This is our 2nd time here. This stay is disappointing. No room service and another customer was complaining the advertised “complementary” 2 bottles of water a day weren’t being given out due to “Covid. ” This Covid excuse needs to come to an end. Just an excuse especially since masks are NOT mandatory anywhere on site. No reason they can’t clean the rooms either! The cushions on the outside seating is pretty gross. No music at all, not even around the pool or the patio bar. The grill closes at 4 pm and NO food available unless you go to Rumfish (very expensive and few choices. $41 for ribeye steak 🤦🏼‍♀️) or order delivery. For almost $400 a night and nothing available I would not stay here again. Grand Island a much better choice and the small difference in price is a much better option.

Understaffed, room not ready until 7:00pm on check in day, no housekeeping until 4th day and then they didn’t show up when scheduled, lots of excuses given, small rooms, stairways dirty, have to line up every day to reserve a cabana for the next day, many amenities closed, I could go on. We will not be back.

We had an incredible vacation. The best part was the staff. Every person we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. I am thankful we booked this resort. They have several kid friendly activities, which worked out great for us. Overall, they deserve nothing less than 5 stars ⭐️

This place is awesome, the staff is great, the rooms are clean, the beach is beautiful and the best part of our stay is how my pets were made welcome. As soon as we checked in, my furbabies were offered treats at front desk and they have a great dog park. Thumbs up RumFish, I definitely give you a 10 out of 10!

We had a wonderful time there. The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative and the service was exceptional. We enjoyed meals onsite along with the amenities.
Our room was clean, the decor nice, and we always had hot water and good water pressure for showers. The bed was extremely comfortable.
What made the biggest impression were the people working there. They are intent on making your stay memorable. We’d love to come back.

BEST PLACE TO STAY! Everyone is super super nice and they will make sure you are having fun and are happy! The atmosphere and food are super good! We plan to keep coming here… we have come here for 3 years in a row and have no desire to go anywhere else… I cannot say enough about how beautiful… awesome… and how much fun it is here… we are able to walk everywhere and have a great time! It is paradise! Best vacation ever! ☀️

Spent the weekend there and had an amazing time. The staff was awesome! Always asking if you needed anything and going out of their way to make our experience enjoyable. Great location with great amenities on site. Will definitely be back.

Had a great time. Alissa at front desk was outstanding. At check in and check out. She remember use most of the times. With both hotels as full as they are that means a lot and made is feel special. Jodi at the guys grill was an outstanding waitress. Tim at the flying bridge way beyond outstanding. The cleaning staff look so wore out but always gave a sweet hello or stop and offered us more towels. The hotel was way over crowed but I was floor how well all the staff did. Everyone working here all get a 5 star rating for sure.

Location, location, location. Very friendly staff. Room — so, so but the bed was comfortable. No balcony. Prices reasonable walking distance to restaurants. And we had access to use. Amenities at sister resort Trade Winds.

So I will do a pro and cons list: Pro — Great location, staff was really nice Cons — Very limited parking, small rooms, a little run down, no water pressure, two very small pools, and when it rains no TV service. For the price you pay per night I would not recommend. I would rather pay less and get a better room not on the water or pay a little more for a nicer hotel on the water. We paid almost $300 a night, definitely not worth that price. Went back and looked at other reviews after the fact and they sound a lot like my issues. Save your time, money, and aggravation and find another place.

Guy Harvey's is a great resort to stay at. Very clean and very accommodating! Right on a beautiful beach with great restaurants all around. This resort is family friendly, but can also be enjoyed for a romantic getaway.

Everyone was amazing from the time we checked in until the time we checked out! Our room was nice & very clean & very roomy. Liked their amienities. Only suggestion would be is to have ice machines on every floor verses only 2. But then that, great place!

