The only positive thing I have to say is, the hotel is in a great location and the microwaves were new. Now the bad. It took forever to check in. First thing I saw was dead roaches all over. It was clear that nothing was actually cleaned just wiped off. Behind the dressers had black gunk and grime. The showers were disgusting. We were afraid to walk bare foot or sleep on the bed. All of the towels were still dirty. No soap. Doors barely closed. Probably swept up 5 grams of marijuana from the corners and under the bed. Still waiting on my 50 dollar refund (it's been 4 days). If I was down to my last dollar I'd save it and sleep In the car before I stay here again.

I would not waste my money going here. The room was clean but very small and we couldn't get extra towels or pillows from the front desk or housekeeping. The morning we left they were pressure washing right outside our door at 8am. It was really loud and we couldn't hear each other without screaming because of the noise. I understand that things like that need to be done but at 8am? I was on vacation and thats not what time I wanted to be awake.

They get one star just because it has a door and a roof. The lady on the day shift who is the manager is rude, my shower curtain had mildew on it and when I asked for another one they couldn’t find any. In order to get clean towels and sheets you have to turn the old ones in and wait for them to get laundered. They kitchen has no pot/ pans or eating utensils, not even a cup. There are also renovations going on so all you hear is banging at 8 in the morning. This hotel was booked through Hotwire and I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. And to top it off, the hotels weekly rate was about $100 cheaper than what I paid in Hotwire. I feel I was bamboozled by Hotwire and If I had know, I wouldn’t have booked it. Do not trust Hotwire.

I was visiting Atlanta for a overnight stay and the room was small, but the Wi-Fi was amazing and had good A. C.

Hotel is clean. But, the queen beds are really small. Don't book queen bed if you are more than 2. No coffee in the hotel premises. This place is just good if you want to spend the night and out right in the morning. Nothing more can be expected. The kitchen is good but the refrigerator does not have a ice maker.

If I could rate this place a (-1) I would. I arrived at the motel around 6pm. The room wasn't ready. The front desk person nonchalantly told me illI just have to wait which took an hour. I was tired and frudtfrust. Get to the room fiballf and the first thing I noticed was a roach crawling up the wall SMH… I just decide to try and get through the night. Try to watch TV and there's no remote. I go to the front desk and tell them and they brush me off. I would never dtasat this dump again.

Forced to wait forever to check in and room lacked toilet paper. Could be cleaner and have better clientele, but the price is very low for Atlanta extended stays…

Some rooms better than others not all tv's swivel out which is kinda weird and hot water iffy. Rooms are nice size and overall not bad.

Booked through Hotwire and was told by the receptionist (Monica Taylor) on arrival (around 12 pm) that early check-in was not possible and there was limited availability even after 3 pm. The receptionist talked to her manager and confirmed that there will in fact be availability and I should wait until check-in time of 3 pm to come back. When I arrived back around 3 pm, I was told that there was now no availability. Furthermore, the receptionist was dishonest and stated that she had never promised me availability even though she had, and that was the only reason why I waited for nearly 3 hours instead of booking another hotel. Poor job at managing the client and being dishonest in one's affairs. Will never book the hotel again!

They are very unprofessional staff there. Rooms are okay. Great location everything is in walking distance walmart mcdonalds etc. Marta stop convenient.

Hotel was overbooked and would not give me a room. Staff seemed like they could care less. You'd think you'd get refunded but I guess not. I've been in tons of hotels and this ranks as the worst experience I've had. STAY AWAY during events.

The lady at the front desk was really nice and helpful. The room or rooms were a total disgrace, the first one I saw had two twin beds with no blankets or pillows, the toilet was clogged and overflowing (I ask for one with two double beds. The second room, we couldn't even open the door. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Some of the other reviews complain about the frequency of housekeeping, etc. This is an extended stay hotel where many stay for months at a time. Housekeeping visits weekly as having someone disturb you daily would obviously be a nuisance. Rooms have been remodeled with laminate wood floors which is great for people like myself who are grossed out by hotel carpets. Most rooms have full sized refrigerators, two burner stove top, small sink and cabinets, dresser, table with two chairs, wall mounted flat screen t. V. And closet space. The bathrooms feature sink with shelved vanity, toilet and large shower (no tub). The staff has always been friendly and accommodating, long term guests are quiet, and staff quickly removes any trouble makers so anyone complaining about their safety while here is likely racially profiling. Maintenance routinely checks the condition of rooms and does timely repairs. They also keep watch after hours along with the Chamblee PD which patrols the area regularly. I've never felt unsafe, even leaving for/ returning from work late nights and early mornings. If you're looking for a five star hotel with round the clock service, keep looking. If you want a safe, clean and quiet environment as you settle into town from out of state or transition into homeownership… this is the perfect place!

