I travel weekly for work and I am very particular about the hotels I stay in. I frequent another hotel brand but I must admit that this stay with DoubleTree by Hilton far exceeded my expectations. I arrived to the hotel at around 3 in the morning on Monday, June 18th after a tumultuous time getting into Orlando. I was highly irritable to say the lease. However, I was greeted with such warmth from the valet and front desk agent that my anxiety was completely eased. Being able to check in online before even leaving out of TN made the process so seamless. There were no hiccups, holdups or hang ups. I received A1 service from start to finish. I loved that the rooms are secured by keycard access to the elevators. I greatly appreciate hotels that make security a priority. Tasj was extremely great checking in with me periodically via the app to ensure that things were going well with my stay. This property will definitely be added to my short list of preferred hotel brands.

Every thing is osam but they don't have Indian food I am daily eats fruit only and too much irritating.

Elevators are kind of outdated and guest do not have respect of giving social distancing and wearing a mask.

Excellent hotel & location. Henrik the manager is one of the nicest helpful people I have met at any property this year. Highly recommended. I had a corner suite with an amazing view of downtown & the Lake on the other side with huge floor to ceiling wrap around windows. Parking garage is a plus. Check it out when your in the area.

Favorite place to stay. Close to most everything but away from tourist traffic.

Hotel was great. Third time I’ve been here. They just didn’t give us the chocolate chip cookies at check in. Disappointed.

The restaurant consistency has Mediocre food. I ordered French fries off of the gluten-free menus do was served a bowl of fruit.

I just stayed at this property and enjoyed my stay! The guest service agent, Alexis did a great job checking me in, and the breakfast server, Letai was very attentive. Super close to the hospital with a shuttle that goes there. Along with spacious, nice rooms. I recommend!

Great experience. Highly recommend you choose DoubleTree. Friendly warm front desk. The best chocolate chip cookies. Big spacious rooms. Clean cool rooms. The air or heat is already on so you don't walk into a hot or cold room. 5 stars easily.

We was staying here 27/4 and will newer visit you again. They had canselled our booking and it took too long time to make up this again. The receptionist handled this situation very badly.

Very comfortable, spacious rooms. Semi-friendly staff. Great room service options. Convenient location in Down Town Orlando. Very nice pool deck on the 4th floor. So far a great bang for the buck. Enjoy every moment because we are never promised tomorrow. ❤

Booked a night at this location for my birthday. Overall I liked the room and my husband and I enjoyed out stay. Beach front was the main reason I chose this location. I booked pretty hastily through a travel website so I was not surprised that the room had a run down looking carpet and a refrigerator that whistled. I'll book through the company site next time lol. But overall I enjoyed my stay, the bed was so comfy, the morning breakfast was delightful, and the staff were amazing!

The hotel is convenient to several venues such as Amway Center, Camping World Stadium, the new soccer stadium as well as the Orlando Science Center. The hotel provides a free shuttle to take guests to local attractions or restaurants although the restaurant at the hotel is very good. But the best thing about the hotel is it's staff. They are all very friendly and try very hard to make one's stay as pleasant as possible.

The night I came, I had issues with the check-in right away. I didn’t receive my complementary bag as a diamond member as well as an owner of another Hilton. The employee on duty seemed half asleep as he messed up my booking. The next morning, upon requesting the welcome bags, we only received 6/8 that we were supposed to. The employee on duty told me herself that she will only give me 6 out of the 8 that I am supposed to receive. I would have been able to excuse all of this, IF they had EVEN decent customer service. They were not only rude as they spoke to us, but also weren’t willing to work with us. As a diamond customer, this stay has made me REALLY curious, what is the real benefit of this? Over 300, 000 points for what? We really need to rethink our loyalty to Hilton.

Stayed here for a business trip. Room was ready on arrival. Check-in was quick and easy. Convenient to the 7/11. Provided shuttle service within 5 miles. The waterfront (of Lakes Ivanhoe and Concord) will be more picturesque when the road construction is finished, but the fact that they provided ear plugs was a nice touch.