My family and I have stayed in a lot of hotels in St. Pete Beach, but this resort is by far the best place we have ever stayed! A special shout out to the front desk clerk Sade who from the first time we stepped in the lobby she greeted us with a big smile, kindly offered to upgrade our room to an ocean front suite for a small fee and made sure we had a full understanding of all the resort amenities. Our room was clean and large for a family of 3 with a great view of the pool and ocean. Our 4 year old son loved the pool, feeling the ocean critters in the gift shop, making s’mores by the camp fire and riding the giant water slide. In fact my husband and I loved the water slide as well. The beach cabana staff were top notch too! Especially, Bill who came over brought us ice for our cooler without asking and made sure we were completely satisfied. On day 2 my son had a rash from his swim trunks and he began screaming after exiting the ocean. Bill rushed over to find out what was wrong and he offered to get us cortisone cream and coconut oil to ease the pain. We were blown away by the accommodations and generosity of the staff! The beach was clean and there was never a problem reserving beach cabanas. This resort is amazing and will be the only place we come to stay from now on! I can't say enough good things about this place. The stand out is the staff. Victor, Charlie, Cortez, Shelly, and Diane to name a few, but there were many more. We were left wanting for nothing. This was our first visit to Florida, and this resort took good care of us. The beds were very comfortable. There was live music almost every day. Drinks and food were always available (a little pricier than off the resort). Pools, immediate beach access, great customer service, hot tub, and walking distance from all types of restaurants. One of our best vacations.

My best friend and I came here Apr. 11-15 for a girls weekend. It was perfect. We just missed the Spring Break crowds and the weather was in the 80’s and nothing but su : the timing couldn’t have been better! Everyone at the hotel was super nice, friendly and accommodating. The Sandbar was the perfect spot to watch the dreamy sunsets and the staff there were incredible; in particular Jake, James and Rachel in the evenings. There are tons of restaurants on the campus and soooo much to do for all ages. It is the perfect place for every vacationer type! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Shelly at the lobby coffee place was the sweetest. Jim at the cabanas was so friendly. The guys with the water sports activities (in particular the para sailing guys, I wish I could remember their names but the boat driver was from DC originally) were so friendly and funny. The parasailing was so fun! They have gigantic slides, Ocean water equipment to play on, a mechanical shark and mechanical surf board, paddle boarding, jet skis, and more! They have bar crawl game too for 21+ when you get a (nice) free tee shirt when you complete it! They have lots of fire pits out back and you can do s’mores too. Carmen at Concierge was really sweet and helpful when I had a question about our bill. Our room was really nice, we got a two bed, gulf view room and it meet our needs perfectly.

Love this hotel, beautiful, professional, very attentive friendly staff, very clean. Tons of activities for all ages and a really nice sister hotel that u also get access to right up the beach a short walk. Beautiful rooms, gorgeous ocean views, an adult only pool but have access to 8 different pools, heated towels, gorgeous garden… I could go on but I wont. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful view. Bars stay open late so expect some noise. Spacious rooms. Bit of a maze, but easy to navigate.

Too much to write, but we had an amazing vacation here… not one complaint. They gave us a beach front room upgrade for $30 a day, we had all of the amenities of the Tradewinds Main Hotel, and two great places for entertainment next door, The Toasted monkey and Jimmy B's. Nearby restaurants were excellent as well. Staff was above and beyond any expectations we had. The Rumfish restaurant is very nice and there were several nice gift shops between the two hotels. We can't wait to go back next year.

I would give 5 stars only for the staff we encountered during our stay! They were all very nice. We were advised that we were “upgraded” to a different room as we had requested early check in. I would have gladly waited for a regular room after seeing this “upgrade”. We were put in a room across from the linens room for housekeeping. This room was accessed 24 hours a day as at night we could hear the door slamming constantly. On our first night there the sheets on one of the beds were stained and an hour after calling down requesting clean sheets, we gave up and shared a bed. The next day when housekeeping did come, our bathroom was not cleaned, and after the 2nd night our beds were not made up. The closet door came off the track and our balcony door wouldn’t open or close and the handle was broken. Maintenance was sent up but only fixed the closet. I paid for a front row Cabana and after advising I wouldn’t be needing it they removed my name and advised they would talk to management and someone else was put in our cabana. I asked again about it upon checkout and was told they could look into it and call me later that day. I’m still waiting. I have emailed in regards to our stay and the cabana refund and still have not had a response. I would look elsewhere before spending your money on the accommodations here or request any room but 6823!

