A regular stop on way to visit daughter in CO. I usually have my dog with me and their pet fee is very reasonable. Our stay was early August, 2018, and the room was excellent. A very clean and quiet room in the back, easy access to pet area. The room rate was excellent too.

Clean, very comfortable beds, quiet. Nothing fancy but for the price, was well worth it. We would definitely stay here again.

My friends and I were delighted to spend a night at the Baymont Inn by Wyndham in Hays, KS. It was a great midpoint between our stops in Columbia, MO and Colorado Springs, CO. Located off of Highway 70, you are surrounded by various choices of eateries and gas stations for any kind of fill up you need. If you're hungry and/or thirsty and don't feel like going past the property line, there's plenty of options for delivery or simply the vending machine which provides a great variety of snacks and drinks. The rooms were very clean, cozy and enjoyable, the beds provided a blissful slumber. Showers were very clean and invigorating. Fantastic Wi-Fi, a fine selection of local and cable channels, and ample room for parking. Enjoy the fitness center to get a great workout, the business center to handle any important emails that come your way and the free breakfast spread to energize yourself bright and early before hitting the highway again. If you're in the Hays, KS area and need a fine comfy place to rest your head, please check out the Baymont Inn.

Our client Ryan Land recently stayed at this property and was very impressed! The room was clean and quiet, there was plenty of parking, and the free breakfast was a perfect way to get started the next day!

The rooms were very nice and the beds we're very comfortable. The warm breakfast that was included was very nice as well. I didn't come across very many employees while there.

Where do I start… Booked my room May 18th for our stay June 1st for 3 nights. Upon arrival I asked the person at the front desk to verify I was still getting the king bed and sofa sleeper. He said yes I walked to the room to find ONLY a king bed no sofa sleeper. I called down to the front desk and he said there is no room with the sofa sleeper available and that room type had to be booked weeks in advance… ummmmmm apparently May 18th isn’t far enough in advance. I asked him to bring me 2 roll away beds then because there was no way the rest of my family was going to fit in the king bed with me (4 total). He brought me 2 rollaway beds with the maintenance man, pushed them in the room, said good luck and walked away! RUDE! I had to completely rearrange the room by moving the chair, nightstand, lamp, desk etc. In order to get the beds to fit. My family had been traveling for 7 hours at this point so they were exhausted and I was NOT going to make them help me. We all woke up went to breakfast and the gentleman stopped me at the front desk and said “I have your room available that you originally booked” oh how ironic! I told him I wanted the manager to call me right away so we could figure out how to compensate my first night since it was a total cluster. The manager called (Vil) and offered me a 20% discount on the nights rate… after I got done laughing I said no try again… I told him I would not accept anything less then 50% and I would leave a bad review.

Not bad hotel but could be updated a little. Worked for us and our family for a place to stay overnight.

Convenient location, but found the beds to be stiff, uncomfortable and oddly loud. Room was clean but the air conditioning/heating unit was right next to the bed so if we ran it whomever was sleeping closest to it froze while the other bed occupant found it okay. We found breakfast unimpressive and opted to eat out the 2nd morning instead. Overall it was good for what we needed, but probably wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Comfortable place to stay in Hays. Rooms are clean and nice and the help is friendly. They accept dogs, provided their well-behaved and you put down a deposit.

Staff was nice, but no hot water for 2 straight days. After driving 12 hours all I wanted was a shower. Will not be returning. Questioning wyndham hotel stays as this is a reoccurring theme with them.

Breakfast was awesome, bed was comfy, room was clean. We travel ALOT! It was our first time visiting. We will come back when traveling through again. ;)

Clean, decent room. The breakfast a great, variety of food. The mattresses were comfortable! Don't get a room on the west side if the wind is blowing… it blows rightcunder the door! We had to turn up the heat. Overrall… decent stay.

Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Friendly folks work here. Breakfast has biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, make your own waffles, pastries and cereal.

Update: Would like to know if it is true that Wyndham hotels have cut their ties with the NRA and now no longer offer that discount? If this is true, I will reconsider my stay here and choose one that won't be so prone to extreme liberal politics… Very comfortable bed and clean room for a very reasonable price. I could occasionally hear freeway noise when big trucks drove by but it wasn't so noisy it kept us awake. The breakfast was pretty good — included fresh fruit, cereal, breads, muffins, waffles and yogurt. Also included sausage patties and fried eggs which was just so-so. Overall I would rate it as a 4.5. If the sausage and eggs were freshly cooked I would give it a 5.

