Great staff. Bed was comfortable. Got good sleep after 12 hours of driving.

1: 50 am the fire alarm activated. Full evacuation. In the rain. Guests of all description. The lone employee told me it was excessive steam from a shower.? That's a first. Lots of showers this morning, strange, no fire alarm. I asked for a refund, first I was told I would get a refund, then the same employee said I couldn't and began explaining how banks work. I asked for her name, initially she gave me her first and middle name. I had to insist she provide me with her last name, which she did after attempting to avoid her identity. Lisa Marie McKinney she reported as her name. Night auditor she said. If that's true. After 40 minutes, while returning to our rooms, guests who I don't know were talking of smelling cigarette or marijuana smoke from one of the rooms. Hearsay, I didn't smell smoke, but whoever did I hope they come forward. Makes more sense than steam from a shower at 2am. No one would believe that. Needless to say, we got little rest and if I do not a refund I will pursue further options. Very unacceptable and inept. Disappointing for a Holiday Inn. Not many people are traveling these days, Holiday Inn can't afford to lose customers. I have already posted the pictures and description of the incident on numerous social media sights, if I am denied a refund again it will only get worse.

Wingate is a very nice and clean hotel. Staff is friendly and great location off the interstate.

Good customer service honest and friendly people they recommended a great restaurant named aubreys. Clean and comfortable.

The location was average, right off a highway with many hotels right next door. The La Quinta next door looks a lot more appealing than the a Wingate. The rooms were great, clean, and comfortable. The service was very good. The breakfast was subpar but still was hot and not the worst. Would likely recommend to friends if they asked. Would not bring it up as a hotel of my own choice. The BEST hotels are courtyards and Hilton's and there's one other nice one too. Good experience though:) ) )

Good clean hotel. Right off freeway. Good breakfast. Friendly.

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding. Room was clean and quiet. We had a king room and there was plenty of space. Breakfast was included and supplied many choices such as waffles, cereal, eggs, bagels, oatmeal and grits. Outdoor pool was nice to sitting around in the evening.

Everyone was very nice and professional. I would definitely stay there again.

1 star — Hotel itself was nicely decorated; staff was friendly/helpful. Unfortunately, our room was extremely dirty. It appeared that the bed had been made and bathroom cleaned, but there were fingerprints and crumbs on the end table and TV stand/dresser, and a certain unmentionable (bodily fluid) on a bedside lamp. I spoke up and received a 20% discount on the room (should have been much more). This was my first and last stay in a Wingate property.

Friendly staff, nice rooms. Clean, convenient close to the highway, food and shopping. Would stay again.

Stayed here in my vacation witg my mother, the room was super clean and nice. All the the hotel employees are very friendly and helpful with information about things to do in the area!

I almost always stay here on my trips to and from Florida. On Saturday, April 21, 2018 I was there when I went to my restroom about 10:00 am and went back to the bed there was 3 bed bugs on the sheets. I checked out at that time. I have been doing my laundry and cleaning out the car ever since. What a hassle. The staff was polite and offered to refund my money. Not enough if you ask me. Its the little things like leaving your shoes in the chest deep freezer for 80 plus hours or more.

Great place to stay. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Beds are soft. A great place to stay.

Booked our hotel online today. Arrived at our hotel at 10:36 pm and the doors were locked. We were beating on the door for almost an hour before I called the police department because no one answered the phone or came to help us. The officer arrived and we were able to enter a side door. He went behind the desk to find the staff sleeping with a pillow in the back. We called the 1-800 number to get our money back. Two hour drive to wait outside an hour and a half before we could get our money back to go elsewhere.

We were satisfied with the important things. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets and floors were clean. There were a couple small issues that could be improved. The deadbolt on the door didn't engage, the tub/shower was worn and dated. It was very cold the night we stayed and the heater wasn't able to keep the room cozy. Still not awful but could be improved. The breakfast was decent but not great. All in all we were satisfied with our visit and well rested for our days travel ahead.

Good value, but it's starting to look just a little but tired. The elevator has the sa. E cracked tiles when we visited three years ago. My room was impeccably clean but the shower curtain liner had a permanent stain that looked like an ink blot. The bed linens and pillows were comfy but the mattress was lumpy and creaked every time I turned over. Still, the staff couldn't be any nicer and the location was perfect for my visit.

