Their pool is closed, their restaurant is closed & their Wi-Fi don't work. The person in the office was soo unhelpful too. Very disappointed in the hotel that's forsure.

Ask for Vicky or Helen. They take good care of us. Everyone here is friendly.

Rude check in. Loud nose all night from the train next door. Broken toilet kept running all night. Broken heater turned off after a few minutes of being on. No sleep due to everything. White soap scum and mold in the bathroom so we didn’t shower since we didn’t have sandals. Absolutely no customer service. Rogers lies about a refund and Angie lied about managers going to the room to address the issues. Horrible. Do not recommend at all.

This place had the most amazing customer service to begin our experience here. The breakfast was great and the grounds were beautiful and clean. Highly recommend!

I love that the hotel provides shuttle service from and to the airport. Their customer service is great. The room I was given was wonderful. It was like a little apartment. I thought it was in a great location. I'm very please with selecting the hotel. Great choice.

Ver clean and comfortable rooms. Near the airport, with an efficient and punctual shuttle van. Front desk staff was quick and efficient. Substantial complimentary cold breakfast available starting 4:30 am. I would have given it 5 stars if a wall-mounted hair dryer was installed in the bathroom, and if the coffee in the restaurant (as well as the room) was better. Presently, the coffee is weak and tasteless…

This hotel has always been fine and part of our travel experience. They continue to raise their prices while at the same time giving you less. We use the Park and Fly program which used to include 14 days of parking which is perfect for a two week trip. Now they only include ten and you re charged fifteen dollars for each additional night. When you factor in the total cost it just became a wash to fly from our home airport. We feel a little sad to cross them off of our list.

We had a great stay before our early AM flight. Shuttle was on time and quick. Room was in the central section, and a bit dated, but clean and completely adequate. A great place to turn in early for our crack of dawn flight. Dinner at the on site restaurant was good, really excellent service from Ron, the server/manager.

The location is nice. If you plan on spending some time in San Francisco, it's not too far and a much cheaper alternative. Decent free breakfast, free parking, easy to find. The room is comfortable and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. It's super close to the airport, which is very convenient.

I really don't understand the negative reviews. I was greeted immediately by the front desk host before I had completely wheeled my suitcase through the door. The room was clean and well lit. Plenty of space. Cafe on-site and free shuttle to and from the airport. I didn't realize the hotel was close to train tracks, but it's not like the hotel moved prior to my arrival. The TV channels were limited and a little grainy, and my door have about an inch gap from the bottom of the door to the floor. Also, they had two arm chairs and a table situated in front of the air conditioner which I feel could really block proper cooling of the room; so I moved them. All in all, though, very friendly, warm and family-friendly atmosphere (even though I was traveling alone) and many Uber drivers in the area. I would 100% stay here again.

El Rancho Inn is my home away from home when I need to get to the airport and have someone look after my car. I am so thankful for them and look forward to staying with them every time. I always trust they will get me to the airport and pick me up. I have used this facility numerous times and have never been disappointed! Thank you so much El Rancho Inn. You have it figured out beautifully.

We are very pleased with the accommodations at this inn. We have stayed there a few times & always have been pleased. The staff has always been accommodating & the breakfast is nice. Cute rooms. This last time was disappointing because when we picked up our car it had a dent in back door. I did not report it to them at the time & think I should have, it was under their care for almost 2 weeks.

It's very pretty here. Had 2 big beds, nice bathroom, door to separate shower & toilet, big mirror with good lighting, and shutter blinds in the window. It's an outside hotel, but thankfully they still have elevators in addition to the stairs. They serve continental breakfast, there's a fountain in front. It's also conveniently located not to far from SFO. They have complementary shuttles to the airport as well. I'd def recommend it.

Hassle free stay, gorgeous pool & patio area, restaurant/ bar on site. Clean room and comfy bed & pillows. Loved it and will use for my next visits.

