Chose this location due to how close it was to the airport. We had great experience with the staff. The room was very clean. Shuttle came every 30 minutes to take you to the airport. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is wanting to stay close to the airport for any reason.

Great value. Has all the important things you need in your room. Was clean and tidy. It's nothing fancy by any stretch and there is not much in terms of amenities beyond the features of the room but it definitely gets the job done. The rooms are full of useful technology.

They let me check in two hours early. Nice and clean. Very close to SFO but I did not hear any jet noise. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was nicely laid out with plenty of outlets/plugs to charge your phones, tablets and laptops. Overall, it is a great place and worth every penny.

The pictures looked better than the actual place. Thought it was a hotel. Not a motel. Didn’t realize it was outside. Breakfast was decent. The room we stayed at definitely needed some work… you can also just tell an old and cheaper place based on the style and furnishing too. Our toilet stopped flushing the next morning and they did fix it before we came back that night, so I’ll give them credit for that. I just had higher expectations based on the price, pictures, and other reviews but I was disappointed.

One of the best places I've been to in a long time. It didn't matter if it was in the middle of the night or the middle of the day the staff was always there with smiling faces happy to help. Very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend them. We will definitely be going there again.

This place was quite unassuming upon arrival but the place was excellent! The rooms were clean, comfy and very nice! The customer service was excellent and attentive. Room service was great. The cable selection was good as well. The evening wine hour was a great way to settle down for the evening after touring the area. The plants and courtyard were immaculate. The breakfast had a nice array of things to choose from especially for the price. I would recommend going earlier as they don’t seem to restock it after 8:30. It was also nice that it was close to some very excellent restaurants.

Extremely bad motel. Could hear people walking upstairs very loud. People were not partying just very thin floor. Also, interior in shabby condition. Carpet have piece ripped out to concrete flooring. Shower not drain for long time when showering. Water build up! Food in morning just for people really hungry. Definitely not better than just ordinary Diner breakfast. Don't pay for something cheap rather than for a few dollars more have much better accommodations!

Quaint bed and breakfast-like feel. 2 Tesla chargers and 1 regular “J” plug for other EVs. The beds were super comfy and the rooms are clean. We checked in on a Saturday afternoon and wine was served at the lobby/breakfast bar with some cheese and chips very classy! We’re planning our next stay. So happy that this quaint hotel has a destination Tesla charger its really a treat!

The location is nice. It is very close to the airport and downtown Millbrae so you can quickly drive to a nice restaurant or grocery store.

This area is safe and the room is clean. The breakfast is wonderful and the location is nice, very easy to go San Francisco and everywhere else.

Close to SFO but quiet. Comfy, well-equipped rooms, nice interiors, rain shower. Great value.

Very comfortable, clean and rich breakfast, the only thing is that the very small rooms.

There were little things that surprised and delighted me. I loved the bright light in the bathroom. I loved that the small chocolate left by the bed was with mint. The staff were very helpful. Yes I would definitely stay again.

Very clean, quiet, comfortable room. The area is great. Fast food, walgreens and highways are close by. 40 mins. To the piers and golden-gate area. Would definitely stay again!

Great little place we chose for our last night out of San Fracisco! The woman at the front desk last night when we checked is was stellar. Her charm and freindliness was what everyone wants when on vacation but seldom sees. Thank you for your hospitality! The room was great too. 5 stars from us!

Millwood Inn and suites in Millbrae was a very good experience. The staff was heloful, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast selection was excellent. I recommend Millwood Inn.

Stayed here last minute. Guy at the desk was friendly and the rooms are surprisingly nice. Much nicer inside than out. Shuttle was in time and breakfast was OK.

Everything was perfect, except for the soaps. They were very perfumed, to the point of being off-putting. All else was excellent. Clean, friendly, efficient, spotless. We'd stay there again.

