We book our room through booking. Com. The property room which was provided to us was disgusting! The room carpet was filthy and very old. The bed sheets were very old, torn and gross with stains. The bathroom towels smell awful and musty! The room heater made terrible loud noise and we were unable to rest. There was no microwave or fridge inside the room. There was only one sitting chair in the room for two full size bed. There was even a spider crawling underneath the comforter on the bed. It was terrible that we booked this place seeing others good reviews. It is definitely very cheap place to stay. I would not recommend this place! Expensive yet poor service and not maintained well cabins.

Such a awesome little spot. Cabin type little houses with all the amenities. I appreciate that they were able to accommodate my family on such a short notice.

I wouldn't stay here even if you paid me too… I know a few people who had just stayed their and said there cabins were a complete mess with ripped screens, NO AC and they all had ASTHMA and couldn't BREATHE and the STAFF refuse to help them in any way or move them to cabins that had AC's or Cabins that had working Windows. Also the cabins were a mess and when they asked to speak with the owner of the cabins they were told i’m sorry we can’t give you the number they had asked why don’t you call and hand me the phone and they refused to do so and had a major Additude. so like I said DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY! As they didn't feel safe in the cabins with no screens so they couldn't leave the windows open like the staff wanted them too. Umm No Screen no thank you. So I will not be recommending this property to anyone who is traveling in MT there better off staying at a Motel 6 or any motel/hotel 🤬 👎🏻 🖕🏻😡over Hibernatation Station.

We booked our families trip months in advance to stay at Hibernation Station. Our cabin was on the second floor and we had no air conditioning unit (even though it’s advertised). Our cabin stayed around 80 degrees even with windows open and box fans blowing. Everyone was hot and we didn’t sleep well the entire trip. The staff also told me they didn’t know their wasn’t air conditioning. We were super disappointed.

Stayed here last weekend and had a great experience. Cabins were clean, location is beautiful, and staff is great!

These are the nicest people. They actually care about their quests and the welfare of their guests. I can't say enough good things about them. Words are just not enough. And huge shout out to "Saint" Jake! Can't wait to see you guys again ❤

This place is absolutely amazing and the staff is very friendly. Staying in the cabin is like a dream come true, most beautiful cabin I've ever stayed in.

The People are friendly and the cabins are beautiful and very relaxing, I would highly recommend this place. Having No WiFI was actually refreshing and the beds were comfortable. If your going to stay near Yellowstone then you cannot go wrong staying here and you also don't need to fight traffic to get to the entrance. I want my retirement log cabin designed exactly like these were.

Very friendly nice place great location.

Very high, over-priced. Beware of getting an UPSTAIRS cabin, espeically if you are handicapped. There was no indication on the reservation that it was upstairs (who expects a two-level cabin? ) AND the upstairs is HOT with NO air conditioning. That makes for a very uncomfortable stay, especially is you are spending any time in the cabin during the day. It cools down naturally at night, but not until well after you're in bed. I've never paid this much for the most luxurious hotel, and I've NEVER had a room without air conditioning in the last 50 years!

We were surprised at the cost of the unit because even though it had the space for a kitchen, it did not include one. There was not even a microwave. We we’re close to yellowstone and other near by attractions, but we would probably not choose this property for a repeat trip to this area. The bed was comfortable but the shower was like warm. It was very primitive with a high price tag. Very disappointed.

It was so unexpected to find such an incredible place. The cabin was GORGEOUS! The ambiance amazing. The people fantastic. It was cozy, yet modern, rustic yet comfortable, in town, yet felt like a mountain cabin away from it all. Close to Yellowstone Park, restaurants, and downtown. I have travelled all over the world… this is the one place I would come back to.

Overall, a good experience. The staff was very friendly. The cabin was decently sized and the bed was extremely comfortable. We got to park right in front of the cabin which was a huge relief (we’re sick of carrying our bags to and from hotels). I really, really wish it had air conditioning though, it was so darn hot in there. Or at least a fan!

Cabin was beautiful. Amenities were on a par with motel 6. Jacuzzi tub didn't work. Only 2 bath towels in room. Only 1 wine glass & 1 water glass. They did bring extra towels on request and a "wine" glass that was actually a juice glass. Could not use gas fireplace as it heated up the room but hot day in West Yellowstone. Disappointing as this was our 25th wedding anniversary trip. Not worth the high cost of the room.

