Suites were not what I imagined. Just a clean nicely done room. Nice hotel, only thing special about the suite was it was on the top floor.

Very good customer service. Clean the rooms and nice pool area.

The rooms and pools are clean rhe staff is so nice, I love it here.

I spent a week therein and have no complaints. The staff with whom I interacted were cordial and helpful.

Is a fabulous place to stay inn.

Worst experience ever. Had to leave for an early morning flight with no shower because the hotel did not have hot water! after a long day of travel and starting another long day of travel with no hot water is unacceptable. Makes for very angry travelers.

We visited from Ohio and was very happy with our stay here. Very clean and very friendly & hospitable. It would be nice to have a coffee station down in lobby for those on the go. The location was perfect also!

I’m sharing this review a few months late because honestly I had a pretty traumatic experience. To start, I’m a pretty tough girl who can hold her own but, with that in mind, I’m smart enough to know that I don’t really stand a chance physically against a lot of men. To keep the story short, I went to a concert with a man I was seeing and we were going to spend the night here after. He did some things to me there that made me feel unsafe. I returned here, where we had checked in a few hours earlier, and explained to the woman working that this person, who was in the room, had all of my belongings and that I felt unsafe going to the room where he was (and had my belongings and car keys… I picked him up earlier). I said that I just wanted to rest and collect my thoughts before going up. She said that was fine. I informed her of my situation and that I was technically checked in, but felt too afraid to go back to the room. Moving on, I hung out in the lobby and closed my eyes for a bit because it was 2 AM and my eyes were sleepy… because I was tired. The man who was working alongside her called me out and told me to “wake up please you can stay but you can’t sleep” I WAS SO EMBARASSED. I looked at the girl who I confided in and she was laughing with him. I felt so dumb. Instead of trying to explain the uncomfortable situation I was in again, I decided to go to the room… alone… where this guy was… who was violent towards me… and bigger than me.

Great staff. All the amenities. Have yet to get decent eggs at the restaurant. WAY too greasy, crunchy, not fluffy. Rooms have fridges but no microwave ovens. Asked for one yesterday but haven't gotten one which requires repeated trips to the lobby to warm up my meals. Props to the shuttle driver who fetched me from a shopping excursion when my phone died and I couldn't get Uber.

I love it, but if I have some bad to point out would be their fitness room. They need to upgrade it. There is people in the world that do work out ya know. Other then that it was good :)

This location is quite clean and the rooms seem updated. The bed was comfy and a/c worked really well! Front desk staff was a little stiff on check in. They were full, though, and likely very busy at The desk. Sodas are about each from 3.00 lobby and vending machines. Kind of crazy! We don't drink much soda so not a big deal.

Well appointed clean place with accoutrements only one iteration from the newest being used. Very pleasant and helpful greeters. Nice restaurant with exceptional breakfast dishes. Parking and access from large sections is not good unfortunately, and costs them a star.

Hotel staff very friendly. Room was very clean and we had the option to not have maid service every day. Location is good for heading down to Denver or up to Boulder and the mountains. All rooms being non-smoking is a plus. Will consider staying here again.

Always have loved this place. Generally stay here every time we go to Denver. Miss the hot tub though. Wish they would bring it back.

What a great staff! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Ended up extending my stay from 1-2 nights to 5 because of the staff, amenities, business center, and centrally located to all of the day trips surrounding Denver. Thank you!

The staff is great, but the property is showing its age aesthetically and maintenance of the property is not up to standard. Rooms don't have microwaves. My toilet didn't work: the chain connecting the handle to the flapper broke. They sent up maintainance who may or may not have fixed it, but it remained broken. The second time, maintenance fixed it. Overall, this property doesn't maintain IHG standards.

Coming from a hotel + hospitality in downtown Denver, our wedding block at Holiday Inn Denver Lakewood was utterly perfect from start to finish! From working with Karen & Michelle on details, to housekeeping who cleaned our room in quickly upon request on our wedding day, this really was bliss all around. We probably had close to 30 family / guests staying at the hotel for the wedding, the shuttle was perfect to take to our venue at The Barn. The front desk staff were very patient + constantly helpful and cheerful at check in, and for all requests in between! I wish I recalled some of their names. The bar / restaurant onsite was perfect for our late night guests who came back and filled the bar after our reception. Tina was fun at the bar! It became a beautiful haven space and meeting place for so many family traveling, very convenient location with restaurants and shopping close by. Thank you so much!

