The front desk employees were very helpful and nice. The drawbacks were no ice in either ice machine, and the soda machine "ate" one of our dollars. The room and bathroom were clean and the air conditioner worked. The shower was wonderful… hot water with good force. All in all it was a good stay.

I was delighted and surprised with our visit! The front desk ladies were so energetic and refreshing compared to some I had encountered during a drive west. The hotel itself was clean and looked great! Marci was the front desk was marvelous and checked on us after we were settled. Overall, we loved the room! Thanks!

I have never stayed at a motel6 until this visit. I was pleasantly surprised that the decor was simple and updated. I especially like not having any carpet in the room, which tends to smell after time. The beds (nothing fancy about furniture) were quite comfortable as were the pillows. The motel seemed updated, bathroom, tiles, flooring, bedding and wall paint. I guess for the price point it was reasonable, especially not having a closet in the room or any amenities in our room (kleenex box, shampoo/conditioner/lotions). We chose to stay here because most of the hotels prices had doubled or rooms weren't available for our stay.

The toilet was broken. We asked to change rooms and the only thing available were king beds. The staff then rudely refused to refund us so we could move into the king beds. We were advised that was not possible that we would need to outright make a new reservation (without being refunded) and pay more for the different room. We left to a different hotel with no refund (until we later called the next day) and very unsatisfied. We work in this area frequently and will NEVER stay at this establishment again.

We really enjoyed our stay with you. Especially appreciated the entire bathroom enclosed, rather than a sink in the room. Our only concern is that after logging into your Wi-Fi, our laptop keeps telling us we have a virus and all kinds of "helps" are popping up. Hopefully, that has nothing to do with your system and will stop soon, Otherwise, the room was great, the coffee wonderful, the staff pleasant and accommodating! Thank you!

We have stayed at this location numerous times over the last few years, this last stay was not so pleasant, we checked in a night early because we arrived early only to be put in a room at 1am in the morning that wasn't cleaned, pop cans everywhere, dirty sheets and trash in the trash cans, as well as a bad soft spot on the floor that I thought we were going to fall through. Upon speaking to the front desk they changed my room in which we found the cleanliness of this room to be below average compared to all our prior stays. This location was all ways our go to spot but this last time will probably be the last after this experiance.

I really like staying at this motel. The rooms are always clean, the staff here are very friendly, and they accept pets with no pet fee. One of the employees at the front desk is named Carol and she is so sweet and kind to my children. I appreciate her always asking me if I need anything and I see her talking to everyone. She has great customer service.

Stayed here April13-15, 2018. I know this isn't a fancy or high priced motel but it lacked the basics. No mini shampoo bottle and no mini toothpaste either. The bathroom also lacked a simple waste basket and no ceiling fan. The room was just equipped with a full sized bed and simple table like desk with one chair. Couldn't believe there wasn't a comfy chair stayed at lower end motels equipped with one in the past. Also, I did notice a lot of windows with broken screens on first floor and a few on second floor as well it makes you wonder. In the description dogs are supposed to be well behaved but I too had my issues of walking down the hall hearing barking. I'm assuming due to hardly any furniture and wood or wood like floors you hear everybody on top or on side from you. There was lots of commotion outside too I don't know what was up but cars kept coming and leaving, heard a crow bar fall on cement, and a constant couple talking loudly. Oh yeah not to mention the doors are heavy lots of people wouldn't shut the door behind them leaving the door to slam loudly hearing it down hallway. And on second day elevator was out of order. Imagine if an emergency had occured.

The staff is really nice! The rooms are modern. There are HDMI ports for hooking up consoles. There is a nice pool. It did smell like weed all over the place and that's why I took a star off.

I loved it! The staff was so friendly. Also the rooms was clean and beautiful I travel with my dog and I love your prices, nice rooms and friendly staff. I do recommend this motel to all my friends and family.

We were very surprised when we got to this "motel" to find it was actually a nice converted Hotel. We were stuck with a last minute emergency that had us traveling with a puppy, so we chose Motel 6 because of the pet policy. The staff was polite and welcoming. The room was small, but clean and I was happy to find a bathtub, instead of just a shower. Travel with animals can be difficult, but this time it was a pleasure.

Everyone was friendly, courteous and accommodating. Room was very clean. My only complaint is there was no ventilation in the bathroom. Other than that everything was fine. Easy access to 101 fwy and places to eat.

I've had outstanding service from the entire staff in particular Ms. Carol has been wonderful welcoming my boys. She is engaging not just with us but with everyone who walks in. She always has a smile on her face and my boys look forward to saying hi in the morning to her. She is a great asset to the team.

Economy hotel but on peak times rates will get higher. They have a pool and coffee in the lobby. Coffee is served until 9:30am. There is a restaurant sharing the parking lot but it closes at 2 pm. Rooms are clean. The staff is helpful and pleasant. Everything you'd expect from Motel six.