We spent seven days at the guy Harvey outpost for my wedding! I can't rave enough how amazing they were! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating and not even just that they were so much fun they felt like family! I would highly recommend the guy Harvey outpost to anyone, families and just adults! The beach was clean and absolutely stunning. The rooms were beautiful and the view immaculate! Anything we needed they accommodated! The pools and bathrooms, the bars and restaurants were beautiful and delicious! If you don't want to stay for dinner at the resort there are amazing restaurants all in walking distance! For the wedding we were treated to chocolate covered strawberries and champagne my husband and I felt like celebrities! By far the best vacation ever! Don't think twice, BOOK IT!

I love this place we go to Rum Runners and then we go out by the beach and it's just beautiful grounds everybody's very nice and helpful. The food is great at Rum Runners their hamburger is the best I've ever had. We live here and will always go there for drinks and Good Times.

Enjoyed our stay here. However, the room was tiny. Had a sink, small fridge, microwave, and no stove. Faucet in bathroom takes forever to get hot, the shower was fine. Everything was expensive, my wife and I each had a piece of chocolate dessert and paid $25 plus tip. Nice amenities. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Much better than the Trade winds where we stayed last year.

Incredibly relaxing place. So many activities for people of all ages that it would really be difficult to be bored here. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The grounds are big enough that just wandering them is an afternoon! The predatory high pressure salespeople in the lobby/shops/restaurants pushing buying/upgrading timeshares can get pretty annoying, but that's to be expected from a timeshare. Every other staff member was absolutely lovely. I can't think of a time where I was treated so warmly.

The rooms were a little dated but nice. The location was the best, right off the beach. The beach was clean and well keep. Service was lacking a bit because I asked for a king bed in the room and we got two full size.

Good selections on the menu, wait staff was very accommodating, entire staff super welcoming. Food was tasty and well prepared. Large serving sizes. The pork sandwich with mojo sauce had nice juicy pieces of pork. The blue crab bisque had lots of tender crab chunks and lots of flavors. Firecracker shrimp had a nice heat to the sauce. The huge acquaireum is a special treat, it makes up the entire end wall of the dining room. Our family goes there several times a year.

Was disappointed in the old/run down looking rooms. For the price you'd expect it was going to be very luxurious but it definitely was not. The staff did not seem very informed about anything. The elevator was scary, it took a good 5 full minutes to go ONE floor. I would not spend the money to go back and I would not recommend.

I'm telling you, one of the best stays we've had ANYWHERE! The staff made the place. Everyone went out of there way to say hello, can I help you in any way, need directions, advice. Room was great. Beach view outstanding. Food in the bar I would skip next time. We will most definitely return there.

The slightly more laid back (and I'm assuming less expensive) version of Tradewinds resort. A nice however inconvenient location for a Tampa Bay Lightning hockey watch party. The rooms seem clean but a little dated and small, but the grounds were well groomed. Nice place to visit as part of a convention or organization meeting, but I'm not sure I'd personally stay there.

Was very excited to spend time at the beach for St Pete Bikefest. The staff is top notch. The room spacious and clean. Unfortunately, being a light sleeper, I had called and requested a room away from the neighboring bar and sadly was placed in a room right next to the lobby. On the main driveway for guest entering the property. Two nights in to a four night package and I am looking forward to going home. These rooms on this driveway should honestly never be rented out.

We had a sliding door that wouldn't shut, Tony saw us struggling to get it to lock and graciously came to our rescue! He was so kind. When checking in Alyssa was so sweet and was very helpful, she even sent us something special to our room as it was a special occasion for us! I won a trip voucher from work and am so thankful our travel agent booked us here!

Beautiful, convenient and family friendly. Room was spacious and equipped with all we needed. Beach access was easy and had supplies for families. Lots to do here so you never need to leave the property.

We enjoyed the hotel. The rooms were clean, the service was great. Staff very friendly. The common areas were kept very clean. The location was great. I really only have one complaint. This is a "family friendly" hotel. There's an all access pool and an adult pool. The problem is… everything is by the all access pool. The fire pit, the cabanas, the BAR. So guess where all the adults hang out? There were 40 people in the AA pool at one point, drunken adults being, let's just say very affectionate, with each other and like 10 kids. Meanwhile there were 4 people at the adult pool.