Really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Got the king size room/ breakfast package and was not disappointed.

The front desk was just absolutely great. The room was very clean and very well prepared for all guess. The food was great as well. The only down side was the pool was out of order, but we got to go to the Club USA fitness center and use our room key to access the spa and pool. Thanks for great visit. Rich,

Newly renovated, this hotel was a great experience. The best of that experience being both the front desk and the restaurant. Great food. I had the wrap which was displayed beautifully on plate. It made me regret not having captured a picture of it before its demise. Front desk hospitality was very kind.

This Holiday Inn is nice. It's in a great location close to a lot of the things we needed to be near. Rooms were super clean and the staff was friendly. Couldn't ask for a better stay.

Rooms were recently remodeled. They were clean. The front desk was polite and helpful. The restaurant was good, too. Parking was simple and easy. It made for a nice getaway while we were visiting friends in the area.

Lovely rooms, the mattress was so good I want to go buy a new one for my house. We had breakfast down stairs a bunch of good food. Something for everybody.

Came here after a long day of traveling and after finding out the I made a reservation for the wrong night at a different hotel. They had a room, the rate was very reasonable, and the room was very, very nice. It was also very clean and the hotel is conveniently located. Would stay here again in the future. Edit: Stayed here again for multiple nights before moving into my apartment. I accidentally left my toiletry bag in the bathroom after we left. I stopped by and let them know the situation and spoke with Michelle I believe? (probably have the wrong name). She had housecleaning check the cleaning carts and also the room we stayed in. Nothing was found. She asked for me to leave my cell # with her in case they found it. I left disappointed because my bag had my electric razor, regular razor, a few extra blades, my electric toothbrush, etc. The next day I got a call saying they found it, I stopped by and they had it ready for me at the front desk. Awesome customer service here — the entire front desk staff is incredibly helpful and this is where I'd recommend anyone to stay when in the area.

I came with the person who stayed the night. I only came in for a little while to change for a wedding and catch the shuttle with them. The location is off a frontage road to a highway, so it might be a little confusing in how to get in. The check in was super quick. The entire building is no smoking and very clean. The key card was a little finicky but we got it without needing a replacement. The room was clean and orderly. The shuttle was quick and safe. Overall, wonderful visit.

Went on Christmas night for dinner with my pops. Had the salmon with broccoli & fries. Quite delicious. The jack and ginger left much to be desired, tasted more like a jack and water. Overall a pleasant experience, and I'm thanks for the people working on Christmas who served us.

One star for friendly staff and one star for cleanliness. Missed the other 3 stars for a lame outdoor pool with no hot tub, no microwaves in the rooms and the 50$ per day fee for a 2lb Chihuahua is absurd. Caused us to leave our dog with a friend for our family vacation. We won't stay here again and we're done using hotwire because they hide information about extra fees and other charges from customers till you book a room and then it's too late to cancel or make changes.

Newly remodeled, very nice rooms. Has a nice sitting area separate from bedroom with microwave & mini fridge. Also has indoor pool & hot tub. Very friendly service.

I have had the best experience at this hotel compared to any other hotel I’ve stayed in. Extremely friendly, polite, and top of the line hosts, took care of any problem I had as soon as it was brought to their attention. And the restaurant that’s connected to the hotel continues the experience with the same too of the line care with amazing food and quick service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Also the rooms are amazing too, very clean and well kept. Well done to all of you at this location.

The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. I feel like they went out of their way to give me as much info as possible so that I could enjoy the Denver area to its fullest! The rooms were very well kept, clean and the presentation was almost perfect. Great location, great price and great staff!

Stayed here while I was in Denver for a company program. Staff was very friendly. Accommodations were great. Rooms are very comfortable. In house restaurant has excellent food and service.

