Fantastic place to stay. Everyone is so friendly. It is our second time staying here, and it definitely will not be our last. This trip, they upgraded us to the master suite. It is absolutely amazing! It has a great view from the balcony and is close to everything… the beach, the restaurants, shopping. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend this place.

Living room was very spacious and well appointed.

Personnel at front desk is very nice and helpful — we felt welcomed. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. It is across the street from the beach.

The young man I encountered while checking in was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Made me feel relaxed and welcomed. The rooms were spotless and so comfy with the robes they provided. The view of the harbor was amazing as we
watched the sunset. They are monitoring the pool, safety first. We spent about 45 minutes there. Perfect time spent at the pool. We received two vouchers for paddle boarding or kayaking for the next day. Highly recommend it. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Luxurious bedding, wonderful sleep. When checking out we encountered another wonderful staff member so sweet and professional. Highly, highly highly recommend!

This hotel was fabulous! Beautiful rooms, great balconies with relaxing outdoor furniture overlooking a beautifully landscaped courtyard. Breakfast was fresh every day, coffee always available and unlimited wine & cheese everyday between 5-7pm. On top of this a beautiful pool and large hot tub open til 11 pm… bring your wine and cheese while you relax. Staff was outstanding and beach and restaurants just steps away. A++

Love this place! Very welcoming, staff top notch. Our room on 3rd floor, overlooking the marina and beach fantastic. Room was very nice. Pillows suck though.

Great location, nice rooms, but most of all the staff is outstanding! We got back late one night and there wasn't any parking. We ask the concierge were else we could park close by, he said he would move his car so we park. Great service! Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel in a great location. Beautiful rooms, however, the breakfast is very sparse and in the same room as the lobby… The price is quite high…

Nice staff. Great view, great price and location. Wine and cheese was served from 5 to 7pm. I would stay here again and it's kid friendly. Bed was comfortable and ac was cool. The best part is we got into town a bit ahead of schedule and they allowed early check in.

Staff is amazing! Pool area lovely. The breakfast totally ok. Nice treat with complimentary wine, cheese and crackers in the evening. Large rooms with comfy and large beds. Wifi fast and reliable. Nice location by the beach. It doesn’t get any better!

Staff was very nice. The hotel itself is clearly older, but they've taken good care of it. The room felt very spacious compared to modern hotels. They have ice machines! The room got super cold too (as we intended). Also, it's literally across the street from the beach. There number of things within walking distance to this place is quite high. I would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant room and a handy pool for a quick dip before bed. A little Wales from slate street but handy for the beach.

Nice rooms, great location minutes feom the main local stores and restaurants. Heated pool and great jacuzi. Breakfast and happy hour served daily.

Very helpful front desk ppl. Breakfast could be improved with addition of omelette or poached egg, juice is little on the bitter side, rest is fine. Wines served complimentary in early evening are of very superior quality. Garlic-cheese-spread found exceptionally good. Over all we had a wonderful stay. We’re in room 112

Very very nice place to stay and rest in Santa Barbara! Nice hot tub and pool, good breakfast (simple but enough food), wine and snacks in the afternoon, very friendly stuff — we recommend to anyone:)

Rm 105 in courtyard: Staff has been awesome. Joseph and Dalton are stellar. No problems there. Free wine, cheese and crackers from 5-7pm. Coffee/tea are available 24/7. Good breakfast. Room is small but modern which is nice. It's older so the carpet could be shampooed and tile scrubbed. It feels a little dirty and the cracks and crevices could use some attention. When I see those things not being addresssed it makes me wonder about other things… There was also a musty smell in our room. The walls are thin and you hear everything around you. Someone taking a shower in the morning was SO LOUD. Also the sound in the courtyard is very loud so you easily hear people talking in your room at very early and late hours. Doors shutting are also very loud. Ugh! We are on the bottom floor and the sound above us is annoying too. We paid $226 or something around that and it wasn't prime season. I wouldn't even consider coming here in the summer because if you did need to sleep, good luck, people would be coming back late at night, loud, not cool! We are across the street from the beach so I think that is why people gladly pay it but I wish it was WAY CLEANER and quieter! We won't be returning… we are dissapointed because the staff is awesome!