Really 3.5 stars The good: convenient, yet away from the congested center of West Yellowstone. Cabins are cool and pretty rustic (seriously needing exterior maintenance with the harsh Winters there). Bed was super comfortable. Hanging closet, small fridge, jacuzzi, see through fireplace. The odd and not so good: This will be a big one for some — no door or curtain where the shower/tub is. It has a separate toilet with a door in the same space (not for larger people — it was tight and I'm not a big person). The Jets on the jacuzzi were pretty disgusting, obviously not seriously cleaned in a long time so would not use. Coffee maker was busted. When they made up the room they simply gathered up pajamas into said made bed so we didn't know where they were until we found them mixed into the bedclothes. Coffee pot was not cleaned and our dirty cups with coffee rings were put back where we originally find them. No replacement coffee was provided and were apparently out when I checked (though they gave me filters to use my own coffee I picked up). The larger of two shades was broken and couldn't be opened. For a cost of over $300 per night with fees and taxes, they should be more on their game.

I love the concept. But when I placed reservations for 10 days. I asked for a queen size bed and asked if they had a refrigerator they said yes and I would be placed in that cabin. When we arrived we got neither. Was not happy about that. Plus the cleaning lady left our door unlocked 4 times. That could of been because the door was hard to close and you had to double check that it was. The people were very nice amd the cabin was clean. If you stay in the summertime make sure you get a cabin with air conditioning.

Beautiful cabin, very spacious. Comfortable bed, nice jacuzzi tub. Only not so great thing would be the amount of hot water and lack of Wi-Fi.

Pretty cabin, but that didn’t justify the dried urine spots on the toilet seat upon check in, and moldy shower curtain. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Wouldn’t be a repeat customers either.

With the price paid I expected more. The room was for two but we in 3, they set up a cot and suitcases in the room, it was difficult to move. However, we have paid for 3. Then the entire room, bathroom included a little dated. We stayed two nights and the beds were not remade, but only pulled up the sheets, leaving them on a map, that my son was not more. It was between the sheets. Of the beautiful only house characteristic of the raw wood. However, in March not only found this to June free. Without spending 500 € per night. Unfortunately for us tourists, yellowstone, and too popular is all including hoteliers will take advantage of k.

Cabin 36 June 15-16, 2018. The cabin has the BEST decor, cute grounds and close to everything in West Yellowstone. Negatives:The cabin was somewhat clean but very worn. Beds are hard. They are just a mattress laying on a wood board with no give what so ever at all. We all had back aches. No Wi-Fi in your cabin. The hot water is luke warm at best, then you only get about a fourth full tub of water, in the large jet tub. The water smells. The cabins are in need of maintenance outside as well. The tub has mold. The bath towels are in shreds. Cabin 36 has no air conditioning. Our visit to Hibernation Station was definitely not worth the money.

Nice concept and more intimate then the usual hotel. However the cabins are in need of maintenance, housekeeping lack in doing a thorough job and the supplied cookware is in need of replacement. Of you stay, best to bring your own kitchen supplies.

Most of the cabins have no air conditioning, though they never reveal that fact on their website, so they instruct everyone to leave their windows open all night long. This is completely unsafe plus the insects come flying in through the screens that aren’t even screwed into the window frame. It took us multiple maintenance visits before they could get the heater to turn off and our cabin didn’t have so much as a ceiling fan. On top of the sweltering heat, the people above us were stomping and running machines all night long so we couldn’t sleep. I have stayed in Motel 6’s that seemed like the Waldorf Astoria compared to this flea bag place and the woman we encountered at the front desk was snotty, adding insult to injury. Weeks before we came here, we had to shorten our stay and they charged us 10% for the entire original booking period (so I paid 110% of the already outrageously overpriced rate for this terrible room). I have been to West Yellowstone many times and will come many more but never will I stay at The Hibernation Station!

We stayed as a family in a cabin capable of sleeping at least six. It’s a tight space. Beds were okay, but not the best. I’d agree that Wi-Fi is a normal amenity and it was only available in the wireless room. We had a critter in our bedroom ceiling. They did provide a fan so we wouldn’t hear it scratching. Our cabin was clean, but well worn.

Highly recommend, the log cabins are so adorable, staff are amazing. Scenery around is out of this world. Would love to come back here in Winter it must be truly amazing. Highly recommend the complimentary hot chocolate.

