Myra is just awesome. Very helpful with restaurants in area and she even ordered a pizza and handled the delivery for me during my stay out here surfing and working off computer for oil field hydro testing. My step dads company ELECTRICLOR referred this place. Please be nice when staying here. It’s a very nice hotel and they will help you with any questions you may have. Very clean rooms. Very quiet. Coffee in the room. Picture is very clear on tv.

I arrived at this cool little hotel after a long flight from New Zealand. The property is very close to the airport and several restaurants, and has been extensively and exquisitely renovated. It emanates such a cool vibe. There is a lovely courtyard that you can just sit and read in, the rooms are comfortable and well appointed, and their public area has a wine machine and a very generous happy hour. The employees are nice and really friendly and helpful. I also met the owner, she came to pick me up at the airport when the shuttle was having issues, and she is fabulous as well. I will definitely be back here and highly recommend this fabulous oasis.

Very nice quaint hotel. The front desk person (Marco) was extremely kind and helpful. Our room was very clean and cozy. Very comfortable bed! I loved the decor throughout the lobby and our room. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely look forward to staying again when we return to the area.

Very close to Millbrae BART and Caltrain station. Good parking. Close to shops and restaurants. Has something of a quirky atmosphere. The disappointment was the breakfast room. Supplies running out. Rubbish bin not emptied. Tables not wiped between guests. Management needs to look at how the breakfast room is staffed and operates. It lets down an otherwise good establishment.

The place itself had great location, exceeded well beyond our expectations with Clean rooms, friendly staff and free breakfast. Our stay was stress free and quiet :)

All was good except they lost or did not confirm part of our reservation on our return trip even though they had our car for the days we requested. We did manage to get rooms for the other two nights but then they double charged us. Rooms and grounds and proximity to airport is great as is shuttle service. Will stay again.

I can't recommend this hotel now. I planned to stay for one night due to a long layover in SFO. I had a last minute flight change that routed me through San Diego and the hotel refused to issue a refund in spite of extenuating circumstances and the front desk would not refer me to a supervisor, claiming there was none on the premises.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! So awesome, affordable and unique, yet very comfortable, clean and spacious! The hotel staff are so nice and caring. The breakfast is amazing! Did I mention location? Amazingly close to the airport, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. One of my favorite perks was the in-room record player with a few of my favorite albums to listen to. The balcony porch was an awesome feature too. We will definitely stay here again!

After a five and a half hour plane ride from the east coast… we call the shuttle service once to let them know we arrived at the departure gate and airline. Waited, called again after 15 minutes. We were told the shuttle would take 20-25 minutes, 40 minutes later after considering an Uber or even walking we call again asked about it. Still currently waiting on this shuttle service. Has officially been an hour. Can’t wait to see how the rest of this goes. See you soon concierge desk ❤️ Whenever you decide to get us or nah? Did I mention it was originally 1am? Now 2.4am east coast time, we would like to go to bed. Awful awful awful awful service.

Lovely and clean. This updated hotel had it all for us. A little deck to enjoy a nighttime snack. Comfy night's sleep. Free breakfast. Highly recommend!

Nice stay you can the hotel was probably built in the late 60's early 70's but they have really modernized it a lot. It is super close to SFO and there are stores and places to eat in easy walking distance. Bed was super comfortable and * had a great stay would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place — great breakfast, great rooms, friendly staff… close to eateries and BART… and free parking! They have a shuttle bus that runs to and from the airport… ticks all the boxes.

We needed somewhere to stay close to the airport for our early morning flight and it suited that need perfectly. The room was small but extremely nice. Updated bathroom was welcome after a week of travel. Friendly staff. Slightly better breakfast with potatoes, eggs and sausage. Shuttle bus was there when they said it would be.

Staff was efficient and very helpful. Room was clean and well appointed. Very convenient to SFO airport. Loved every aspect of our stay.

The staff were courteous and very knowledgable. My room was perfect! Clean, well decorated and in the am a great breakfast that was included in the cost as well as my favorite a Latte… hope to stay here again and would recommend it to all of my friends as a nice break from the chain hotels.

I had a short, two-day stay for a business trip, but was actually very impressed with this hotel. Marco, the front desk rep I worked with let me know the property was recently renovated (I've never stayed at this hotel previously). Overall, it's a cute kind of hipster-vibe hotel. Very clean, nice staff and complimentary breakfast is also nice and the food was different every day — which is nice, because a lot of hotels just serve the same food everyday. Also love their barista machine in the lobby (you can make lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, americanos, etc. All with the touch of a button… of course free)! Marco was kind enough to upgrade my room. He upgraded me to the 2-bedroom deluxe with the mini fridge and microwave. My room even had a balcony to sit outside and enjoy the weather or you could throw a record on the record player inside the room — super cool! I flew in and out of SFO. The hotel conveniently has a shuttle you can schedule for free to shuttle you back to the airport to fly back out. This was very nice and convenient! Would definitely stay here again if back in the area!