They even have a bar and grill attached which made it really easy to get a quick bite. The rooms were so clean and the beds were beyond comfy. We stayed there for our honeymoon suite and it was amazing. We had to use the shuttle and the drivers were so nice and professional. I could not have been happier with this hotel for my wedding weekend!

Great place friendly place great food if it's not done by the biget chef that is strung out the kitchen staff and wait staff work hard the 3 people who work the banquet are caring hard workers as well I have it 3 stars if the head chef wasn't their it would be 5 stars with out a thought.

Had a great stay rooms were very nice. Except if I could give two seperate ratings I would. 5 starts for the hotel and no stars for the restaurant. Exception to the host Courtney who was very apologetic and made sure we had an exceptional local place to eat after we left. Even greeted us when we arrived back at the Hotel and apologized again for another employee. The bar tender who I didn't even get his name greeted us with" you cant bring that Gatorade in this restaurant" and was completely rude to us. I could not even believe as a Holiday Inn guest I would be treated so rudely. My Gatorade was almost finished and was planning on getting a drink in the Bar so this seemed very out of his way to be rude. Hope to see improvements next time I stay in September.

Went for Dart Drone training. It was adequate. Just wish they provided Wi-Fi password freely for anyone doing business there. The Bar and grill was actually quite good.

It's a beautiful hotel. We stayed a few nights and we were treated very well by all the employees. For us it's located perfectly. And a good beakfast to start the day. I checked for bed bugs and none! Our room was clean and well set up.

The rooms are freshly updated and modern. I've stayed here several times over the last 3 years and the staff has always been professional yet personal. Great hotel! Dont hesitate to book a room.

Wasn't bad, Blake checked me in and had a great personality. He did warn me about the construction going on with is understandable, but it was pretty loud. I woke up at 2am to use the bathroom and you can notice how much light comes in cause the door wasn't sealed very well. But otherwise wasn't bad, used there restaurant in the hotel and food wasn't worth your money, paid $25 for a steak that had no flavor.

The room I was in was clean and comfortable, but the Wi-Fi barely works, and the mini fridge did not work at all. The staff is friendly and the attached restaurant is decent, but the prices are too high.

The meeting room was a bit humid, but the furnishings and room set-up were great for our needs. The hotel provided fresh-baked cookies, which was a nice touch. The conference next to ours was loud at times, but our room was quiet while the doors to the room were closed. Front desk staff were friendly and professional, and very knowledgeable. I was just an attendee, but if I'd been in a position to decide, this venue would be on my "short list" of choices.

I chose this hotel because online it looked great. Nice and modern exterior and lobby and the rooms looked good. We got there and really liked it on first impression, going up to our room we realized they gave the exterior and lobby a face lift. So it's a little outdated but nothing bad, rooms were clean and had a partial view of the Rockies. The lack of free breakfast holds it back a star but, If you're looking for a place with decent rates and a comfortable bed then you can't go wrong with this place.

We had dinner and drinks at the grill located inside the hotel. We had amazing service, and the food exceeded our expectations. Would most definitely recommend.

I would've of given it 5 star rating however I suggest if you have children staying here may be inconvenient only because there isn't free breakfast available. I'm in the middle of a move… winter storm outside and my children have a snow day. My husband has to switch our hotel to across the street because of this. The hotel across the street does and they're CHEAPER as well! Not sure what happened there. So here's to checking out at 11 to tread in the snow across the street to have something to munch on tomorrow morning. The rate seems ridiculous… look elsewhere if time permits. Also… you would think with this day in age there would be more outlets to plug in electronics. Had the hardest time charging my laptop and cell phone with one outlet. The one they provided in the room on the lamp doesn't work!

We used the hotel for a catered event. The setup was very nice, the food was good but a little slow coming out. The staff was on top of cleaning up dirty dishes and very professional. I was quite annoyed they wouldn't let us have the leftover food, as it was all paid for! Such a waste!

Got in late last night and was woken up to a very loud drilling sound. Called the front desk and they said they were having rennovations. Wish they would've told us when we checked in I would've stayed somewhere else!

Good sized room. The bed was awesome. Bathroom was outdated but clean and comfortable.