Cosy cabins and reception is open late which was handy as we spent the morning in Yellowstone without phone reception and couldn't call in to say we were arriving late. Complimentary coffee in the morning was appreciated. Would be better with Wi-Fi in the room.

Our visit here was definitely not worth the money. The positives are the decor and the double sided fireplace in the cabin we were in. We were excited to have a jetted tub to relax in after a long day. However, the water heater isn't set high enough to have very hot water so you can't fill the tub without the water turning cold. The TV not working was a constant issue. Tom had to come fix it when we checked in. Thereafter, my husband had to fix it every day. They charged us an extra $90.00 for our two little dogs which is ridiculous. The most upsetting is that upon leaving my husband was asked by a young lady about our stay. My husband tried to tell her we were unhappy and she couldn't have cared less. We will not recommend this facility to anyone.

Awesome place! Beautiful interior and well stocked. Very comfortable and spacious.

Nice place for our 5 day trip to West Yellowstone for our annual snowmobile trip. Convenient to town and most important right to the trail head to go out into the mountains for the day.

Waaaaayyyy pricey for what you get. I upgraded to the cabin with what I was told was a full kitchen, turns out a full kitchen constitutes a full size fridge, 3 square of counter space, a sink, microwave and Coleman propane stove (propane not included. ) It's a cute little facility yes, but totally not worth the price they're asking.

This place has some character and is definitely unique. However, it does not appear that the owner/operator is investing much in general upkeep. We stayed in a pet-friendly cabin. Upon our arrival, I quickly spotted some noticeable damage to one of the window blinds and also realized that the bathroom faucet was broken. I called the front desk to show them the issues so that we wouldn't be charged for any pre-existing damages. The man was friendly and, after "fixing" the faucet, assured us that he would make a note of the issues. Although the unit appeared to be clean and nicely furnished, I'm not sure you can call it a "luxury cabin" when there is no AC. Even with the windows open, it was quite warm at night. Unfortunately, we were too afraid to turn the wobbly ceiling fan up high for fear that it might come crashing down. For the price we paid, I would expect a little more.

Adorable cabins, and they are pet friendly! The hot chocolate in the lobby was a great perk. The cabin had nice linens, and was heated. There was no Wi-Fi, which was a little weird for the price, but since we only stayed one night it wasn't an issue. We spent some time walking around the city in the evening and really enjoyed that. The price seemed pretty high, but honestly they were basically the cheapest we could find in town. We felt like we were the only tourists in town, and were surprised that we couldn't find anything even starting under $100! We were very thankful for the comfortable, pet friendly accommodations.

I absolutely loved it! My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was the best romantic small cabin for 2 people. They also have larger cabins for families with more beds. It's also conveniently right next to the park so it's a nice home base. I also love the western style to it. Everything is perfect and all of the employees were so friendly and very clean. I enjoy coming here all the time!

No AC! We paid $350 a night for a room that they NEVER told us did NOT have AC. And it was on the 2nd floor. We could hardly sleep. Good thing we weren't here in the day. The second night we called and they gave us some fans. That would have been nice the first night. I complained upon leaving and was given $35 credit! That was almost a slap in the face. If you decide to stay here make sure you get a room with air conditioning because it gets HOT! The least they could do is put in a swamp cooler.

A great cabin in West Yellowstone! We found this lovely place by accident and it was a dream. Secluded at the edge of town, but still close to everything. Cabin was very clean, spacious, and amazing beds. Air conditioner worked great, but we just opened the windows. Don't pass over this place!

We love Hibernation Station. This is a family friendly place to relax and have fun. The staff is extra helpful with great attitudes. We have stayed here many times over the years and hopefully will have the opportunity to stay again.

The place was nice, the cabins clean and cozy. There wasn't enough hot water for a bath, or even just two showers in a row. When we told them, thinking it was a maintenance issue, they said that's just the way it was. The playground was nice for our little one. Only one building has Wi-Fi. The free coffee in the morning was super bitter, so they probably don't change it till it's gone, no matter how old. Location is excellent. Overall good, not great and not excellent.

Wonderful, memorable stay. Great location at south end of town, giving the place a private setting. The cabin was everything one would want in such an idyllic setting. I can't imagine going back to Yellowstone and not staying here. Thanks, Katrina, for 2 great nights in the Wizard Cabin.

