My 2 daughters and I had an early flight scheduled out from Atlanta back to Houston, so one of my daughters booked here thinking because we use Microtel quite often when we fly into Rochester, New York it would be good. Without reading any reviews we checked in signs saying they were renovating the place and all. Get up to the room immediately started to shower for our early morning flight out. Once everyone was showered we pull the covers back to go to bed. Almost immediately I started to itching up by my ear on the left side. I'm scratching and I finally raise up because it was beginning to get uncontrollable itching. Out from nowhere there was the culprits. BEDBUGS… videoed them crawling and all. Yikes I told my daughter to go to that front desk and ask for a refund we was going somewhere else. She go to the front and the front desk clerk calls the manager who in turn tells my daughter that they would handle it in the morning and call an exterminator to come spray the next day. The desk clerk then gives my daughters keys to another room and say she would give her a discount on it. Whatttt. No you will not give me a discount on your infested hotel. Me and my other daughter go down to the desk with Bedbugs crawling on the pillow and the front desk clerk gets smart with us. Now I have an unnecessary doctor bill that was accumulated by their pests. This is not the last that they will hear from me. Run Run Run.

When I signed in the skinny receptionist didn't say nothing, no welcome to Microtel, good afternoon etc. She stood there with an attitude like she didn't want to be there. It was a sign up saying please excuse the renovation, which I didn't witness to any. I got my key still nothing so I told her have a better day. Went to the room and it was cleaned, the chair to the desk was broken, the bathroom was half clean. The tub had a dirty ring around it and hair was in there. The blow dryer had lint, dirt, and hair in it. You can hear everything that the next room was during, talking about, even when they were walking around. If you need a cheap place just to lay your head then this is the place… If you're going to be here more than a day please go further… I think this place is for show for something illegal going on. It was way to much in and out, noise, heavy men and differently women traffic going and coming. They were knocking on your door… You can not get a Good night sleep here This place is differently not on my come back hotel list.

You're looking for a nice hotel with a cozy room before you take off? Then don't book here! This is the worst of the worst. It's the mother of dumps. It's alpha dirty, with stains all over the wall, holes in chairs and pillows, stains on the sheets and I could go on and on. I am so glad I have no trouble with my balance because that toilet seat was not really attached to the rest of the commode. If you have buddies at the crisis or desease center, treat them well. Maybe they will borrow you a decontamination shower for the day after. OR just don't sleep here. It's close to the airport. Bit other hotels too.

Just a place to lay down and rest but nothing else nice and pleasing about the stay. The shuttle was called to pick us up at the airport to return to the hotel for our car. We finally asked someone else to take us and found the shuttle bus just sitting in front of the hotel. We were shocked that the driver had not even left to come to pick us up yet. Might not stay here again when there are so many others options.

I would say it's pretty good actually compared to the name brand (Microtel) suggests. They are still going through renovation but, you can tell they are getting more professional and updated. Its affordable and good quality. If you are looking for just 1 or couple nights to stay somewhere for cheap this definitely would be a good place to put your money on.

Not impressed at all by this hotel. It appears to be a jump off hotel, smell of marijuana in the halls of the 3rd floor. The hotel is currently being renovated, out-dated is an understatement. Front desk staff is nice, I will not make the mistake of staying at any Microtel again.

Hotel was being renovated during my stay. My room was done, but there was a smell of paint. Also paint drops on the carpet. Lady at check in was very nice. Don't know the neighborhood but it didn't feel safe there at night.

Atrocious customer service! DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION! You are warned. I reserved a room on Microtel's website with a credit card. When I arrived at 2am they said sorry, but they overbooked the rooms and gave mine away. My confirmation number meant nothing. PLUS they offered ZERO assistance in getting me a room at another location despite my pleading for help! Consequently I was forced to drive straight through to Florida arriving at 11am the next day. While I wasn't charged for the room there was no empathy. No nothing, but a superficial and meaning less apology…

DO NOT STAY HERE! The entire place is disgusting. The whole building smelled Iike smoke. Towels and sheets in the rooms were dirty. Very noisy and impossible to sleep. Needless to say… I immediately turned around and went elsewhere. Reserved 2 nights and only stayed 20 minutes and they wouldn't refund me. Terrible. This place needs to be shut down. Trashy trashy trashy.