Excellent service! So many fun amenities to enjoy. Rooms work particularly great but were clean and comfortable. The food was very good!

Staff was friendly, food delicious, drinks well made, room was amazing. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the lounge chairs by the main pool seems dirty. (They were all clean at the adult pool) I highly recommend this hotel.

Although the staff is very sweet and try to accommodate, the location is next to a super loud bar that plays music every night until 1am. If you are a light sleeper, it isn't worth staying here, even if they put you on the "quiet side" of the hotel. The rooms are super tiny unless you buy a suite and the showerhead was so dirty that black stuff was coming off of it when it was run. I was moved over to the main Trade Winds and it's like night and day. The staff were more than willing to move me over and I am thrilled with the main location.

We stayed at Guy Harvey for the first time August 16th-19th. We were warmly greeted at check in and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check in quite early (which was appreciated as we had a long drive to get there). We were also given an option to upgrade our room for a small nightly fee, which made my son so happy that he did not have to share a bed with his sister. The room was okay. They are definitely older rooms. Our closet door kept coming off the hinges and the refrigerator door would bump into the suite door. The cleaning staff did a great job though and the room had a perfect Gulf view. The pool area and grounds were well maintained and in great proximity to the beach. The Sandbar Beach Bar was nice and Jake the bartender was a pleasure to deal with. We also had a great breakfast at Guy's Gulfside Grill and Chelly was a great server. Our kids really enjoyed the pool area and they said they enjoyed the resort more than our recent stay at the Cabana Bay Beach Resort in Orlando. If you don't mind the quirky, older rooms, this hotel's location and amenities are well worth a visit! Thanks for the great memories Guy Harvey!

We spent a lovely afternoon in the Guy Harvey Outpost we shopped they had wonderful things to to look at and buy they also have a an aquarium and we were able to watch people snorkeling within the aquarium. We found the people working there very helpful and knowledgeable they also had beautiful artwork on the walls which we spend time enjoying. We enjoyed lunch and a few drinks and I would highly suggest this as a fun place to spend an afternoon.

The room was nice, the beds were comfortable. There were a few problems with the stove and door but otherwise great. My grandson loved it here. He had lots of fun at the pool and at the beach. Lots of other kids to hang out with. Very family friendly with lots of activities for the kids. This my second time staying here and we have enjoyed our stay both times.

Drinks were great. Dinning room was closed mid day and bar had a very limited menu. Bar was well lit and clean. Staff were attentive. Garden was small but well kept. Beach access was nice and not too many people. Better parking than most places on beach Dr. Gluten free options available but many were not my style.

My first visit and I just loved the aquarium. The art on rice paper with these amazing oversized frames were just lovely. My friend had the shrimp cocktail and it was perfectly accented w lime and lemon with the cocktail sauce. At our table we had 2 orders of steak and they were good but nothing to rave about. The double lobster tail dinner, bisque, table bread and jasmine rice, I recall everyone was very happy about. The coconut rice was not something I would suggest, dissapointed. I had the grouper with risotto and greens and it truly was the perfect size and I intend on ordering this again. The chocolate lava desert was well accented by the very sweet (I think) butterscotch ice cream, I'm not sure of the flavor but it had pecans. I had the bread pudding and I would suggest trying it. Good experience, just don't go for the steak. Clean gift shop and the restrooms could have used a cleaning.

Stayed here for the Memorial Day weekend. Things that went wrong: • Requested an upgraded 'oceanfront' view suite. Walked in and all you could see were palm fronds in front of the sliding glass doors. If you kneeled down then you were able to see the gulf. After two other room visits we settled on a 6th floor room. • The rooms were outdated. • A guest staying at the hotel had told us her wallet had been stolen from her room by the maid and the maid supposedly never returned back to her job. • On our last day of our stay the interior door handle to the room literally broke off from the door. • The tub and tub mat (worn out and needs replacing) were incredibly slippery. The shower head was small, outdated and didn't offer a lot of water pressure. • A regular cup (12oz) of Starbucks coffee was over priced, it was over $4.00. The attendant told me I could bring back my paper cup as many times as I'd like for a $3.00 refill per cup (Wow! What a bargain! ). The coffee was luke warm at best. • The pool was tiny for the size of the resort. • Walking 200 yards to the Tradewinds for amenities. • The offshore play lounge was not included in the daily activities rate and managed by teenagers. During our visit, there were six or more teenagers that were being reckless on the equipment and didn't care smaller children were in the water with them. I would suggest an age limit as well as how many can be in the water at one time.