I love to stay here. The staff are friendly. The cabins are beautiful and very clean. This is the best place on earth. I recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you hibernation station, for another wonderful stay.

So we were treated very well upon check in and the stAff was wonderful. But the room left a lot to be desired. I was told when booked it had air conditioner but it did not. The room had more dust and cobwebs in it the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I had ever slept in. The sheets kept coming off and it was angled down so your head was below your feet. Cabin 26 I would not recommend to anyone I was so happy it was only 2 nights I wish for the money I paid almost $700 for 2 nights it would have been more upscale or cleaner. Very dark room and had a smell to it. Oh and did I say you could only get Wi-Fi if we went to a room it was not in ours. Another thing I was not told about. I would not recommend this place to anyone and really wanted my money back as I was totally dissatisfied with the place. Again people were nice but rest was a complete disaster.

We stayed last year in August 2015 for our family trip. Your cabins, & staff were completely amazing & is the main reason I'm staying again this year for a big event in July 2016. Bravo! I highly recommend your making us feel wonderful during our stay away from home.

Cabin 20 great room very comfy beds. Clean and fun.

Wifi doesn't work at all and they broke my laptop charger so now I have no laptop for the whole of the rest of my holiday. Cabin itself was fine.

Awesome place! It feels like log cabin camping. My only beef is that the hot tub is under construction and that was not communicated on the website, reservation confirmations, or upon check in.

Hibernation Station is the perfect place to stay if you're visiting West Yellowstone. The staff is among the nicest people I've met in hospitality services; my dogs were even greated with much love. The room was super cozy and even came equipped with dishes. They also accepted over night mail for me, holding it a day before arriving. If you're planning to stay in West Yellowstone, this is the place to stay.

We stayed there for a couple of days to check out Yellowstone and I was sadly disappointed in our cabin. It was and it wasn't the cleanest cabin I have ever stayed in. The mini-blind was broken and anybody could see in our cabin after dark, as they were the only "curtains' on the windows. The cabin really needed a good dusting and cleaning. For the price of $200+ per night, you would think that they would have Wifi in the cabins but instead you have to visit their "internet access" cabin instead. Our cabin had a kitchenette but after buying $30 in groceries for breakfast, we realized that it had no range, just a microwave and a refrigerator. I don't think I would stay there again. I think I would try one of the other hotels/motels in the area.

Nightmare! it's a nightmare! I got a lot of bites on my neck and arms during the very first night we stayed at this inn. We informed this issue to the front desk, but they only told us to buy bug spray from them. The 2nd night, the situation was even worse. We had to tell them again, but they let us wait for their manager for uncertain time, from one hour to several hours. Eventually the manager came and told us they would refund all our credits, but later on, it turned out to be a lie. I took a couple of photos of the bites on my skin, please have a look. Anyway I won't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hibernation Station and we would recommend them to everyone. I even took some extra brochures to pass out to my friends back home. The day we checked out, we asked to see another cabin that could accommodate our whole family, because we will be going back. We rolled into West Yellowstone pretty late, about 8:30 pm, after a long day enjoying the park, and we were please to see their office was still open and they greeted us warmly and offered us a great rate, comparable to what the other chain hotels were offering us that same night. Why stay in a hotel when you can have a cabin? Our cabin was perfectly comfortable, clean, warm, inviting and quiet. We enjoyed the giant bathtub in our room, and also enjoyed all the free goodies they had at the front desk. The staff was very polite and helpful and the woman at the desk even offered to take my postcard down to the post office for me later that day. Thanks for the great stay, Hibernation Station. We'll be back.

The Hibernation Station is a resort I will always highly recommend. My family and I stayed here for a week and didn't want to leave. The staff is very helpful and treat you like your family. The rooms are very warm, cozy and give you the feeling you are in the mountains and you don't want to leave. The location is great. You are right next to Yellowstone Park. This is a very nice and clean resort. My family and I would sit out on the deck at night and listen to the wolves howl. What an experience. I will be back many times, and recommend if you are in the Yellowstone area to stay at the Hibernation Station.

My wife and two teenagers and I stayed here for one night as we passed through from Yellowstone. The cabin was very nice. Beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The bedding was nice and the pillows were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was free internet access at the business center.
