Dirty, smelly, and the staff was terrible. Get out while you can. Only stayed a half hour, once I realized the room wasn’t cleaned before we got there and the shower didn’t work we left for a better hotel. Wouldn’t refund me because of the half hour. Absolutely horrible experience.

Door didn't lock at all and man walked into my room after we just got done dressing, air-conditioner falls off wall and is not bolted, broken faucet in tub running hot water for 2 days, one bed was broken underneath and food on walls and smelled awful. Got video,

Disgusting, not clean, rude staff, outside doors don’t lock. Horrible experience. Never again. We searched for the Comfort Inn and the GPS brought us here. This place needs to be deleted from the Choice Hotels site.

Not even deserving of one star. Worst customer service I've ever had. Stood at the check in counter for 5 minutes to get checked in, a bald guy named Dave stood and watched sports on his phone didn't even acknowledge us. When he finally decided to see why we were at the check in counter he seemed irritated that we interrupted his sports game… even copped an attitude with me. I will never stay at a Rodeway in nor recommend anyone to them either. Horrible! These are the types of people that complain about being underpaid lol. Machines have taken over some of your duties… you're on borrowed time buddy, better find a new career.

This place is the worst place that we have experienced so far in our lifetime in term of customer service and condition of a place itself. The person who works there who name “Dave” by far is the most unprofessional and rude person. You will realize why this monster “Dave” is the “Worst human being” that you will have to encounter. Please avoid this place and their worker whose name is “David” at all cost. Our first and will be the last mistake to choose this place. We made our reservation for two nights/days for our plan to be in Tampa, FL. Unfortunately, the road trip from our state to Tampa took us longer than expected due to technical issue with our car and traffic. We ended up on the road more than 38 hours and barely had a few hours of sleeping for the last 48 hours. So, We ended arriving in Tampa on Sunday, rather than Saturday and trying to check in our last reservation on Sunday night for remaining one night. The fact that we already paid for two nights for this place, we would think we can stay for a couple hours on Sunday night before checking by Monday morning. Evil David said, we can’t check in due to our reservation was made to be checked in by Saturday not Sunday. He told us that he has plenty of Rooms available that night but we have to pay for it again full price and the rate is ridiculously high. He told a lie that the two nights we paid for it, it’s not for his hotel, it’s for online company that we used.

Checked in @ 1PM. Paid For The Room. Went to Check Out The Room. We Did Not Put Anything in The Room at That Time as We were Busy Running Errands Around Town. About 330PM. We Put Some Things in Our Room. Then Went to Celebrate My Wife’s BiRtHdAy. Got Back to Room About 830 PM. The Curtains Over The Window Would Not Shut Closed Properly. I Went To The Lobby. The Desk Manager Gave Me Some Baby Pins. No Problems. That Worked Fine. Then … This Morning We Noticed a $25 Early Check On Fee. We were not aware of This or Told About This When We Checked in … Had We Known About an Early Check in Fee … We Would Have Simply Came Back After 3 PM and Checked in Then … Very Disappointed About This and Wanting That $25 Credited Back To Our Bank Card. Rant Over.

My place to escape to. All the front desk associates that help me each time are great but Dave is my favorite! It just feels like a 2nd home her and that is always a good thing.

Beware of bed bugs! Stayed there with my son recently and had out entire backs covered in bed bug bites when we woke up the next morning. I recommend staying away.

I NEVER leave a negative review but I was pretty upset that they didn't provide me with toothbrush and tooth paste like every other hotel does. They didn't even have mints to replace it. And on top of that the place is crumbling. Wall shavings on floor elevator and floor dirty and there was a small too. The Windows were nasty haven't been cleaned in years! Gordon Ramsay needs to Help this place. Enough said.

The hotel is so clean and very well presentable and so comfortable. The front desk is very professional and helpful. I absolutely love the location with so many shops and restaurants. I have been to this location many times and will be going for the entire weekend to celebrate an anniversary.

We enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was so friendly! Hotel IS a little outdated and the hallways do smell a little funky (probably from leaky ceiling) and housekeeping could be a little better… but there’s a pool, free breakfast, and for the area, you can’t beat the price. Didn’t have an issue with bugs, so we’d stay there again.

Breakfast was very good. The Staff was real nice to us. It was nice and quiet. The room was comfortable. We would stay here again. We enjoyed our stay. Great value for the price!

Second time that I stayed at this hotel. Great experience! wonderful customer service skills. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Walking distance to movie theater, restaurants and shopping center.

Do not stay here. Me, my child’s father, and our daughter stayed here last night and the first room they gave us (202) the lights would not turn on and the room smelt like mildew. The second room they gave us (203) the shower would not get hot and would not turn off. This was at 1 in the morning, we had to go to another room. The third room we went to (204) we didn’t even wanna shower anymore nor do anything else but sleep cause things were just gonna fall apart again. We did wake up the next morning and before we left realized there was what looked like a cum stain on the arm of the couch and rips in the blanket we were using. We will not be returning.