The staff was horrible, our key didn’t work when we tried to return at night and it took calling ten times before someone was able to come and help us. They also could not fix the keys so ended up using a crow bar to pry the door open. We were stuck outside in the cold for a total of two hours before being let back in and when I tried to complain to the manager the next morning all I got was a “she’s not available right now but heres her number” Ended up calling well over twenty times and was never able to speak to said manager. I wish I could give this place negative five stars. Please do not ever go here.

The over night attendant and the courtesy officer me and my fiancee encountered were rude, tactless, and unprofessional. The courtesy officer made it clear that the closing time listed was just "on the door" and whatever time he said they close… they close. It was a very ignorant and uncomfortable interaction to have at a place you pay to stay at. Also, the facilities could use some work (loose screws in shower and heavy bleach smell upon entry). However, the manager was at least helpful, but there seemed to be many angry customers during checkout and throughout the regular day.

This place has had resent remodeling and looks good. Now if they can teach staff customer service would be great! I simply ask for a receipt and was told that because I booked through online agent I can't get a receipt. So I'm waiting for the bogus charges on my card with no receipt to prove anything, but I did get several pictures at checkout.

I reserved a room last minute during a snow storm here in Atlanta, with no issues. When I arrived all my paper work & room key was ready when I arrived. The manager has excellent customer service skills & remember's her customer. The rooms are updated & clean.

Nice and friendly front desk staff. Room is fine. Good location.

Nice, spacious, clean rooms. Free parking. Clean and spacious bathrooms. Adequate storage (closets, cabinets, dressers etc. ). Nice kitchenette in the double bed suite. This place would be perfect, but while staying here I constantly doubted my safety. The crowd this place attracts is questionable, and I definitely would not recommend this hotel for families. Although it is a good bang for your buck, it doesn't seem very safe. Would be nice if they filtered guests and offered security.

This place has roaches and they don't clean. They checked me into a vacant dirty room when it was reported it as vacant ready yeah there was trash on the floor the toilet was used and never flushed hair in the sink and the beds were disgusting. They never dust off the mattress so there's debris on it. We reserve the non-smoking Queen room they gave us a smoking king room and The front desk receptionist was a skinny younger black woman and very very rude we complained about the first room she gave us and she had a face like she did not give two rats you know what about what we have experienced. She did however gave us a different room but still had roaches. We cannot get our money back because that's just the way they are. Gold digging scum Lords. I will not stay here ever again check me out on Facebook to see the pictures.

This hotel is giving away people's rooms that are already paid for in advance. Because of the hurricane, people are offering more money for rooms so they are giving people's rooms away that haven't checked in yet! Reporting this place to the media and the government for what they are doing! People like the ones running and who own this place have NO SHAME! It's all about money! Screw the people in need is their modo!

At face value the room as decent, looked like it might have been remodeled recently, with small kitchenette, closet, etc. After realizing the room wasn't fully stocked to accommodate 3 people, requesting for additional items felt like pulling teeth from staff. Morning staff (wasn't wearing her name tag) was very rude and unhelpful, condescended to us asking questions; and within several minutes of this, a manager came from around back and just gave us what we needed quick enough. I am convinced there's only one staff person working at any given time. Didn't see any housekeeping staff (no housekeeping services over three days of stay). No fresh towels (weren't given enough to start with), ran out of toilet paper and had to use napkins. No hand towels. Several roaches killed over a couple of nights. Shower couldn't keep temperature, had to take cold showers. Our room key stopped working the night before we had to leave, after getting back around midnight; the office closes at 11PM, so we had to call the night officer to let us in the room. They responded quickly, but didn't check for ID to make sure we were who we said we are. The place has a lot of potential: close to the Chamblee MARTA station, area seems decent, close to several food options. But the staff and maintenance of the building needs a lot of work. Will not be staying here again, and will be calling the corporate offices to let them know the state of things here.

The room is fine, well maintained. Organized rather oddly with the head of the bed by the window, which has a light coming in from the outside making it difficult to sleep. The staff is ridiculously unhelpful. Booked a room for 3 people, we were given only 2 bath towels, and when I called to get more I was told it would be an hour and a half before they were dry. Called back after waiting 2 hours, they still weren't ready, it would be about 10 more minutes and I would have to come pick them up. Fine. When I got to the office 15 minutes later they still weren't done. Only allowed 2 pillows per bed, even though there were 3 of us, told management doesn't allow them to give out extras. Staff seems to consist of only 2 people at any given time, maybe contributing to dine of these situations. Decent stay for the price paid, but don't expect anyone to help you be more comfortable during your stay. Every request made was denied or made way more difficult than necessary. I will not be staying here again in the future.

Roach infested. (Pics & video will be added soon). Has since been bought, but a 2 month turnaround? I'm not sure they shut down at all. So how can you fix an infestation of that magnitude overnight? The refrigerator had buck shots that they tried to paint over. The carpet is stained so badly that you have to wear shoes at all times. The TV was old. We didn't want to eat or shower there. We booked a multi-night stay, but left with full refund. I'll post pics and video to trip advisor and Google+.