It is quite possibly the worst Hilton property that I have stayed at in the very long time. It’s inconvenient to check in and out. There is really no directions or building signage. It took three attempts to get a mini fridge for my room over the course of three days. It took a call to the sales manager to resolve it. The house keeping staff could not get my room cleaned before 6 pm on 2 of the 5 night during my stay. My room service order was screwed up twice. If it wasn’t for the wonderful breakfast hostess, “Erica”, I would be rating them poor. Too many hotels in Orlando to settle for this bad of service ever.

Was there for a work conference and while the presentation rooms were nice on the second floor the all you can eat breakfast buffet left a bit to be desired. For the cost I was expecting a few more options than what was provided. That aside the staff was extremely nice and though I was only there for the day if I need to stay in Downtown Orlando in the future DoubleTree will be my first place to look for accommodations.

I had an absolute amazing experience here. I had my wedding reception on may 12th at this location and Kelsey was my liaison. She went above and beyond for my reception. Everything was beautifully done, the staff was professional but also sweet as all can be. She was nonstop helpful and worked around every bump there was or could have been. Extremely understanding. We even got a hand written note in our suit that night with chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne! Absolutely adored her. Thank you double tree for helping make my special day perfect.

My neice had her reception on 5/12/18 and it was great! The food was amazing. The venue was ready on time and clean. But it was the staff that stood out. These pros show how the hospitality industry is meant to be. Politeness reigned supreme. Being in the hospitality world is not easy. These consummate pros made it seem effortless. Gliding through the crowd they kept the glasses full and the used plates out of the way. Always present but never in the way they worked the reception with class and style. This was the Hernandez-Bird reception on the 2nd floor. These professionals made my neices special day even more wonderful. Special attention to the food prep pros and pastry chef too. The beef roast was sublime, the buffet was proof that good food service is alive and well at this location. Keep up the great work. Please tell those who took care of us that day we noticed, and their hard work did NOT go unnoticed!

Life is full of mysteries to ponder. Like, why did Hilton DoubleTree franchise a location next to a busy rail line, guaranteeing guests hear blaring horns all night? Or, how did a spider manage to build a web on my back, despite the fitfull interrupted sleep? Did housekeeping leave trash from the previous occupant out of misplaced generosity? Does the front desk always act indignant why guests ask questions or did they just not like me? How does the hotel determine the number of outlets that don't work in a room? Why provide itchy low quality ear plugs that do nothing to block noise? It's like someone decided to build a hotel who really hates guests but really likes charging $20/night parking miles away from downtown. The water pressure is really good. Tremendous pressure the likes of which I may never experience again. You can really do a lot with that volume of water. But, Hilton, good gravy, just pull the franchise on this one already. I'm sure it will do just fine as a Comfort Inn.

Very overpriced. I stayed in a DoubleTree in NY the week before at less than $100 per night, including parking and breakfast. Here I paid $200 for a single weeknight with no breakfast, plus $13 for parking. Price aside, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the the bed was comfortable. You have to request a mini fridge and microwave if you want one in your room which is strange for a hotel to not have them in all rooms. Rooftop pool is gorgeous.

There is a train. It passes by at least once an hour. Every hour. All night. It blares it’s horn the whole time it goes by. There are no earplugs in the world that could block that train from waking me up. Every. Single. Hour. Also, they allow guests to smoke in the covered walkway from the parking garage to the hotel. This means that, by the time you get from your car to the lobby, you smell and feel like an ash tray. I ended up cutting my stay short and moving to the embassy suites.

Avoid staying here if possible. The check in staff was not very welcoming and did not acknowledge me despite the fact that I was the only person waiting to be helped. On top of that, there are no basic amenities in rooms such as fridges or microwaves. Over the phone before arriving I was told that a microwave would be available to rent for $10 during my stay (word choice made it sound like a one time payment of $10), then upon checking in was told it was $10 per day, not $10 total. I am both diabetic and a competitive weightlifter so it is imperative I eat at planned times, so I asked to rent a microwave. I was told it would be brought up to my room shortly, however, after waiting an hour and a half it still had not arrived. I decided to call the front desk and ask if there was any confusion on my part or if I misunderstood the microwave rentals and got an apology along with a promise to bring a microwave up shortly (once again). I didn't want to walk down and pester the front desk because I was assuming I was just being impatient, however, after waiting another hour it still had not arrived and I had to call again to remind them. I don't believe that guests should feel like a bother or feel uncomfortable for having to constantly ask for not only customer service, but a service that is an additional charge as well. Not pleased with this stay at all and I genuinely wish I could have cancelled my reservation before arriving.