Normally one would not think to rate a 5 for Motel 6… Well because of thinking it’s a cheap motel right? Well, this motel in particular took me by surprise. It was clean and updated! And the staff was very nice. In fact, after I checked out and left I was called because they found a bag that I forgot in my room. So as a guest, man I really appreciate that and their honesty. So kudos to you guys at Motel 6 Gilroy for that, I believe the staff that called me was Carol. But they were all great! So yes, 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️! Keep up the great job!

A great value. Employees friendly especially Adriana at the front desk. The bed could use a thicker blanket in winter. Cons: need a security guard patrolling the parking lot for some of the guests are criminals, prostitutes and drug addicts. Homeless and transients frequent dark corners. Saw a mother give pot to her 6 year old son after servicing a john. Make it 2 security guards.

Room was ready to go when I arrived at approximately 6:00 pm. Check in was smooth and quick. I asked for a late check out and they accommodated 12:30 with no charge. Friendly front office staff.

Check in was good except they wanted to see my husband's id also and that has never happened to me. People hang out near the sides of the building and I did not feel safe. Light didn't work and no hot water in the sink. This was a budget lodging that would be good for some but very basic.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. On my recent stay there, my property was stolen. My property was stolen AFTER the night desk person assured me it would be safe and that the neighborhood was safe. There were cameras but apparently they don't work because the hotel insists there is no video. Motel 6 corporate has declined to compensate me for my loss. If you stay at this Motel 6, completely empty your car, and lock your room door as securely as possible; the Gilroy Police Department informs me that this hotel has had multiple room break-ins.

The room was clean, and the woman at the desk was very polite and helpful. My only complaint were the men hanging around the parking lot most of the night, which didn't make me feel safe about leaving my car where I couldn't see or hear it. We didn't have any problems, however. I didn't realize when booking it that the rooms were inside, which I don't like, for the reasons stated above. But, that is my fault for not paying attention. That is the only reason I wouldn't recommend this motel.

We always stay with you guys because it's convenient to the places we like to visit. The front desk staff is always very nice. I have noticed this time around though, that the cleanliness of the rooms was not done well. There was pubic hair and other hair in the bathtub and hair in the sink area. The front desk stated that they were understaffed, so I get that the cleaning staff has to hurry, but when a guest comes to stay, I don't like having to wash out the shower and bathtub before I let my children take a shower. Other than that our stay is always enjoyable.

When I arrived a the front desk, there were 2 agents I stood their waiting to be check in, and 1 didn't care she was talking to some one, that to me the way they were have a conversation was a family member. The other one acted she was busy, when the line star incising, the one acting busy star checking me in. An other person who need it help ask the agent that was talking to her friend, she told him to wait until the one that was assisting me. No welcome or thank you, no smile, it seems she was not happy with her job. When I got to the room. The bed was the worst you can sleep on. Toilet was dirty, the phone cord was just hanging. I am glad I was just one day there. I don t think I can stay more then 5 hours I was their. This will be my 1st and last to stay in a Motel 6

Hotel is conveniently located on the highway. From there very quickly to reach.

Room was clean, staff were friendly, and hotel was easily accessible from the freeway. My only problem was that I was next to an exterior exit door that slammed shut whenever used. It was in heavy use (every minute or two) from 5:45 am to 6:30 am.

There were muffin crumbs or some kind of food chunks in the sheets. There was something sticky spilled on the headboard/bed frame. Spiders on the bathroom wall. Hair in the supposedly clean bathtub. Shower curtain on backwards. Long black hair inside one of the pillowcases. Stains on the bedspread. Cleaning staff very noisy across from our room. Needless to say we got a room somewhere else, I did not feel comfortable having to tell the front desk all of these issues so we just left and were out $106.

You get what you pay for… This is a sub $100.00 room so your expectations should not be that high. The place is noisey. The room, while it looked like it was recently painted was very Spartan. Just a small shelf and a suitcase rack. No other storage options. One bedspread had a cigarette burn in it. The biggest thing for me was the bathroom. The sink did not drain well so it filled up during the lightest of uses and the shower felt like it didn't have enough support underneath it. The place is pet friendly though.

I thought the room was very clean and in the upgraded Motel 6 furnishings and floors are what I expect. Only problem is that the doors were so heavy, you could hear every door slam closed on our entire hallway. Still a very nice stay and I would definitely stay there next time I am in Gilroy.

YES very cheap but PLEASE pay that extra money at another hotel and avoid staying here. The rooms are DIRTY the sheets are disgusting with black spots everywhere! Since I couldn't get my money back they "upgraded" me to a "big clean room" IT WAS WORSE! I tried to just get some sleep but I just couldn't sleep at all the bed was very uncomfortable and I just couldn't help and think how disgusting everything was so I left a little pass 3 to another hotel next door at that point I just didn't care if I payed double I needed to get OUT OF THAT HOTEL.

The staff was very friendly. But the quality of the facilities could improve to be more updated. The shower curtain smelled like mold and I did a thorough cleaning of the room before I used it. It was not 100% disinfected.