Really enjoyed a five day stay here. It's really well run and the rooms are lovely. Elemis products in the bathroom as well as modern features in the rooms. The breakfast was the best that we have experienced during our time in the USA — lots of options and piping hot too. They also had a complimentary wine hour with coffee and nibbles which was a great touch to start the evening. The gym is well equipped with free weights, a multi purpose cable machine and 3 different pieces of cardio equipment. Again the equipment was modern. Overall an amazing stay. The free shuttle was well run and the BART station and local Safeway were both walkable. There are also plenty of outlets nearby for food etc.

Great stay as always. We have stayed here many time and always enjoy it. Clean, quiet room, great breakfast.

It was good enough for the night. Room was small but clean. Doors open to the outside but they do have a secured entrance. Had dinner delivered and when I went looking for the driver (who was at the wrong location) there was a maintenance man asking if he could help me. Very nice. Went out of his way to find me when the driver arrived too. Only issue that was a concern was lack of extra lock on the door. See picture.

This is a great place to stay while visiting San Francisco. Beyond the room being clean and quiet, the bed comfortable, and parking and breakfast included, the staff are friendly and the decor is welcoming and spa-like. I can highly recommend it.

The location is convenient to the airport, but it's not a nice location. The room is fairly will updated but it smells a little funky. The walls and floors are thin, so bring done earplugs if your sensitive to sound. The rates are decent, so it's worth it.

Newly remodeled, the accommodations were great including new amenities for charging and using electronics. They even had a DVD player in the room. Breakfast was above average as well. I regret that we could not be there for the wine hour at 5:30!

An older motel building that has been well refurbished, with clean, well-equipped rooms (including little things like bedside lamps with power sockets easily accessible on them), and a comfy bed.

Although it is a small place, the interior is decorated nice and comfortable. It is clean and delightful to stay. Close to the BART station and is easy to commute to the city.

Might be Ok for one night. Expensive and nothing special. Breakfast is not good and not fresh. Breakfast room very small for to many guests. Something what is good: — parking is available — free Shuttle to the airport.

It is a nice place. I had one of the re-modeled rooms. They added a plexiglass wall in front of the rooms for security.

Nice little motel that has been upgraded from the 50's to a newer modern establishment. Nice amenities and free breakfast was good. Would have been 5 stars If the room was $100 less a night. Not worth $273 nightly.

Hotel is at a very convenient location. Rooms are big and clean …. Lady at the reception was sweet … breakfast was nice… and evening drinks were complimentary… had a pleasant time staying there last year… will come soon again.

Location was very convenient to the airport. Chose to stay here the night before my flight out of the city. Rooms have been recently remodeled and the bathrooms and beds are nice. Fridge and microwave in room. In house breakfast provided, similar to a Hampton Inn, but better quality. There were some premade mini omelettes that were quite nice, and they were kept warm in a cast iron pot on a portable burner which kept them more moist than traditional metal chafing dishes.

Very nice and comfortable. Clean and the help staff was so amazing. We had a little mess up but they ironed it all out nicely. It wasn't their fault. It was hotels. Com. Don't use them. Very quaint boutique hotel. Very well kept and reasonable prices for San Francisco.!

I was pleasantly surprised by this little hotel! While older, the rooms were clean and cozy. The bed was like a Westin Heavenly Bed with a deep mattress, crispy sheets and a lovely comforter. The body wash, lotion and hair products provided had a nice scent and I loved the "less waste" result of using big bottles. The 5:30 happy hour was very pleasant in offering local wines. Breakfast included the typical juices, pastries, sausage/bacon and coffees. I'm not a fan of powdered eggs with processed cheese, but the waffles were very tasty. My favorite part was the staff … they were all very friendly and helpful. Yes, I would stay there again!

Amazed at how nice this hotel room was when we were just looking for a cheap place near the airport. They have all the little things right, like great bathroom, a/c, tv, microwave and fridge, continental breakfast, and free parking.

I was a little skeptical of this hotel, based on the external appearance. But this hotel exceeds my expectations. I was expecting a motel experience but was delighted by the modern amenities and cleanliness of the room. This hotel is as good or better than any 3-star I've stayed at.