Very well kept, contemporary-styled rooms. Famous cookies really are quite good. Room service prices are a bit high (not really a surprise) but they also add 20% gratuity and another $3 or $4 fee. Thankfully, there are many fantastic restaurants within a mile or two of here. Breakfast is not included, if you were wondering. Self-parking is about $20, valet $23. Overall, the rates are quite competitive, and the value is high when you compare what you get. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is nice and clean! Love how the shower head and its a good location in downtown Orlando! If you park your car it’s $22 valet and $19 self parking! They give you a warm chocolate cookie when checking in! Great Hilton hotel to stay in.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Orlando. Great amenities except for lack of hot tub. Close to area attractions — Amway Center, Dr. Phillips Theatre, Downtown clubs. My only complaint was that booking was completed 2 months prior to arrival and requested room type was denied because I booked through a 3rd party website because rate was 3x the amount of the hotel website of which I am a member. My stay was on a Tuesday and I am quite certain there were requested rooms available. They claim to make any complaint right. I requested a king bed and I was left with 2 Twins. Overall, beautiful hotel and great experience.

Great hotel and location. Rooms are clean and comfortable, best shower head I’ve enjoyed in a hotel. I’m actually ordering one for my house. Will definitely stay here again! Staff was awesome and the property is well kept.

Great friendly staff. AC didn't work in my room and they took half the price of one night off. Very nice staff and helpful. Nice location. Parking was ehh. Street was free, however the city coned half of it off around 5am for an engineering job. Only other options for parking were the garage ($17) or valet ($20). Not the hotel's fault so can't really blame them. Great stay overall.

Front desk were readily available upon check-in. Friendly front desk. Room service delivered quickly, within 25 minutes, and the delivery serviceman was very friendly. I ordered the club sandwich with ceasar salad, and they were both really good. Room (1 king) was clean, and fairly well sized for 1 person. I liked that tut vanity was separate from the shower. There is a cafe but I didn't get a chance to try their coffee. I recommend this Double-Tree for business or pleasure.

Poorly stocked Hilton Honors lounge. Good breakfast, but poorly cooked bacon every morning. No coca-cola products.

The Double Tree we stayed in North Carolina was Perfect… They dont have water dispenser but they give bottled waters. Coz water is big deal for me… I'm not into coloured and tasty drinks. But in Orlando Double Tree… They don't have water dispenser. When I asked, the bartender was honest that they get water from the tap same as our room. It's ok I said. But when I drink it MEN, it's worst than accidentally drinking water from swimming pool the chlorine was so strong and I have the after taste as if I ate soap.

Extremely strong scent immediately upon entry to lobby which didn't help my migraine. Check in clerk literally did not acknowledge me until her coworker was done checking in the huge party in front of us. Construction happening on the highway on one side of the hotel while the side that I was one had the wonderful pedestrian train passing by every so often all morning, day and night long. Super thin sheets, one of which had a stain on it. Definitely not in the slightest impressed and would absolutely never stay there again.

We had our wedding party stay here at the hotel. The staff was amazing they were friendly very accommodating. The room block rates were fantastic. We were able to use the shuttle on an as-needed basis to get to and from areas around town nearby. The rooms were beautiful. We would stay here again.

Very comfortable facilities for events.

We had an excellent experience. Everyone from the front desk staff to the valets to the housekeeping staff greeted us with a smile and a warm hello. The room was clean and super comfortable. This hotel is well located and easy to access.

Excellent service. Especially the young man who helped us the last 2 days and nights even when we got in so late. He make sure our stay was great. We love the little pantry special they have! Thank you double tree!

Spent one night at the hotel and loved it. Kind staff, clean room, prompt service. We will definitely be returning to the Hilton next time we visit.