I had originally booked my room with third party agency but was not informed of the park and fly option for this hotel. Staff helped me to cancel my original reservation rebook the room with parking privilege. All done in just minutes. Room was spacious bed comfortable very Modern plan on staying here again when I have to travel.

As an airport hotel, a real recommendation. The room is quite completely complete, clean and even atmospherically quite nice. Breakfast meets American standards. One might even consider the hotel as a hotel for San Francisco itself, however, would have to accept long distances to the city.

We needed a room for one night prior to an early morning flight out of SFO. The hotel was conveniently located and the bed was quite comfortable. The only complaint I have is that I requested a quiet room since we had to get up at 3am and we were placed in the room directly beside the stairs. People coming and going was a bit noisy, but it was just one night. We would stay here again. I would definitely ask for a room away from the stairs.

El Rancho Best Western provides an outstanding service to travelers who need a place to say before flying out and a safe place to leave their vehicle. The staff is very professional, quite friendly, and on the several times we have used the sleep/park & fly service we have never had a single glitch arise. It has a nice restaurant, a good morning breakfast for travelers, clean rooms, and it's right across the street from SFO.

A nice older style quaint hotel — with an "El Rancho Inn" feel and decor. (not a typical Best Western) Feels like being in Mexico in the middle of San Francisco. Rooms are a bit on the small side but are well looked after. Pool would be a bit small for adults wanting to swim but perfect for kids playing.

The staff was friendly & the hotel was convenient as it was located near SFO. We stayed only one night & the hotel shuttle service was definitely an advantage. We needed to use it at 3 am the next morning & it picked us up right at our room. The room was located a fair distance away from the main lobby & this was helpful for the early morning pickup. The room itself was plain, but clean. The only complaint that we had was that there was a large gap under the outside room door & caused the room to be drafty. We rolled up one of the bath towels & put it up against the door which helped to keep it warmer. In general, I would say that it was adequate for the one night that we stayed there.

The rooms are clean and functional. It would not be bad to renovate the furniture once. For a short trip but recommended.

For an airport hotel this one was clean, efficient and in a good area. There were places within walking distance to eat/shop. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were impressed that the airport shuttle drove to each room for guests to load luggage at their door versus dragging luggage to the front lobby. Convenient!

The staff was wonderful. They gave great directions for returning the rental car, the cheapest filling station, and return to the hotel. The driver of the shuttle was on time, and worked with precision. The restaurant offered a great selection at a good price. It also had a relaxing atmosphere. This is an older hotel, so do not expect "new and modern" touches. But if you want friendly and prompt service, next to the SFO airport, this is a great option. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were not neck breakers. Just right. We will use this hotel again on a return trip.

I am the president of a nonprofit — Anglicans for Life. We are based out of Pittsburgh, PA and we participate in the Walk for Life in San Francisco every January. This year, we decided to hold an event the night prior for our participants. We used the El Rancho Inn's Terrace Cafe, bar, banquet room, hotel rooms, and shuttle. Gail and Michael were more than accommodating to all of our needs. It's a great location — close to the airport with free transport there, close access to the BART system that takes you into downtown San Fran. Lots of ubers and taxis for all your transportation needs! All of our guests were pleased with the service and we 10/10 would use the facility again. The Best Western El Rancho Inn provided stellar event execution for our event in conjunction with the Walk for Life in San Francisco. They provided accommodations for travel, dining, technology, room rates, and hospitality. Consider having them host your event at the Terrace Cafe and take advantage of their great staff. It's a 2 story motel style with stair go up to the room from both side. Ask for room near main office when check in because am traveling alone she give me room all the way back at 500 building, have to walk around 2 blocks away from the office. Go back to ask for change of room because do not feel safe to stay at the back facing construction company. Breakfast is good and plentiful. But its in middle building so if there is rain you might get wet. Also walk in the dark if you have early flight. This motel is more suitable for people with car.

Needed a hotel close to the San Francisco airport. Astounded by the costs of nearby airport hotels! We booked the Best Western Plus El Rancho Inn. Room was immaculate and had everything one would need. Dinner at the Terrace Restaurant was a total surprise — — really delicious and a very attentive and kind serving staff. Shuttle was perfect… even at 4:30AM! Yes, I would stay again and will recommend.