This place is not all what I expected for a Wyndham hotel. It's run down old and needs a revamp. The sheets and pillowcases had a yellow tinge color is certain places. The room is tiny and half the items in the room are broken. I definitely will NOT be staying here again. I was so disappointed and did not sleep very well.

My family and I stayed here on vacation, and had a very pleasant experience we along with other guests would spend the day out and about and only really used the room to sleep and shower. Close to anything you need. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Rooms are awful. Bed is uncomfortable. No ventilation through out the hotel. Smells of paint and pot. Faucets were loose. Bedding and towels were old. Carpets and walls were dirty and could not tell if they were being replaced or the replacements while under remodle. About 2 of the day staff were nice. Housekeeping and night staff were rude. Pay a little extra and stay elsewhere.

My experience here was great for my first time ever staying at a Microtel… I stayed two nights left for one night and returned for two more nights… Susie was the best front desk reservations that I have run into in a long time… She should definitely be a manager… On a bad note housekeeping needs to learn to knock before putting a key in the door and opening the door and then knocking… That was definitely unexceptable! I wrote the first park of my review the night before my check out and once again housekeeping came knocking on my door as I getting my things together to leave before time for me to check out to ask if I was checking out! I don't know about anyone else but that time is for making sure that you have everything packed so that you don't leave any of your items at the hotel… Housekeeping is given a list of checkouts in the morning and it is revised when someone stays over so please instruct your housekeeping to stop disrupting your guests!

Took forever to check in. After 12 hours of driving, I just wanted to get a room. Room was subpar. Dirty bathroom and stains on the curtains. Soft spots under the carpet. Didn't feel safe as the room was on the second floor. Half the channels on the list didn't even work. Minimal TV to watch. If I wasn't so beat from the road and it wasn't so late, I would've moved on to the next.

This was the worst hotel that I’ve ever step foot in. The staff was rude on night shift as well as over the phone on morning shift. Me and my family checked in to a room that had dirty sheets and pillowcases, floors not swept, trash still in trash can from previous guest. Called down stairs and was told to come down to get keys for another room. It was just as bad so I went back to front desk and asked for clean sheets and pillowcases. The rude lady at front desk gave me 2 flat sheets no fitted and 2 pillowcases and stated that there was no more clean linen. I finally just asked for my money back and went to another hotel. Called the next morning to talk to a manager but kept getting hung up on and passed around. They still charged my card with no refund. I can not give this hotel any stars at all. The parking lot was cleaner than the hotel.

My flight was cancelled for the night so I was stuck in Georgia. I called around and found this hotel had rooms available. After paying a taxi driver $15 to take me 4.7 miles from the airport to this location the desk clerk told me there were only two smoking rooms available. Some maintenance man that was around the desk clerk told me I should have asked what "type" of rooms were available. I told them both where I was from (Greenville/Raleigh NC) the Microtel does not have smoking in the building so I assumed this one did not either. My fault for assuming. Anyway, the maintenance clerk (being that he was doing more talking than the actual clerk) told me I should check the room out before I decline staying there for the night so I did just that. I used the elevator to go up to the third floor but for whatever reason it would not go up. So another person that was staying there hopped on the elevator and it took him to the second floor but still would not go up to the third floor. I took the stairs from the second floor to the third. When I entered the third floor all I could smell was weed. When I went into the room it looked okay but when I went in the bathroom there was piss all around the toilet and the bathtub had dirt in it. I tried to the elevator again and still it would not work so I took the stairs from the third floor. On my way down the stairs close to the first floor there was a trail of blood on the stairs and a filthy mattress leaned up against the wall.

Very Awesome Customer Service. Clean rooms. Highly satisfied overall stay.

Visit was ok. Front desk Staff was nice. Housekeeping staff didn't like her job. They are remodeling so amenities weren't so great. But for the price it was good.

