Get Managers who actually do what they say they do. There are hours available to complain about noise and while the girls were having fun… you could not hear it down the other side! What a blatant liar! And she said she called and she did not. I was in the room the whole time except when I was unloading my stuff. Too bad my friend had to suffer : — (

I stayed at this hotel five days for a business trip (company training class). I picked this hotel due to its cost, location, amenities, and proximity to the training I was attending. This hotel is not too bad: 1. I really liked the continental breakfast. There were lots of food choices and the hot food was different every day, it tasted decent too. You can even make your own waffles. 2. As far as location is concerned, It is not in the best area of town, although, it is much better than staying in Oakland. This hotel is located on a very busy street and there is some traffic noise that can be heard inside the room, but it wasn't too bad as I was able to sleep okay. One good thing is that location is very convenient as there are a few decent places to eat within walking distance from the hotel. The bad thing about this, was that my room had a constant smell from the El Pollo Loco right next door. The inside of the hotel seemed nice and clean, and the lobby looked pretty modern as well. The rooms themselves, although somewhat small, are pretty good too and they did a good job of dampening noise from the adjacent rooms. The room also included a microwave and mini-fridge. The TV was also good and had a decent selection of channels (although only local channels were in HD). I never used the pool or the gym while I was here, so I can't really comment on those.

Very clean and modern hotel, just outside the busy stretches of the city, but close enough to get there in reasonable time. The staff are extremely courteous and friendly. One of the best cleaned rooms I've had in quite a while. Would stay here again when I return to the area.

Really? Pay $279 a night to get racially profiled and discriminated against by the over night night clerk nikka.

Love this place. It's a nice little get away from how busy Hayward and the Bay Area can be. The staff is always courteous and helpful and their breakfast selection is just right for me. Fabulous all around.

Friendly staff, nice place. They let us in before regular check in time, once a room was available.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed and a good hot breakfast with protein. My only complaint is your the fridge in our room ran cold and although it was on the lowest setting, froze all our drinks, and caused a small explosion. Other than that it was perfect for the price.

This is a nice enough hotel. The breakfast is like every other hotel chains attempt at a hot breakfast. The staff was polite and helpful. The rooms were clean enough. Maintenance needed to be done. Our lights had flickering issues but what really lowers the stars for me are the beds. Such uncomfortable beds.

Great people, clean and comfortable rooms. Only Chan be I would make is don't ask your guests to give you $50 up front for amenities unless they are saying they want to use amenities. Other hotels just keep a card on file. I won't ever give up $50 unless I want to.

This was the first time we stood at the Hampton Inn and we have no regrets. The room had enough pillows & extra blanket. The staff was charming and very helpful and the hotel set out a nice spread for breakfast.

Great accommodations. Clean, attentive staff. Only 4 stars because the rationed out the bottled water — you had to go to the front desk and ask. None supplied in the room.

Room was clean. Friendly staff but was given a ADA room. My family and I are not disabled. Had to wait for about 10 minutes to get a new key at 1am in the morning as there was no attendant at front desk. Breakfast was pathetic with the grumpier person serving. Her response to a good morning was just a huh!. House keeping started knocking on my door at 9.30am. They did this twice within a couple of minutes. Overall clean and comfortable rooms but customer service is lacking.

I stay at this hotel often on business trips. The hotel is clean and the rooms are in good condition. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi in the room is strong. The breakfast is the typical Hampton Inn breakfast. One point of caution is parking. Do not leave anything valuable visible in your car. I have known a couple co-workers to have their cars broken into here.

I have stayed with Hampton Inn for many years and have always had a great experience. I recently stayed there this month and if I could give a — 5 stars I would. The person who took my reservation did not note that I would be arriving early so I get there and the only reason I got a room was because someone else didn't check in. I reserved 2 queen beds and was given a single king. I had my kids with me and since only 1 roll away bed would fit in the room 1 of my kids had to sleep on the floor. According to the manager her not charging me for the early check in and roll away was a good enough compensation for my child sleeping on the floor. Never again!

Nice room. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Really a good size room. Could not connect to the Wi-Fi. Front desk person said I needed to come to them for help… forget about it.

Service was great and room was clean. Checking in and out was a breeze. I asked for an early check in, but the room I selected was being cleaned. The front desk asked me if odd low a different rim that was ready which was nice.

Functional and well located.

Our room was great, hot breakfast is a huge plus. However our friends who are also rewards members had their toilet back up in their room and the evening staff was extremely rude, told them they could "come get a plunger, but the maintenance man wouldn't be back until the morning. " Mind you, this wasn't 3am Sunday, it was 8pm on a Thursday. The manager was great, though, and comped their room. So, overall they get 4 stars because they made it right.

I love this place! The rooms are fabulous, but it is the great STAFF that makes the Hotel!

We are visiting the hotel for work training in the area. Upon check-in there was an issue with the credit card that had been provided. The staff was very accommodating and did what they could to make sure that we were able to stay at least the night and get everything resolved the next morning. During our stay we've had a couple of minor issues but the staff was quick to respond. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating.

My granddaughter & I truly enjoyed our stay here! The staff are the most friendliest I've seen. They made us feel very welcome. I really want to commend Hampton Inn for the best stay I have ever had. My granddaughter who's 7, really enjoyed her fluffy pillows and bed and she really loved the breakfast in the morning. She actually woke up before 6am anticipating breakfast and enjoyed all of it! Thank you so much!

I was having trouble finding a nice hotel for a reasonable rate for my first visit to Hayward but was so happy I decided to check this place out! I am so thankful for the front desk girl because she went above and beyond what she had to do to make me have nice stay. If you are ever in Hayward stay here!

Thank you for a great visit! Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast (eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, bagels, and more! ). Daughter forgot her toothbrush and they gave her one complimentary. And they accommodated our late check in and check out!
Will be making this our home hotel when our daughter attends CSUEB!

I stay here often for business. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The hotel was remodeled a couple years ago and the furnishings and rooms are still in pretty good condition. The breakfast is the standard Hampton Inn breakfast and is consistent. I would recommend this hotel to someone who needs to stay in the area.

Free parking, breakfast, and internet. Convenient to CSU East Bay, but not OAK. Fast food Mexican restaurant adjacent. On busy road, so get a room in the back.

The check inn process was great. The girl who checked us in got us a couple rooms 3 hours early. The entire staff was very courteous. The free breakfast is actually pretty tasty!

This is one of the worst Hampton Inn I stayed over the years. They forgot (on purpose? ) to clean my room, when I complained about it, the room keys didn't work. The hotel is located too far from both San Francisco downtown and Silicon Valley where I really need to stay but couldn't find any room. I am seriously regretting that our crew stayed in Travelodge in downtown SF instead of here in Hayward where there are no good restaurants nor even Whole Foods to buy meals on the go to take back to hotels.