The staff is friendly. The pools are a bit small but why use a pool when you have the ocean. The gift shop is nice. The food at the restaurants is good. The bar had a good number of drinks. You can visit and use island grands facilities which is a 5 minute bleach walk away. The share of the beach is a nice area. The only complains I have is that you can't get a king size bed without upgrading the room and the drinks were a bit on expensive. There are plenty of activities that you can participate in.

The fish tanks are nice, but if you don't have front row tables, then it's pointless. It's very pricey, really not worth it. They do milk the fact that the place is done front he show Tanks.

Our second visit to the Guy Harvey. Still a great place but the rooms need updating for it to get 5 stars. It's great that you can use the trade winds resort facilities while having the quieter hotel in the Guy Harvey.

HORRIBLE! Where to start? We arrived at 7pm. Diane was very friendly and very informative. Once I found out the location of our rooms, yes rooms, because I was traveling with my family. 4 kids, my fiancé and myself. They were located right next to the front desk on the outside of the building! Right next to where people unload and load their cars! They converted a double occupancy (2 queen bed room) and a king "suite with a conjoinnjng door to make a room big enough to accommodate us. But yet they stated nothing else was available. Right?!? As soon as I checked in they send me to the concierge who immediately wants me to attend a timeshare meeting and pay him $20 deposit. NO ONE helped my family remove our bags from the car. NO ONE helped us to our rooms! When I went into the rooms you could feel the moisture in the room. Everything was damp to the touch. It had a musky smell in it. The rooms were very old with Guy Harvey decor everywhere. Not impressive. My kids were so excited to see that right off their patio was a pool and hot tub. Only to their dismay it was the adult pool! You should have seen the looks on my kids face when I told them yes that is a pool but you can't go in it! How would put a family with children right next to a adult pool? We settled in because according to the front desk they were booked. We went to Rumfish grill and the hostess told us she would not be able to accommodate us that night.

I stayed at the tradewinds but visited guy Harvey for the restaurant. The food was good, the service was great, and I enjoyed the fishes. The store was a bit overpriced at 28 bucks for a t shirt.

On a bachelorette weekend Diane the concierge was AMAZING! She. Was so accomadating!. Victor was also wonderful and had a special gift delivered to our room for the bride to be! Beautiful property. 5 star staff.

Staying at neighboring trade winds property stopped here for some drinks. Nice atmosphere friendly staff. A little pricey but still worth it for great beachfront experience.

I had a really great stay. Was here for a professional conference at the resort and had a great time. Dinner at the restaurant was very good and the fish tank is a must see.

Went to the Guy Harvey Gulfside restaurant for drinks and food at happy hour. Really nice waitstaff and good food. The happy hour and sunset specials are really good as well as tasty!

Worst treatment ever. Booked 2 Ocean view rooms, checked in 1 room was on the 7th floor (no view). Second room was nasty outside on 1st floor. Next to dumpsters and service hall. Floor was soaking wet, frig was leaking. We had tickets to a Rays game. When reservation was made we were told they had a shuttle. Not true, waited almost an hour till a bellhop finally got us a cab. Girl at front desk didn't care, said she had been working 24 hours straight. Our room was not ready until 4:35. Hotel is old and worn, no customer service…

I make this comment on our last day of hosting, was first quality by staff, breakfast and rich dinner, clean and well neat rooms, there are 2 TVs in the room, kitchen, 2 fridges, cutlery, dishes, everything safe, Superrrrrrr… There is one thing that I agree is that charge by the parking lot and the chairs at the edge of the sea charge you US 37. Friendly, should be not charged to the guest. Many thanks to TEDDY's reception for all.

I had the opportunity to stay there for 7 days, along with 7amigas of the school.
Everything was excelente:punto of the hotel, rooms, staff, services, food, beach and activities. Everything was excellent and we want to return!
