Could be cheaper. No breakfast. Overall nice and clean.

Definitely more basic than even quality inn type motels but convenient location between Monterey and SFO right in the middle of the Gilroy Premium Outlet complexes.

I am writing this review based on my 2nd experience. The 1st booking there I’d give it a 3.5 Star it was descent at a low price. BUT my 2nd reservations I made over the internet and we had to cancel and I never got a confirmation from the 3rs party I used so I called the Inn and the man that answered he had a very heavy accent literally YELLED at me because he couldn’t cancel my reservations because I did not do it over the phone that he had no info for me. So I went through my emails again and still did not find a confirmation so again in hopes I got someone else on the phone lol I called the INN back no luck same man again I got YELLED AT. I’m think is he really serious all I asked is for the info where I can call to cancel and he said there’s nothing he can do it’s not his problem. I’m like what the hell is wrong with this man. I’m not being rude all I want to do is cancel a reservation that I hadn’t even paid for I was told to pay at the hotel when I checked in! Why can’t he hit a button and cancel! I will never stay here again.

Non smoking room smelled like it used to be smoking room. It was very disappointing. Stuff is very friendly though. Expensive.

Quite unclean and loud. The room had a strong 'old smoke' smell and was not really cleaned eventhough the innkeeper said it would be. The frontdoor is too small for the opening and light, noise and smell freely enter the room. Mind you: it's next to a big street. Last but not least; the lockbolt doesnt go in, so the door is not lockable. We barricaded it with the office chair from the room. We overpaid. Avoid.

Older but clean and comfortable. Has a small refrigerator and microwave. I would stay again.

Staying at Gilroy Inn has it's ups and downs. The location does not endear one to feel safe, but I had no issues staying there. The service is acceptable, the room was acceptable and clean and you have plenty of eating and shopping options nearby or across the street. No, it's not a five-star hotel, but it seems to be owner-operated and that in itself is an admirable challenge.

Nice clean rooms. Up to date amenities with free Wi-Fi. Friendly staff.

Location is great since we did the late shopping at the outlet. Have refrigerator and microwave is a plus. We like our stayed.

Mike is one of the best innkeepers we have ever met. We stay at a lot of Motel 6 is around the country and we found this one to be particularly clean and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend staying at this property anytime you are in the San Jose area. Well worth the extra commute.

I chose to stay at this location because I had to go to a dog show in Prunedale. I was pleased to know they have microwave, fridge and coffeemaker in all rooms. My room is clean, a/c running very well and the bed is very comfortable. Would definitely come back to stay if the price is in my budget!

The room was fine it was clean the remodel was nice. However when we got to the room it was 97 degrees inside! I had a reservation which the front office had trouble finding. I understand cost saving measures but we had to leave the hotel for an hour after we got there just so the room was tolerable. How hard is it to set the rooms to 85? Because it was so hot when I got to the room I immediately started looking for other things wrong.

Booked the room through my employer's discount website. I had read several reviews stating that the manager had somehow been rude, and that they had difficulty with their reservation. I had called once before, to ask about their pet policy and was told to "Call back next month. I don't have a rate for you. " I called a month later, after I had booked the room, just to confirm my reservation. Again, the same voice picked up and stated, "I am busy now. Call back later. " Not only was that not customer service at all, but I had to ask my significant other to call back, since I did not feel like dealing with this voice. When my significant other called, the voice was polite and answered the questions right away. Needless to say, you'd think this was deter me from this place. But little did I know that the reviews and service I had already received, would just be the beginning. Upon arriving to the motel, I was told by the front desk/manager, that they would not honor my discount since I did not have a "code. " He then went on to call a number and got my reservation cancelled, stating I did not have the "code. " I called Motel 6, and they asked why the front desk/manager had cancelled my reservation and had stated that the front desk/manager, did not need to have a "code, " since everything was already taken care of prior to my arrival.

Cheap but the electrical plugs are actually where you can get to them which most places lack, decent amount of TV channels Wi-Fi is decent for it being free.

I seriously don't know why there are negative reviews on here. It's clearly just a simple, local hotel with fast food nearby when you pull in — so why are people sounding shocked? Of course you can smell fast food, but inside our room we didn't smell anything. It was way nicer than I expected from these reviews. We had a very pleasant experience here and would absolutely come back. It's a comfortable, clean hotel that's adequately priced with lots nearby to explore and a pleasant staff.

If you're looking for amenities keep looking. This hotel is very old and it shows. I've stayed here a couple of weekends in August. The hotel staff kept turning off the A/C during the day to save energy. It takes about 3 hours to get the room to a comfortable temperature so I could sleep. Pro's: Deenys across the street and In and Out Burger next door. Cons: slow drains, old carpet, noisy, uncomfortable beds.

Clean rooms! A lil pricy though.

After discussing check out times AT check in and being told that 12-1pm was "okay, no problem, stay as late as you like" we got woke up and given the boot at 11. Not cool for a crew working nights. The room was clean, comfy and affordable but the management pissed me off almost as much as the horrible shower.

We had a very nice stay, last minute decided to go OOT, If the Woman were Happy everybody's happy.

Rip off $500.00 per night during the garlic festival who are they kidding might as well wear a mask.

The rooms are very simple but clean. You can not complain for the price. Ūber close all outlets and restaurants. Is recommended, the owner is super nice.

Nice place. Nice bathroom. Surrounded by restaurants and outlet stores. Staff very nice. Decent price. I stayed Sunday thru Monday. No pool. No jacuzzi. No coffee maker : (but it did have microwave and fridge. Nice room. Looks like they are remodeling the room. When I opened the door smelled really good in there and the a/c was set at 65 and was on. Found my favorite place when I am in the area.

Decent rooms, but expensive on the weekends. The owner is extremely nice.