Room was just what we expected for the price. It was clean and needs some up dating. The shuttle going to the air port was good. We were going international and it was an early flight so the driver brought us there. But returning was a different issue. I called the hotel after along customs delay of about 1 and a half hours. Just figuring they my be able to get us at international if they were not busy. I was told to go to domestic and call when we arrived there. I called at 7:15 pm at 7:55 still no shuttle. Tired and cold from being out side. We notice other hotels that offer the same service came and went several times. We asked another hotel shuttle if it was possible to drop us off. Guess what the next time we use park sleep and fly. Best bet it will be at the other hotel.

Friendly staff. Facilities is being remodeled and is under construction. Shuttle van is very new and driver was extremely helpful! Very inexpensive for overnight.

Okay, it is cheap. The place is dated. The rooms are adequate. Our phone didn't work. It would ring, but you couldn't answer it, it just kept ringing. The electrical outlets are few and not in great places. We were on the first floor, but not in a handicapped room as requested. You can hear planes fly over and at the front desk there is a lot of chatter all the time — we were two doors from the front desk, so we could hear the chatter. The toilet in the room never stopped running. The staff are friendly and helpful. Did I mention it is cheap?

Only because I had to give it one star. How can the Wyndham even associate their good name with this place? By far the dirtiest, nastiest & most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. Screw the rate. Just spend an extra $20, You'll get a better nights rest across the street.

Haven't even completed check in & I'm regretting this property. Waited at airport from 10:45 11:50 for airport shuttle until another driver came and dropped me at property. Pull up and shuttle is sitting in parking lot. With a sign at front desk saying a. M. Shuttle service end at 1040 a. M. I'm beyond sick… The front desk was argumentive… Threatened to cancel my reservation for questioning & complaining about the services. Then tried charging me $25 for early check in… It's noon… Rooms available and I'm waiting in their crudely furnished lobby, listening to front desk staff in partial English complain about complaining guest… waiting to check in to a hotel I regret reserving… THINK BEFORE BOOKING if customer service is important to you…

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE, dirty upon entrance. The hallway to the rooms are filthy! The bathroom shower has mold, where I had to go buy tilex to spray entire shower. As I looked at the toilet mold spores on the outside running down the entire side. Completely NASTY! Nasty nasty. I say bleach the entire place.

Over Priced for the location but maybe they have to do that to keep out the dealers & prostitutes. The walls are very thin. Around 9pm I could hear a couple next door to me having sex and this was with my TV on! From natural sex sounds to the male & female being vocally dramatic. Very annoying. The hotel lobby had a stench & there was a weed smell throughout the floors. The room itself smelled ok. I engaged with several staff members and only the receptionist that checked me out was friendly. The receptionist that checked me in didn't even say good evening nor did the security person she was speaking to when I walked up to the desk. Later I tried asking housekeeping a question and the female acted as if she could not speak English. After speaking with the receptionist at checkout I was told that the housekeeper does speak English. Apparently she was just playing dumb so that she did not have to answer me (How convenient)! The positive is that the room & sheets were clean. Nor did I see any bugs. I would have given it 3 stars if the entire staff was more customer service friendly. That includes housekeeping.

Worst hotel. My first room had a wasp in it, the air barely worked, bugs in the room, whole floor smelled like weed. Second room there was ants in the fridge, and the bathroom light didn't work. The walls are covered in scratchers, holes, and dirt. I could not even stay an hour. I got my refund and left. Will never go back. I was highly unsatisfied especially since the Microtel in Cartersville is amazing, it gave me higher expectations.

Great location! Everything else is average. Clean rooms. Water pressure is good. Linens are clean, I did see a silver fish crawling in the bathroom! Does not stink, but does not smell fresh either! Customer service is OK depending on who you get. There is SS laundry, an atm, and a vending machine. Also continental breakfast. For park and fly, this is great, but I wouldn't want to stay for more than overnight.

By Atlanta standards this is a very inexpensive hotel. The rooms are small but since this is an airport hotel my thought is that most people aren't looking for a ton of amenities just a place to sleep before or after a plane ride. Could be a little cleaner but it isn't dirty. Shuttle is very convenient, the staff is pleasant and helpful. A Ruby Tuesday's is within a short walking distance & there is also order in. Small fridge, microwave in the room also iron & ironing board. I have not taken advantage of the breakfast offered as my flights are always at 6 am but they do offer breakfast.