After a long, hectic drive from St. Louis, it was a delight to pull into the Wyndham Hotel. The accommodations were clean and comfortable; the staff exceedingly courteous. The morning breakfast was "standard", nothing special. I slept like the dead, but whether that was a consequence of the comfortable beds or my exhaustion of the drive I don't know. Decent hotel.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building looks nice inside and out. My bed was very comfortable, as with most hotel bathroom space has a minor limitation but it is minor and easily dismissed. The rooms are clean and well kept with a good amount of space to move about. The breakfast for the most part was pretty good sadly the eggs didn't live up to expectations but it's better than nothing at all. All in all if I pass this way again I will not hesitate to stop here for another stay.

The lobby was spacious and clean, well-lit and tastefully decorated. The staff checking us in was friendly and helpful, even getting my wife fresh hot water for tea. The room was more spacious than average, with a sitting area beside the king bed. Breakfast was hot or cold and we chose bacon and eggs and waffles. Check out was automatic. USAToday was complementary. Our one night was very nice with NO nasty surprizes.

The hotel was very nice. We were there for a school trip. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean. The scrambled eggs were not the best but the biscuits and gravy were decent.

We were overall very happy with our stay here. The outstanding positive was how friendly and helpful the staff was. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, there was a good little refrigerator, the Wi-Fi worked great, and the breakfast was good. The only negative was that the A/C unit for our room needed service, something which I forgot to tell them before we left. It put out cold air just fine, but when the compressor cycled off, normal for the way the thermostat controls it, the unit put out very warm air. I believe that there was a faulty valve in the coolant line that allowed the "Freon" to flow backwards when the compressor shut off, thus resulting in condensation inside the evaporator coil and releasing heat. It made sleeping right next to it somewhat uncomfortable.

In all honesty this was a nice hotel stay. I was there for business and the room was perfect I was really pleased with the service and the kindness that was shown to me. One of the most important things for me was cleanliness and the whole hotel from when you walk in to when you get to your room was spotless.

Wingate hotels are usually nice and feel clean, this one does not. This hotel looks spent and feels dirty despite the attempt to mask the funk. Right next door is a brand spanking new (as of this writing) La Quinta, I recommend checking that place out instead. It might be time to start thinking about a refresh Wyndham, this hotel needs it.

They called to cancel or change our accessible reservation (made with an actual agent — not online) with very little notice. Unacceptable.

The woman at the front desk was outside smoking when we arrived and we had to wait for her to finish her cigarette and phone call before we were helped. The room was ok but not worth what we paid.

Staff was very friendly and rooms very clean. I even left a hat behind in my room and they called me to let me know I had left it.

Beds weren't great and my toilet was constantly refilling which was annoying.

Stayed 1 night while driving back home, room was clean hotel was clean overall. First thing I did was check for bed bugs I lifted up fitted sheet looked along mattress lifted mattress checked under and it was good no bed bugs I checked dresser also. That is most important thing to me. Other hotels off the exit I wouldn't trust them.

My husband and I went this past weekend for a much needed weekend away. We stayed on the third floor. Not only was the room very neat, clean and well stocked, but the entire staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. NO BODY made us feel we were an inconvenience. The front desk staff, housekeeping, the breakfast bar staff, everyone. Even a maintenance fellow I just happened to pass by gave me a warm welcome and a smile. I would definitely recommend this place to stay. We will likely re-visit based on this week-end's experience. Thank you for helping to make this a pleasant weekend.

Everything was very clean and nice. The breakfast was extra bad even for a hotel breakfast. But you can't have it all everything else was great.

The room I stayed had moldy smell when I first opened the door. I could vent out the moldy smell by opening the window and door, but the bathroom had even stronger moldy smell. The in-wall A/C has no auto fan control, and the fan either remain on for the whole night or the A/C should be completely turned off. It is dumb choice. The bathroom is very small, and the inswing bathroom door made the useful space even smaller. One good thing is that the room was quite. Adjacent room noise or freeway noise did not intrude my room. But it may be because my room was the opposite side of I-75. This hotel is just 200ft away from busy I-75 freeway.

Very clean hotel with comfty beds, and a very nice free breakfast. The only complaint would be is that the bathroom could have been a little larger.

I work for a power line construction company that stayed here on our way to Florida for hurricane storm work. They didn't have a problem letting us take over their parking lot with all our trucks. The service was fast checking in close to 60 to 100 guys. (Not sure how many guys where here) Very friendly staff. Rooms are very clean.