Very expensive for one night. The breakfast is very poor. It is very cute, but not worth it.

We stayed here one night but wish we had longer! We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone else who will be staying in the area. Great location, spacious room, comfy beds with quality bedding, nice pool/hot tub area, love the evening wine & cheese and the breakfast was great too. Friendly staff! Great little gem!

There are a ton of motels/inns in Santa Barbara, and I wouldn't even bother looking into any others. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They found us a room last minute and made our stay enjoyable. Great pool and hot tub and you can't beat the location, 30 seconds from the beach. I know where I am staying next time I'm in Santa Barbara.

This was a nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and we're happy to upgrade me, but it was taken unfortunately. The room was quaint and comfy. The bath was a bit dirty, but nothing to stop me from enjoying the tub. Enjoyed it and would go again.

We stayed at the West Beach Inn after being evacuated during the Thomas Fire. We were pleasantly surprised with the discount they were giving to evacuees and the room was great. The staff was top-notch and very accomodating about our unsettled schedule since we had no idea when we could go home. The location is great and we really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

This place is awesome. They are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are wonderful. We can recommend choose if you can a room with garden view. The pools are wonderful maintained. You are located directly with view to the harbor and beach. Great breakfast we didn't missed anything. Check in is 4pm so check out is 12pm, which was perfect for us. All in all 10 out of 10points.

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms aren't overly large and you can tell they've been recently renovated. Parking, continental breakfast and Wi-Fi were all free. We stayed here the night the wildfire broke out near Ventura, so the power was out in Santa Barbara for most of the evening and night. Overall a nice place to stay, great location and walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops.

The rooms were honestly beautifully maintained and the location was also very nice. On top of that this location provides complementary breakfast as well as wine and cheese sampling every night, also free. One of the besr hotels I've stayed at for sure.

Loved this place — enjoyed my coffee on the semi private patio off my room, pool and hot tub awesome! Beautiful grounds and lovely people — definitely repeating this stay if ever back in the area! Thank you!

Quiet little place. They had a wine and cheese bar at night, full breakfast in the morning. Wonderful staff, fun to talk with and very informative about the area. Only compliant was the pillows were a little hard to sleep with, my neck was killing me in the morning.

Our stay was great. Close to the beach. Lobby agents are informative and attentive.

A great hotel. We were able to book two rooms next to each other and had 0 problems being a sometimes rowdy bachelorette party. The staff was great! Complimentary wine and cheese every night from 5-7pm was a nice treat! Right across the street from the beach!

Nice hotel that's not too large for the employees to offer personal attention. Very friendly staff, nice rooms, located directly across from the beach, free parking, free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and happy hour. Short distance from Stearn's Wharf. City shuttle departs from Stearn's Wharf to downtown Santa Barbara.

Great pool and seperate hot tub with music, complimentary breakfast, free parking for the hotel guest. Beach front but nice and quite. We love it.

Bath suite was very spacious and they had a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. The bathroom was very roomy and they had extra towels available for use. The staff was very friendly and they have breakfast and wine and cheese in the evening everyday. The only complaint I had was that the bathroom sink was very tiny.

Absolutely amazing little hotel. Free parking, free wine and cheese in the evenings. Free continental breakfast. Walking distance to wharf and state street. I don't think we would stay anywhere else in SB when in town. Staff was amazing!

Very nice, small hotel — it should be a room with garden view booked. It is however not a bargain – however buffet breakfast as well as a small cheese and wine in the afternoon including is
Wi-Fi and parking are also included. Wi-Fi works very well.

Comfortable beds, great TV channel selection, including HBO, and the location was great, just in front of the beach. Parking was plentiful, too.

Sits nicely opposite the harbour, it's right next to the main road but there's no avoiding that really. Make sure you get a room with a harbour/sea view.

Perfect location to explore Santa Barbara. Room was adequate;modern and comfortable. Great pool and hot tub. Breakfast was fine. I would stay there again.
