When I arrived no one was at the fro t desk, it was 10 minutes before someone came out to attend the guest that was waiting. After all that the young lady keyed our room and for what room 102 was occupied by someone else. Had to get another room 104 it was dirty bathroom fan wasn’t working to pull the humidity and had to clean it before I allowed my mother to use the shower. Overall I was disappointed with Wingate.

The accommodations for a great very clean staff was very courteous.

Mold in the bathroom, food on the walls, elevator not been inspected in over a year,
GM is rude and The Owner Vishrut Patel rude and said “I got your money already o well” this place is not good.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyway. For starters they don’t tell you there will be a $75.00 hold per room in addition to the total amount due per room. Only way you would know this is if you went into the actual hotel to book the room and read the sign. I encountered 3 employees well on my 1 night visit and 2 out of 3 both complained about working long hours and being tired. Myself being a certified business administrator and a healthcare worker I work long hours as well, between 12-17hours a day. However, I can assure you my customers don’t know that. I will not be visiting this hotel again and I will tell others don’t as well. Also, the bed wasn’t comfortable.

Great night stay for my family as we stayed to be close to the airport. The hotel was very clean and the staff was awesome. They have a nice indoor pool and a great breakfast. We will stay here again on our next stay to Atlanta.

It was a great experience. The only issue we had was getting additional towels which is really weird. Housekeeping took our towels and said they would bring more but I had to walk down myself and get some later in the day. Others asked for more to use a face towels and they said more than 4 was not hotel policy.

I just started working here and the entire staff is wonderful like me. Come on by and pay us a visit. We would love to have you as our guests.

Great rooms and amenities! Loved it and the full breakfast buffet! My husband especially liked to homemade grits! He forgot he was in the South!

Terrible, it's one step above a nightmare. I should have slept in my car I would have been better. Had to go to the Dollar General in by cleaning products to clean the room myself towels had holes in them.

Entire 4th floor used to be the smoking floor so the smell of smoke will always be there so definitely get a room on another floor if you dislike the smell. The towel rack in the bathroom was rusted, loose, and felt like it was about to break off of the wall. The lamp was so loose it was leaning 25°. There was only 1 bedside table for a king sized bed. The TV wouldn't change channels so I called the front desk to have maintenance come take a look. After about 30 minutes of waiting and calling back to the desk, I was told that maintenance hadn't "called back" so I told them to just forget about it. Luckily my girlfriend figured out how to do a hard reset which fixed our TV issues. Overall a pretty disappointing experience.

Pros: Friendly staff, nice appearance, clean room, good breakfast Cons: Very uncomfortable bed (hard and springy), needs new pillows (very lumpy), GROSS JACUZZI (This is primary reason I chose this hotel over surrounding hotels that also had indoor pool. Such a disappointment it really messed up my R&R night away from home after a long, stressful week) Sauna does not work. Needless to say I was fooled by the description and was not able to properly relax as I had planned.

The lady at the front desk who checked me in went way out of her way to help. The room was good (no complaints) but because of the service I highly recommend this hotel. Kudos!

Darrius was great! Friendly staff, pool was warm, hot tub worked great, breakfast was good, and the room was clean. Great place to take the kids for a night for us. We will definitely be back when we come back to Atlanta.

It was okay. The mattress was old and you could feel it but it wasn't bad. It was decently clean. Only two small pillows per bed. No remote (front desk had one, but no batteries) and no do not disturb card. Plenty of towels though and the heat worked great. Surprisingly for being right next to the elevator I didn't hear anyone.

Great hotel, people were very hospitable and accommodating. Breakfast was a little lacking for the price. Stayed at cheaper places that had more variety. Other than that I would start there again. Indoor pool and hot tub was a plus.

Over all it's a nice place to stay. However the one thing that really bothers me is if you aren't finished with your breakfast or done with your morning coffee by exactly 9:30, the one employee walks through and announces that breakfast is over and shuts the lights off as well as the TV… even if you are watching the news or weather… "click" lights out! It just seems rude to me. Other than that, the rooms are nice and most employees are friendly and helpful.