I've already given my praises by phone, but I also wanted to leave a review for public gratification. First off, we stayed at the hotel to avoid the worst of Hurricane Irma from Tampa when ironically Orlando got a great deal of the storm as well. During our 3 days (Sat 9/9-Tues 9/12) I was impressed by the dedication of the staff, the willingness to help from management, and all of the smiles and positive outlooks that kept the guest encouraged and hopeful. The city of Orlando implemented a curfew that required the hotel to lock us in for a little less than 24 hours. They provided optional breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets and sent out notices to keep us in the know. My kids watched t. V. Laughed, played, and thought that they were enjoying a typical vacation vs. The fear that they felt while leaving Tampa with a loaded car of survival necessities. We never lost power, although the streetlights right outside of the hotel and ongoing were out, along with a great deal of the city. As we checked out the garage elevator was down so me and my youngest daughter were headed for the stairs with atleast 4 bags in my arms and one in hers… Ralph Brandon insisted on taking a few bags off of my hands and helping us all the way to my vehicle on the 3rd floor. Just when I was thinking man I wish I would've gotten his name he came back to let me know that my tire pressure was low on a rear tire.

Spacious rooms, nice sized pool, there are some things to note about this hotel though. There are no laundry facilities on premise, the gym is on the smaller side, and you have to pay for the parking as a daily fee. The walls are also pretty thin. These may be pros or cons depending on who you are and what you look for in your hotel stay. The staff are very nice, and they do give you free cookies on demand. No other complaints.

Dude, cookies, but really, cookies. Whenever I want I can ask reception for a warm cooky and I'll get one. The outdoor pool is great as well. Perfect in the summer. Close restaurants, lakeside walks, and the hotel food is good if you want to eat there. Also, cookies at reception.

My room was upgraded for free which was nice so I almost feel bad giving them 4 stars instead of 5. The reason I gave 4 stars was the Jacuzzi tub was old and had some rusted area and obvious areas where it had been badly patched and repaired. The jets in the tub looked like they could use a good cleaning. The room otherwise was very nice. I probably would give 4.5 stars if I had that option, staff was very attentive and accommodating to guests. There is a $18 charge for parking or $21 to valet park which I feel was a bit pricey but I had to park so I paid it. I do plan to stay there again in a few months and have already reserved my room, maybe I will get another upgrade?

Nice business hotel without any frills. The rooms was nice and the conference rooms were adequate for all of our meetings. The rooftop pool is a nice touch although slightly misleading because it is on the parking garage and not the actual hotel. They do offer shuttle service to some of the downtown places but they do not shuttle to the airport. I understand that this is not an airport hotel but service there would have been a big help. The breakfast area is nice but it is not an amenity. It's a pay to eat eat breakfast buffet with wait staff service. The parking garage felt rundown and slightly sketchy and there was always standing water in various portions of the garage. Nice hotel if you need to to host a business event or conference.

Nice enough place. Not too keen on the breakfast here as had undercooked sausages served to myself one day and my colleague the next. The chef disagreed with us but they were raw and link in the middle. If you are placed on a particular side of the Hotel then you will need to listen to the train going by at night while it sounds it's horn. Very frustrating. Rooms are nice enough and staff have mostly been helpful. We had a work event here and so far everyone seems to be enjoying the place and the lunches provided.

Sorry but we can only give it 3 stars. My wife and I were in town for a business meeting the next day. The room they gave us was musty and smelled of mildew. It was also right next to the elevators so we heard that all night long along with the traffic from the highway outside and two very loud trains that went by during the night. We figured they gave us this room because we were only staying for one night. As a result neither one of us slept well. Probably our fault too, we should have asked for another room but we were just to tired. So be warned, if you're only passing through and just staying for one night you may get an old dank and noisy room. So why did I give it three stars and not one? Well the hotel did redeem itself because when we arrived we were awarded as "Guests of the Day. " This gave us 2 complimentary glasses of wine from the bar and we each got a complimentary breakfast the next morning which was very nice. They also had a great breakfast buffet the next morning. It's for this reason only that this hotel was not given only 1 star. Very disappointing for a Hilton. We were very disappointed in the room.

I stayed just one night, after attending a funeral. The guy at the front desk was very nice and compassionate, and gave us 2 free drink tickets. The lobby was great, with a bar and restaurant, and a Starbucks cafe. The room was lovely, too. Our friend was staying on the floor with the "little things" snack closet, so we got to take advantage of the free snacks, as well, which is a great feature. I've never seen anything like that before.

Liked the digital key idea. Think of how many times you have had to get new keys because of deactivation. Nice, clean room and friendly staff.