Older rooms but very clean. Beds were comfortable, appliances all worked properly, fresh paint on walls, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was muffins, the little donuts, cereal and a waffle machine. Coffee and juices. Pool was nice and clean. All in all good value for the price during peak times. Cinco de mayo weekend…

Room 125 is disgusting! We walked into a broken ac unit and a smell of filth and gross that was so bad we had to spend the day outside… they changed out ac units and gave us an air freshener. The hallways all reaked of pot. The shower barely drizzled water. We tried to suck up the terrible smells and brought in our own bedding because we were afraid to sleep on the grossness in the room. But ended up leaving the room before midnight and slept in our vehicle… the only reason we picked this hotel was for the pet friendly accommodation (that we paid $30 on top of the already over priced room fee) … so very frustrated and tired for our kids race day today. Terrible experience and definitely would not recommend this hotel!

There was a dust/powder substance all down the hallways, it was also on the tables and fake plants. The room was clean enough but the did horrible paint touch ups. They didn’t vacuum the furniture very well. The bathroom door barely closed without lifting and slamming it. The hair dryer was rusty. The hot warm barely worked. The nice piece of furniture the has a nice sign saying there a refrigerator your our convince but it was nothing but a big open hole. The refrigerator was on the floor next to the cabinet with a microwave on top of it. The air conditioning was set on 60 when the low is in the the 30. I did pull off the sheets to make sure there was no visible bugs or filth and it was fine. The TV was setting on the cabinet with a wall TV mount hanging behind it. There was really only 1 available plug outlet in a world of technology. Will never stay here or recommend it to any body.

Stayed here for work. Decent rooms with fridge and microwave… Staff was very accommodating even when we stood behind people with ridiculous complaint. I couldn't have handled as good as they did… Overall… This is a great motel for the price.

I don't know if they are remodeling, (which they should) or just updating the lighting. I get off the elevator and within seconds all the lights in hallway go out. Then as I enter the room, I see 4 pillows. Three look clean and white the forth looks yellowish/dirty. Oh! It's just off color? The chair has finger size food remanence on the seat. Dusty all around the TV / dresser. Dirty, if I had the energy and felt that Choice would refund my money I would have gone elsewhere.

My family and I have been staying here for the past 2 months because of hurricane Irma. The hurricane destroyed our home. This hotel has great employees now that new management has taken over. Hotels are great every once in a while but longer than a few nights kinda sucks. But I have to say that there service is great and staff is also great and very accommodating.

It's a budget hotel that allows pets! I'm not sure about these other reviews but we have had no problems. The staff is great and Very attentive. Yes the rooms are a little outdated … the hotel is a little outdated … but was clean, friendly, and quiet (especially next to I-75) Cracker Barrel and Outback Steakhouse in the same parking lot. The free breakfast could be a larger selection but making your own Belgian waffles… yummmy!

Parking was not bad at all. The suite was nice and roomy with a big tub. Not bad for the price at all.

Do not stay here. Go across the street to the Sleep In. The room smelled of urine, heat did not work when it was a chilly 30 degrees outside. The mini trash can looked like someone threw up all over it and all they did was put a new liner in it. Oh, and not to mention the drug paraphernalia in the corner of the room when we arrived. Very disgusting. I have been sick going on 3 days after staying in that room. Needless to say I asked for a refund. Don't waste your time. Do not stay here.

We stayed here after the hurricane and all ended up sick after two nights. The rooms were very stuffy and moist and the windows didnt open. The sheets had odd black stains in mirrored areas leading us to believe they hadn't been washed after the previous person so we brought all our own sheets and pillows. The air vent had some odd black spots and I'm wondering if they were mold now… Don't stay here.

I am only giving a one because it wont let me give it a 0. This place was a dump… stains on the comforter pubic hairs on sheets and pillows, bathroom smelled like urine. I didn't even undress in this place I slept in my clothes and wrapped my pillow in a bathroom towel that I can't be for sure was even clean. I will never waste money here again. Then the guy checking me in was not respecting my privacy. There were three guys waiting and he was saying so your alone? I said yes then asking if I was using cash or credit really loud. I didn't feel safe as a single. Lady already then he yells out I'm alone. That made me feel even more afraid. Very unprofessional.

So it smells okay and the rooms are exactly what you migh t think of when you are given the price. The free breakfast is a waist of time. ***** and be informed the coffee is prepared only once a day any the waist of time bfast and left all day for people to assume it's fresh. It's NOT! owner informed me.

Desk staff was friendly. Room smelled like weed and smell only seemed to get stronger. Bed cover was stained, use your imagination. Other than that it was clean. Large part of wall was drywalled and repaired but not painted. It started looking like a Tiki god after a while, probably due to the weed smell. Head board had a big chunk missing. Probably from some prostitutes high heel kicking it.

This is definitely a 2 star beach resort. The scenery was decent. Upon arrival we were greeted by two men swimming in the rain, one was a fat bearded guy and the other was bald guy with a lot of tattoos. We reserved 2 rooms both were equally as nice, but room 201 smelled like someone had smoked a lot of sticky icky prior to our arrival. Cracker Barrel and Outback (the blooming onion is great) are within walking distance. Price was right, shower was hot and the AC was cold. Will stay again.