The property is an older one, however it appears to be very well-maintained. All of the on the property staff that I interacted with were very cordial and professional. The room was clean the beds were comfortable. This will be on my list of properties to stay in when I am in the area.

We picked this hotel because of it's proximity to the airport, and then were so pleasantly surprised to absolutely love the bed and the comforter. I have described my night's sleep at this hotel to my friends and family as feeling as if I had been "hugged by a cloud". The breakfast was also very good. I highly recommend this hotel!

For the price (excluding crazy taxes) I found this place to be clean, cozy, and conveniently located. Combined with a good breakfast, this exceeded my needs for my 1 day stay here.

Staff at the reception is rude and unhelpful. Everything you ask seems to be a burden on them and they do not hesitate showing so. A very disappointing experience …

Stayed night before last in Room 131 (first timer). Price reasonable, seemed clean. Close to the airport. Didn't like the fact the carpet is really dark as it kind of makes me think it doesn't get cleaned because it won't show dirt but no proof of that. I just prefer lighter carpeting. It's also a little worrisome they have this plexiglass safety wall all around the rooms. But, if this were all, I'd probably give it 3 stars. The big issue was the noise. Some road noise but also all night techno music (thump/thump/thump) seemingly from next door accompanied by what sounded like a porno movie being made. I was awakened at 2:30 and again at 4:00 a. M. By a women's very load moaning and the customary bumping of a bed (seemed like that anyway). I was prepared to write this off as an exhuberant or honeymoon couple but when I left early this a. M. I saw the room on that side (where I believe the noise was coming from) was labeled for "Authorized Use only". It wasn't a guest room! Wow! Anyway, it's just a one time stay for me.

We have been here many times. It is a quiet place, with adequate breakfast and reasonable price. Easy parking and easy access to the airport. Good Chinese food near within walking distance.

Rooms are small, but nice and comfortable. Big closet in the room, and the shower was good.

Not recommended for a solo female traveller — I was given a ground floor room (they had nothing else available) which opened onto a creepy car park. My curtains didn't close properly which was a bit scary. The room was basic and cold and the heating unit was so loud, I quickly turned it off. No plugs next to bed and a room so light and noisy (from the car park and nearby road) that I slept badly. The photos they've added really aren't realistic — I moved after the first night, partly because the location was completely wrong for me, but, in general, fine if you're doing a road trip and just need somewhere to stay, not ideal for more than one night.

The hotel itself is ok, I would say it’s a little better than a 2 star because of the interior fixtures. The real issue with this hotel is its lack of customer service, if you have any issues, don’t expect anyone will help you. We came to the hotel at 9pm with two young kids and lady at the front counter gave us a queen bed and was trying to charge us extra money to upgrade, even though I already have paid for 2 queens. The lady was like a robot and didn’t even care that a queen would not accommodate a family of 4. Next day when I complained to the manager, he said they are customer focused, but can’t explain why I had to sleep on a the floor of a dirty motel. I would stay far away from this dump; this place is like putting lipstick on a pig. The La Quinta inn across the street is way better and cheaper.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Small motel with very attentive staff and beautifully detailed rooms and outside area. They put a lot of care and thought into every detail. Close enough to the airport, downtown and the BART system. Great continental breakfast, too.

I stayed at the Millwood Inn and Suites this past week while visiting YouTube headquarters and was very pleased with the stay. The rooms were very affordable and are nice, clean, and comfortable — with excellent Wi-Fi, big LCD TV, HBO, etc. More than anything, the staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. When I realized that I was running late on my return to the airport, the staff rushed to get me a ride to the airport in time to catch my flight. I will definitely be staying at Millwood the next time that I'm in the area.

Stayed at this independent hotel on a couple of occasions and was very impressed. It looks like a motel from the outside, but the rooms are finished to a high standard with great attention to detail and super-comfy beds. It's far enough from SFO that aircraft noise isn't an issue, and there's a reliable shuttle service to/from the airport. Breakfast (included) was modest but included all the basics. The staff were also very friendly on every occasion I spoke to them, so in summary I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable stay near SFO.