We stayed at the Dylan for one night after arriving into SFO late. It was easy to get to the shuttle and we didn't have to wait long and the ride from the airport to hotel was 10 minutes or less. Check in was quick and easy and we were on our way to the room. Our room was freezing when we first arrived, but we put the heat on and it quickly warmed up. Our room was super clean and tidy. The bed was a king and incredibly comfy! We were really impressed overall. The bathroom was small but it did the trick. There was a vanity just outside the bathroom with extra space to do your hair or makeup if needed (which I utilized) The free breakfast did the trick in the morning and had quite a variety of items. There's a neat little sitting area to eat breakfast in the morning and they had a movie playing on the TV's which was a bonus. Overall our stay was quick but great nonetheless. Highly recommend this hotel if you are coming/going to the airport.

Extremely poor customer service today on the phone when trying to get to the bottom of an unauthorized charge on my credit card. A gentleman with limited basic English skills literally yelled at me when I asked him to find me someone else who might understand my question better (and quit telling me an unauthorized charge 'is impossibility'. ) He yelled loudly that he was all alone there and didn't have time (to the best of my understanding. ) He told me all I could do was call back tomorrow (Saturday) to try to speak with anyone else. Then he refused to give me either his name or that of a manager, and he hung up on me. I have stayed several times in the past without issue and even brought family there and written a good trip advisor review, but I am reevaluating whether a place that employs someone so rude is somewhere that deserves business. I guess I will have to try to call tomorrow and also get with my credit card company to dispute the fraudulent charge. What a pain.

Like others said, this is a pretty nice hotel. Well thought out pleasant room setting for the money. Well maintained. Many hotels even with more money nowadays I feel the cleaning crews are not doing their job well and getting worse. But the Dylan hotel crew does it very well. Pleasant smell and clean room, I stayed twice this month, I can use this all the time. Photo is a break area I took in the morning.

Wonderful stay! Awesome staff! Amazing remodel. Comfy beds, great breakfast options. Only {small} glitch was our shower-not remodeled, not great pressure, and didn’t fit in nicely in the whole “picture. ” But we will stay here again for sure!

Hotel located close to the BART. So access to San Francisco is very easy. The rooms are clean and breakfast is included.

Loved the decor. Very boutique. But the walls are thin and you hear the neighbors. Don't count on the airport shuttle — it's not worth the hour long wait. Just take the Bart.

This is a GREAT little hotel. Don't let the "door on the outside" thing fool you. The rooms have been updated and inside it feels much more like a 4star hotel. The beds are very comfortable.

Nice little hotel near the airport. Located close to all Asian restaurants — hotpot, Japanese and also coffee shops (less than 10 mins drive to the good one). Breakfast is great featuring self-made pancakes!

Not quite sure where all of the good reviews are coming from. After making a reservation with a "rude/short" desk worker, we showed up at 1:00pm (check-in time) Room was not ready and we were told with no sympathy that our room wouldn't be ready for another hour or more. After finally getting our one room key of the requested 2, there was a hole in the closet wall. House keepers yelling across the parking lot at 8:30 AM. Highly lacking light in rooms also. Lack of parking, as a storage pod is taking up 3 spaces. I Summarized enough to be helpful. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Millbrae BART Station. That in itself is a big selling point. The staff is some of the best I have ever encountered. Anna at the front desk helped me a lot with my billing/continuity issues (since it was a corporate and leisure trip combined, there was a lot of coordinating to do). The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I stayed for a whole week and was very happy with my overall stay.

A stylish hotel/motel that is nicely decorated. The rooms were very clean. The shuttle service to the airport ran flawless and is free. Breakfast is good for American standards. It is just because of the neighboring train and airport very noisy in the rooms. You also always hear the rolling of the suitcases and opening and closing the doors of the neighbors. For people with a light sleep it is not so relaxing here. The beds could be a bit more comfortable. For two in a bed one always rolls up to each other, because the suspension seems to be too weak.

The room is very clean and the breakfast is full. I would recommend this hotel.