Location is north of downtown which is great because it is more calm. The hotel itself is very nice inside with a greatly decorated lobby. Good service overall. I was happy with my stay.

Very courteous staff and great location! Rooms were well made and service was top notch. Self parking needs some work. The current room key/parking key method didnt work for us too well, having to have a parking assistant consistently let us out. Hopefully this can be fixed. Other than that, great place!

We had a lake facing room. They provided a shuttle to the event we were going to. The hotel was very clean and accommodating. Our rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms do not have a microwave or fridge.

The double tree staff greeted me right away upon arrival. They were awesome and signed me up for Hilton rewards. The room was clean and was perfect. Parking was very easy and the valet were awesome!

Nice hotel. The parking situation is a little frustrating. There is a parking garage down another road that costs almost $20 a night. Other than the parking situation I've enjoyed my stay. Nice rooms, very clean, relatively new. Overall I would recommend.

Actually. A really nice hotel. My room was on the little extras floor. That was nice. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. The staff was pleasant and very accommodating. I look forward to staying her again.

The room was fantastic as well as the atmosphere of the hotel in general — However we had to pay to park in the hotels parking garage ($18.00 for one night) and the free Wi-Fi was a throttled Wi-Fi, to pay for satisfactory Wi-Fi you had to pay $9.95. If book a cheap hotel I lower my expectations, if I pay for an expensive hotel I raise my expectations. To nickle and dime me over parking and Wi-Fi is disappointing.

I visited this hotel for an MBA information session. I parked on the street because what turned out to be the entrance to the parking garage lacked clear signage, and it had people walking with large bags of clothes in the lane that I would have used to drive into the garage. The third floor conference room was fine, but I didn't see clear signage indicating the location of my event; I had to ask a front desk attendant for help.

For starters the place had an uncomfortable atmosphere, filled with elitism. On top of that their breakfast options were garbage, with only a small breakfast bar that had all the bagels and coffees you could ask for, but if that doesn't satisfy you, just drop more money that you already don't have because of the overpriced room, over at the $20 breakfast buffet. Then, once you're done with a mediocre meal, head on up to your room so you can use the Wi-Fi, oh wait, you can't because it's late and the front desk is closed so you can't call to get your Wi-Fi information. So much for complimentary right? Furthermore, the coffee provided in your room tastes like recycled sewage and there isn't a fridge to keep leftovers cold or a microwave to warm them up so don't expect to bring any food back. And what's with the elevators? If I wanted to ride an amusement park ride I'd go to Disney. Also, the bathrooms. Crappy shower curtains and not enough mini shampoos. The biggest thing that irked me is the fact that I can't even print a sheet of paper on their outdated Windows XP computers. I do have to say that the pillows were pretty dank and that's the only reason why I'm giving two stars instead of one. MC out.

Our stay at this hotel was outstanding! Check-in was quick and easy (the warm cookie is always welcome). The room was clean, well-stocked, & the king-sized bed was quite confortable! Staff were all very friendly, recommended an excellent local restaurant for dinner, and delivered a fantastic in-room breakfast the following morning. By far, one of our best Orlando-area hotel experiences.

My stay at the Doubletree was 03/01 to 03/03 2016. I was not happy. The décor is nice enough, Starbucks is in the Lobby, free home baked cookies, free snacks, free shuttle service to and from restaurants and the staff is friendly. My problem was with my room. There was no toilet paper, the toilet didn't flush and the room temperature was uneven. An engineer adjusted my thermostat and on the second night I woke up because the room was unbearably too hot. Two hours later it was freezing cold. So cold I had to strip the bedding from the second bed and put it on one bed along with a requested blanket to get warm. The cold air was blowing without stopping. My friend who was on another floor had to have his room changed because of the noises from construction. You could also hear the train through out the night. I was happy to go home.

Room was great, clean. Bed was comfortable. Only complaint was the key card did not work well. Got stuck in the garage.

Had an excellent stay at the DoubleTree. Friendly service complete with an efficient, personal check in that came with a warm chocolate cookie (weird, but really a nice touch and pretty damned good cookie), to a decent restaurant with a complete bar. Room was clean and bed/pillows were comfortable. The location was good for downtown and access to Mills, but otherwise in an unenthralling area and designed for business travelers.