The breakfast stops at 9AM everyday, it's not listed anywhere in the room when it starts or when it ends. Staff is lovely, shuttle was nice. Fire alarm went off at 3am.

The room I booked was taken so they had to put me in a smoking room. The room was dank and musty. Breakfast sucked nothing to eat, no milk for cereal, no bread ect.

Outstanding. Clean. Jam, the "Angel" behind the counter at the Montgomery, Alabama location was the best! Such a wonderful person! Great assest to the company! Thank you again!

The room is ok. The TV remote didn't work great. It was fun to have 2 bathrooms & 2 TVs.

Loud water pipes running off and on all night and a very loud rattling heat/air system made for a terrible nights sleep. Then when I went to get my continetal breakfast they were letting a kid keep making waffles then throwing them away so I could not get over to make me one.

Good. Not really good but best one for low price. If you have a car it will be best for tourist students.

This place may not be the best, but if it would not be for some kindness of the desk clerk Theresa, I think I would have a nervous breakdown. We got into an accident with the rental car unfortunately trying to find the Inn, because the signs are not lit at night and there is no sign on the bld. We we're here and didn't know it. So we got lost on highway, well to make a long story short I got a sitation for improper Lane change, when we got side swiped. By a tracker trailer on the driver's side From the side rear of wheel well to the out popped the front light. Tire marks on hole side of drivers side From the speeding tracker trailer. Budget kept 482. Dollars from our card. So we couldn't rent another. I only took out ins. For another car and forgot (from being overwhelmed by the trip. ). A very kind man who takes care of the cars before they can be used. He brought us to the microtel. Where Theresa was very compassionate for us (by this time I am in tears. ) Cause this is supposed to be our honeymoon after 2 and a 1/2 yrs of marriage. Thanks to Dad who gave us money for food, we have to use it for rides by uber, (they are awesome and affordable) we went to the Aquarium on Sunday, I could not push my husband in wheel chair anymore cause I was experiencing alot of pain. So the medic at the Atlanta Aquarium got us a ride to Hosp. We paid with money that Dad gave us for food. When we got back to the microtel, the next morning, we missed the free breakfast.

Not worth the price. Poor room, too small, dirty. TV did not work. Most wall outlets did not work. Borrows shuttle service from other hotels. Bathroom dirty. Had to unplug microwave to find an outlet to plug in computer. In short, I won't be back. 1 out of 10. Clerk at the desk was okay and tried to offer help, but entire hotel is run down and needs over-haul.

Why didn't I read these reviews before I booked this hotel?!?!?! The walls are damaged, the carpets are filthy and I am seriously contemplating sleeping standing up. There are burn holes on the seat cushions, stains on the floor and even Stai s on the lamp shade. I am terrified of the germs. You have been warned. Again!

Have you ever been in a hotel so bad that you have horror stories to tell all of your friends and families for years to come? This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had — and I have stayed in hotels where I'm pretty sure people were murdered. Weed smoke instantly gives you a contact high to help soften the blow of the dirty, disgusting rooms. Please stay away from this Microtel. You have been warned.

Disgusting! I have never seen anything so gross. We checked in late with aa couple half dressed "ladies" in heels lounging on the couch and another guest arguing with the front desk staff about her clogged toilet. Everything was sticky and you could see the dirt on just about everything. After we got off of the elevator we were greeted by a garbage can with vomit dried on the outside and a white laundry basket of garbage… On top of the weed smell that overpowered everything. The rooms were old and dirty, and other than the front desk staff I'm not sure if anyone else worked there. Nasty.

The picture on the website is not right. There was no cable remote for the TV. The door to the hall had a gap in it but thankfully did lock. Someone left clothes under the bed (no I did not touch it! ) The furniture was all broken and there was no mini fridge or microwave as posted. They forgot the wake up call. No trash bags in the room. Smelled like something now legal in some states and lots of pizza delivery. Go figure. The receptionist was very nice but the hotel needs a complete reno. I don't normally post reviews but this is complete false advertising. Shame on Wyndham.