After driving all day I was looking forward to relaxing and sleeping in at your motel. I was woken up around 8am by maids or others banging and making other noise outside my room. For the price I paid I would expect to be treated more kindly.

Very nice and comfortable to be there and sleep there. Except they didn't change for clean towels for second night and didn't fix the bed. I was out all day and evening on second day. Doesn't bother me at all. Also the front desk knows American Sign Language and be able to speak with me no problem as I am deaf. (Can't hear).

Decent hotel, but the internet was horrible. If you travel often like me, a good internet connection is vital. But if you don't have use for internet, this hotel is a great stay!

I stayed at Motel 6 recently and was extremely pleased with the room. The staff is great and so is their service. The room was clean, coffee was delicious, and I loved being able to go shopping in the evening at the local factory outlets. I would highly recommend this motel.

Overpriced for a 1 star. Elevator broken. Smoke in hallways. Vending machine on 2nd floor is more expensive than 1st floor machine. Internet is slow. If the price was closer to $50 instead of $90 I wouldn't have such a big gripe. People smoking and drinking beer in parking lot after 11 pm. Air conditioning was great. Bed and pillows were great. Shower had great water pressure. Ice machine worked. They put a disabled person on the 2nd floor and elevator was broken. I was told it was my responsibility to call the front office if I wanted to get down to the first floor — — wth? I feel sorry for the corporate investors — — that motel is a handful of bad service that starts with no pricing on the highway sign and proceeds to ADA violations, safety code violations, and fire code violations.

One of the nicest Motel 6's I've found. I think it used to be a hotel, and the rooms open into a hallway, and they've been renovated fairly recently. No restaurant but there's a diner right across the parking lot, and multiple food options nearby. The staff is always friendly even when I've arrived after midnight, and I've stayed here a couple dozen times. Safe mellow small town,, outlet mall nearby and just a half-hour from San Jose. My go-to stop in the Bay Area!

I recommend this Motel 6 if you're traveling to the bay area from Southern California. It was much cheaper than staying in the San Francisco area. The room was very clean and quiet and there was ample parking.

Super friendly staff. Room was completely comfortable and clean in the new-look wood floor Motel 6 fashion. TV worked great. Bed was firm but I don't mind that. Some others may. My issue was with sound. I got in late at night and was exhausted from a long day. I should have slept soundly. I use a sound machine to help me sleep. Sadly, the window, door, and walls of this place were so thin that I heard every vehicle driving by, including a nearby train, and every person walking through the hallways, including the housekeepers cleaning the room next door. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep. So location is fine, place is clean, staff is friendly, but if you are a light sleeper, or have a hard time falling asleep because of sound… this is not the place for you.

Pretty inexpensive considering other prices in the area, and especially as you get closer to San Jose. Even so, the rooms were recently renovated (as of August 2015) in a very clean, modern style, and were quite nice. The staff was very friendly as well.

Outer security door was broken. Outright drug dealing/using was going on inside the stairwell. Strong marijuana odor in the hallways (separate from the drug use we stumbled across in the stairwell). And "complimentary Wi-Fi" was non-functional, could (barely) load the Google search page but nothing further. Worst stay at a Motel 6 I've ever had in more than 40 years of traveling the country. Never again here; and quite possibly, never again at a Motel 6 anywhere if this trip was indicative of corporate attitude towards their properties.

I have no complaints. Staff were very friendly. Room was nice and neat. Management lady Rocks. She's very helpful and kind. I stayed 3 weeks and some change. They made my stay more enjoyable and I would refer friends, family to stay. So I give it 5 stars. When I am in town I will stay again. Thank you Motel 6. You Guys and gals Rock!

The room was redone… the prices ok… dirty towels. Ring around bath tub. Unfriendly day time front desk workers. Dishes in kitchen were dirty. Old food in fridge. Condoms under the bed not new may I add… Never again.

Newly renovated rooms were clean, but sparse in an Ikea style. Fine, but lack of shelves or drawers for belongings could be inconvenient if more than one person in room. Did not like the fact that there was no toilet seat lids in the restrooms. Service was friendly, but make sure to confirm checkout times and what your contact number is. They packed up my stuff and said they tried to call me. Coffee is offered in the lobby in the morning, but they didnt have hot water offered for us herbal tea drinkers. I take my tea with me whenever I travel, but no hot water, Overall, for the price, it was clean and friendly and would probably stay again if needing accommodations in that area.

We had a late check-in but the staff was energetic and nice to us, I really enjoyed the stay and will be back again.

Motel 6 is an inexpensive one stay option and if you are looking to just bunk it for the night and move on the next morning, then the value is there. No frills, no glitz and no high class glitz, just what you pay for, a clean comfortable one night stay and a very reasonable price.

The rooms are quite small, but clean. Dont forget anything at home cuz they dont supply anything but that terrible bar soap. Id recommend the place for a quick stay over.

Stayed here for a week for work. Price was good. The rooms are what you expect for a motel 6. The place is noisy. But the service is where they fall short very short, asked for several days about clean towels and trash. Keep getting false promises.