The first room we got was filled with beer bottles and fast food containers. The new room was clean and much nicer but the bed was hard as a ROCK, neither of us got any sleep.

Clean, recently remodeled, excellent service and a great breakfast including egg patties, sausage, biscuits and waffles. Very comfy beds with the prefect amount of pillows. Great price, too. Happy, happy, happy morning!

I give this place 5 stars because it was the right price for what it was. Nothing fancy but our room was clean, we were allowed to have our two dogs ($8 each per night), front desk staff was very friendly, a simple breakfast is offered and there was a fitness room so I could get some exercise in (driving cross country this is important). All in all a pleasant stay. Only complaint is where they tell you you’re able to walk your dog is completely littered with dog poop, but to be fair they make you sign a paper saying you will pick up after your dog but people just don’t listen.

We got in at 1am on the 31st. The woman behind the front desk quoted us $65 for the night. We showed her that Google quoted $54 and she said "That must be for the 31st, I can do $59". Fine. After driving 5 hours after working a full day of work, I just wanted to sleep. Then the bed was so firm, I might as well have slept on a blanket on the floor. And the walls are so thin, I know that the people next door had a dog named Rebel and that they woke up at 4:30 am because by 4:50, I was wide awake thinking about how I wanted to wake up at 8.

Had a wonderful stay! Comfortable beds, clean rooms and a friendly staff! Can't recommend this hotel enough. Would definitely return!

Great overnight stay. Easy access to the highway and plenty of food options around. Comfy bed, decent room. It's not your typical Baymont. The doors aren't inside. They have smoking and non smoking rooms. Breakfast was really good. I'd stay again.

Clean safe secure and affordable. Terrific breakfast and wonderful service. Highly recommend.

They did a great job taking care of us. The breakfast was awesome and the room had a baby bed ready for our arrival! Very friendly folks.

Room was very small and cramped, barely a space to walk. The room was so hot! The air conditioner barely worked enough. And the pillows were terrible. The staff was nice and the breakfast was decent although the breakfast area was small. Decent enough for the $60

Disclaimer: we did not actually stay here. We were going to but my wife got very ill and we had to cancel our plans. They were very understanding and did not charge us even though it was their right to. I talked with Mohit and he was very kind.

Very friendly staff! The hotel was conveniently located near plenty of restaurants and a 24 hour gas station to pick up anything I needed for toiletries. I was out here performing a gig and they were very accommodating upon check in. The room was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

I'm in the transportation industry, so I spend more time in hotels than I do at home. That being said, I really enjoyed my stay here. There's a few things I prioritize and all of them checked out: Room was clean and comfortable. No noticeable odors. Furniture was not dated or overly worn. Newer style AC worked great, constant fan mode worked. Did not have to push bedside table to the side to access outlet, outlets were conveniently placed. Mattress and pillows were comfortable. Shower had good water pressure and towels were soft. Excellent room for the price. Exterior is a little rough which may be a deal breaker for some but I'm of the opinion that I sleep inside the room, not outside of it. I would stay here again without hesitation.

My husband and I stayed there last year with our dog. It was very nice. This year we stayed with our daughter on our way home from CO. The room has an odor of possibly fried food. The Kleenex holder fell off into my foot when I pulled a Kleenex out. The creamer containers were all sticky so I just skipped the coffee. Last year's experience was definitely better.

6/14/2016 Rooms are updated and smell clean as soon as you walk in. Bed sheets feel fresh, nice digital clocks with USB ports on them. Soft pillows and soft towels! They also provide high quality matrix shampoo and conditioner, big mini fridge to store drinks! They also provide a microwave in the room to warm up food! Honestly I was pretty impressed for the 2 star rating review it has, but I tell you what I will come back and I give it a 4 out of 5 stars, rather here than the super 8 across the street! It's worth it just go with this hotel you won't be disappointed, price is fair.

This hotel was a good price with a microwave and a mini fridge in the rooms. It was also clean and the breakfast was terrific for a continental breakfast. They have a waffle maker, fresh biscuits, sausage gravy, sausage, eggs, bananas, apples, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, muffins and bagels. There were a few draw backs. We got a room with two double beds and the room was so small that you're constantly tripping over each other. Also the ac didn't work too good. If you are in the bed right next to the unit you can be comfortable, but if not, then you might be sweating while you try to sleep. Another issue I had was the fact that we were on the second floor and right in the middle of a fairly long building. So, we had to haul our stuff up stairs and walk a little ways down. Also our room was right in front of an outdoor light, therefore there were tons of bugs threatening to fly into our room.