I’ve stayed here several times on long layovers and it never disappoints. I’d suggest asking for a room in the front half of the large facility because the train runs along the back of the hotel and is noisy — but not a dealbreaker. The shuttle drivers, front-desk, food service and cleaning crew are friendly. The neighborhood is vibrant and safe. All thumbs up from me.

Where do I start or how do I start… First, got the last building on the premises so had to walk all the way, got the keys which were unactivated, next lamp not working, toilet commode shaking, … Sorry but can't list some more here… Had to shift to other room after all this. Anyway bad experience of all the Best Western hotel's we stayed… And I have to stay one more day …

Hotel was great staff very friendly. Love that you can leave car and they transport you to airport. When we got back after midnight driver had keys to room and car. We got dropped off in front of room and car was already there. Awesome place to stay.

Comfortable Suite with 2 bedrooms for a family of 4 people. Sweet breakfast Buffet with good pastries. Free Airport shuttle. A quarter of an hour on foot to get to the BART station, the fast train leading to the lively quays of San Francisco.

Nice and homely place to stay. Very helpful front desk, friendly and warm. Attendants are very helpful although some were a little compromised on English but made up with enthusiasm to help and did so. Cafe too has a limited menu with tasty offerings. Morning breakfast and takeaways for early departees was a treat and a nice gesture on the part of management. Check-out is no hassle. And airport transfers available every half hour. All in all pleasant budget stay.

This is a great property at a very fair price in the SF area. The neighborhood has lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance and BART to SF is close and easy. The property is clean, especially the bathroom. I like having a mini fridge too. The hot tub was a nice feature. This was the best breakfast in terms of hours of operation and convenience. Well done. Will stay here again.

Second Best Western I test in California and second time I get a room at the top of the industrial laundry. This one combines the noise pollution of the airport, the highway as well as the railway which honks at every passage.

I enjoyed my stay! I hope the new managing company will reduce the price of the room rates… Too MUCH! The breakfast scones were yummy. The staff are the best. They make the stay all worth while!

Setting up room blocks was easy and the junior suite is so nice and perfect for 3 women getting ready for a wedding. The bed is very comfortable and linens clean. The bathroom was a little strange with an older style tiling but everything else was updated which was fine to me. It was just more important that it was clean. Plenty of towels. The pillows have hard and soft embroidered on them which a few of my guests had liked. Overall great quality, price, and customer service. Thank you!

We were taking a flight out to the UK the next morning. The Best Western's accommodations were lovely, staff was extremely helpful, even solving a big problem for us as we had inadvertently made our reservations for a hotel in a different city. They quickly made new arrangements for us, got us into our rooms, arranged for storage for the car, and transported us to the airport, and then back to the hotel after we got back into the US to pick up our car. They handled everything expertly, and professionally! Thank you! We had a wonderful stay!

It's an older hotel. It has direct access to outside so if it's rainy you'll most likely won't get a hid from it depending on where you are. It was musky… and depending on the front desk you get some can be rude. With that said, it's still decent. What seems like fresh sheets and two types of pillows, firm and soft. There is also a very VERY limited free breakfast but it's free. They have a bar/restaurant walking distance, and near the pool. The pool seemed to be kept well… also has a gym. Gym is a little rundown but the equipment is sufficient enough. Also free shuttle to and from airport is nice. So overall it's a good hotel, just nothing grand. And same with the service. Some people are just grumpy… and others at least smile.

The Best Western El Rancho, Milbrae CA is THE BEST place to stay in the great SF area! Whether on a business trip or vacation, the staff is always most accommodating of the needs of their guests. It is a safe, comfortable, clean and well run facility. The grounds are very pleasant, including a nice outdoor pool and pleasant areas for outdoor seating. The restaurant and bar and well run and conveniently located. I highly recommend this facility without reservation! Carole B. A happy business guest.