Worst experience I've had at a hotel by far. I travel for work and have been to at least 20 different states in the us and I have never had such horrible feed back! I was harrassed repeatedly by a staff member named Nicole and also had false accusations made about me. The hotel reeked of smoke throughout and the comforters had burn holes as well as the carpets! I understand if you're trying to save money but in this case YOU GET WHAT YOU DONT PAY FOR! There have been several complaints made about this staff member and yet nothing has been done about it! I wouldn't recommend the devil himself to stay here! DO NOT DO IT EVER! Even this girls co-workers dislike her lol pls take my advice.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! ZERO STARS! This hotel is gross. The carpet was ripped up in the hallways and room, and the whole floor smelled like weed smoke (on my floor). The elevator has scratched graffiti in it. The room was obviously was not attended too. There were stains on the carpet, bedding, and the little sofa near the window. I had a double bed (2 beds) room, and in one of the beds was a bee under the sheets, gross! There was no shampoo, and no extra roll of toilet paper. Housekeeping obviously lacks at this hotel. I slept with my regular clothes on and used my own blanket to lay on the bed. This was nasty and I'm demanding a refund! DO NOT BOOK! PROS: — Near airport (rather sleep AT airport) CONS: — No shampoo — Dirty Rooms/Hotel — Dirty Bed (See bee pictures in bed).

The pictures are completely misleading. This hotel is an absolute dump. If I wasn't in a pinch I would have picked my things up and left as soon as I saw the room. It's dark dingy dirty and stains visible on the mattress. And it looks like people are living here. They were barefoot children running around the corridors yelling at all hours of the night. I would highly recommend finding a different place to stay.

I don't even know if I would give it a star. I guess it would have to have something right because I did manage to sleep there so that is a plus. However, I did not shower because the bathroom and especially the tub was nasty. I even tried running ultra hot water to rinse the tub but it was pointless. Next was the bed. It was comfortable, not as comfortable as my bed in San Antonio but still comfy. That is where this ends because I started to pull back the sheets and they were stained and a little smelly. I ended up sleeping on the top of the bed. I can't believe that I spent a whole entire week in San Antonio at the Fairfield Inn and could not ask for better and then on my way home I was stranded by the snowstorm of 2015 and when Delta Airlines hooked me up with this hotel I figured it was good to go. I was tight on cash and needed an economic way to spend the night in Atlanta before I continued on north to my destination. Let's just say you get what you pay for and I thought at almost 80 a night I was doing well, I did only pay 85 in San Antonio so I figured it should be close to that standard. THINK AGAIN! Not even in the same country. I am very sorry I stayed here and will not recommend it to any traveler in the future. Please stay away and spend the extra 20 for some piece of mind and a good night sleep. Greg (stayed night of 27 Jan 15).

Abandon hope, all ye who enter here! I had to stay here for a few weeks on work, and had to change rooms three times, the second time was because the ceiling was leaking. The online pictures are all fake! The whole hotel smells like smoke, and the " continental breakfast" consists of stale muffins and a single waffle maker that sticks badly. Take my advice and save your money.

OMG! Where do I start! Please run away FAST! This is a disgusting place to stay! It reeks smoke through the entire building, the rooms a very dirty. I spotted food under the bed and dirt in the tub! Everything is broken in the room, the electricity doesn't work and the the power goes out every five minutes! The staff is so unprofessional and the manager screams at the top of her lungs up and down the hallway at her staff! When you talk her she rolls her eyes and don't give any eye contact. Just unprofessional! The pictures online are FALSE! The carpet is horrible and the rooms are very worn! The second and third floor is horrible! It looks like ghetto housing projects! My family and I are transitioning from California and waiting to move into our house and we thought we choose a nice hotel for a reasonable price and we were wrong and guess what you can't get your money back and we paid for a full week! The worst experience ever! Run.

It was survivable. Pretty shabby. Needs a lot of TLC. Needs paint, and structural repairs. I tried to call to get directions from hotel staff several times to no avail. Finally figured it out on my own. They need to stop advertising free continental breakfast. That is false advertising at best. They serve from 6-9a. I went down at 8a. There was very little there but cereal. I asked a regular patron that was in the dining area did I miss it. He said this is pretty much what they have normally.