By far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Roaches in room, smell of smoke all through the hotel. Asked guy in front desk for silverware because none was in the room and he had an attitude with me. There were holes and blanket stains on sheets bathroom was horrendous. I recommend that no one stays in this hotel.

Did not have a refrigerator for my room. Didn't have a remote control for the TV. Room was clean but far from fancy. Just efficient. It served its purpose if you wanted to escape the heat and power outages of Hurricane Irma!

I think there was mold in my AC unit. Woke up with a sore throat, room was stuffy and humid. Beds and rooms are old. If you even remotely care about cleanliness, don't stay here. About half the staff speaks English. They ran out of breakfast. Overall it was overpriced and unimpressive…

Our room was disgusting! The bedsheets had bodily fluids stains (not blood), the comforter had cat hair and smelled of cat urine, the mini fridge had stuck on food, there was a used toothpick and half eaten candy under the bed skirt and let's not forget to mention the staple that was in the middle of the floor that my 18 month old could have stepped on! I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

We stayed there 2 night for hurricane Irma. No continental breakfast. We had two kids. Roof was leaking had two trash cans near our room in front of elevator. We paid $260 we came in at 300 am Saturday and left 745 Monday morning. Was very disappointed. Staff was awesome. But disappointed in hotel.

From staff being welcoming and helpful to the beds being comfortable and the rooms being clean, this is my 1st choice when in Wesley Chapel! Thank you for your hospitality!

Would give them a big 0 if I could was promised one rate then they tried to change it and charge me a different rate waited 3 days for management to contact me and still have not received a call according to the front desk the management is never there and they of course have no authority to change anything. I have been all over the country and stayed in countless hotels and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had! I would not pay $5 for this filthy nasty room that smells of mold and the sheets were not even clean still had ashes from cigarettes on them. I would never pay or stay there ever again. I will next time pay the extra $5 to stay at sleep inn plus the breakfast is soo much better. Do yourself a favor and don't stay at this place.

We are on our 2nd day on a 3 day stay and I was skeptical with all the mixed reviews. But for $68/night including tax, it was worth it. The room had plenty of space had 2 Double beds and a pull out couch bed, a nice work area, the bathroom was of good size, up to date — flats creen tv, fridge and microwave, plus continental breakfast. Yes the halls were a bit unpleasant but room was not. Not like other roadway I went to last week, I cheked in and got to room and check right back out and they still charge me for a night. The staff were friendly here. Only thing I would say to improve is the bedding, the top covers had a couple spots, other then that I would definitely be back.

One of the best Roadway hotels that I have stayed at. The hotel had a full home gym center, secure door to enter room hallway, and very spacious rooms. Plenty of parking for truckers also.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to my family and friends. The room was clean and the service was outstanding! Free breakfast and walking distance from restaurants and stores. The staff was very friendly and offered great service at all time during my stay here… great place/value!

Horrible service the Indian guy in the lobby was very sarcastic and rude, he asked me if I needed a smoke or non smoke room, I said non smoke, he was like are you sure? I smell cigarette, I was like are you kidding me how rude can you be? I don't care if he is joking that's very offensive. On top of all that the alivatore was broken. This hotel is not even worse 20$ a night That Indian guy shouldn't be dealing with customers at all!

I stayed for one night last week and they are still charging new charges to my card. When I checked in, they assigned me to a room that was occupied, so I walked into an occupied room at midnight. They now have pending charges of $400.00 against my card for a 1 night stay. They have actually processed two charges of $68.00 each for one night. stay away from this fraud. Aman — owner, was jerk on phone telling me I had reservations for three different nighs. I was in area for work for 1 day. Would not assist I any way.

The reviews were pretty good, but I have to say that I picked this hotel for the great price… and it was even better with my AARP discount. It turned out to be the right decision. The hotel was very clean and looked to have been recently been remodeled. The staff was great, especially Kellie at the front desk. Anything that you needed she was there for you… she was a wonderful addition to staying there. It seemed to have a few extras that you don't always find at a Roadway Inn… and also had a decent free breakfast. Being right off of 75 made it the perfect stop while traveling through…

It's located in a nice area, but our room had an horrible oder! Then I noticed the whole place have an oder! The bathroom needed a little more cleaning. The beds are comfortable, and I did like the size of our room. I just couldn't get over the smell.

This is a 1 night stay hotel and its not bad. The hallways do smell, and the room/bathroom looks clean. Key cards dont always work. But if youre in town for 1 night you wont be in the room long anyways.

There was nothing good about this place. Horrible smell, dirty room and me and my daughter actually got TRAPPED in the room. The metal door slammed shut and locked automatically. It had to be pried open with a bar and my fiance slamming full force into it from the outside with one of the workers. Took them 10+ minutes and windows werent designed to even open opened. Everything smelt of cigarettes. It was awful.

Don't stay here. Don't trust the manager. She lied to me and said that there will be no charge or hold on my card for incidentals and surprise there was! Nightmare to get my money back. Icing on the cake is this hotel is trashy. Smelly hallways, horrible rooms, motels are better than this.
