kid friendly ans pet friendly. Great stop on the route from St. Louis to Denver.

Calle at front desk very helpfull. Room very clean, bathroom the same. Continental breakfast very complete in a large attractive lobby. WOULD definitely stay here again.