$181 (king n/s) with continental breakfast. The hotel lobby has a very strong smell of bleach or cleaning solution when you walk in. The check in staff is pleasant and put us in que for the next available room as we were two hours prior to check in time which is 4pm. The room had a strong odor of pet urine. When I went to the front desk to ask if pets had been in the room, they said they didn't believe so, however you could see stains on the carpet and the smell was obvious. They offered air freshener — that explains why the hotel smells like one big febreeze/Clorox bottle. The bed was very comfortable> THE NOISE — you can hear everything from your neighbor shutting the door, people talking in the hallway, people talking six floors down in the parking lot, highway traffic. I heard the paper delivery person burp outside my door. I am not offended that someone burped — just that the hotel is designed poorly in regards to noise. The fSports Bar in the hotel is just ok, typical Applebee's type menu stuff. The staff there is very nice and they do have a happy hour. I stay at Holiday In Express locations often and much prefer the newer, streamline version of those. The one in Longmont, CO is VERY GOOD. It was just as much my mistake to go with one of the "older" Holiday Inn's rather than look for something newer and fresher. So if you like that old Holiday Inn Conference Center kind of hotel — this is for you. Otherwise I suggest finding something a little more updated.

It had a decent hot tub. However goodluck using the Internet for ANYTHING at all during any time after 5 or 6pm till 2am. I was going to give a better rating but the fact that I'm writing this over 4g is infuriating.

I stayed here for a conference for my job for three nights. The staff were friendly at the front desk and had no problems until my second night at the hotel. I received complimentary breakfast with my stay and food was good until I had a very rude server make a comment to me. It was a self serve breakfast and I had left my dirty plates on the table so I could get clean ones. As I was coming back to the table the server says "didn't your mama tell you its rude to use more plates to get food''. He was trying to make a joke but it was very rude and there was at least 7 other people next to me. Very uncomfortable. I didn't feel the need to make a seen because he was totally out of line to a customer, so I talked to the manager down stairs about the incident. She was very friendly and said it will be addressed immediately, she offered to give me a free dinner pass. I stated to her I never do this stuff but It was very rude what happend It will probably be addressed but nothing will happen to him. All in all, I wont be eating breakfast there on my last day and wont be recommending staying at this Holiday Inn. It has left a bad impression on me. I recommend that hotel management hire qualified customer service staff.

We were married at Red Rocks in April 2015 and chose Holiday Inn Lakewood as our base of operations. The location is ideal, set between Downtown Denver and Red Rocks with easy access to the mountains and highways for daytrips. The building and rooms are very clean and updated. The staff was amazing and catered to our every need. They were extremely nice and attentive to our family and friends who were also stay there. The bar and grill staff were also very nice and helpful and the food was fresh and delicious. Thanks to the whole staff for making the time around our special day so pleasant. We will be staying here on our next trip to the area. -Brian and Gemma.

Had a generally good experience staying here for 5 days during my destination wedding October 2014. The rooms were clean and staff was nice. The only bad thing was the hot tub was way too hot, burned our skin, and the hotel staff could not (would*? not) change the temperature. It was unbearable to sit down in, and we tried just our feet for a little while, but even that was difficult and our skin turned red. We just wanted to relax and have some hang out time to de-stress from wedding planning/events. Other than that, the stay was pleasant.

Had the unfortunate chance to spend 3 weeks here. Had to fight to get a microwave in my room that you could find in any other hotel/motel for free. If you plan on using the internet for anything other than checking email/facebook, youre going to have a bad time. Ill never use another holiday inn if I can avoid it.

I stay at an IHG property at least 2 to 4 times a week. I experienced some of the worst customer service at this location of any location I stayed at the past year. The attendants at the front desk were rude. The facility was understaffed and our room was not ready until sometime after 5. There was an event at the hotel that night and the following morning, the parking lot was littered with liquor bottles. An event at the hotel should not come as a determent to other customers who also have reservations. Subsequent complaints to the GM brought no response what so ever. The are other hotel options in the immediate area, even right next door, so I strongly advise to skip this location and look at them instead.

Our stay at Holiday INN Lakewood was absolutely fantastic. The Staff treated us very good. The Room was clean amenities we didn't expect. Thanks to the whole staff at Holiday Inn.