Second night here. It is what it is. The staff is pleasant and check in was very quick. Breakfast is available and there's a pool. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious.

Well, where should I begin. We arrived the evening of Feb 8 — my daughter and I were there to go to the Atlanta Apparel Mart from Gulf Shores, AL. We arrived around 900EST after a 6 hr drive. The staff was awesome at check-in… we get to our room and cannot get the TV to Work at all. It comes on, but nothing. We are so tired at this point, we just go to bed. Well, the pillows are like lumps of foam and the bed is absolutely awful. We just say heck with it and try to get some sleep. We get up on Fri and go to breakfast. That’s another story… food is horrible so we leave and head to downtown Atlanta — we are originally from Atlanta as a side post. Anyway after a long and grueling day of purchasing for our boutique in Gulf Shores, we return to the hotel around 900pm totally exhausted. Oh, we report to the front desk as we leave about our TV and an seasoned gentleman said he would have it checked. Anyway we get to the room, still no TV and our toilet will not flush. I make a call to the front desk and a gentleman very promptly responds to our room — very courteous and fixes our toilet and finally gets the TV online. We again have the pillow and mattress issue. We get up on Saturday to again finish our purchasing expedition only to discover we not only do not have hot water — we have no water at all. After calling the front desk and told they will call us right back. Ok, we get up at 900am and discover all of this.

Stayed here while working in Georgia for a week. The staff was great. Darius was nice and helped me print out our tickets. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Lots of restaurants within walking distance (Bojangles, Taco Bell, Starbucks, Chic-fil-a, Wendy's, McDonald's, Waffle House, Cracker Barrel, Quick Trip). Recommending Wingate for our next trip for sure.

Staff was friendly and helpful at check in. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed and linens were clean and comfy. Breakfast was full hot complete and free to all guests. Location was good and parking was easy. The only negative was a few wear and tear issues in the bathroom especially on the vanity and flaking paint on the back of the bathroom door.

I enjoyed me stay at Wingate. Conveinient location (near the airport), full breakfast, and great customer service. Darius the on-duty manager, was curteous and recommended us a great place for dinner! We'll be staying here on the next trip Atlanta.

Friendly staff and clean rooms but the pool was freezing, the hot tub and sauna were not in service. A little disappointed as that was the main reason why we chose to stay there. Continental breakfast is decent — enough to get you going for the start of the day, but nothing spectacular.

Comparable to Holiday Inn Express, but without Keurig machines in the rooms. Very comfortable, but not luxurious.

Let me start off by saying I am only giving the hotel two stars because it was nice hotel. The grounds were kept well. The cleaning staff was responsive and orderly. The breakfast was decent. Finally, my room was nice — no issues there. However, let me tell you how my experience was Friday night. I checked in, was given a key to enter. I leave to eat and come back an hour later to find out my Wyndham rewards did not apply to the stay appropriately. I say okay the points are there can you just apply the points as it's now after 11pm, I'm tired from driving almost 10 hours away from home, and I wanna sleep. I kept trying to get the points to apply on my phone. I could not grt customer service on the line because it was after business hours. The General manager Tom was so rude over the phone. He was completely unsympathetic to the situation. He made me check out and vacate my room and I sat in the lobby til after midnight. The on duty manager Darius was incompetent and couldn't help. Eventually I was able to redeem my rewards on their desktop (the mobile site obviously had a glitch). As the reservation was made after midnight it booked me from sat morning to sunday check out although it was late Friday evening darius told me not to worry about it I would be fine until sunday. Well come sat morning Tyanna, another manager tells me I am not fine and I had to book again for sat to sun. Well now I have two reservations sat to sunday.

The front desk lady was polite and helpful. Booking and location was easy to find. I arrived adter dark and the only thing about parking is that the parking lot is not aluminated enough and appear that there is not enough surveillance covers of the parking lot. Other than that, the stay was fine.

First room smelled of smoke, some with the representative and they immediately changed our room without hesitation.