I would sleep in my car before I ever stayed here again. I got back into Atlanta after a 14 hour drive, and arrived around 9:00 pm. The assistant behind the counter who checked me in took forever! When I commented on that fact, because he apparently charged me the "wrong price" and had to run my card twice, he said, " If you don't want to stay here, go somewhere else! " If I had not been exhausted after my drive, I certainly would have left. The Wifi does not work. The water never gets hot in the shower. The room was full of roaches, and there were multiple drug transactions taking place right outside of my door, which was on the ground floor. I've been doing a search trying to find their corporate office, because I want to send an email. I plan to take this further, this place needs to be closed down, it is unsanitary, and basically a flea bag hotel. I'm sure the owners excuse is — it's cheap, and you get what you pay for, but that's just it — people are PAYING to stay here. Pay a little more and book somewhere else — help put this place out of business.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. Yes I understand you pay for what you get but do I honestly have to deal with BED BUGS, ROACHES, RUDE EMPLOYMENT, STRAY SICK CATS, EMPLOYEES who don't even know how to take a payment. I have been here for 1month and have paid 3 different prices. I was automatically assigned to a handicap room but I'm not handicap, I don't have a bath tub just a shower and my window is bolted so no escape route, that's a fire hazard am I right? The management is the worst and I understand people need a place to live while transitioning but save your money guys because this is not the place! Does not even deserve a star!

I didn't even want to rate this place with a star at all because of how disgusting this place was my first time booking a hotel and bad experience, the smell of this place I could not sleep well I booked it for a week cause I came on business and I had my son and father with me. They didn't clean the room the way they should of they had roaches and u could of seen the bed had bed bugs too. When we got into the room the first night they came to clean the next night and we said we had just came that night the room should of been clean before giving it to us. So we had to stay in the nasty room for the week cause we couldn't get our money back. And the time when we had to leave they kick us out early before the time when the guy we told that we was leaving to get our flight in the afternoon they didn't care if we stay we had to pay them a late fee of $25, we ask them for toilet paper they said they don't have to give us, we had to buy our own stuff. We can't open the door to sit outside for fresh air they told us we had to be inside like we was locked away in a cage. The manger looks rude and her employees too. They have people that living in the rooms the kids be outside playing but yet we can't sit by the door or open the door for fresh air to come in. The carpet is nasty they need news carpet down don't ever walk with out something on your feet. We had to buy sheets to sleep on and we took the comforters that had holds in it from people outing they cigarettes on the sheet.

Have been here for 3 weeks and so far my day has been very pleasant. It's quiet it's clean for the most part and it's very convenient to my job and to shopping in the area. The rates are fairly reasonable including the amenities.

Well well let's start off with the smell. My room smelled like straight bleach. I thought let's give it one night see how it goes. My girlfriend and I woke up with bite marks all over our arms and faces from BED BUGS. At that point I was disgusted. Went in the bathroom and roaches were crawling all over the walls. Thank god we only brought in an outfit and left everything else in the car. We were planning on staying 3 weeks but we'd thought to give it a night before we moved in our stuff. As soon as I got out of the bathroom I went right to the front desk and changed the room. The first room the changed me too smelled like dirty clothes and bleach and the room wasn't even prepared. The t. V was half way across the room and the bed was half made up. So she said she'll call me at 12. I went out, and came back and she put me in a room directly on top of the office. Way better. No bed bugs and no roaches. The room didn't smell like bleach and mold infestation. Only stayed a week and changed my hotel ASAP. It's a run down place and people live permanently in some of the rooms. I wouldn't recommend this place AT ALL.

My husband and I recently had an emergency situation and called the Suburban for a room. Not only were they able to book us a room, the manager, Mr. Jacorey treated us with the utmost respect and compassion. We recommend their hotel to all. Thank you mr. Jacorey!

I needed to find somewhere to stay last minute and came across this location. I don't recall the Gentleman's name that assisted me but he was AA and he was very pleasant to speak with got me in the room at a great rate. I got lost going there right before it was time to close the office but since I had paid already he assured me he wasn't going anywhere till I got there, he gave me directions and I found my way there once I was there he made sure I found my room noe that's customer service going above and beyond! He even waited on me to see if I liked it and I did the only complaint I'd have to say is that the trash was full and smelled bad but other than that I didn't have any problems my room was cleaned and the bed was ultra comfortable.

The room stank like mold or mildew and the TV was an old crt TV so no HD. Small bed. I checked out within minutes of getting there.

The website I used to make reservations did not say the lobby had limited hours. The lobby had closed a 11PM and I couldn't find anyone to give me keys to my reserved room. I called the 1-800 number and was told someone would be there or call me within 15 minutes. I called again 20 minutes later and was asked to wait another 15 minutes for the call or a person to show up. After 45 minutes, I just left and found a competitor's hotel that had a staff on shift. The whole time I was waiting, several patrons were watching the police searching for and handcuffing a guy, and then was questioning him outside. Since, I didn't get into the lobby or the room, I cannot say what condition they were in. I'm inclined to stay away from this particular hotel in the future.
