We were traveling on motorcycles and needed to get a room before the storm arrived. Called about vacancies and Neil held a room for us and with his help we just made it in our room before the down pour hit. Maybe a little outdated but clean. Good location. Surprised when Neil was still there for breakfast and personally made our waffles. Thanks to him, we would definitely recommend and stay again if in the area.

First time at a HoJo and it was pretty good! The non smoking room actually had no lingering smoke smell like in so many other motels. The breakfast was basic continental, with fresh waffles made to order.

Just alright. Bed was comfortable. The place needs a remodel or just to be spruced up. Very outdated. TV is small and not great quality. But they do have a microwave and fridge.

Love the staff! Very friendly and accommodating. I am working out if town staying here and haven’t had any issues.

It was clean and pretty comfortable. After a bad motel experience the night before it was a breath of fresh air. The breakfast buffet closed early and we missed it. Parking felt safe. No complaints about rowdy guests or noise from the bar band. A very pleasant experience.

The room was clean, but that's about the best part. Our neighbors partied all night and started yelling very early in the morning. This is definitely not the fault of the establishment though to be fair, that kind of raucous should have been nipped in the bud by management. The air conditioner put off an awful smell. The toilet ran. The door was hard to unlock. Breakfast was terrible. But the bed was comfortable even though there were paw prints stained on the sheets.

DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY PICTURES! I would rate this a one star based on actual rooms. The door had a gap around it and weather could be seen and felt from inside. The surrounding neighborhood is dirty and unsafe. I would say it is a ZERO star because I came back to the room at midnight after I checked in at 4pm and when I returned there was someone else in the room! The hotel rented out our room to someone else.

We were extremely grateful for the hospitality of the Motel 6 just above the Howard Johnson. The receptionist was so accomodating and treated us very well. The rooms were clean and the rates were better too.

The place is clean, but old. Half the electric plugs don't work, the hair dryer started smoking when I turned it on, the worst part is the breakfast warden. He cooked for you but he was watching you. You are not allowed to take food to the room. I have 5 kids asleep in the room. Very unwelcoming experience.

I had a wonderful overnight stay at the HoJo in Cleveland Tennessee. I would definitely give the restaurant "Nawlins"a 5 star rating!

The clerk at the front desk was very rude and would not let me bring to to my family. He said it was a done in only like it was a resturaunt. Like dude come on its a freaking cheap hotel not a Ruthe Chris. I could just go across the street to waffle house and take food to my family but they wanted it from the hotel because it was included so I had to put up with this dude.

I stay here when I am in Cleveland, TN. They have great prices if you are on a budget, the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and they have a nice continental breakfast that comes with your stay. There is also a bar onsite, if you are in to that atmosphere, and their staff is friendly.

I come here once a year and it is always clean, good towels and lots of fast food places and sit down places too. They are polite.

It was horrible. There were police chasing people right outside our room. Police everywhere. That would be a good thing if not at 3 am in the morninng hear someone shouting FREEZE OR I WILL SHOOT… The room we had was supposed to have been a QUIET ROOM. I will not be staying there again. Too many complaints to name…

We syopped here to get a few hours sleep during a long drive. Room smelled like weed, they put our family of three next to two rowdy rooms. Music blasting in the parking lot late at night. We left and they gave us a full refund, but the only other place we could find was 30 minutes away and twice the cost. It was a rough evening.

Sort of an okay place for the price. Look for coupons in the interstate magazines (got price to $45 per night). Pets are $10 extra per pet and they do have smoking rooms. Housekeeping is okay but nothing to brag about. Their breakfast is fresh, the only hot items are oatmeal and waffles, and it only goes from 6-9. To bad I can't give 2 1/2 stars.

Rooms are just ok. Not very clean though and definitely Not Howard Johnson standards by a long shot! Bed was ok. There was empty cigarette packs and joint roaches behind the dresser! Was trying to carry 4 coffees from the lobby to the room and the guy at the front desk offered no help at all whatsoever! I ask if they had a tray of some kind and he said there was one in my room. Well that wasn't helping me there was it! He acted offended when I grabbed a paper plate to carry them on. What a douch!

A good place to stay when visiting Cleveland. The staff we interacted with we're friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable but I did miss my pillow. The room was near the back and was very quiet. It was clean except for the cups. They were in the plastic however there were specs of dirt or something around the rim. We could have easily gotten new from the desk however we used cups we brought. The breakfast was adequate and what I would expect. They have waffles which the person working in the morning makes for you. A nice touch since over filling the iron can be messy. Overall a good restful night at an inexpensive place. With good location for what we had planned.

Came in late to get a room, staff was super friendly and worked his best to get us a room. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy, the ac worked perfect. Microwave and fridge worked great, and Tv worked also. Overall experience was pleasant. I would recommend this place.

Great clean place with a friendly staff. Nice breakfast with waffles.

Room was large, clean and smelled nice (not like they were masking a smell). Price was good, service was excellent — they even made our waffles for us at breakfast! Would stay again and definitely recommend.

Staff was amazing. Breakfast was very good. Very easy to find. We stay in 2 beds right next to each other. The room was nice and clean. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near to the area without be right in the middle of everything.

It should be cleaned folders because they have bad odor.

I stayed a week while lookin at houses in the area and I loved it. The rooms were clean and the manager was very friendly and nice. He even offered to cook waffles for me in the morning in the breakfast area. They have a great Variety of breakfast foods and couldn't ask for friendlier people.

Didn't stay there had room booked for a weekend of fishing they told me they didn't have room for boat and didn't have anywhere I could plug up to charge battery's so canceled room and went elsewhere.

Took us 2 rooms to get a good one. Floor was not clean. Shower mat was not the greatest, it should have been replaced. Sheets and towels were all clean and in good order. Guy at front desk was excellent, very friendly. For the money it was ok. $69.00 on a Saturday Night.

My best friend and I stayed here in May for graduation, and the rooms were clean, bathroom could have used some minor cosmetic repairs, but overall the room was comfortable! The best part about the stay was the breakfast every morning — as I walked in the lobby, the breakfast employee was very friendly, showed me where everything was, and even made me heart-shaped waffles and brought it to my table! He was very helpful when I asked him for directions to the nearest CVS or Walgreens, he was knowledgeable about the area and very polite. The ONLY complaint I had was the noise and commotion from the bar, but I will probably be staying again, as the price outweighed all that commotion! Thanks for a gr8 stay.

Our stay here as a group ended as a no-complaint weekend. Our check-in was smooth and greatly appreciated. The rooms were a little musty and the beds are hard but the room was clean and the linens were fresh. The pool wasn't in operable conditions but it was cool having the bar at the hotel.

This place is a joke. Charge me an extra $20 and said we took a blanket from room. If they cant pay the bills I guess they will find a way. Did not give us a notice or anything. Then we called and no one can help but a manager that never comes to work. Ill never stay at a ho jo again what a joke. And the people at the bar will keep you up most the night anyway. Thay dont tell you that the bar is part of the motel.

It was an ok place for the price. The room was clean. My door had a gap at the bottom of it that you could see through. Therefore the air didnt work good so the room stayed hot. I was less than pleased with all of the noise from the bar too. I wouldnt recommend it with the choices that are around, but I would stay here again if I had too.