My compliments to Louise, Tyanna and Scottie S. Who made our experience fleeing from Hurricane Irma so much more tolerable. They were kind, friendly, and gracious. After hearing about our situation, Scottie S. Magically produced a 5 gallon gas can to use because of the gas shortage in Florida. Louise, the "breakfast lady" washed and gave me a gallon milk container to use to get gas to get back to Florida, as well. Tyanna, the charming front desk associate, helped us extend our stay as our travel plans kept changing. She is professional, kind and funny. We found the property and rooms were clean, and the breakfasts were ok. Some of the furniture was a bit stained and should be changed. I would still recommend this hotel.

Room was clean. Free breakfast had quite a few choices. Exercise room small but nice. The indoor swimming pool area could be cleaner, and Jacuzzi should be cleaner. Carpet was wet near on wall of A/C, they said that it was due to tropical storm. Overall liked our stay.

Clean and trending atmosphere. Service was great and desk manager was very pleasant. Room was very nice and modern, bed was comfortable. Would revisit if in the area.

Very nice and helpful staff. I booked a suite with a very large hot tub, which was nice. The price was a bit steep, but I would definitely stay here again if I were looking for a place in that price range. It was well worth it compared to similar hotels with less amenities. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I had no issues at all! A very safe and quiet area.

I was sent to stay at this hotel by my employer due to a three week work assignment. This was my first time visiting Atlanta, GA and was very excited until this awful hotel experience. I woke up the first night with a bug bites all over, and told the hotel manager. They told me they will change my room, even though they didn't think there were any bugs. Too bad, according to research, quickly looking at a bed and under the comforter is during the day time is not an appropriate way to check. I went to the next room and woke up the following day with even more bites covering my entire body. Hoping this was a rear mosquito in Atlanta, and not truly bed bugs, I went to the ER. After seeing a physician they confirmed I did get bitten by bed bugs, but could be even worse! I was in perfectly good (working) condition when I arrived in GA to take on the work assignment, now I am out of work due to the condition, and had to transfer to a completely different hotel. The hotel seemed the least bit concerned, and has no interest in reimbursing me or my company. I am so disgusted, never ever had bedbugs, and figured this would have been a clean enough hotel to not expect this. I travel very often and will NEVER stay at another Wingate after this experience.

Close to the interstate, friendly staff, room was clean. I did hear about another guest who found bedbugs in their room and they were upgraded to a different room. Did a thorough check of my own room and found it bug free. Breakfast was free, so no complaints there. We came back later in the afternoon and found our room clean and freshly stocked with towels. Would stay again if visiting Atlanta.

I love this place… my husband and I stay here every time we visit Atlanta… the staff is always professional and polite… we have stayed in several of the rooms and they are always clean and nice… we don't really use the amenities but there are a lot… there is also a really good breakfast… I don't get to go most of the time because the beds are so comfortable… I usually sleep right through it!

I haven't been there yet. Said that I publicly posting I hit a star and off I go hating the place. I'm sorry, darn!

Overall hotel experience was great until my cooler was STOLEN from the parking lot. I spoke with the security manager (Tom) about reviewing the video tape, but he played semantics until he finally took a brief look at the tape. He had me write down my contact info and I haven't heard from him since. This was my first time staying at a Wingate — will avoid these Hotels in the future.

I love this place, very clean, the staff nice.

Nice hotel. Room was clean. Staff very friendly. The a/c wasn't great in my room on the front of the building that gets sun during the day. Room was very hot and never got below 69 or 70 degrees, was usually about 78 during the day.

By far the best costumer service of any hotel ive been too. Dinah checked us in, very personable, and she went out of her way to be competative and secure us a room on a packed night. Katrina, who replaced Dinah for night shift, found out my daughter could only have juice and water before bed and since they were out of it in the shop, she got some for her from the closed complementary machine. Cathye made sure we got breakfast even after we woke up late and had almoat finished closing down. She also like the rest was amazing too my daughter. I stopped because of Google reviews. Best hotel experience ever. These caliber employees belong in a 5 star hotel. Pool and hot tub were clean and kid friendly w 11pm close.