Hilton honors little extras room. Free Wi-Fi and unlimited snack pantry sweetened the deal.

As with any Hilton hotel, beautiful presentation for guests and the Orlando skyline is amazing from this location. You're also close enough to amenities downtown it's all quick and easy. Knowledgeable staff and concierge for activities in the surrounding area.

Service is friendly. Location is convenient and basically spitting distance from downtown. Rooms are immaculate. They do a good job maintaining the building. I've stayed here a few times and I've never been dissatisfied.

Our third stay at this hotel… the rooms have been updated since our last visit! Love the updates. Very friendly staff & great service. I would definitely recommend this location if you are in the area.

Walls are little thin otherwise this place is nice if you are looking for hotel near by. Great staff, clean rooms and great breakfast. I wasn't sure what to think after I read reviews on Google about spiders. But no spiders to report, they must have packed up and moved up north.

My stay was great. When I checked in they gave me a cookie. They had a 24 hr gym. The in room coffee was really good. It was easy to use one of the conference rooms as well.

The cost for parking is ridiculous considering there is free parking in the street that's closer to the door than the garage is. Charging 20% of my hotel rate in parking also seems steep. The hotel is nice enough, room was clean and the lobby was spacious. Only here for a night so not sure about housekeeping.

The room was alright, but dirty and dusty. But the kicker was when I went to take a shower, it wouldn't drain. When I checked the plug it just fell off. I called downstairs to inform them. All they said was okay we will make a note. They didn't send anyone to fix it.

Management: For your information, "Three species of recluse spiders have been found in Florida:Loxosceles reclusa, the brown recluse.  Loxosceles rufescens, the Mediterranean recluse. Loxosceles laeta, the Chilean recluse. " How dare you respond to a guest that has been bitten in your hotel, that recluse spiders are not native to our state.

I didn't like the fact that they charge you 20 dollars a night for valet and 17 dollars a night for self parking when you are a guest at their hotel. I spent 200.00 dollars for a romm plus 40 for parking I have never stayed at a hotel where they charged guests for parking. Like Paris hilton's father doesn't make enough money where he has to stick his greedy hand up his hotel guests ass and grab another fee for parking I will never stay at a Hilton again. They left a bad taste in my mouth. Another thing is that when I went to check in they didn't have my name on file I had to read them a confirmation email… maybe you should hire someone with a brain that knows how to put people in the computer correctly.

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip to Orlando. On the 3rd day I woke up with what appeared to be two small burns on my arm. I started feeling dizzy throughout the day and the punctures looked like they were getting bigger so my coworkers advised me to go to an Urgent Care. When I did, the doctor immediately recognized it as a BROWN RECLUSE BITE, which he said must have occurred no more than 8 hrs before (I would have been sleeping) He gave me a topical prescription and said that I was lucky that the bite wasn't worse. Upon returning to the hotel, all that I asked was that my room be moved and that the urgent care bill and prescription be covered. They did in fact move my room, however, to a room that overlooked the midnight highway construction. The Hotel informed me after I left that, because they couldn't find the spider (which would have been pretty tiny) in the hotel, they were unwilling to reimburse me and in no way responsible for the spider bite. They made no effort to compensate me in any way for this terrible experience. I'm grateful that this bite wasn't terrible, in the sense that I didn't have to be hospitalized, but the inconvenience of having to take a half day off during a 5 day business trip to sit in an urgent care and deal with this and then pay almost $200 for the visit was unsettling. I would never have even considered writing a negative review if they had just covered the cost of the medical treatment.

Hotel was very clean. Great room for the value. Sophia and the one lady in the parking garage were very professional and helpful.

Best hotel and best prices. I loved my experience last time. I was greeted with a smile and the room was extra clean. Staff is always helpful.

Excellent experience staying the weekend. Clean, updated rooms, great location and excellent customer service. The complimentary van service was a plus. Courteous drivers. Nice pool area.

Worst hotel stay I have ever had. Check in counter had a bad attitude. I asked for a roll away, didn't really get a confirmation so I asked again. It did not get delivered until I asked a 3rd time at 11PM. In the room next to me a couple started fighting at 3AM. Security was called 3 or 4 times over the next hour and 1/2. The screaming, cussing, banging of furniture and doors was out of control. I realize the hotel can not screen guests but I would have thought that with all of the domestic violence in the news today, the hotel would have called the poliece. As it turns out we were up all night and had no energy the next day to visit local attractions. We packed up and went home. Will Never stay at hotel again.