Rooms were modern and very clean. The staff was very courtious and professional. For the price you simply can't go wrong. I like the tile in the bathroom and the oversized vanity mirror. Bobby Jo was an extremely nice person who kept the breakfast bar VERY clean. I work in the food industry so CLEAN FOOD PREP areas are important to me. Bobby Jo is certainly proud of her work as she should be. Great breakfast! I have never stayed at this chain before and because of my experience I will certainly keep my eyes open for more Baymonts.

Great place to stay great value, there is a work out room and the staff is friendly and rooms are clean and spacious — there is a complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi. The parking lot was well lit. Great place to stay — will stay here again in the future!

Stayed at this establishment for the night, it's all right but check your credit card statement before you leave town. They charged me for a made up room charge.

Decent price, friendly folks. Not my normal accommodations, but it was OK for one night.

We checked in on Monday 1/16. The front desk was really rude telling us that they need to have a copy of our debit card when clc is paying for it. Also I called. Down to the front desk. Because the toilet got cloged. When they came in to unclog the toilet they cleaned the room, with a do not disturb sign in the door. The people were mad because we wernt checking out. If it wasn't the dead middle of winter I would of rather stay in, my car than stay here.

Nice beds. Comfortable room. Conveniently located by the freeway and also very close to other stores and restaurants.

Cheap small room, not very clean, black mold growing in service directory book. Shower head mounted way too low at 4 feet means stooping to get washed. So much better right down the road.

Very nice hotel. My fiancé and I stayed here for when he had Drill. We stayed in the whirlpool suite and we were very impressed as well as we left at 3am to get to Hays by 7am and was able to check in early which was nice for me not having to drive around everywhere before I could check in. We also called ahead and asked. Also asking for late check out since he goes to drill until 5pm and again I would have to drive around. But not this hotel. It is very clean and very comfortable. I was absolutely in love with the pillows. Every hotel you go it seems like their pillows are rock hard but not this hotel. I love the size of the bed my fiancé and I had a lot of room. My fiancé has a hard time sleeping good in hotel beds and he was impressed he got a great nights sleep. I would definitely say that we would stay here again.

This is my first time staying here, and im a little edgy about hotels but me and my husband got checked and I did a do over twice and checking the room and making sure everything was ok. And its actually really clean and the bathroom was spotless, the only thing I dont like is the outside rooms.

Great rooms they look like they've been recently remodeled. The beds are a bit to firm but not like a plank of wood. The breakfast was great make your own Belgian waffles and they also have bacon and eggs. The only negative or info need to know is most of the rooms are out side.

It was overall good. 5 dollars for your pet to stay with you isn't bad at all. The beds are a bit on the small side but they are still comfy and clean. The breakfast was good and they even had baby chairs for kids, that was a huge plus for us. The only reason I didn't give 4 stars is because under one bed the metal under part was sticking out. But overall it was clean and friendly service. If I'm ever in the area and need a place to stay again I will definitely be coming here.

Your typical doors face outward hotel and all the outside noise that comes with it. I will warn you that their queen beds are NOT queen size. I sleep in a queen bed almost every night of my life, these are NOT queen beds. The room was really clean and totally in order. Get there early for the Continental breakfast. Decently stocked but there is one huge problem, it's location is a giant choke point in the entire attempt at getting your breakfast. Enjoy tripping over complete strangers in your attempt at sustenance. My family and I got a very good night's sleep but I was neither wowed nor revolted by this place.

The lower ratings must have come before an overhaul. This hotel is awesome. My wife and I called here last minute after a nightmare of an experience at Days Inn and they were able to give us a room without any trouble, even with our dog (no pet fee). Sounds like this place gets a lot of business from disappointed guests seeking refuge after trying any of the surrounding hotels (read some reviews about the Ramada next door, laughable). This place is really clean, has a complementary breakfast bar, and free Wi-fi.

Our experience at this hotel was horrible. We arrived at the hotel around the entire 1 pm and immediately started seeing bugs on the carpet, also had crickets and dirty. I went to the reception to put the complaint and only told me that he could not do anything until the next morning. We were up most of the night and in the morning I started to feel very itchy in the body and left me some hives. We started to check the bed had bedbugs, we immediately went out of there but we had already been up all night in that horrible place. I not so good, it's pretty dirty in all aspects.

Hate to see these bad reviews below. The Baymont when we were there was very clean and had great beds. However the location that Google shows on the map is for Hotel 6, not the Baymont. The Hotel 6 when we were there previously was not too good (though we liked their showers). The Baymont is on the west side of vine just south of I70.