Recently renovated, clean and free of unpleasant odors given by cigarette smoke that often s meet in hotel USA. Reduced to the minimum terms the space for breakfast, just a dozen people to clog it…

Exceeded my expectations! This hotel really tries to make everyone happy. It is very clean and surprisingly stylish. Every staff person went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Free breakfast included fresh fruit, baked eggs, fresh waffles, Apple cake, bagels, and much more. There is a free shuttle to SFO airport. I saw several nice restaurants within easy walking distance. The beds were comfortable and everything is very clean.

Very beautiful place, nice and spacious room. Shower and bathroom very clean with lots of space to store your things. The decor of the whole hotel is beautifully done and we especially loved the fact that there is free airport transit available, even if you just go and take back your rental car — they will pick you up. Breakfast was okay — nothing special but there should be something for everyone's tastes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The staff was excellent! Very friendly, professional and helpful. When I arrived, Charde greeted me and made me feel at home. I was staying the night, and the next evening taking an night flight to the UK, and she made sure that I was set up to be able to leave my luggage during the day while I took BART into the city. The room was comfortable, and amazingly quiet for being convenient to BART and so many restaurants and other conveniences. Leaving my car was easy and a…ffordable also. I will definitely return to The Dylan whenever I need to fly out of SFO.

I booked this room super late night, and last minute. When I arrived I quickly checked in, and was on my way to my room. Once I got into my room I was pleasantly surprised! The room was very updated, modern, and clean! I enjoyed seeing the art above the bed and thought it was a cool touch. The room was not very spacious but was enough for two people. I really liked this room and would definitely be back!

Wonderful stay at the Dylan. Check in was easy and efficient, hosts were pleasant and informative. They got me a shuttle to the airport and even held onto my bags past check out as I went to get lunch. Room was clean and modern. Highly recommend and would stay again.

What a fantastic hotel, so convenient, just a phone call from the arrivals hall on a courtesy phone, a pleasant and helpful Charde at the end of the line to assist with everything. A free shuttle with great service, when we arrived, Charde was expecting us and made us feel very welcome. The room looked and serviced us well, nice and quiet, despite being close to trains and airport. We were provided exemplary service, a map of the area, where to eat, how to catch the Bart to The city, great breakfast. This hotel is a cut above the rest, and shows Best Practice in their service and hospitality. Other hotel owners could learn a lot from this facility. Loved the hotel. Comfy beds, room was very clean more than enough extras such as TV and the included free breakfast was awesome. But what really made the trip for me and my partner was Charde. What a lovely person. She was so kind and helpful and was more than happy to help book our sightseeing trip around San Francisco. Will definitely be recommending this hotel to family and friends and next time I'm in San Francisco I will be booking with The Dylan at SFO.

So happy we decided to stay here during our SF visit. Literally right by the bart station, a nicer hot breakfast, rooms were spacious and clean, and great service. I'd stay here again and recommend to friends. Definitely worth the money. They also provide an airport shuttle.

We stayed at The Dylan at SFO as a stop over for the night after our flight landed before picking up our hire car the next day. The hotel airport shuttle bus was fast and really appreciated. They arrived quickly after we phoned from the dedicated free phone and got us promptly to the hotel. Check in was fast and efficient. The room was lovely, clean with a comfortable bed. The shower was great too. Breakfast in the morning was delicious — its a basic help yourself buffet with a few hot items and lots of choice of cereals and breads etc. The highlight was the waffle machine. There was a timed waffle maker that made you fresh waffles… Yum. Overall, this stay was exactly what we needed. Recommended :)

The Dylan at SFO is located in the beautiful town of Burlingame California. It's a very clean, updated, safe and friendly hotel. They offer late check out if requested as well as breakfast from 6am to 10am. I have stayed there about 3 times now and I plan to stay again. The Dylan Hotel will always be my first choice. Absolutely a 4 star Hotel.

Horrible! Waited 40 minutes for the airport transportation before getting a taxi. Completely junkie looking on the outside. I guess they are going to paint the outside and dress it up a bit but it's just a dressed up motel 6. Heater in the room is broken. Woke up freezing. After not picking up the phone, the front desk person was not able to get us a room with a working heater or an extra blanket. I am pregnant and it was absolutely scary getting out of bed to go to the bathroom because I was shaking so bad from the cold. Worst hotel ever!

This place would have gotten 6 stars, but I was forced to deduct one whole star because sadly, this top hat "sculpture" in my room was not a lamp. I searched for an on/off switch. I found none. After thorough investigation, I found this "lamp" was not only lacking an on/off switch, it had no power cord, and it had no lightbulb! Damn you questionable random counter top art pieces!

Near to the airport and BART and a Walgreen's and a Chipotle. Free shuttle to the airport. Room interiors are nicer on the inside than you'd expect. A perfectly fine place to crash if your flight out of SFO is delayed.