9:00 pm I decide to order room service. Phone rings forever. No answer. I call again. No answer. I call the front desk. They transfer. No answer. I call front desk again. Transfer to bar and no answer. I call front desk again. Lady says the hotel is full with many meetings and she is sorry. The bar was dead and all meetings are wrapped up. Horrible experience. Do not lodge here. I would defer all future company meeting somewhere else. What is scary, if a hotel can't get room service right, just imagine what else they are messing up.

I think they gave us the dingiest room in the building. The furniture is scratched up. The shower curtain is tattered. It seems very old. I'd prefer to stay in a Holiday Inn. I expected so much more from Hilton. Here, I thought I was coming up in the world by staying in a Doubletree hotel, but I feel like I'm in a motel. And to make things even worse, my husband and I were bitten by bed bugs! NASTY, NASTY, NASTY. I'm actually writing this review from the hotel room 603. We checked in last night and are trying to find somewhere else to go. I wish I had read the reviews before I booked.

Great service! Franchesca was so nice and a great example of what you would expect from customer service when she checked my family in. Usually when im checked in at any other hotel they could care less about the customer. I loved the proximity to downtown. The shuttle was great! (weird thing was the shuttle driver asked for a tip, that was strange. ) I thought the restaurant served awesome food and the starbucks was a nice touch! On a side note, my room was nice other then the stain on the entrance carpet and when I called the operator I got someone that knew nothing and I had to wait and call back to get the actual front desk. Overall I enjoyed my time here. Just dont dial 0, go straight to the fornt desk.

We spoke with a gentleman and also a Veteran named Chris, to confirm our Mother's acomodations at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Downtown made by Stephanie for the next few weeks. I know from the past experience, Mother will be well taken care of and very pleased with her accomodations Both Stephanie and Chris, were quite personable, friendly and affable. I confirmed the reservation with specific requests noted by Chris, who was quite pleasant and also most accomodating, for the comfort of our elderly Mother, during her stay, especially since Stephanie had taken care of everything for us, earlier in the day. She is to be commended as well. :) The Staff and the Management have been so very pleasant and most accomodating. We have attended many celebrations at DoubleTree, and have always enjoy each occasion with compliments to the Staff and Management, for their efficiency:). Will write another review at the end of her stay, and rest assured, it too will be 5 Stars! If you are looking for the perfect place to stay, this is minutes away from all the attractions, The Orlando Museum, Science Center, and if necessary, near Florida Hospital. Lovely views and wonderful Staff.

This "3.4 STAR" DOUBLETREE HILTON IS A NO STAR "HOTEL" We stayed for 2 nights on the 20-21st of JUNE 2014, to be close to family. The illusion of a "Hotel" ends once you leave the lobby, the hallways are covered in bangs, dents, and the furniture is in even worse condition, completely worn down, with scratches, and carvings. The carpets are filthy, worn, burned, uneven/ warped. We stayed in a double room with 2 FULL sized beds. Being 5'10 I barely fit into the bed, anyone taller than this will not sleep comfortably in these beds. The Air conditioner was blasting at full capacity all night, even though the room barely came down to a 77 degrees. (Obviously the A/C system and air filters haven't been changed or serviced. ) With no way to open any windows in the room, you feel like you are cooking inside a pizza oven. Upon returning to the "Hotel" the 2nd night of June 21st, our beds were UNMADE, and the towels were still on the floor from the morning! Being almost 11pm, and having an early departure, I went down to the reception to ask for clean towels. The night manager said he would send someone up immediately. no one delivered any towels. (Or left them outside the door) The following morning I went down to reception at 5:00am, to request clean towels so we could shower and leave. The towels took over 35 minutes to be delivered. Setting us back considerably on our departure.

My cousin and I stayed at this hotel when we visited Orlando for the weekend. The service we received was good. We got a 2 queen size bed and the room was pretty spacious. Bigger than what we have back in Boston. Overall, 5 stars. We enjoyed our stay there. No complaints at all. And room service was excellent.
