I was very happy to find that this hotel in the middle of nowhere was very good! Staff was extremely friendly, there is an excellent parking place for large vehicles (on the frontage road between the hotel and the Home Depot, and a Walmart within a mile or so.

Right off the highway. Rooms were clean. Service was good. Breakfast was good and pool was good temp.

Front desk staff was awesome and the hotel was clean. We enjoyed the pool and fitness room and although the view from our room was of Home Depot, the room was clean, spacious and housekeeping was great. Great location right off I-70, just don't visit the IHOP across the parking lot, definitely find one of the other great restaurants in the area.

Great stop in Hays. Good antique store right off highway and a lovely quilt/knitting store close by.

Bed ok. Breakfast passable. AC would NOT cool the room. Twas a bad night's sleep for the money. NOT happy!

Very friendly staff and environment. The rooms however are aging (rust visible on the ceiling emergency sprinklers, some wallpaper starting to peal in the bathroom, and the carpets looking past their prime). Overall, a decent experience and it sure beats the likes of the economy hotels.

Good breakfast with sausage and eggs. Mildew and used soap in shower. Convenient to food & fuel.

Highly recommend… Everyone here was amazingly nice! The breakfast was delicious and they didn't run out of stuff like others typically do. The room was comfortable, got surprised with a Jacuzzi tub which was awesome!

Always a good stay here. Comfortable beds, clean facilities. Kids enjoy the pool & hot tub. Only complaint is the on & off of air conditioning is a bit loud & like all hotels there's too much light coming in the room from hall.

They were so nice to get us a last-minute deal on a room since we were too tired to keep driving. The room was nice, but the deadbolt seemed to not turn easily.

Upon walking into the room it smelled like pizza so we had to request air freshener. Our keys continuously kept deactivating (they were not next to credit cards or cell phones). In all we had to make 5 extra trips to the front desk just to get back into our room. The grout in the bathroom was supposed to be a beige color but it was black on the majority of the floor. There was hair in the "clean" shower mat and white powder on the carpet that goes up the bottom of the wall. The walls had brown and black grime on them. They really need a better cleaning crew. I do have to thank Eric at the front desk for taking care of the people running around above us after 11pm. We definitely will not be staying here again on our way thru Kansas and I would highly recommend no one else do so either.

Stayed there for a night, lady at the reception was courteous but not the old guy working late night shift.

Soft, comfortable beds and rooms are well-sized. Only reason for 4/5 is because a lot of the metal/chrome like the shower faucet and fire extinguisher nozzle etc were covered in rust. Breakfast is good and plenty of choices to and have comfortable chairs to sit on. Friendly staff.

Great friendly staff. There was a few small maintenance issues, but I seen the staff working diligently at correcting the issue. They also had a 5pm promo which was very nice. I would stay here again. Pool was nice jucuzzi was nice jets were a little weak. Great stay!

The room seemed old and the carpet felt damp and sticky. One of the two elevators was not working. Good breakfast. Convenient location. The staff is friendly. They were able to accommodate our room request.

I'm a Hilton honors member, I stay at Hilton and Hampton inn most often when traveling. This past weekend I was driving from Wichita, KS, home to Denver, CO, and I-70 was closed at hays, due to bad weather. When I went in to the Hampton inn at hays, it took at least 5 minutes for anyone to greet me, and all they said was "if you're looking for a room, we are all full. " They offered no help in finding another room elsewhere, and when I asked questions about if there was a estimated time of reopening of I-70, the answer was a simple, curt "nope. " I would recommend the Fort Hays Inn down the road instead. They were helpful, kind, sympathetic, and their rooms were very clean.

Nice hotel clean rooms. Beds were just ok but overall a good place to stop for the night.

The bed was the absolute worst. Every time my fiance moved his pinky toe the whole thing shook. I could barely get any sleep. I used to go to Hampton Inns specifically for the beds, but I think they have better beds just about anywhere. The shower was dirty and had clearly seen better days. The elevator made weird noises and over all it was definitely not worth $100. That being said the fridge was large and they have a charging stations for Tesla folks. Staff was nice.

Stayed one night while traveling for work — friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed and a better than average breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others staying in Hays, KS.

I stayed a night at the Hampton Inn in hays for a funeral I was attending. The service was nice and quick took me less than 2 minutes to check in. It was every easy to find and there's an IHOP right next to it. The room was very clean soon stubble and it had a every relaxing feel to it.

Clean large rooms, very noisy, hot breakfast was cold.

This Hampton Inn in Hays Kansas is a perfect example of what you would expect of this Hilton chain of moderately priced hotel. Great beds, smiling service, clean through out and the standard Hampton continental breakfast. I have stayed in at lease 100 Hampton Inns and this one is as good as they get. For many years I traveled for a living and I stayed in these almost exclusively. 5 stars.

Fitness room above average for a hotel (more than just a treadmill, elliptical, and stationary bike). Bedding was way too hot, don't use the covers and I got cold, there was no happy medium. Otherwise very spacious and clean, no complaints there.

Had a fairly neutral experience here. Nothing really stood out to make that "WOW" factor. The grounds were well kept, but amenities were very limited and scarce. The breakfast was average. Nothing special but nothing disgusting.

As so far, all Hamptons have been a splendid experience. This one was no exception. Blissfully soft beds, friendly service, quiet atmosphere, great showers, etc. Keep up the wonderful service, Hampton Inn!

The room was clean. The king size bed was nice and comfortable, but the pullout bed was uncomfortable.

Not enough breakfast food, they ran out. The rooms were very clean and service was okay. The rooms were too small and there was no room for a blow up mattress.