The Dylan is a nice boutique hotel with a helpful staff. It is conveniently located close to restaurants and a short 5 minute walk to the local train station with a 30 minute ride to downtown San Francisco. The room is better than expected with a high quality tv. Breakfast had limited but good options.

Great location. Near the airport (SFO) so airport shuttle is free. Near the Millbrae BART station which has trains running to and from downtown SF 24/7. Near the following places, too: In n Out, L&L Hawaiian BBQ, CVS, Chipotle, Starbucks and other cafes/restaurants. Neighborhood is peaceful, safe and quiet. Hotel staff are courteous and nice. Free breakfast is better than I expected.

Except kind expensive, I have to say, this is a really good place to stay. I've been here this August. The room was big enough and looked very nice and tidy. Besides, all the things in the room were well designed and good for using. And there were lots of details which was thought for the guests! Next April I would be here again and get a nice experience!

Pretty good hotel next to Millbrae station. The rooms are large with big bed and the shower was nice and clean. Would recommend staying here especially if you have an early flight out of SFO. The hotel has an airport shuttle but you need to let them know you want one.

Great tastful decor. Very clean and quiet. Great breakfast selection and free. Just feels very modern with the art, brand of furniture/faucets and ceremics, as well as NFC lock (as opposed to magetic stripe) highly recommended!

Free shuttle to and from airport at request, clean, close to the airport & train station (about 15/20 minutes from San Francisco). The man at the desk was SO helpful & friendly with everything. It is set up sort of like a motel though (have to walk outside to get to your room which is on one of three floors). You can certainly hear the footsteps of the people above you, however all in all good place.

The customer service is extraordinary! The breakfast exceeded that of fancier places. The beds are very comfortable. The proximity to bart is perfect, and the shuttle to the airport perfectly accommodating. My only complaint is that there is noise on Monday mornings, due to garbage pick-up, but that's not their fault. If you are going to try to sleep in on Monday, you might want to wear ear plugs.

Going off the reviews we figured this was a great place to stay. First off when we got there they informed us the elevator was out of order and we were on the 3 rd floor. Then at 7:30pm the power goes out and we were informed it would come back on at 10pm which was not the case because it came on at 6am the next morning. Which meant no heat in the room or hot water for a shower. When we asked for a partial refund the lady was rude and gave excuse after excuse. This was my first trip to San fransisco and it will be my last if I had to stay here.

I was impressed with this hotel near the airport. It offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport, an excellent free breakfast (serve yourself), it is reasonably priced and was clean and quiet. I needed a place to stay between flights at SFO. Around 9:00pm I called for the hotel shuttle to pick me up, and it arrived about 20 minutes later. It took about 5 minutes to get to the hotel. The shuttle service is a bit odd; it runs constantly but you are also supposed to call to let them know you are waiting. I think they're not supposed to pick you up unless you call, but I couldn't quite figure it out. The front desk was absolutely swamped when I got there, but I don't know if that is always true or just bad timing. It looked like a whole sports team was checking in or out. There was only one person working, so it took a long time to get checked in. The person there was helpful, though, letting me borrow a roll of packing tape for a package that had ripped open. The room itself was very clean and quiet. It was nicely decorated and everything looked new. The shower worked well and the bed was comfortable. I was impressed with the quality of the room given the price and proximity to the airport. The next day I managed to grab some breakfast while I waited for the shuttle. The selection was good and included a belgian waffle maker. The shuttle can take up to 20 minutes to get there past your scheduled departure, so be prepared for that.

Great place and good price, especially for a place so near San Francisco. It's also a mere 5-10 minute walk to the BART and Caltrain station, which gives access to most of the Bay Area. The staff is friendly, and the whole place is very nice and comfortable. The rooms and hallways have unique decorations. The only shortcoming would be the size of the breakfast area, which gets rather cramped in the mornings.

It is located near the San Francisco Airport and just 5 minutes walk from the Millbrae Bart station. With the rate it enters free shuttle to airport, breakfast and Wi-Fi free. Rooms are not very large but very well equipped, they even have coffee maker to make you coffee or tea whenever you want. No doubt a very good option for stays near the airport.

Flight got in after midnight; had no problem getting a shuttle to this hotel and checking in. There's not much around the area, but if you need a place to crash near the airport, I would highly recommend this place. Breakfast is generous with a wide assortment of foods. Room was clean, bathroom spotless with nice showers. The Bart station is only a minute walk away, making it very convenient for getting into the city. I would definitely stay here again.