They have a long term parking arrangement for Californians flying elsewhere in the country. Fits exactly what you need for where it is.

We needed a place close to San Francisco airport for an early morning flight. This is the second time we have stayed here for that purpose. It is very close to the airport and offers shuttle service. The staff is very courteous and professional. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and there is a restaurant/lounge on the property. All in all it is a big win/win situation! Price is also very reasonable. I would highly recommend.

Exceptional staff. I wish half stars existed. The staff deserves four, the property does not. Nice continental breakfast. Rooms are little on the small side, their bathrooms even smaller. I'm a size 10 and had difficulty closing the door when I wanted to use the restroom. Also, the windows don't open for fresh air. It's acceptable for a great price line price, convenient location and 24/7 shuttle to airport/Bart. Great pool with what seems to be a pretty awesome bar at night.

Nice, quaint and, most importantly, clean hotel. It reminded me of roadside luxury motels from bygone days. The restaurant was excellent and the bar/lounge seemed popular at cocktail time. Easy check-in and check-out and fairly convenient to the SFO airport. We started and ended our vacation there and will definitely go back should we ever find our way to San Francisco in the future.

Hotel was clean and room in good working order. That was the only good part. Service was lacking, asked for a toothbrush and front desk said they'd bring it to our room but it never arrived. I found the front desk to be cold and unfriendly nobody even smiled, seemed bothered by the guests. No complementary Breakfast, front desk points you to their overpriced on-site restaurant instead. I have stayed at less expensive Hotels and received Free Breakfast. I have received better service from a Hampton Inn on the blue tier than Best Western on Their Diamond level!

This is the "GO TO" motel when you're travelling in and out of SFO. We were gone a total of 12 days. Left our car and took off for a holiday. The shuttle wait was about 10 min. After calling for a pick-up. Taken right to our door of the room. Clean, nicely appointed, comfy beds, immaculate bathroom. As a former travel agent, I've booked this hotel for clients — 30 years ago — and it is a treasure. Nice continental breakfast available, also. Thumbs up!

There is a large parking lot to park. It's next to the airport. It's pretty quiet, unless we're ready for the railroad track.

I love this place. We have stayed many times. Always nice rooms, good food, every person there are so friendly. We do the fly and sleep when we travel to Germany. I never have to worry about our vehicle.

Excellent reception, excellent points of reference, close to the means of transport metropolitan, important thing for me have Deplian and topographic maps in all languages also in Italian, saving quality price thanks.

You can park your car, catch a shuttle to or from airport or drive in. Excellent breakfast and food. Retro tiles in bath so cute… Comfy beds, nice linens and big enough towels. Oh and the staff is great.

Good location. Bad breakfast snacks. Coffee is worse. Comfortable rooms. Rooms have fridge and coffee. If you don't take coffee and avoid the breakfast, then you will find this an excellent value. Service is friendly with free shuttle to airport.

Clean rooms and a good service at the registration. Quit loud because of the trains passing nearby and many guests arriving from the airport during the night. Breakfast is normal and could be better. Restaurant for dinner is good.

Large room, very clean appearing. Staff was friendly, and helped explain the onsite parking procedures. My one complain is that after getting into the room I located a BEDBUG crawling on the white sheet. Needless to say I couldn't sleep well the rest of the night fearing I was going to be eaten alive. I wasn't bit and never saw any others. I notified staff early the next morning who provided a refund for the room.

A reasonably good inn, somewhat on the expensive side. The room had plenty of space, was clean and had a nice bathroom. A plus is that the Inn also offers a restaurant and bar. The train track is rather close and is very easily to be heard in the rooms.

Good hotel a fair bit south of SF. Good Wi-Fi and breakfast. BUT there is a train running by just outside the window several times an hour, twenty-four seven. This train ALWAYS honks a huge harmonica-sounding horn just outside the hotel for some reason. Sensitive people will not be able to sleep, I promise! Luckily I'm not senstitve.
